From the moment Sephiroth had been allowed to have things to call his own, he had exhibited a possessive streak.

The world starts breaking apart and there are only five who are given the opportunity by Minerva to go back in time and change that future. Tseng, Genesis, Cloud, Vincent, and Weiss are sent back fourteen years...What could possibly go wrong?

As a reward to fending off Sephiroth again and again, Cloud is annointed Guardian of the Planet. This of course leads him to becoming immortal, and quite lonely. Then he comes across Sephiroth stuck In Between in the Lifestream, and a possible road for redemption opens up. And possibly love too.

Sephiroth doesn't often get fanmail... or any mail. ShinRa screens more or less every aspect of his life, after all. So when he receives a package, he's understandably curious.
