NEW ORLEANS

Klaus's mood was very deflated after the blonde Slayer had not only run off but it was the way she reacted to just him placing a hand on her. The way she yanked her arm free, it's as though his touch burned her.
Taking a sip of his drink the hybrid tries to force the image from his mind only to sigh as Lucian walks back over to him with a curious gaze "It seems your Slayer running off has put you in a foul mood. Why don't we go out, paint the town red, et cetera, et cetera?"
Sighing the hybrid downs the rest of his drink before turning to face his old friend "Lucien..." Wanting to snap back he clenches his jaw before groaning in annoyance "What are you really doing in my city?"

Lucian's smile falls at Klaus' words before quickly a serious expression covers his face "News has spread, old friend. Every vampire in the world knows you've been attacked, a number of times nearly killed."

"Oh. Well, I can assure you that all those who stood against me ended up either desiccated, dust, or dinner."

Lucian lets out an unamused huff as he circles around his sire who clearly wasn't getting the point yet "Yes, but what if it had gone the other way, hmm? When Finn was killed, we all learned the truth—the life of every vampire is linked back to the original who began the line. Kol's death confirmed it. Two entire lines of vampires wiped out. As you can imagine, the threat of it doesn't sit well with those of us that remain."
At Lucian's words the hybrid clenches his jaw, he was Klaus Mikealson the immortal hybrid no one would kill him, no matter how many tried he would always defeat them no matter the cost "Anyone fearing death as a result of my demise should come see me. I'll be happy to reassure them."

"Of course, eh. You and your siblings are mighty indeed, yet the attacks on you do show that you are not completely invulnerable. While you've wallowed in your family affairs your progeny have grown somewhat restless. The world is a finite place, territory limited and now because of the power your Slayer holds her armies and treaties forming all over the glove even ancient vampires are not above vicious turf wars. What if I told you there's a growing conflict between the remaining 3 sire lines...all three lines currently trying to get into dear Buffy's grazes."

At that Klaus clenches his jaw if this were true that the sire lines were warring, if one to receive Buffy's support and help they could wipe out the other two lines if not more. "If you think I am the only one coming to try and form a treaty with her you're wrong. Word has it Tristan has requested a meeting with her, at least twice."

At the mention of the start of his brother's sire line, the hybrid clenches his jaw, if there was one person he wanted nowhere near Buffy it was Tristan de Martel.
Lucian sighs as he looks at the hybrid trying to make him see just how catastrophic this could end for them all "Suppose one of the lines wanted to annihilate the other, by killing Elijah, Rebekah, you?"
The hybrid sighs as he looks at his old friend "So you came all this way to deliver a warning? And let me guess in exchange you want that meeting with Buffy. A treaty with her would give you more power I assume."
"Think about it. Kill an original, wipe out an entire line of competition. A tempting goal, made more so by the fact that your family is divided and thus weaker than you have ever been. It doesn't help that by now you and the Slayer were supposed to be one force. You think people don't know she's playing house with another?"

"Watch your words." The hybrid hisses his anger snapping at the reminder of how badly he had screwed up when it came to Buffy. He had shut that door for so long after Joy was born so sure people would see him as weak and by the time he realized that wasn't the case he had messed up yet again.
Taking a threatening step towards the young vampire he glares down at him "My family is hardly weak. In fact, we are unkillable as is Buffy and though we may be at odds she still stands by my side. The last of the white oak is gone, nobody can kill me."

Lucian merely arches a curious brow as he watches the hybrid "Are you so certain it's all gone, every last splinter of it. Banished for good?"

Klaus merely chuckles a bright smile covering his face for a moment before he lets out a growl and grabs the back of Lucian's head yanking him closer "Lucien if you had even the slightest inkling any fragment of white oak still existed, of course, you would tell me."

"Easy, Nik. You are my sire. My fate is linked to yours." He assures his sire removing Klaus' hand from his neck "If you want to know what I would do about the dangers you now face, trust me enough to come with me. There is something that you must see."

