This story takes place in the Game of Thrones series. There will be a few multi-crossover chapters, some characters, and references from other series, games, and movies but the story takes place mostly in the Game of Thrones universe.

London in the year 2012

A year, a whole year has passed since SAS and USMC stopped Zakhaev and Ultranationalists from starting a nuclear war. The team that succeeded to stop the nuclear missiles and kill Zakhaev made it back but not without injuries. Captain Price and his men suffered serious injuries during their final fight with Zakhaev but none of them died. After the Ultranationalists were defeated, the Russian forces rescued Price and his team and sent them to the nearest hospital.

It took a while for the team to recover but their wounds healed eventually and they were sent back to England for a debrief. The agents and officers who questioned Price and his men were a little too specific but the team answered every question regarding the mission the best they could.

After the civil war in Russia came to an end, the Russian government began rebuilding what was destroyed and providing safe harbors to the people who lost their homes during the war. It was going to take a long time to rebuild and for the people of Russia to recover from the horrors that happened but now they had something they didn't have for a long time... Hope.

Somehow, the British, US, and Russian governments were able to cover up the event where Zakhaev attempted to fire the nuclear missiles at the western nations. It was a tense situation and the revelation about the incident would have caused chaos but luckily the governments were able to keep it hidden from the people. Even though it was never made in public, the world owed a lot to Price, his team, and everyone who gave their lives to save the world.

Speaking of Price and his team, they were currently back in the SAS training compound where their final battle against Zakhaev began a year ago. The team was currently in the armory checking out the weapons they just received from the military.

"This place brings back memories," Soap said as he was checking his rifle.

"I think this is where I tested your shooting skills, Soap," Gaz said.

"Don't forget that he beat your score in the CQB test, Gaz," Price said.

"Oh come on. I'll beat his score next time," Gaz said feeling a little offended.

The team couldn't help but laugh at Gaz's reaction about Soap beating his score in the CQB test. But they were suddenly interrupted when they heard someone opening the door into the armory. Everyone turned to the door and saw a man with white skin, brown hair, and green eyes dressed in the SAS recruit outfit.

"Who is this kid?" Griggs asked.

"This must be our new recruit," Price said.

After he said it, the man walked to the team and introduced himself.

"Good morning, captain, sir. Sergeant Jason Connor reporting for duty," Jason saluted.

"At ease, sergeant. We don't use ranks when we're off duty," Price said.

"Sorry, sir. Old habits die hard," Jason said.

"So, you're a new member of the team?" Soap asked.

"Yeah. I already have combat experience but I joined SAS recently," Jason said.

"You mean you served in the army before joining SAS?" Griggs asked.

"In the British army, yes. I spent three years in the middle east before I thought of joining special forces. Not only for excitement or to test my skills but also for a little adventure," Jason told the team.

"Hate to disappoint you, kid. But being in special forces isn't about adventure," Price said.

"I've been through enough missions to know that, sir. And I'm not really a kid anymore, I'm 27 years old," Jason said while crossing his arms.

"You're younger than me. That's why I can call you kid," Price said making his team laugh a little.

"Very well, old-timer," Jason said.

This time the team laughed at Price's reaction when Jason called him an old-timer. He was about to say something until he received a call from London. Price picked up his cellphone and answered the call from his superiors.

"Captain Price here... Uh-huh... Alright, we're on our way," Price said before closing his cellphone.

"Who was it, sir?" Gaz asked.

"HQ called from London. Something about the UNIT finishing one of their projects," Price told his men.

As soon as he mentioned the UNIT, the team froze like statues for a moment before Soap spoke up.

"UNIT? As in the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce? The organization that fights hostile aliens?" Soap asked.

"That's them," Price confirmed.

"I went through a few missions with them. The guys in UNIT are some of the toughest I've ever met. Along with you guys of course," Jason said.

"That's not all. The HQ also said that the ARC is also involved in the secret project the UNIT is conducting," Price said.

"The ARC? you mean the Anomaly Research Centre? The organization that is run by a guy named James Lester?" Jason asked.

"The one and only. Look, I'd love to chat here with you but the big guys back in London are waiting for us. So let's move out," Price said

Everyone nodded and left the armory to outside the base where the chopper was waiting for them. Once they were all on board, the chopper took off and headed towards London where the leaders of various military groups and organizations were waiting for them.

Later in London

After the team arrived in London, they were taken to the underground facility where the people from both the UNIT and ARC were working on their projects. The scientists were conducting their research in their labs while the soldiers were guarding the facility. The team walked inside the facility for a few minutes admiring the view until they were greeted by a military officer.

