Annabeth POV:

"Well, don't forget to rest," Dumbledore reminded before the others left. After a few minutes where the only sounds in the rooms were the occasional scratches of Fawkes or some strange candy, I spoke up. "Chiron's message?"

"There have been some problems at Camp Half-Blood, the barriers aren't working very well and there are some signs of bigger threats arising once again."

Next to me, Percy's face visibly paled. "You can't be serious," He complained. "It's been a couple of years since Kronos and even less time since Gaea, but this stuff is happening all over,"

"Besides that, I have discussed things with Chiron and he is considering sending over a few demigods," Dumbledore continued. "Although the situation for them is strange, the monster attacks have been surprisingly few. Your friends are still training well, and Chiron has already discussed sending some over. Hopefully, this will help Hogwart's defence."

"Cool, who's coming?" Percy asked.

"Chiron is still choosing some select few, but out of them, I'm aware there will be a Lou Ellen Blackstone,"

"Cabin 20's counsellor," I remarked. "Makes sense, a child of Hecate being one chosen to come to a school of witchcraft and wizardry,"

"Besides that, there is some news about Nico." Dumbledore continued. "He's been having dreams of someone asking him for help. He has been receiving help from both Chiron and the god residing at Camp Half-Blood which has lead to a sort of revelation. Whoever is calling him, or whatever is calling him, is a soul who is incredibly old and half-blood like you."

"Well, that narrows down things," Percy remarked. "But I think we should still consider why whoever it is, is calling for help. How's Nico doing at Camp anyway? Is he feeling better?"

"I hear he's doing well, happier and still helping with the going ons at Camp Half-Blood," Dumbledore said. "There have been some other seemingly unnatural occurrences on their end, but Chiron is dealing with it quite well. The thing that I'm mainly concerned about is this anti-magic situation we have at hand. Besides demigods, Chiron has enlisted a few nymphs and such. I'm only afraid that-that-" Suddenly, Dumbledore collapsed forward, barely managing to stop himself from hitting the ground by gripping onto the side of his desk as he coughed. "Professor?" I asked. Both of us had rushed forward to help support him. Dumbledore's chest was moving up and down as though he had no breath and was wheezing. His other hand supported his chest as his eyes twitched slightly. After a few moments of flexing his fingers on where he grabbed as if to ensure everything was fine, he stood back up.

"My apologies," Dumbledore sat back down on his chair while Fawkes came over to check upon him. "I am not feeling too well lately, it's really quite irksome at times,"

"Professor," I said, looking over him again. "Maybe you should get yourself checked upon."

"Yeah," Percy agreed. "Bellatrix mentioned that you're on your death bed and you don't look so good. Oh! Phoenix tears have healing properties, right? So maybe Fawkes can cry out some tears to...oh, that sounds kind of weird, but it might work!"

Dumbledore replied. "Thank you for your concern. However, something like this is very difficult to solve at the moment. You could say I'm a zombie of sorts as you would call it, but also not one at all and alive as you are. I just hope I can last a little longer. Though, the others like me seem to be fine so far so that is something to smile about,"

The next few days seemed almost too calm from what happened that night. The rest of the students at Hogwarts didn't know about Bellatrix coming and only thought that there was some trouble in the forbidden forest. However, I felt apprehensive about our magic, about Dumbledore and about the whole situation overall. Percy and I met up and had some regular conversations, and I could tell he was anxious as well. Before the holidays were over, the others from Camp Half-Blood arrived.

It was only breakfast when a young student had suddenly burst in, his face expressing something akin to surprise or fear. "Big!" He said once, before pointing outside the door again. "...big bulls!" Following behind him was another young Hufflepuff student who seemed to be much more excited. She jumped up and down multiple times while pointing outside like the boy before her. "Merlin's beard, there are blazing bulls and a bunch of pegasi and a big dog and a bunch of magical tree people!"

Percy and I glanced at each other before leaving the Great Hall, several students and teachers doing the same. Dumbledore had already told everyone about some visitors from Camp so no one was too surprised about the new faces, but more so about what was accompanied with them. We were all gathered outside of Hogwarts near the main gates where there was already a small group of people. Riding on a pegasus was a girl with golden eyes and curly brown hair who had soon gotten off to talk to some of the other people who were riding the other pegasi: Hazel Levesque. She was a roman demigod from Camp Jupiter who was part of the Seven mentioned in the last crazy adventure we had. From the unfamiliar faces next to her, I'm assuming Chiron also managed to get a few roman demigods over as well.

A few pegasi over, Lou Ellen Blackstone was standing next to Mrs. O'Leary who was carrying several different plants on her back, the dirt being careful not to fall and the hellhound being careful not to shake too much. Hagrid was near the back greeting a few Colchis bulls as he gave them a pat on the back before quickly removing his hand from the heat, not looking at all unhappy. Camp Half-Blood also had Colchis Bulls as well. Unlike the ones we encountered the other day, these ones were nicer to people since they were made in the Camp's forges. Often, they'd help by plowing tracks. Nonetheless, Harry, Hermione and Ron seemed much more tentative of these ones, still looking as though they were expecting it to go berserk.