"Okay, you owe me new shoes." Buffy huffs as she walks beside Elijah through the bayou the two of them trying to make sure there were going to be no more deaths within the pack.

"I'll get you two." The original promises her just as he spots the bear trap on the floor, bending down beside it his eyes wide and he picks up the trap and turns to Buffy "It seems as though our message was not clear."

Buffy groans as she stares at the bear trap, this was going to be a long night. However, hearing footsteps behind her the blonde speeds over to a hunter that had been sneaking up on them.
"There's another! Incoming!" She yells to Elijah as she knees the hunter in the gut before grabbing his gun from his hands, swinging it at his face knocking him down and probably shattering his jaw in the process.
Groaning the blonde snaps the gun in two before spinning around just to see Elijah snap another hunter's neck.

Rolling her eyes the blonde tosses the now broken gun pieces to the floor before kicking the hunter at her feet in the gut "Yo, gun-happy sally wakey wakey."
"Buffy." Elijah chimes up from behind her causing the blonde to spin around only to spot several red dots now shining on Elijah's suit.

Groaning she moves to stand beside him as she clicks her knuckles "One normal birthday. That's all I was asking...make it three pairs of shoes and a new jacket." She tells him knowing this was about to get very bloody.
"Very well. Shall we?"

"We shall."

Stefan smiles as he continues to push Joy in her little swing that he had built in the backyard, the little girl giggling happily as they play. As he continues to push the swing for the impatient little blonde he sighs as the moment of human happiness was disrupted as yet again his phone starts ringing.

Grabbing his phone he glances down and sure enough, it was an incoming call from Elena, pressing ignore he shoves his phone back into his pocket.
Trying to focus back on the moment he moves to get Joy out of the swing and begins making his way back up towards the house. Heading into the living room he places the little girl down in her playpen with her still clutching tightly onto the wooden knight in her hands.
Ruffling her blonde locks he smiles at her before moving into the kitchen to get her food and make something for him and Buffy knowing that after hunting all day she would raid the damn fridge. He had learned very quickly since living with her to always have food prepared...and normally bourbon if she had been hunting.

Hearing his phone ringing yet again Stefan sighs as he spots Elena's name pop up on the screen, as this was her fourth time calling in the space of two minutes he exhales knowing if he didn't answer she wouldn't stop.
So with a final hesitation, he answers "Hello?"

"Stefan, is that you? I know it's been a really long time since we talked, but..."

"Elena, hey." He breaths quickly noticing the panicking tone of her voice, honestly, she sounded like she was about to have a full-on breakdown "What's going on?"

"I need you to tell me that you found something. A witch. A guy who knows a witch. I know Willow said there was nothing she could do but there has to be someone who knows something. Anything. I need you to give me hope and tell me that you're gonna find Xander and bring him back."

Stefan clenches his jaw as he grabs the juice from the counter and moves back into the living room, crouching down in front of Joy he hands it to her before sighing as he hears Elena's heavy breathing "Not yet."

"But how do you do it? How do you wake up in the morning? How do you go about your day without falling apart? Tell me what you're doing to get through losing Damon because I don't know how to get through losing Xander."

Stefan sighs as he listens to his friend's words, honestly everyone had different ways, they all did. Buffy worked harder and focused on living the best she could knowing that the problems didn't just go away. He himself was still finding his way, but moving on with his life...that was the only thing that kept him together. Buffy and Joy kept him moving.
"There's no right or wrong way, Elena."
"I don't have forever." Elena sobs out "I have 60 more years and I don't wanna spend those without him. So I need you to give me hope. Because I don't know if I can survive the rest of my life without him."

Hearing her words Stefan looks down at the little girl next to him who smiles brightly as she stands in her playpen handing him back her now empty juice. Smiling at the small girl he watches as she promptly goes back to playing, the innocent, so unaware of the pain of the real world.
"I can't." He breaths finally unable to lie to her any longer, Elena was right she was still human she would live a normal human life and die the same.

