Today is the day for Ember's third match at the Indigo League finals. The trainer she was going to battle against was a trainer named Johnny Carson. He had somewhat spiky dark brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a green hoodie, blue jeans, and black sneakers. It was going to be a 6 on 6 battle. Ember was ready to fight this guy.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to our first match of the day of the finals!" The announcer announced, "Let's introduce our two trainers who will be battling against each other. In the red corner is Johnny Carson from New Bark Town!"

The crowd cheered for Johnny.

"And in the green corner we have Ember Ketchum of Pallet Town!"

The crowd cheered loudly for Ember.

"Let the battle begin!"

"Go Golem!" Johnny let out his first Pokémon.

"Golem!" Golem appeared on the field.

"Venusaur, let's go!" Ember let out her Kanto Grass Starter.

"Saur!" Venusaur appeared on the field.

"Sandslash versus Venusaur battle...begin!"

"Golem, use Tackle!" Golem rolled up into a ball and rolled towards Venusaur.

"Venusaur, Protect!" Ember countered.

Venusaur projected a green colored barrier in front of himself. Golem hit the barrier and bounced off.

"Now Leech Seed!" Venusaur launched a seed from his back and it landed on Golem. It opened, spreading its vines and wrapped around Golem causing it to groan in pain and knelt down on one knee.

"Golem!" Johnny called out.

"Petal Blizzard! Then Sunny Day!" Ember shouted.

A bunch of petals came from Venusaur's plant and blew towards Golem who groaned at the impact. Then Venusaur launched a white colored orb from his mouth and into the sky.

"Quick Golem, use Rock Throw!" Johnny ordered.

Golem summoned as much as it could and threw them towards Venusaur.

"Hyper Beam!" Venusaur launched his attack and it destroyed Golem's rocks and slammed into Golem which caused a dust cloud.

When the dust cleared, it showed Golem with swirling eyes which meant that it fainted.

"Golem is unable to battle! The victory goes to Venusaur!"

"Wow what a battle! Venusaur defeated Golem!"

"Saur!" Venusaur roared.

"Great job, Venusaur!" Ember called out.

Venusaur simply smiled back at her.

Johnny returned Golem to its Pokéball and let out his next Pokémon, "Go Quilava!"

"Lava!" Quilava appeared on the field.

Ember returned Venusaur and let out her next Pokémon, "Come on out, Dewgong!"

"Dewgong!" Dewgong appeared on the field.

"Quilava versus Dewgong battle...begin!"

"Quilava, Flamethrower!" Flames burst from Quilava's mouth and headed towards Dewgong.

"Hydro Pump!" Water burst from Dewgong's mouth and rammed against Quilava's flamethrower.

The two attacks caused steam to go everywhere. Ember decides to use this to her advantage.

"Aqua Jet!" Dewgong's body was surrounded in water and went straight towards Quilava who was having a hard time trying to find Dewgong. Then Dewgong tackled Quilava, sending it tumbling across the field. Then it weakly stood up.

"Quilava, are you okay?" Johnny called out.

"Q-Quilava (I'm-I'm fine)." Quilava breathed heavily.

"Okay then, use Over Heat!" Johnny ordered.

"Blizzard!" Ember countered.

The attacks hit, causing a small amount of rain to fall down on the field which weakened Quilava.

"Over Heat completely melted the blizzard that changed into rain! What a change of events!"

"Dewgong, Ice Beam!" Dewgong formed a white orb in front of her mouth.

Before Quilava could move, it took a full hit of the ice and was encased in ice.

"Quilava!" Johnny called out.

"Now Iron Tail!" Ember commanded.

Dewgong's tail turned a metallic color and she slammed it against the ice covered Quilava, breaking it out of the ice and sent it tumbling across the field, creating a dust cloud. When the cloud disappeared, it showed Quilava with swirling eyes.

"Quilava is unable to battle! The victory goes to Dewgong!"

"Another win for Ember Ketchum! Who knew that the unexpected rain would easily help Dewgong defeat Quilava!"

"Alright Dewgong!" Ember called out.

