Four days went by since Naruto brought Karin back to Konoha and she was quickly hounded by all the teenagers in the village. While she was thankful for the attention, she honestly didn't want to get involved with anybody since she was still new and they were basically perverts. She was introduced to Ino and Sakura who immediately took a liking to her. Ino because Karin loved to shop just as much as she did and Sakura because Karin had some knowledge on medical ninjutsu. Currently Naruto was in bed sleeping, but that was about to change.
"Wake up, Naruto." Tayuya said as she started to massage his shoulders
"10 more minutes." Naruto groaned
"I want to make you breakfast." Tayuya said
"Then make it twenty minutes." Naruto said
"What's that supposed to mean?" Tayuya asked
"Nothing. Why are you waking me up so early?" Naruto asked
"It's parent day." Tayuya said
"I know that. Why are you waking me up at 9 in the morning? Granny Tsunade doesn't want to meet up until noon." Naruto said
"I figured we could have some fun. I didn't get naked for nothing." Tayuya said and Naruto moved his hand then felt her bare chest
"Hanabi and her friends made me play with them until 3 in the morning. Just let me sleep." Naruto said
"No. Atleast eat breakfast and then go back to sleep." Tayuya said and Naruto sighed
"Fine. I'll eat breakfast." Naruto said
"Great. Get up." Tayuya said
"I have my breakfast right here." Naruto said and rolled onto his back to face Tayuya
"You nasty little fucker." Tayuya said
"That is why you got naked, isn't it?" Naruto asked and she nodded
"Yeah, but I figured we'd do that after an actual breakfast." Tayuya said
"Alright. What's going on? You never get naked in the morning and you don't cook breakfast." Naruto said and she sighed
"That obvious?" Tayuya asked
"Yeah. What's wrong?" Naruto asked
"You've been neglecting me the past four days. How are you on vacation now and I barely see you? Wake up, you go train. After you train, you're out with Anko and Kurenai. After that, you're with Hanabi until 3 in the morning. Then today you're going out with Tsunade all day. When do I get some fucking time with my boyfriend?!" Tayuya asked
"I'm sorry. After today we'll be together until vacation is over. Is that okay with you?" Naruto asked
"It would be, but I already made plans with Karin, Ino and Sakura for the next few days." Tayuya said
"Then what was the point of this if you're not available for a few days?" Naruto asked
"To make you aware of the situation!" Tayuya said
"I'm aware. Now calm down." Naruto said
"Bad choice of words." Kurama said
"I am calm!" Tayuya said and went on a rant which Naruto just ignored
"Do you think we're able to pull off a full tailed beast transformation?" Naruto thought
"We can, but I want you to train with the toads first in the use of senjutsu." Kurama said
"Why?" Naruto thought
"How do you think I can regenerate my chakra? I require nature chakra and instead of the tiny bits I've been absorbing over the years to replenish my chakra, I'd have to gather a large amount. I've been gathering minuscule amounts so you wouldn't have any of the negative effects. If I were to gather a large amount right after the full tailed beast transformation, I'd be stuck inside of you forever since you'd turn to stone." Kurama said
"I definitely don't want that to happen." Naruto thought
"You should talk to the toads and figure out why they haven't started your sage training yet. You're more than ready to learn it." Kurama said
"Then why don't you just teach me?" Naruto thought
"I'm already training you on properly using my chakra and how to make a tailed beast bomb. Don't push it." Kurama said
"Wouldn't my body be a bit used to nature chakra by now?" Naruto thought
"It's possible, but you should still learn from the toads. Given the way the perv uses sage mode, they'll be teaching you something else as well." Kurama said
"Now that you mention it, his taijutsu did change when we fought after he used sage mode. He switched to an entirely different style of fighting." Naruto thought
"Yes. Normally you would be able to defeat him in sage mode thanks to the time limit and his use of it." Kurama said
"How so?" Naruto thought
"Sage mode usually has a time limit to it, but with the perv, he's using the toads on his shoulders to constantly gather chakra for him. As long as those toads are on his shoulders, he can essentially use sage mode as long as he wants to. Without those toads, you would be able to defeat him. His sage mode is incomplete based on how his features change." Kurama said
"So that's not how sage mode is supposed to look?" Naruto thought
"No. A perfect sage will have pigmentation around its eyes and toad-like eyes." Kurama said
"What if he went and perfected sage mode? Would I be able to win?" Naruto thought
"Yes. Even now with your nine tails chakra mode you should be able to defeat him even if he uses sage mode. Before you had to rely on the seven heavenly breaths to match him, but now you have the seven heavenly breaths as well as my chakra to use without the negative side effects. Once you master sage mode, I'll have something else to teach you." Kurama said
"So, I should start calling you Kurama-sensei then." Naruto thought
"Don't even think about it. Your mate is still going on her rant and she seems about to finish. It would be best if you paid attention." Kurama said
"I guess you're right." Naruto thought and only caught the last part of what Tayuya was saying
"DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND ME?" Tayuya yelled
"Sure." Naruto said and she narrowed her eyes
"What did I say?" Tayuya asked
"Something about removing my junk with a kunai and hanging it on the wall." Naruto said
"Lucky guess. I know you weren't paying attention to me. Look, Naruto. I'm..."
