A few days ago was Princess Festival Day, a day when girls rule and the guys have to do whatever the girls tell them. Translation for Misty, a day full of shopping. However Ember was a little bit uncomfortable seeing all the guys carrying the girls' shopping bags. Luckily Ember didn't really buy much. She only bought a gift for her mom and some toys for Brock's family. She also helped Brock carrying most of Misty's bags.

Then the gang came across Team Rocket where Jessie was shopping like crazy. Soon enough there was a contest for a full set of Pokémon dolls. Both Misty and Jessie entered the contest. In the end, Misty won the doll set and Team Rocket was sent flying into the air.

Today Ember and her friends have decided to take a break to simply eat and rest up. All of the Pokémon were out, enjoying the fresh air. Brock was cooking while Misty and Ember were interacting with their Pokémon. Every time they stopped, Ember made sure to train her Pokémon. Her friends had helped her earlier with training her Pokémon, who were ready to take on the Cinnabar Gym. So today was rest for the Pokémon.

"Lunch time!" Brock's voice called out.

Everyone began eating and talking amongst themselves.

"Hey Ember." Misty said.

"Yeah?" Ember turned to Misty.

"Will Togepi evolve?" Misty asked.

"Actually yes." Ember replied.

"Really? What does Togepi evolve into?" Misty questioned.

"Here." Ember showed her phone to Misty:

[Togetic, Happiness Pokémon. They say that it will appear before kindhearted, caring people and shower them with happiness.]

"Wow." Misty awed and held up Togepi up to her face, "You'll be even cuter when you get evolve, huh?"

Togepi cheered happily.

Lucario's ears twitched at that moment and looked towards the bushes. Ember noticed his twitching.

"Lucario, what is it?" Ember asked.

Lucario disappeared and the group heard a yelp which came from the bushes. Then he came out carrying a boy by the back of his shirt. The person was a young boy with brown curly hair, wearing a red striped shirt, black fingerless gloves on his hands, sporting brown shorts, and brown shoes. There was a camera hanging around his neck.

"(I found him spying in the bushes.)" Lucario said.

"I wasn't spying. I was just taking pictures." The boy protested.

"It seemed like spying to me." Ember commented.

"Pictures of your Pokémon. I'm a Pokémon Photographer. My name's Todd Snap and I'm the number one Pokémon photo master!" 'Todd' introduced himself.

Ember remembered this guy. The guy liked taking pictures of Pokémon. Especially ones that looked completely natural. But she knew that he was confused by Team Rocket's request of capturing her Raichu. She had to admit that it would be funny when Team Rocket finds out that Snap is a photographer and not a Pokémon catcher or something like that.

"I believe you, but in the near future I suggest that you be more careful." Ember advised, "Lucario, you can put him down."

Lucario gently placed Todd back on his feet.

"I think I'll do that after today." Todd said, sheepishly.

The gang introduced themselves along with their Pokémon.

"You're a Pokémon photographer, right? That mean that you must've taken lots of Pokémon pictures." Brock said.

"That's right. My house is nearby and I can show you them." Todd suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea." Ember said.

"Rai Rai. (Let's go.)" Tesla smiled.

So the gang went over to Todd's house. They were amazed by his pictures. Ember had to admit that they were good.

"These pictures are great, Todd. Are you famous for this?" Misty asked.

Todd rubbed the back of his head, "Well not at first, but after I took this picture of this at Grampa Canyon I suddenly got really popular." He showed them a picture of an Aerodactyl, Ember's Aerodactyl.

Ember winced at the memory of that day. Her bruises were now gone from that incident. She had forgiven her Aerodactyl for hurting her.

Misty gasped, "No way! That Ember's Aerodactyl!"

"I'm surprised that you managed to get a good picture of it holding Ember in its claws." Brock observed.

"Wait a minute, are you seriously saying you caught that Aerodactyl? That's impossible!" Todd exclaimed, shocked.

"Try zooming in." Ember said calmly.

Todd did just that, he zoomed in on the picture and sure enough there was Ember in the Pokémon's claws! "It is you! But how?!"

The gang explained to Todd about the incident they had at Grampa Canyon. They were only looking for fossils, only ended up finding prehistoric Pokémon instead.

"Even though Ember, Misty, and I got fossils, Ember was the only one who caught the prehistoric Pokémon." Brock said.

"Wow, I can't believe that you survived that kind of ordeal." Todd commented.

"If it weren't for Natsu, my Charizard, I wouldn't have." Ember stated.

"You mean that different colored Charizard?" Todd asked.

Ember nodded, "Yup. He's a shiny Pokémon."

"Can I ask it if I could take a picture of him later?" Todd requested, holding his camera.