"Good evening, gentlemen. I'm Captain Hilary Becker, the head of security," Becker said as he introduced himself.

"Captain John Price and this is my team," Price said as he shook hands with Becker.

"I heard a lot about, Price. You and your team saved the world from the nuclear fallout," Becker said.

"I think the HQ might have exaggerated about the fallout part but that's what we saved the world from," Price said.

"Anyway, we should be going now. Someone is waiting for you," Becker said.

Everyone nodded and started following Becker to the center of the facility. When they got there, they saw three men standing in what looked like a main laboratory with a huge device in front of them with scientists monitoring it closely. When they heard the team entering the lab, the men turned to the team.

"Ah, Captain Price. About time you arrived," the man in the tuxedo said.

"There was a little traffic on our way here, sir," Price said.

"Typical army excuse. Anyway, allow me to introduce ourselves. I'm James Lester, administrator of this facility. This is Colonel Alan Mace from the UNIT and the man next to him Nick Cutter, my head researcher," Lester said introducing himself and his colleagues.

"It's an honor to meet you all," Jason said.

"Likewise, Connor. The UNIT still owes you a lot for destroying the Zygons in the middle east," Colonel Mace said.

"But it was still very difficult to cover up the nuclear explosion you caused in the middle east. It almost caused an all-out war with every nation in the middle east," Lester added.

"I did what I had to. I smuggled the bomb into the Zygon hive and got out right before the hive exploded into nothing along with the Zygons," Jason reminded.

"But not before you encountered that Bonnie Zygon who impersonated Clara Oswald," Lester said.

"Yes, sir. I had a little chat with her before I shot a grenade into her stomach and blew her to bits," Jason said making Lester turn pale.

"Did you really have to say that little detail?" Lester asked as he didn't feel so good.

"I think we're getting off of the topic," Nick Cutter said.

"Oh, right. Please, follow me," Lester said after he started feeling better.

Everyone nodded and followed him until they were in front of the device the scientists were finishing.

"What is that thing?" Gaz asked.

"That 'thing' as you call it is an interdimensional transport device that creates an artificial anomaly that can take people to other realms," Cutter explained.

Most of the team didn't quite get what Cutter told them but they did get what he meant when he said other realms. But it was still hard to believe that such a thing was even possible but the team still had no idea why they were summoned to the facility in the first place.

"This really is impressive work but why did you call us here?" Price asked.

"We have already tested the device and decided to send a team," Mace said.

"You mean us, sir?" Jason asked.

"You saved the world from total war, you're one of the best teams we have," Mace said.

"But I don't think going to other universes is our specialty," Griggs said.

"While it's true what you say, other teams are currently unavailable," Mace said.

"And it is like the colonel said, you are the best," Lester added.

The team looked at each other and thought about what they were being offered. It did sound exciting to go to another realm and it did interest them to see what was on the other side. But they also thought that would it be safe for them to go or if they would ever come back. It was risky but someone had to do it and who else than the best team of both SAS and USMC soldiers. They stayed quiet until Soap spoke first.

"Well, I guess there's the first time for everything," Soap said.

"Does that mean you accept the mission?" Mace asked.

"Only if you assure us that it's not a one-way trip," Price said.

"Don't worry, captain. We have worked on the way for you and your team to go in and then come back," Cutter said.

"In that case, we accept the mission," Price said.

"Excellent, captain. We'll begin the preparations immediately," Lester said before leaving the lab to his office.

While everyone started to prepare for their mission, Jason couldn't help but think about what they were getting themselves into.

"Why do I get a feeling that this mission won't be like any we have been through," Jason thought.

A few days later

It took a lot of time but eventually, everything was finally ready. The transport device was fully operational and the team was geared up and ready to go. They were currently in the hall where the scientists and technicians were preparing the device while the team waited for Jason to arrive.

"Where is that kid? He should have been here five minutes ago," Price said.

"Cut him some slack, sir. This is his first mission with us," Gaz said.

"Yeah, go easy on him, man," Griggs agreed.

"I don't remember the captain going easy on me when I joined the team," Soap added.

"Knock it off, men. I'm patient when we're on the field but I expect my men to be ready to deploy when the mission starts," Price said.

His men were about to say something until they heard someone coming in. They turned and saw Jason in his gear and ready to go. He was dressed in a regular SAS combat outfit with his head covered in balaclava, goggles, and hood (SAS LMG class outfit from CoD 4 MW Remastered). When the team took a look at Jason's weapons, they noticed that he was armed with a G36C assault rifle (with a G36E carrying handle, Surefire tactical light, and green laser sight) and had a Desert Eagle pistol (Mark VII with nickel finish) as his sidearm.

