Jet survived in Ba Sing Se. On his way to reunite with his gang (who he predicts is with the avatar), he is forced to contemplate his morality. He is pit up against situations that question his understanding of the humanity of the Fire Nation. What can he learn from a Fire Nation animal? Or a Fire Nation kid? And eventually... a Fire Nation prince? Eventual Jetko. Jet redemption

In the weeks after Ba Sing Se fell, he died every night. Every time she closed her eyes, his death was pressed behind them. It multiplied until the room was choked with it, until she could scarcely see his living form through the specters of his death. Maybe it was inevitable that she wouldn't be able to shake them all.

(modern AU) Katara and the gang helps this new student to adapt at his new school. He was a star soccer player at his old school but After his parents divorced he is now living with his uncle and little sister in another town.

Azula had left the fire nation and took up work as a bounty hunter. She was good at it, able to standover all those pleading to be let free. Yet one drink, caused what most would guess. A child born to Azula the only one who showed her unconditional love. Still fate deals the cards, yet no matter the cards the backs are always blue.

It was then Katara's turn to stare up at the fiery sky, the multitude of clouds glowing in red and orange glory. "Aang," she murmured, his name falling from her lips like a prayer. "Please." Katara and Sokka receive news about the declining health of their father and drop everything to be with him in his final moments. These events take place during the 3 month time skip I did in my other story titled Su'yin.

At dinner, Aang finds himself being asked about how he got trapped in the iceberg and this brings him face to face with his past once again. Will a conversation with his newfound friend Zuko about their similarities ease the pain of the past?

Zuko mourns his sister even before their Agni Kai begins. Luckily, he is not alone in this battle nor in his grief.

Katara and Aang reunite after months apart, and Aang has changed in a way Katara doesn't like at all. Written for Kataang Week 2021.

He had woken up with a blast. From there everything had gone down into his own downfall. Zuko takes the heroic way and it maybe the last decision he ever takes. A kind of character study of what would have happened if the beginning of episode 03x15 had gone way different. Finally fixed after a lot of formatting mishaps

Azula is still talking to shadows of her mother, Aang must rebuild an entire culture from scrolls, memories, and sky bison. Noncannon after the series, if you followed the comics. Elements taken from the comics though. Updates not timed due to computer problems and real life.

A response to egwolf65's challenge, this rewrite explores a dark possibility: that Team Avatar loses. The only survivors, Toph, Katara, and Zuko try to make sense of this new world but all they really know is that they will keep fighting. When the original bending masters approach them with a different approach-to be trained and sent back in time-the way forward is clear.
