The Palace doesn't feel like home for Azula, it probably never has. But this fact changed as Sokka became a regular guest as ambassador. But as more Azula started to feel home as more she noticed, that their friendship put Sokka's relationship at stake, so she retreated herself again. Now Sokka is gone and the Palace depresses her even more.

So this is my first story, something I wrote in between classes and tweaked a little recently. It centers around Soah, a girl who lives among the Fire Nation nobility and how she came to be betrothed to Zhao. Trigger warning for abuse, rape, domestic violence.

When Katara is captured by a Fire Nation Fleet and imprisoned at the palace, Zuko is forced to revisit lingering feelings from Ba Sing Se. Unsure where his destiny lies, a visit with his Uncle reveals more than he is ready to face. This is a story about meetings and second chances. No one could ever determine the importance of one meeting to change your life; but a collection of brief passing and multiple encounters to shape your destiny.