"Hold on a second." Naruto said and closed his eyes
"Fuck that! Why do I have to..."
"Tayuya, please! Just shut up for a second! Somethings wrong." Naruto said and quickly put some clothes on
"What do you mean?" Tayuya asked
"Hanabi's chakra signature is headed towards the border of the sound village." Naruto said
"For a clan with all seeing eyes, they sure do get kidnapped a lot." Tayuya said
"Not the time." Naruto said and vanished
Konoha-sound boarder
"Hey! Let me go!" Hanabi said, as she was struggling with her restraints
"Quiet you little shit!" The sound ninja said
"If you know what's best for you, you'd put me down this instant!" Hanabi said
"Shut up! My master Kabuto has plans for the Byakugan. Your kekkei genkai is one of the most sought out kekkei genkai known to man. Kumo failed to get your sister 13 years ago, but I won't." The sound ninja said and then a golden streak went past him
"You should've listened to me." Hanabi said
"Who's there?!" The sound ninja asked and then Naruto spoke up
"You picked the wrong kid to kidnap." Naruto said, as his voice was seemingly everywhere and then Hanabi was gone from his shoulder
"What?! Stop hiding like a coward! Give me back my trophy!" The sound ninja said and pulled out a kunai
Rising Moon Barrage
Naruto kicked the sound ninja up into the air, then used powerful kicks and punches on him to keep him dazed. The fury of strikes ended with a bone crushing axe kick that knocked the sound ninja back on to the ground. As the sound ninja was laying on the ground dazed and in pain, Naruto jumped high into the air and prepared to finish off his attack. Naruto gathered chakra into his hand and killed the sound ninja with a massive rasengan that was enhanced by his nine tails chakra mode. Naruto went to where he placed Hanabi and took off her restraints.
"You alright?" Naruto asked and she nodded
"Yeah. I don't get it. I haven't done anything wrong lately, but I was kidnapped. I was just getting ready to go to the orphanage." Hanabi said and started to cry so Naruto gave her a hug
"No. This is bigger than you doing something wrong to somebody." Naruto said
"Why would he want my Byakugan though?" Hanabi asked
"Well, he's dead so he's not getting it anymore." Naruto said
"Not him. That sound ninja said his master Kabuto wanted my Byakugan." Hanabi said
"You sure he said Kabuto?" Naruto asked
"Yeah. Who is he?" Hanabi asked
"He works for Orochimaru. I've beaten him numerous times already, but he keeps getting away before I can take him out." Naruto said
"Almost used the seal had you not showed up." Hanabi said and more tears started to fall
"Then I guess it's a good thing that I showed up." Naruto said
"Can you take me back? I don't want to be here anymore." Hanabi said
"Sure." Naruto said and Hanabi climbed on his back
"This was a set up." Kurama said
"What makes you say that?" Naruto thought
"You've been pranking the Hyuga clan basically your entire life as did Tayuya when she joined the village. There shouldn't even be a small gap in the Hyuga security to the point where a fly could not get in without being seen. This was an inside job." Kurama said
"Now that you say that, it does make sense. Her routine is the same everyday and the only person that's with her is her personal guard." Naruto thought
"Hanabi, where were you kidnapped?" Naruto asked
"I was knocked out when my guard was taking me to the orphanage. I woke up being carried by that ninja." Hanabi said
"You might want to check that guard of hers. Sounds like a traitor if you ask me." Kurama said
"What gives, Kurama? It's not like you to help humans." Naruto thought
"I only help those really important to you. The list isn't that long so I'm fine with that." Kurama said
"I guess that makes sense." Naruto thought
"I have an idea. Make Hanabi your student." Kurama said
"Nope. That would make me a jonin sensei and I don't want that. It would mean Konohamaru and his friend pestering me even more for training." Naruto thought
"Train her in secret or take her on as a solo genin. You can make a barrier that keeps people from seeing you train her if you can make one that keeps the Byakugan from seeing through it." Kurama said