"Uh sure. If it's alright with Natsu that is." Ember replied.

"Thanks." Todd said.

Todd was able to get a picture of Natsu who didn't seem to mind. Then Todd wanted to take a picture of Tesla, but she didn't want her picture taken.

So the group headed out after that. Lucario decided to stay out of his Pokéball because he was suspicious of Todd. Ember knew that Todd was following them as he was hiding in the tall grass and she figured that Lucario sensed him as well.

"That guy really wanted to take Tesla's picture, Ember." Brock said.

"I wonder why though. He's always taking pictures of other Pokémon." Misty pondered.

"You know how paintings capture the emotions of anyone who painted in it?" Ember asked.

The others nodded.

"Well that's what Todd is doing but it's different. When he takes pictures of the Pokémon he captures, his pictures display a memory of the past, something you'll always remember." Ember explained with a smile.

Suddenly Lucario stopped walking which made the others stop as well.

"Lucario, what's wrong?" Ember asked.

Lucario pointed to a spot on the ground before them. Ember picked up a rock before tossing it right in front of them revealing a pitfall trap. Obviously made by Team Rocket.

Ember's eyebrow twitched, "Team Rocket is definitely running out of ideas."

"Are you guys okay?" Todd came out of the bushes.

"We're fine, Todd." Ember assured him.

"But what are you doing out here?" Misty asked.

"(He's been following us the whole time.)" Lucario responded.

"You twerps!"

Their attention was drawn towards the Team Rocket trio who took off their disguises.

"And you! You tricked us!" Jessie accused.

"What are you talking about? Who are you?" Todd demanded.

"They're Team Rocket, they go around stealing other people's Pokémon. Judging by their reaction towards you they were probably expecting you to steal Tesla's from me, not take her picture." Ember said calmly.

Meowth flinched when Jessie and James turned towards him.

"Give me that article!" James swiped the article that was in Meowth's hands. "He's a photographer and captures Pokémon on film."

Meowth shrugged nervously, "Guess I read it wrong."

James slapped Meowth on the head with the magazine article.

"No matter, we'll just take Raichu the old fashion way!" Jessie stated sending out Arbok, while James sent out Weezing.

Suddenly one of Ember's Pokéball shook and Squirtle came out.

Ember blinked, "Squirtle?"

"Squirtle! (I'll battle them!)" Squirtle decided.

"Okay then." Ember said.

"Like that little turtle can do anything. Arbok, Tackle!" Jessie taunted.

"Use Tackle as well, Weezing!" James commanded.

"Protect!" Ember ordered.

Squirtle created a green shield around himself that Arbok and Weezing slammed into before they were also sent flying.

Todd was busy snapping numerous photos at that moment. Before anyone could say anything, Squirtle began glowing, taking everyone by surprise. When the light was gone, another Pokémon stood in Squirtle's place. It was a bipedal, indigo Pokémon similar to a turtle. It had brown eyes, a dark blue streak on each cheek, and two sharp teeth protruding from its upper jaw. It had three clawed fingers and pointed toes. Pale blue fur covering its long ears and tail. A brown shell with a pale yellow underside encases its body. A thick, white rim separates the upper and lower halves of the shell.

"Wartortle!" Wartortle said.

"Squirtle evolved into Wartortle!" Misty smiled.

Ember took out her phone:

[Wartortle, the Turtle Pokémon. The evolved form of Squirtle. A highly sought after Pokémon because its long fur-covered tail is said to bring good luck.]

Then Ember scanned Wartortle's new moves.

[Bite, Protect, Water Pulse, Aqua Tail, and Hydro Pump]

Ember grinned, "Wartortle, use Water Pulse!"

Wartortle created a blue sphere of energy from in between his hands. Then fired the sphere at Arbok and Weezing, which exploded into a wave of water.

"Arbok!"

"Weezing!"

"We're not done yet! Ice Beam!" Ember ordered.

Wartortle blasted a beam of ice at Team Rocket which turned them into a Team Rocket popsicle.

"Now Tesla, Levina, use Thunder Shock! Lucario, Dragon Pulse! Wartortle, Hydro Pump!"

All four attacks hit Team Rocket which broke them out of the ice and sent them into the sky.

"TEAM ROCKET'S BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket screamed as they disappeared into the sky.

Misty waved, "Good bye!"

Togepi waved his hands happily, "Togepriii (Bye Bye!)

Ember, Tesla, Levina, and Lucario gave Wartortle a group hug. "You were all great."

A little bit later, Todd took a picture with himself and the gang. It was kind of funny before he ran over to them, he slipped and tripped on Ember, making all two of them fall as they laughed along with Brock and Misty. The photo would be a remembrance to remind him that he now had friends. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, but a new friend is priceless.