She couldn't spend the rest of her life waiting around "I gave up."

There is a long silence on the other side of the phone before a shocked Elena pipes up "You just said you were looking for them."
"I did. And then I realized it was pointless and that I needed to move on with my life so...I stopped."

"What do you mean you stopped?!"

Stefan sighs as he moves away from Joy and back into the kitchen, he could hear Elena getting angrier by the second, and what he didn't have the heart to say to her was if she wanted it bad enough, why was it only him being expected to run around the country tracking down every slim chance.

He had tried it and it had almost destroyed him. "I mean I said goodbye, Elena. I moved on. Damon is gone. And so is Xander. It's time for you to say goodbye too."

As Lucian leads him through his penthouse which was currently a rave of feeding vampires the hybrid chuckles as Lucian opens the door to a private room where a table was all set up with candles. "You brought me here to have a séance?"

"Something like that." The vampire explains just a dark-haired woman enters the room "I present my personal forecaster. The lovely Alexis."

Klaus merely shakes his head in amusement as he glances over at the seer "Don't tell me, you're here to scry some future portents of my doom. I have a sister who does that welcome enough already."

Lucian smiles as he moves over to the hybrid his grin raising at the mention of the immortal witch "Ah yes Marianna, very talented. But rest assure Alexis is no back alley palm reader. She's an expert cipher of patterns, trends, cycles. She does extraordinary well on the stock market." He explains as the brunette beauty moves towards Klaus without fear placing a hand on his chest.

Lucian smiles slightly as he pulls off his jacket and moves over to the pair "And never fails to guess the winner of The Bachelorette."

The hybrid merely arches an amused brow as the seer pushes his shirt aside slightly to place her hand on the skin of his chest, turning to look at Lucian he smirks "A touch forward, isn't she?"

"I've heard so much about you..." Alexis says calmly "...the famous hybrid. Your ancient heart beats strong indeed for someone in such danger."
The hybrid couldn't help but roll his eyes at the vagueness of her statement, his patience did not extend for those who drag out threats "If you have a warning to deliver, Luv, best get on with it."

"By all means." She shrugs as she allows Lucian to pull the jacket off her shoulders "But if you want the most from the experience, I suggest you feed on me. As you do, I'll allow you into my mind. You can see for yourself."

He chuckles before finally taking a bite into the woman's neck listening carefully to her words as images begin flashing before his eyes.
"Drink deep but beware. What you broke is past repair. All your oaths you betray. Your sacred vows you sever and now you see that nothing lasts for always and forever. 4 yet remain, 2 already crossed yet in one year's time you'll all be lost. As your family is undone, you will see the beast that is to come."
Yanking his teeth out of her throat he grabs the seer by the throat glaring at her "Ooh! Do you think you can fool me with bad poetry and parlor tricks?"

The seer remains silent and that's when the hybrid halts as he spots her eyes go black, before he could say another word she places her hand on his causing another vision to enter his brain.

The Hybrid quickly found himself standing in his compound the sound of a familiar blonde's voice drawing his attention.
"Hello?" She calls her voice echoing through the silent compound.
The hybrid moves towards the voice only to frown as he spots Buffy stood opposite a fire in a black gown with a figure wrapped in white bandages standing opposite her.

"You." The blonde breaths staring at the figure of the First Slayer "What—what are you doing here?"
The First Slayer merely crouches down by the fire before looking up at the blonde through her long black Maine of hair "You have a shadow over you."

The hybrid frowns in confusion as he walks towards Buffy but she said nothing, nor did she look at him, her eyes remained completely focused on The First Slayer "Luv?" He calls but she doesn't respond.