"I'll ask her later." Naruto thought
Konoha-Tsunade's office
"Lady Tsunade, this is the second time one of my daughters has been kidnapped. I want to know how this is possible." Hiashi said
"Like I said, Hiashi. I don't know how this keeps happening. I know the Hyuga clan has one of if not the best secured compound in the village thanks to Naruto and his pranking. Are you sure it's not an inside job?" Tsunade asked
"The Hyuga clan does not betray their own." Hiashi said
"I've already sent out a search party for her and amongst them are some Hyuga clan members as well as some Inuzuka clan members." Tsunade said
"You can call off the search party." Jiraiya said, as he appeared in the room
"Jiraiya? What do you mean?" Tsunade asked
"Naruto found her. The spy toads around the village and forest spotted him leaving towards the way her scent went. He's on his way back now." Jiraiya said
"Thank goodness." Tsunade said
"How did Naruto know where to find her?" Hiashi asked
"Naruto's sensing ability can stretch for miles and it's always on high alert. He must've sensed her chakra signature leaving the village with an unknown chakra signature." Jiraiya said
"I suppose the Hyuga clan is in his debt once again." Hiashi said and then there was a knock on the door
"Come in!" Tsunade said
"Lady Tsunade, Sakura and Tayuya are here." Shizune said
"Right on time. I actually have news that is important to Tsunade and now we just need Naruto to show up." Jiraiya said
"He's not at home. Only Tayuya was there when I went to get her for our daily rounds." Sakura said
"He had something important to do." Tayuya said and then the man of the hour appeared in the room
"Yo." Naruto said and Hanabi climbed off his back
"That's all you have to say after what's going on?" Tsunade asked
"I mean I could leave and try it again if you'd like." Naruto said
"That won't be necessary. I must thank you again, Naruto. Thank you for returning my daughter." Hiashi said
"No problem. Got her back safe and sound." Naruto said and Hanabi flinched
"Please don't say the word sound." Hanabi said
"Oh. Right." Naruto said
"What's going on?" Hiashi asked
"She was kidnapped by a sound ninja." Naruto said
"How did a sound ninja manage to get into the village undetected? More importantly how did the sound ninja get in the Hyuga compound?" Hiashi asked
"She wasn't kidnapped in the Hyuga compound. She was taken while she was out of the compound." Naruto said
"Why were you not with your personal guard?" Hiashi asked
"I-I was. He was taking me to the orphanage to play and then I was knocked out." Hanabi said
"What were you doing going to the orphanage?" Hiashi asked
"I was going to play with my friends." Hanabi said
"I see." Hiashi said
"Where is her guard?" Naruto asked
"He's back at the compound." Hiashi said
"If I were you, I'd take him to Inoichi. The only person that knew where Hanabi was going and her routine was her guard. I think her guard set her up." Naruto said
"That's impossible." Hiashi said
"It was also impossible for Sakura to not get a date, but she did although it ended in disaster." Tayuya said
"This isn't about me!" Sakura said
"Lady Tsunade, Lord Jiraya, what do you think?" Hiashi asked
"I'd listen to him. I did train him to look at things thoroughly while we were gone and he's already had a habit of figuring things out when he puts his mind to it." Jiraiya said
"Very well. Naruto, once again I thank you for your help. If you need anything, do not hesitate to ask." Hiashi said
"Actually, there is something." Naruto said
"What is it?" Hiashi asked
"This is for both Tsunade and you. I want to take over Hanabi's training and become her jonin sensei." Naruto said and Hanabi's eyes widened
"You want to have a team?" Tsunade asked
"No. I want to train Hanabi and that's it." Naruto said
"The only way you can take her on is if she's your apprentice. Which you can't do until you become a sage for the toad clan." Tsunade said
"She's right. Since you're my apprentice, I'd have to run it by the toads and get their approval." Jiraiya said
"What if she wasn't my apprentice to become the next toad summoner and something else?" Naruto asked