"Wow. That's some hardware you got there, kid" Gaz said.

"I just like to be prepared. Besides, I like these guns even though P90 is my personal favorite," Jason said.

"Nice, man," Griggs said.

"If you're done with admiring your guns, we've got to go now," Price said.

Everyone nodded and walked to the device where the technicians have already opened the anomaly for the team to go through. The team looked at the anomaly and it looked like a floating swarm of pieces of mirror that we're sparkling. It was a beautiful sight but they weren't quite sure if going through it was a good idea but the scientists assured them that it was perfectly safe to go through it.

With everything ready to go, Colonel Mace walked to the team and gave them a small device that looked like a mobile phone.

"What's this?" Price asked.

"Just something our engineers developed. It sends a signal that allows us to open the anomaly at your location," Mace explained.

"I'm just an officer who gives orders to his men on the battlefield. I'm not an egghead," Price said.

"I know how to use it, sir," Jason said.

"I never thought you were a smart guy, Connor," Price said.

"Let's just say that I have both brains and muscles," Jason said.

"That's a deadly combination, sir. I know from experience," Soap said.

"I can back up that," Griggs agreed.

"In that case, Connor shall keep this thing and use it when we need it," Price said as he gave Jason the device.

"I just hope it works when we decide to come back," Jason said as he put the device in his vest.

After that, they waited until the colonel gave them a signal and they walked through the anomaly. Once they made it to the other side, they spread out and secured the area they were in. After that, they took a look around at the land they were currently standing on.

The area around them was full of mountains, some sand, there was also some mountain vegetation. But it was also very hot because the sun was shining brightly in the sky. Once the area was secure, the team decided to move and scout the area.

"Damn it's hot," Soap complained.

"I chased Al-Asad all over the middle east a year ago. Now that's when it's so hot that you sweat," Griggs said.

"I don't know about you but this place gives me the creeps," Gaz said.

"This is another realm. Of course, it gives the creeps," Price said.

"But we still took the mission regardless of the dangers, right?" Soap asked.

"This is my first mission with you guys but I can tell that these missions are kind of your thing," Jason said.

"And now it's yours as well," Price said as he tapped Jason's shoulder.

They were about to move out until they suddenly heard someone screaming from the distance.

"What the hell was that?" Soap asked.

"It sounded like a woman's screaming," Jason said.

"A woman? Here in the middle of nowhere?" Griggs asked.

"To me, it sounded like she's in trouble," Gaz said.

"Whoever it is, she needs our help. We might also pick up some intel from her," Price said.

"Just try to be gentle in this one, sir. No need to scare civilians," Gaz advised.

"Noted. Let's move out!" Price ordered.

Everyone nodded and they started moving towards the source of the scream. It took a few minutes until they arrived at the area where the scream came from. They went down and carefully crawled on the ground until they had a visual of the source of the scream. It was indeed a woman dressed in a robe and hood but what caught their attention was that she was being chased by several horsemen who were dressed in animal skins and were armed with hook-like swords.

The team didn't need to be geniuses to realize what was going on. But whatever they were gonna do, they had to do it fast.

"Well, I guess we ended up in the medieval world," Griggs joked.

"Why do I get a feeling that you always wanted to shoot medieval knights and horsemen?" Jason asked Griggs.

"Well, there aren't almost at all movies or video games where modern soldiers fight medieval armies," Griggs said.

"Focus. Griggs, you give us from here while the rest of us charge and rescue the woman," Price instructed.

"Understood," Griggs said as he went into firing position.

After that, most of the team took the safeties off of their guns and charged while Griggs stayed on the rock. The woman kept running for her life but she was beginning to lose her strength. She was able to run for a few more seconds before she couldn't run anymore and fell. She could hear the Dothraki getting closer and closer until they suddenly stopped.

She turned and saw the Dothraki leader come off of his horse and walking towards her as he began to take off his skin trousers.

"Please, don't," the woman begged in Valyrian.

"I'm going to fuck you till the next morning," the leader said in Dothraki.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang and the bullet went right through his head killing him instantly. The Dothraki turned and saw Jason and his team aiming their guns at them. The Dothraki reacted by mounting on their horses, raising their swords, and charging at the team. Jason and the others switched from semi-auto to full-auto and opened fire at the charging Dothraki warriors while Griggs gave the team cover fire with his light machine gun (M249 SAW).

The Dothraki had greater numbers but they were killed one by one in the rain of bullets that pierced their chests and horses. The fight went on until every Dothraki along with their horses were dead. When the area was clear, the team lowered their weapons and approached the woman who was still on the ground covering her face in fear.

"I guess it's time to get some answers," Price said.