"You wanna clear that up for me?"
The First Slayer smiles over at the young woman "You have two hearts, two families. The Gilberts and The Mikealsons."
"What can I say I'm greedy. We gonna get to a point."
"Your time with them is short." The First Slayer explains as she circles around the fire and moves right in front of the blonde so they were standing face to face only making the hybrid tense at her next words "Within the year both your families will fall. The Mikealsons will be first...One by friend, one by foe...and one by family...Then the Gilberts and the Summers will be torn apart. You will never be in the same room with all again. So enjoy your time while you can because soon you will be what you truly are...alone. Always alone."

Buffy sighs as she throws her now blood-drenched jacket on the ground before groaning as Elijah offers her his own. Glaring at it for a moment she sighs, she may hate his guts, but she was freakin freezing "Thanks." She mumbles as she pulls on his suit jacket and rolls up the sleeves "Apparently demon side doesn't come with an internal heater."

Once the jacket was no longer swallowing her Buffy looks up just as what was probably the last surviving hunter makes his appearance, "About time. You're cutting into my mealtime here." She huffs as she leans against the tree glaring at the terrified hunter in annoyance.
Elijah sighs as he turns to face the human "You will provide me with the precise location of every last one of those vulgar traps as well as the routes used by any of your other men."

"Or..." Buffy chimed in as she reveals the chain from behind her back which had one of the sharp traps on it, smirking she swings it in his direction "...this goes on you. Trust me you wanna talk. Cause otherwise we're talking strong language adult content, you probably becoming compost in a few months after we dump your body."

The human gulps in terror as he stares at the trap Buffy was currently swinging around like a yoyo "I—I don't know."

Without another word, a naked dark haired figure jumps at the hunter throwing fist after fist at his fate.

Buffy frowns as she watches her before it clicks "Maya!" She calls causing the wolf woman to stand up her eyes widening in relief as she spots Buffy "Buffy."
Buffy offers her a small smile before pulling Elijah's jacket back off and placing it over her shoulders as she examines the wolves "Are you okay?"

"I am but the others..." She hisses "...there was so much blood. I don't know how many are left."

"And of Hayley?" Elijah finally chimes in after being stunned to silence "Is she—"

"I thought she would be with Buffy." Maya mumbles before turning to Buffy "But if she's not with you...then she's probably dead."

The hybrid remained silent as he continued to think back to the vision of Buffy speaking to who he assumed was the First Slayer, given how well her description matched all writings of her. What was worrying him was if that was something Buffy actually saw, if it was one of her Slayer visions then at least some of it could carry some truth.
Honestly, the fact that there could possibly be another threat heading their way, one that would tear them all apart just angered him more. He had already lost so much after the battle with Dahlia and if Alexis and The First Slayer were correct...that was nothing compared to what was coming for them next.

"I told you." Lucian chimes in drawing the hybrid's attention "Something is coming. You'll need me."
Without another word, the hybrid grabs Lucian launching him at the wall as his anger flows over "I am Klaus Mikealson! I don't need anyone, nor will I be warned by lesser men!" He screams moving in closer so he could practically growl in Lucian's face "I am the thing that lesser men fear."

Lucian merely smiles not an ounce of fear showing as he spoke to the furious hybrid "Then act like it—" The vampire tells his sire as he moves away from the hybrid to pace back and forth in front of the window "Instead of watching the woman destined for you play house with another man and pouting about your family's disapproval. Yes, you are Klaus Mikealson!" Lucian yells suddenly moving back over to the hybrid "You are the most ruthless, wicked beast to ever live and yet here you stand a man prophesied to rule the world with the woman that monsters have nightmares about yet you allow another man to steal her from you! The Klaus Mikealson I knew would have ended him in heartbeat for taking what is rightfully yours!"

Pausing Lucian presses a finger against Klaus' chest before chuckling "I came here to remind you of that. Because, quite frankly, I've been worried that you've lost a step."

The hybrid who was extremely close to ending his friend just for the comments that mocked him about a woman who was destined to rule New Orleans alongside him takes a deep breath as he glares at the smug Lucian "I need no reminding of who I am. That truth has been clear to me for a thousand years."