"Then you'd have to have two summoning contracts." Tsunade said and Naruto smirked
"You have two summoning contracts, don't you?" Jiraiya asked
"Yup. I did the summoning jutsu without using blood and I got another contract during our training trip." Naruto said
"Alright. Show me." Tsunade said
"What's the magic word?" Naruto asked
"Show me now and I won't send you to the moon." Tsunade said
"Fine. Grumpy old lady." Naruto mumbled and Tsunade's eye twitched
Summoning jutsu
Out of the smoke came a 3 tailed fox with dark fur and a white patch around its left eye. It's eyes were silver with a black slit pupil and it was almost as tall as Hanabi.
"What do you want, Naruto? I was in the middle of eating." The fox said
"This is Shadow. He's a spy fox for the fox contract. I had to show them my second contract since I'm getting an apprentice soon." Naruto said
"I see. Who is the apprentice we should be expecting?" Shadow asked and Naruto put his hand on Hanabi's shoulder
"This is Hanabi. I'm hoping to take her on as an apprentice and pass on the fox contract to her." Naruto said and Shadow sniffed her
"Hm. She seems to have the scent of one of our fox kits already on her." Shadow said and everyone looked at her
"What?" Hanabi asked
"You've been playing with a fox?" Naruto asked
"No." Hanabi said
"I can tell you're lying." Naruto said
"Okay fine. I was. I met the fox in the forest one day playing hide and seek. I gave it some berries and it keeps coming back." Hanabi said
"What did the kit look like?" Shadow asked
"Grey fur, blue eyes and a white patch on its chest." Hanabi said
"She was the youngest of a recent litter of foxes. Not many can find her when she wanders off and now we know why. If you deem her worthy of the contract then I'm sure Lady Katsumi would not mind." Shadow said and went up in smoke
"Why didn't you tell me you had a second contract?" Jiraiya asked
"You didn't ask." Naruto said
"Smartass." Jiraiya said and Naruto shrugged
"What about Konohamaru? I thought you'd want to become his jonin sensei." Tsunade said
"Nope. Ebisu can take him and his two little friends. I highly doubt I can deal with somebody who was like me when I became a genin. Tayuya is a handful as is." Naruto said and Tayuya nodded
"Ain't that the truth." Tayuya said
"The choice is yours, Hiashi. I have no problem with it." Tsunade said
"Very well. Although it is against clan policy, I will allow you to train her. However, her taijutsu training must be done at the dojo in the Hyuga compound." Hiashi said
"Hanabi?" Naruto asked
"Yes!" Hanabi said and gave him a hug
"Then it's settled. You're my apprentice when you graduate." Naruto said
"Cool." Hanabi said
"Wait! If he has to train her at the dojo, then I'm coming with him. I don't trust the quiet stalker around my man." Tayuya said
"Who?" Hiashi asked
"She's talking about Hinata. She follows Naruto around the village a lot and has a super huge crush on him even though he has a girlfriend." Hanabi said
"Please don't cause any problems." Hiashi said
"I'll try my best." Tayuya said and smiled
"I'll keep her in check." Naruto said
"Very well. Come along, Hanabi. Let's leave them to their meeting." Hiashi said and left with Hanabi
"We have a meeting?" Naruto asked
"I thought I was just coming to do my daily hospital rounds. Not some damn meeting." Tayuya said
"You are, but Jiraiya needs to tell us something." Tsunade said
"Spit it out, Pervert. I don't have all day." Tayuya said
"Aren't you on vacation still?" Sakura asked
"Nobody asked you, Pinky!" Tayuya said
"Relax, Tayuya. What's the big meeting about, Pervy-Sage?" Naruto asked and his eye twitched
"What is it, Jiraiya?" Tsunade asked
"Orochimaru is dead." Jiraiya said and Tayuya interrupted him
"OH HELL YEAH. FUCK YES. FUCK THAT SNAKE FACE COCK SUCKING SON OF A BITCH." Tayuya yelled, as she celebrated
"Anyway, it's been reported that Sasuke Uchiha killed him." Jiraiya said
"Are you sure?" Tsunade asked
"Yeah. That's the story my spy network heard. We believe it's true. It comes from a reliable source." Jiraiya said
"Then that means what exactly?" Sakura asked
"It means nothing." Naruto said