"We can't just start questioning her, sir. She's afraid," Jason disagreed.

"Then how do we get the intel. I mean if she knows anything," Gaz asked.

"Let me talk to her," Jason requested.

Price looked at his men for a moment before he nodded. Jason then turned to the woman who was still frightened but she didn't run because she didn't have the strength to do so. Jason gently approached her until he was close to her but not enough to frighten her further.

"Look, I know you're scared but we're not gonna hurt you. I promise," Jason said.

"You killed those men," the woman said in the common tongue.

"We did it to save you. We couldn't just let them rape you," Jason said.

The woman started to feel a little safer so she moved her hands from her face and revealed herself to Jason. But what took him by surprise was that the woman wasn't human, she was a humanoid fox with blue fur and blue eyes (Krystal from Star Fox).

"Uh, hi. My name is Jason. What's your name?" Jason asked after introducing himself.

"Krystal," the woman said.

"I know we just met but why were those men chasing you?" Jason asked.

"I'm a slave. I escaped before the merchants could sell me. But shortly after I escaped, I ran into the Dothraki who wanted to rape me," Krystal explained.

Jason and his team felt great sympathy for her even though some members like Price didn't show it but felt it in their hearts.

"Oh great. That kid is gonna make the old me soft," Price thought.

But they were suddenly interrupted when they heard people running towards them. They turned around and saw men dressed in black warrior outfits and helmets armed with spears and shields.

"Who the hell are those guys?!" Soap asked.

"The Unsullied! They must have followed the Dothraki," Krystal said.

"Protect the civilian! Focus fire!" Price ordered.

Everyone nodded and opened fire at the charging Unsullied while Krystal hid behind Jason. Even though the team was killing several Unsullied with their guns, the eunuch warriors kept charging towards them with their spears.

"They're getting closer!" Jason said while firing his assault rifle.

"Keep firing!" Price ordered.

"We can't hold our position for long!" Gaz said.

While the team was holding back the Unsullied, Krystal looked at the rocks and noticed that they could give them a chance.

"The rocks! We must go to the rocks!" Krystal said.

"What?! They'll catch us if we head to the rocks!" Soap disagreed.

"No, she's right! We stand a better chance on the higher ground!" Jason said as he reloaded his assault rifle.

"The kid and the girl have a point! Retreat to the rocks and fire!" Price ordered.

Everyone nodded and ran to the rocks while shooting at the Unsullied. When they realized their plan, the Unsullied started heading to the rocks as well even though it was difficult with the team's constant fire at them. Jason, Krystal, and the team kept climbing on the rocks with the Unsullied behind them but the further they tried to get away, the harder it was getting to escape the Unsullied despite them falling like flies in the gunfire.

"Damn! They just keep coming," Gaz said.

"The Unsullied don't give up easily. They're trained to push on no matter what," Krystal told the team.

"We're out of options. We must send the signal," Price said.

"But the rookie can send the signal, right?" Soap asked.

"I know how to send it but I'm not sure this is a good place to do it," Jason said as he killed another Unsullied.

"As I said, we're out of options. That emergency signal is our best chance of getting out of here," Price said.

"Yes, sir," Jason said as he took the device from his vest.

He pressed a few buttons first before the device started sending the emergency signal. But right after he did it, one of the Unsullied jumped on him. Jason fell to the ground and the Unsullied raised his spear ready to kill Jason with it. The Unsullied pushed his spear at Jason who reacted by quickly pushing the spear aside. Then he quickly took his pistol from the holster and fired a few shots at the Unsullied's chest killing him instantly.

The dead soldier's corpse fell on top of Jason who pushed it aside, got up, and joined the others. Soon after that, the anomaly opened behind them giving a way out.

"The anomaly is open. Let's move!" Price ordered.

Everyone quickly ran through the anomaly and it closed right before the Unsullied could catch up with them. After the anomaly closed, the Unsullied stood there wondering what just happened snd what magic the strangers used to get away with the slave.

Meanwhile in the facility

After the team got through, the technicians closed the anomaly and shut down the transport device. Colonel Mace along with Lester and Cutter then ran to the hall to see the team.

"What happened? You sent the emergency signal," Mace asked.

"Nothing serious, sir. Just some wild horsemen and tough spearmen," Gaz joked.

"Excuse me? Did you just say wild horsemen and tough specimen?" Lester asked.

"That's what he just said," Soap confirmed.

But before they could ask more questions, their attention was soon turned to Krystal who was looking at the facility in amazement.

"Who is this?" Mace asked.

"Oh, right. This is Krystal. We saved her from the hostile troops we encountered," Jason said.