"And in those years, you've acquired countless enemies, and with the sire lines at war, you now have mine as well." He argues moving to stand by the window glancing out at the city below.

"Why do you think I want a treaty with your Slayer. She has more people loyal to her than the entire extent of the vampire population. You have her by your side...your untouchable, no one would dare try not without risking the wrath of almost 3 thousand Slayers and who knows whatever hell creatures. But you...people love her, you not so much. Without her, as your Queen, your enemies will come and now anyone who would kill me could now come after you, and since I have so many rivals. And since I do not want to die, I bet you let me help you. Besides that woman, I am the only one you can trust."

MYSTIC FALLS

Elena forces down the last of the herbs before taking a shaky breath tears threatening to escape her as she feels a familiar presence behind her. "You can't be here." She whispers refusing to turn and look at him "You're not even real. It's just my subconscious making me see what I want to see."
Xander chuckles from behind her "I told you Stefan was a Buzzkill. But no one listens to the guy who was Dracula's butt monkey."
Elena lets out a small laugh which just made her heart ache more as she thinks about all the times he had brought a smile to her lips "You know I want to see you, Xand. But...the voices...it's killing me. If I'm not careful I'm gonna hurt, someone."

"I get it." He assures her before chuckling "If you want to move on do it...just no one hotter or who makes you laugh. Honestly, I think you should settle with someone you can't speak. Talking my whole thing."

Letting out another laugh the human moves to lean against the walls of the crypt "So if we're moving on...what's the point of this last mind trip?"
Elena takes a shaky breath as she spins around finally looking at him "I never got to say thank you."

"Elena..."

"No." She whispers walking over to him and taking his face in her hands "I want to thank you for giving me everything I always wanted. Someone who saw me and accepted me. Who loved me...passion, someone who made me laugh and smile more than I ever have. And there's nothing more I could ever want than to move into our house...to marry you and have weird demon magnet Banshee kids with you...but I can't..." Letting out a small sob she lets the tears drip down her face as she watches him taking in every aspect of his face "I have to let you go. I love you so much, Xander. But this is goodbye."

Leaning up she kisses him softly soaking up the moment before finally taking a tearful step back tears spilling down through her closed eyes.

Trying to let it all go like she should have done months ago. Like she needed to do.

As she opens her eyes expecting him to be gone her eyes widen as she spots him staring at her sadly, Xander sighs "Lena...you gotta let me go."

"I...no...I..." She stutters as she watches him in confusion "I said goodbye, Xand."
Xander sighs before cupping her face in his hands "You're holding onto me and you can't. This...doing this is killing you. Let me go."

"I am." She argues tears still spilling down her face as she tried to bury her denial "This is the last time. I'm done."

"You found the ring." He whispers stroking her cheek as he grabs the necklace around her neck where sure enough was the engagement ring he was going to give to her "This is holding you back Elena."
Elena takes a shaky breath as she clutches onto what would have been her engagement ring if Alina hadn't killed him to get to her "Stop." She whispers but he continues "This is holding you back. That house...that can't be...it won't be..."

"No!" She screams angrily slapping his chest as tears begin flowing further down her cheeks before finally collapsing down onto her knees Xander's arms tightened around her as she sobbed into his chest.

NEW ORLEANS

"I'll call you when I speak to one of my witches. We'll find Hayley, Elijah."

Buffy assures the Original before hanging up the phone and tossing it into the passenger seat as she continues driving down the road.

Honestly, all she wanted was to sleep and forget about the awfulness of this day. From the paperwork, the constant phone calls, and then her and Elijah finding a ton of dead wolves stuffed into the hunter's truck...it had been eventful, to say the least.

Hearing her phone ring the blonde sighs as she spots an incoming call from Caroline, pressing ignore she shakes her head. She was not in the mood for a third-degree from Caroline because she knew how it was going to go, Caroline was going to demand to know things then want help and Buffy couldn't do it.