"He's right. Orochimaru is dead, but somebody else may take over." Tsunade said
"It's Kabuto who took over. He was who Hanabi was going to be handed to. Apparently he wanted the Byakugan." Naruto said
"Needledick took over? It's not surprising now that I think about it. He was always kissing Orochimaru's ass and bragging about how he was his second in command." Tayuya said
"I still can't believe Sasuke was able to kill Orochimaru though. From the way the fight went with Naruto and him, Sasuke wouldn't stand a chance." Tsunade said
"Orochimaru was weakened. His body was giving out on him. It's been close to three years and his body is rejecting him now." Tayuya said
"How do you know?" Tsunade asked
"I've been around him for two of his body switches. Three years is the limit to his jutsu and it's been close to three years since he last switched. Essentially, he was dying." Tayuya said
"Should we go after Sasuke then?" Sakura asked
"We could." Tsunade said
"No. That's something that will have to wait." Jiraiya said
"Why?" Tsunade asked
"He's not important to us right now. He's no longer in Orochimaru's hands so that's a good thing. His next move is to go after Itachi and kill him. We need to focus on the akatsuki for now. We can worry about Sasuke later." Jiraiya said
"We still have Orochimaru to worry about as well." Naruto said
"How? He's dead." Sakura said
"No, he isn't. Remember when I removed the curse mark from Tayuya and Anko?" Naruto asked
"Shit he's right." Jiraiya said
"What do you mean?" Tayuya asked
"As long as people with the curse mark are around, Orochimaru is still alive. When I removed the curse mark, Orochimaru came from the seal and we nearly had to deal with two Orochimaru's if we hadn't killed him. He puts a small portion of his soul into the seal and if the wrong person uses the seal, Orochimaru can be reborn essentially." Naruto said
"Well that fucking sucks. He's got a lot of people with the curse mark in the sound village." Tayuya said
"Exactly. The bastard was prepared for anything." Naruto said
"We need to know who the people with the curse mark are. We can go and take them out." Sakura said
"We can't. That's going to start a war against people who haven't done anything to us. With the entire Danzo situation, we can't afford to do anything like that right now." Tsunade said
"What if we go after Itachi? We can capture him and lure Sasuke in. That's taking out two rogue ninjas easily." Sakur said
"Wow. That's the worst fucking idea I've ever heard. The only people in this village who stand a chance at capturing Itachi are Naruto, Tsunade and the perv. It's not an easy task." Tayuya said
"Yeah and I really have no reason to go after Itachi. He hasn't done anything to me." Naruto said
"Didn't he try to capture you?" Sakura asked
"Not really. If Itachi wanted to capture me he could've done so before granny Tsunade took over as hokage. When he came to me when we were looking for her, it was more like he was letting it be known that he could take me if wanted to. The only akatsuki members I need to worry about are the leader who wears a mask, the puppet leader and Kisame." Naruto said
"We can worry about that later. Jiraiya, you go figure out whatever you can on the akatsuki, Sakura and Tayuya, you have your hospital rounds. Naruto, you're with me for the rest of the day." Tsunade said
"What are we going to do?" Naruto asked
"Let's just see where the day takes us. I have a surprise for you later on though." Tsunade said
"Alright." Naruto said
"I'll see you back at home." Tayuya said and kissed him before leaving with Sakura
"I'm going to do some more research on the akatsuki and see what else I can find out." Jiraiya said and left
"Well, let's go." Tsunade said and they walked out of the office
Later that night
Naruto and Tsunade were the talk of the village today since everyone knew how close they were. Civilians were in shock the most because their hokage was walking around the village amongst them with Naruto like she was his actual mother. While she was pretty important in the village and everyone wanted to greet her, nobody wanted to disturb her day out of the office.