Dewgong smiled, "Dewgong."

Johnny returned Quilava and let out his next Pokémon, "Go Machoke!"

"Machoke!" Machoke appeared on the field.

Ember returned Dewgong and let out her next Pokémon, "Wigglytuff, I choose you!"

"Wigglytuff!" Wigglytuff appeared on the field.

"Machoke versus Wigglytuff battle...begin!"

"Machoke, Bulk Up and Cross Chop!" Johnny ordered.

Red energy surrounded Machoke and he ran towards Wigglytuff.

"Dodge and Low Sweep!" Ember countered.

Wigglytuff dodged Machoke's attack and swept Machoke off his feet which made him fall on his back.

"Now Play Rough!" Wigglytuff grabbed Machoke's leg and started rough housing with him.

Ember slightly winced when Wigglytuff kept slamming Machoke onto the ground. Then Wigglytuff grabbed Machoke one more time and threw him across the field, tumbling until he stopped.

"Machoke, you okay?" Johnny asked.

"M-Machoke." Machoke grunted as he stood up.

"Alright, use Bullet Punch!" Johnny ordered.

Machoke's fists lite up and he headed straight towards Wigglytuff.

"Protect!" Ember countered.

Wigglytuff projected a green colored barrier in front of herself, blocking Machoke's attack.

"Scary Face!" Wigglytuff made a scary face which Machoke flinched at and made him stop his attack, "Thunder Punch!"

Electricity gathered in Wigglytuff's right hand and she punched her fist into Machoke's stomach which sent him tumbling to the middle of the field, creating a dust cloud. When the dust cleared, it showed Machoke with swirls in his eyes.

"Machoke is unable to battle! The victory goes to Wigglytuff!"

"That is one tough Wigglytuff! She shows that you should never underestimate a cute Pokémon. Now Johnny is down to three Pokémon left!"

"You got him good, Wigglytuff!" Ember called out.

Wigglytuff smiled.

Johnny returned Machoke and let out his fourth Pokémon, "Tauros!"

Tauros appeared on the field.

Ember returned Wigglytuff and let out her next Pokémon, "Mienshao!"

"Mienshao." Mienshao appeared on the field.

"Tauros versus. Mienshao battle...begin!"

"Tauros, use Horn Attack!" Johnny ordered.

Tauros's horns glowed and stomped straight towards Mienshao.

"Mienshao, jump to avoid it." Ember commanded.

Mienshao jumped in the air to avoid get hit by the attack and , and Tauros ran across the field. Mienshao meanwhile landed back safely on the ground.

"Take Down!" Tauros charged at Mienshao at high speed.

"Dodge and Drain Punch!" Mienshao's left fist glowed and then she jumped over Tauros and punched Tauros on the back of its head, skidding across the field, before falling to the ground. Tauros was down, but not out. Then Tauros slowly got up. Ember used that as her chance.

"Aura Sphere!" Mienshao created a blue like sphere between her hands and threw the Aura Sphere towards Tauros. The attack caused a dust cloud and when it disappeared, it showed that Tauros had fainted.

"Tauros is unable to battle! The victory goes to Mienshao!"

"Great job Mienshao!" Ember called out.

Mienshao smiled, "Mienshao."

"Mienshao swiftly defeated Tauros! Quite a graceful and strong Fighting-type Pokémon! Johnny is now down to two Pokémon left. Ember still hasn't had any knockouts. Can Johnny make a comeback?"

"He'll try." Johnny said as he returned Tauros and let out his next Pokémon, "Go Parasect!"

"Para!" Parasect appeared on the field.

Ember returned Mienshao and let out her fifth Pokémon, "Let's go, Elsa!"

"Ninetales!" Elsa appeared on the field.

"Wow! Would you look at that. Ember Ketchum has a Alolan Ninetales on her team. This kind of Pokémon can only be found in the Alola region."

"Parasect versus Ninetales battle...begin!"

"Parasect, use Stun Spore!" An orange like powder poured out from Parasect.