"Not to be rude but what species she is? Is she some kind of humanoid fox?" Cutter asked.

"Uh, my race has many names but we're mostly known as fox people," Krystal explained.

While Nick Cutter was fascinated by the new "discovery", Lester wasn't very happy about it.

"Need to remind you that this is a research facility, not a zoo," Lester said upsetting Krystal.

"Hey! I'm not some animal to be caged! Just because different doesn't mean that you can treat me like garbage!" Krystal yelled making Lester take a few steps back.

"Whoa! Calm down, Krystal. I'm sure Administrator Lester didn't mean to offend you," Jason said.

After that, Krystal calmed down to Lester's relief.

"Forgive me, ma'am. But we have some questions regarding the world where our team found you," Mace said.

"Of course, sir. I will answer all the questions as best as I can," Krystal said.

The colonel nodded before he, Lester, and Cutter escorted Krystal, Jason, and the rest of the team to the meeting room where they could discuss everything that occurred during the mission. While everyone was talking in the meeting room, Lester couldn't help but think about a new turn of events.

"This is not what I get paid for," Lester thought.

Several days later

It took hours but Krystal was able to explain everything she knew. Including the fact that the land they encountered the Dothraki and Unsullied was Essos. She also told them about their ruler, Queen Daenerys, the last Targaryen in the world. What Jason and the others learned about Daenerys from Krystal made them concerned, especially the fact that she possessed three dragons and that she was aiming for world domination and was willing to do anything to achieve it.

Once they learned everything they could from Krystal, Lester contacted the British government who then turned to the United Nations regarding the matter. It took a few days but it was decided that the UNIT and ARC will build a military/research base in the realm Jason's team visited. The scientists' job was to explore that realm and conduct research while the military was responsible for the security and safety of the civilian personnel.

The plan was to get the base finished quickly without the risk of being attacked during the construction. So they build everything they needed in London and then used the anomaly to transport them to another realm where the construction of the base lasted only for a day. It was like putting the pieces together on the board.

The base was located in the Dothraki Sea on the continent known as Essos. It was a beautiful land with hills and fields around the base for kilometers but they had to be on constant guard because they were in the Dothraki territory and they didn't like trespassers or strangers staying on their lands. There was also this Daenerys along with Lannisters and other royalties that they had to worry about. From what they heard from Krystal, it seemed that all these factions were fighting each other for power and the right to rule all seven kingdoms. The people of the base didn't have any plans of getting involved in this conflict but it was only a matter of time before they too would be dragged into this war.

After Jason finished setting up the defenses around the base, he returned to his private quarters to get some rest. When he was about to go to bed, someone knocked on his door. He let out a sigh before he walked to the door and opened it. But to his surprise, it was Krystal in her regular clothes.

Jason was absolutely stunned by Krystal's beauty. Never in his life has he seen someone so beautiful. Even though Krystal wasn't human, she was still so delightful that Jason would burn up the entire country just to be with her.

Krystal noticed Jason's sudden change and tapped his shoulder a few times.

"Uh, Jason. Are you alright?" Krystal asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine. Just a little tired," Jason said.

"I know. It's been a hard day after all," Krystal said with a smile.

"Not to be rude or anything but why are you here?" Jason asked.

"I couldn't sleep alone in my quarters so I thought that maybe I'll fall to sleep better if I'm someone. If you don't mind," Krystal said shyly.

"No, it's okay. You can sleep here if you want," Jason said making Krystal smile.

"Thank you, Jason. You're so kind," Krystal said.

After that, Krystal entered Jason's room and he closed the door behind them. Then they both went to Jason's bed, both of them taking their side in the bed. While Jason was sleeping, he didn't notice Krystal gently moved to his side and put her head on his chest. Krystal smiled in her sleep as she felt the warmth of the man who saved her life.

"Thank you, Jason. You saved my life. I promise I will make it up to you somehow," Krystal thought before sleep claimed her.

Meanwhile in Meereen

Daenerys was not pleased and for understandable reasons. Shortly after she "freed" the city of Meereen and took over as its queen, she received word that her Dothraki troops along with the Unsullied were killed during their hunt for her enemies. They were after a former slave who spied on Daenerys but it was still unknown who the spy was working for.

The Unsullied who survived and came back alive told Daenerys that they encountered strangers who had strange and yet powerful weapons that killed the Dothraki squad and most of the Unsullied who hunted the spy. But the most interesting part was that the strangers disappeared into what looked like floating glowing mirrors that vanished shortly after the strangers and the spy got through.

Daenerys didn't know what magic this was or what the strangers wanted but she was determined to find out.

"Whoever those strangers were, they will pay dearly for opposing me," Daenerys thought.