She wouldn't, she had tried and done enough, she had more responsibilities than anyone of her friends and none of them seemed to understand that.

Hearing her phone ringing again the blonde lets out a growl and answers it "I'm going to rip your spine from your body Caroline, what part of not answering was not clear! It's late I'm tired and I wanna sleep!"

There is a loud laugh from the other side of the phone making Buffy groan and curse herself for not checking the caller ID "I see you feel just as exhausted as myself." Klaus chimes in "I don't suppose I can't talk you into a nightcap...there is a few things I need to talk about."

Buffy sighs as she pulls the car over into her driveway, leaning her head against the steering wheel she grumbles slightly "Maybe another time...I just...my birthday has pretty much sucked again. I just wanna go sleep."

A disappointed sigh leaves the hybrid lips before he lets out a small laugh "No worries Luv. Speaking off...I had your birthday gift dropped off. I painted it for you myself. Happy birthday, my love."

Without another word, Klaus hangs up and Buffy couldn't help but groan something was wrong she could feel it but she couldn't act as his therapist because he had annoyed his actual therapist yet again.

Climbing out of her car she moves up to the front door and sure enough a neatly wrapped present was pressed against the door.
Smiling slightly she picks up the painting and unravels the paper around it. Her eyes widen as she spots a painting of her sparing with a sword out by the Bayou. She had to admit it was beautiful and she liked this a lot better than his half-naked portrait of her.

Grabbing the card off the bottom she smiles sadly as she spots his handwritten message 'I will make it up to you. No matter what.'

Stefan sighs as he sits in the living room listening to the message Caroline had left on his voice mail. One of the hundreds she had left him over the summer.

"Hey, it's me. Pretty sure I'm about to leave you the exact same message I just left Buffy but what the hell. Today was not a good day.

Everyone drifted apart.

It's like everyone's pretending they can get through this alone.

Elena's gone and I think she's so scared to accept what happened that she's become a completely different person. And if you ask me Tyler's just hiding at Whitmore, pretending everything's fine. As if he can outrun his werewolf gene or something. And Matt and Jeremy never leave Mystic Falls anymore...

There's an invisible wall standing between us and them and nobody's doing anything about it. And I'm pretty sure Buffy is just ignoring my calls now. With her and Joy in New Orleans, it feels like we're losing them. And then there's me just sitting in a diner on the border of town trying to get our home back. We just lost three of our closest friends and with Buffy in New Orleans, it feels like it won't be long till we lose her for good.

We need each other."

Without letting the message finish Stefan deletes it just as he spots Buffy stood in the doorway holding a painting in her arms.
Buffy smiles sadly at him before placing the painting on the couch and moving to sit beside him as he hands her a beer "Joy asleep?"
"Like a dead person." He chuckles "She sleeps like a log. Pretty sure I could throw a rave and she would sleep through it."
Buffy lets out a small laugh before leaning her head on his shoulder as she takes a sip of her beer.

Glancing over at his phone she sighs thinking back to the voicemail from Caroline "They're gonna hate us." She breathes looking up at him sadly "When they find out the truth."
"I don't care." Stefan admits as he pushes the hair out of her face cupping her cheek in his palm, his finger stroking her skin softly making her smile "We deserve to grieve." He tells her "And move on. We tried everything Buffy and there was nothing but more hurt and disappointment. I just...I just wanna live my life with you and Joy, that's what our friends would have wanted, what my brother would want."

Buffy smiles sadly before moving to set her beer down, she then swings her leg around so she was sat on his lap his hands resting comfortably on her hips. Grabbing his face in her hands she smiles "I love you."
Stefan smiles brightly before pulling the blonde closer kissing her on the lips, Buffy moans at the contact smiling as she feels his hands tighten on her hips. Pulling back she pulls the shirt from his body before yanking his lips back to hers as the tension continues to build.