"Elsa, Icy Wind!" A cold wind came out of Elsa's mouth and it froze some of the stun spore and blew it towards Parasect who flinched at the coldness and some of the stun spore, getting affected by the previous attack.

"Avalanche!" Elsa's body glowed light blue, and a dark cloud appears above Parasect. Then chunks of white or clear ice then rain down from the cloud.

"Parasect, dodge!" Parasect try to dodge all of the ice chunks. But then it got hit by a few of them, causing a small flurry of snow. The snow flurry disappeared, showing Parasect who was majorly affected by the ice attacks. Parasect weakly tried to get back on its feet.

"Ice Beam!" Elsa fired a beam of ice at Parasect who then was encased in ice.

"Parasect!" Johnny cried out.

"Finish it up with Iron Tail!" Elsa's tails glowed a metallic color and she ran towards the frozen Parasect. Then she slammed her tail into it, causing the ice to break and released Parasect who sent tumbling across the field. When it stopped tumbling, it showed Parasect with swirling eyes, it fainted.

"Parasect is unable to battle! The victory goes to Ninetales!"

"Parasect is out for the count. Parasect just couldn't handle the cold by Ninetales!"

"Great job, Elsa!" Ember cheered.

Elsa smiled back, "Tales."

"Both trainers are down to their last Pokémon. Which Pokémon will they choose?"

Johnny returned Parasect and let out his last Pokémon, "Go Victreebel!"

"Victreebel!" Victreebel appeared on the field.

Ember returned Elsa and let out her last Pokémon, "Come on out, Nidoking!"

"Nido!" Nidoking appeared on the field.

"Victreebel versus Ninoking battle...begin!"

"Nidoking, Flamethrower!" Ember ordered.

Flames came out of Nidoking's mouth and blasted towards Victreebel who didn't dodge it in time.

"Victreebel!" Johnny cried out.

When the flames died down, Victreebel was still standing up with slight burns on it.

"Victreebel, are you okay? Can you still fight?" Johnny called out.

"Vic-Victreebel." Victreebel panted.

"Good. Now wrapped Nidoking up with Vine Whip!" Johnny commanded.

Victreebel summoned its Vine Whip and wrapped its vines around him.

"Thunder!" Ember shouted.

Bolts of electricity gathered around Nidoking and followed along Victreebel's vines, zapping the Grass/Poison type. Victreebel's vines slipped off of Nidoking and Victreebel fell on its back with swirling eyes. It fainted.

"Victreebel is unable to battle! The victory goes to Nidoking!"

"Yeah Nidoking!" Ember cheered.

Nidoking turned to her and smiled, "Nido."

"And there you go ladies and gentlemen! Ember Ketchum has won the semi-finals and now she'll move onto the Final round! Tomorrow we'll have the final Indigo League Pokémon Battle!"

The next day, Ember was going to have her final battle against a trainer named Assunta Sayuri. Even though in her male counter part's time, Ritchie lost to her, she wasn't going to let Assunta defeat her.

"We've finally come down to the final two! These trainers have been very impressive since they first walked onto the field! Let's introduce them, shall we? In the Green corner we have Ember Ketchum of Pallet Town!"

The crowd cheered loudly.

"And in the red corner is Assunta Sayuri of Celadon City!"

The crowd cheered loudly.

{A/N: I don't know where Assunta is from, so I just put in a city that might suit her}

Assunta let out her first Pokémon, "Go Rhydon!"

"Rhydon!" Rhydon appeared on the field.

Ember sent out her first Pokémon, "Go Lucario!"

"(Victory is at hand)." Lucario appeared on the field.

"Lucario versus Rhydon battle...begin!" The referee announced.

"Rhydon, use Horn Attack!" Assunta ordered.

Rhydon's horn glowed and it headed towards Lucario.

"Lucario, dodge and use Rain Dance!" Ember countered.

Lucario dodged Rhydon's attack and summoned rain clouds over the field and rain began coming down.

"Rhydon, use Stomp!" Assunta ordered.

Rhydon raised his foot and stomped it onto the ground.

"Lucario, jump and use Flash Cannon and then Double Ice Punch!" Ember commanded.