Tsunade and Naruto did everything they possibly could together in the village. They ate at almost every spot they could find and played games at each of the vendors that were set up around the village. They ran into Kurenai and Asuma who were out looking for baby supplies to get ready for Kurenai's birth even though she's only 2 months pregnant. The moment of the night was when Naruto and Tsunade shared a dance which was awkward since neither of them could dance, but that didn't matter to them. All that mattered to them was that they had fun and that's what they did.
"So, how was today?" Tsunade asked, as they were relaxing in her office
"It was fun. Is that what parents do with their kids everyday?" Naruto asked
"Yeah. I remember my grandfather and grandmother playing with me a lot when I was a kid. I just tried to follow in their footsteps tonight to make sure the day was special." Tsunade said
"You probably could've done anything and I still would've had fun. I really just wanted to at least spend a day with you. You're always in the office and I was with Pervy-Sage for nearly three years. It's only fair that I spent the day with you." Naruto said and she smiled
"I'm glad you had fun today." Tsunade said
"Yeah. I better get home. I don't want Tayuya to come looking for me. It's already past midnight." Naruto said
"Just one second. I have something for you." Tsunade said and gave him an envelope
"What is it?" Naruto asked
"Open it and read it." Tsunade said and Naruto read it
"I-Is this foreal?" Naruto asked
"Yes. You were still listed in the orphanage for some reason and I've never had a son. You've become the child I never had and I know I'm your godmother, but I thought it would be better if you were to call me mom instead." Tsunade said and Naruto gave her a big hug
"Thank you so much." Naruto said and she hugged him back
"You're welcome." Tsunade said
"I guess I can't call you granny Tsunade anymore." Naruto said
"That was a small reason why I did it. Now, get out of here. Tayuya is waiting for you." Tsunade said and gave him a kiss on the forehead
"I will. Thanks for tonight. I had fun, mom." Naruto said and walked out with a big smile on his face
Naruto's apartment
"I'm home!" Naruto announced
"Come sit." Tayuya said and Naruto sat next to her
"So, what's up?" Naruto asked
"You tell me. You're the talk of the village tonight." Tayuya said
"Oh yeah. It was fun." Naruto said and gave Tayuya a big kiss
"Not that I don't appreciate it, but what was that for?" Tayuya asked

"What happened?" Tayuya asked
"I was adopted." Naruto said
"No fucking way. By who?" Tayuya asked
"Granny Tsunade." Naruto said

"Yeah. I even have a copy of the papers." Naruto said and showed them to her
"Congratulations." Tayuya said and gave him a hug
"I know. It took nearly 17 years, but I was finally adopted." Naruto said
"That's good for you. You finally have an official family." Tayuya said
"Yeah and speaking of family. I'm sorry." Naruto said
"About what?" Tayuya asked
"Ignoring you for the past couple of days. I didn't do it on purpose. It's just Anko and Kurenai were like family to me, especially Kurenai growing up. I left then came back and haven't seen them so I wanted to spend time with them. Hanabi's like a little sister to me and I've never had siblings. I was just trying to spend a lot of time with them and in doing so I forgot I had you waiting for me at home." Naruto said
"It's alright. I talked to Ino's mom earlier and she explained it to me. I just wanted some time with you that didn't include missions or a few hours before you had to go and spend the day with somebody else." Tayuya said
"The rest of my vacation is time for you and nobody else. Well, after you're done with Sakura, Ino and Karin." Naruto said
"I cancelled my plans with them. Ino wants to do make up and shit. I'm okay with shopping, spa treatments and maybe getting my hair done, but makeup is where I draw the line." Tayuya said and Naruto chuckled
"So, what do you want to do?" Naruto asked and Tayuya kissed his neck