As she begins kissing up and down his neck Stefan growls and hauls them both up allowing her to wrap her legs around his waist just as he speeds her into their bedroom slamming the door shut behind them.

WHITMORE

"Do you like being a vampire?" Elena asks Alaric as he stands in Buffy's kitchen pouring himself a drink while the banshee was playing with the ring around her neck.
Alaric who had moved into Buffy's empty apartment after his resurrection sighs as he looks over at the tear-stained face that belonged to the banshee. She just looked so broken.

"Why don't you get some sleep?" He suggests "We'll talk about it tomorrow when that crap's out of your system."

Elena as though she hadn't heard a word he had said merely continues as she plays with her ring "Because with all the funerals and the start of the year we haven't talked about how you're dealing with all this."

Alaric sighs as he takes a sip of bourbon honestly not wanting to get into the specifics because honestly he still hadn't figured out how he felt about being back "You mean with me coming back to life? Well, moving away from Mystic Falls helped. I understand a lot more now why Buffy was so desperate to escape when she came back."

"I don't wanna be near Mystic Falls." The banshee whispers "Because my house is there. The house he built. He poured hours of his human life into it. Blood sweat and tears. And I can't even look at it."

Looking down she clutches the ring in her hands "I'm not a vampire, I don't have eternity I have 60 years where I'm gonna have this hole in my heart. We had so many plans, we were gonna three kids, a dog, travel for a bit. But know that's all gone...and I can't...I can't pass it. Not without help."

Pausing she looks over at Ric knowing he was going to hate this, he was going to try and talk her out of it but she needed this, she needed to move on...she just couldn't do it alone "I want you to take away Xander. I want you to compel me to forget that I ever loved him. Otherwise, I think I'm gonna lose control of my powers and snap. I don't know if the next time I scream...I don't think I'll be able to stop."

NEW ORLEANS

Buffy and Stefan were laid in bed the blonde Slayer's head resting on the vampire's chest as he continued to stroke his hand through her blonde locks. Buffy smiles slightly and shifts closer to him placing a small kiss on his chest before leaning her chin on his chest so she could look up at him.

Stefan smiles brightly at her before frowning as he spots the worry in her eyes, which accompanied by the fact that their alarm clock was broken was giving him cause for worry "What is it?"
Buffy sighs as she moves to lay beside him allowing him to wrap an arm around her as he watches her concerned. The blonde runs a shaky hand across his arm before a look of worry and panic crosses her features "I'm worried I'm gonna have the same dream again..." She mumbles thinking back to The First Slayer's words, words that had been haunting her all day and night "...I just have this bad feeling Stefan. I'm pretty sure this was a dream with big Slayer level warnings."

The vampire's eyes fill with concern knowing from experience that her dreams when they were based in truth often meant either the end of the world...or something more personal "What happened?"

"Something's coming." She whispers her green eyes filled with so much confusion and fear, she was finally happy again after so much hell but it seemed the universe loved to screw with her "Something that's gonna ruin us all. And I don't know if we can stop it. We've always won...but this time...I don't think we will."

MYSTIC FALLS – ANOTHER WORLD

Just as he had done every morning for the past four months Xander was chopping fruit in the Salvatore's kitchen while Damon cooked the pancakes and Bonnie made the coffee. With every day in this world they were trapped being the same there wasn't much they could do.

Plus it didn't help that from what they had found, it was the three of them and no one else.

They were all that there was in this world.

Circling around the kitchen counter Xander takes his seat at the table placing the fruit in the middle of the table just as Bonnie hands him his coffee and Damon walks over placing the pancakes down in front of the two humans.

Xander sighs as he looks down and sure enough yet again Damon had arranged the pancakes to look like a vampire "You couldn't spring for a bunny this time?" He asks with a laugh with Damon merely shrugs "This annoys Bonnie more."

Bonnie groans in annoyance as she tosses Xander his magazine before throwing the newspaper at Damon "You guys suck."