Lucario jumped and summoned a light from his hands which beamed at Rhydon who got blinded by the light. For Lucario, ice began to gather around his fists. Then he ran forward and punched both fists into Rhydon who was soon encased in ice.

"Rhydon!" Assunta cried out.

"Now Aura Sphere!" Ember ordered.

Lucario launched his attack towards the ice encased Rhydon. When it hit, Rhydon was free from the ice, however, it soon fainted. Rain Dance, Flash Cannon, Two Ice Punches, and an Aura Sphere gave a heavy affect on it.

"Rhydon is unable to battle! Lucario wins!"

"That was awesome, Lucario!" Ember cheered.

"(Thank you, Ember.)" Lucario smiled.

"Ember wins the first battle! Now who will win the next?"

Assunta returned Rhydon, "You did well, Rhydon." Then she sent out her second Pokémon, "Tentacool!"

"Tentacool." Tentacool appeared on the field.

Ember returned Lucario, "Get some rest, Lucario," She let out her second Pokémon, "Boltund!"

Boltund barked when he appeared on the field.

"Boltund versus Tentacool battle...begin!"

"Boltund, Electric Terrain." Ember ordered.

Boltund released multiple bolts of yellow electricity which turned the surrounding area to glow yellow. This will power up Boltund's Electric-type moves.

"Tentacool, use Hydro Pump!" Assunta ordered.

Tentacool shot its water attack towards Boltund.

"Boltund, dodge!" Ember countered.

Boltund dodged the water attack.

"Now Electro Ball!"

Boltund created an orange-yellow orb of electricity on his tail. It then flung the orb at Tentacool and electrocuted it.

"Tentacool!" Assunta cried out.

"Boltund, Thunderbolt!" Ember commanded.

Boltund released a powerful thunderbolt on Tentacool, electrocuting the water Pokémon. Then Tentacool fainted since Electric Terrain powered up all of Boltund's electric attacks, they were very strong and effective.

"Tentacool is unable to battle! Boltund wins!"

"Way to go, Boltund!" Ember cheered.

Boltund turned and smiled before he barked.

"Quite an interesting battle there folks. Boltund easily overcame Tentacool's water attacks. This is Ember's second win now. Can Assunta win the next one?"

Assunta let out her third Pokémon, "Venomoth!"

Ember returned Boltund, "Rest for now, Boltund," She let out her third Pokémon, "Comet!"

Comet the shiny Rapidash appeared on the field.

"Rapidash versus Venomoth battle...begin!"

"Venomoth, use Poison Powder!" Assunta ordered.

"Comet, Fire Spin to defend and then Sunny Day!" Ember countered.

Comet used Fire Spin to protect himself from the Poison Powder. Then he launched a bright orb into the sky and the sky became brighter which would boost up his Fire-type attacks.

"Now Heat Wave then Flame Charge!"

Comet immediately used Heat Wave, which made Venomoth lower itself to the ground. Then Comet was covered in flames and rammed into the Poison type Pokémon. Venomoth fainted with swirls in its eyes.

"Venomoth is unable to battle! Rapidash wins!"

"Well done, Comet!" Ember cheered.

"Neigh!" Comet neighed happily.

"Three times the charm ladies and gentlemen. Ember still has three more Pokemon while Assunta has lost three. Can Assunta make a comeback?"

Assunta returned Venomoth, "You were great, Venomoth," She sent out her fourth Pokémon, "Flareon!"

"Flareon!" Flareon appeared on the field.

"Good job Comet," Ember returned Comet and let out her next Pokémon, "Tynan!"

Tynan howled when he appeared on the field.

"Lycanroc versus Flareon battle...begin!"

"Flareon, use Flamethrower!" Flames burst from Flareon's mouth and headed straight towards Tynan.

"Tynan, dodge!" Tynan dodged the Flamethrower attack.

"Flareon, use Dig!" Flareon dug into the ground.

"Double Team and Stone Edge!" Tynan created copies of himself. Then he stomped one of his paws on the ground, causing pointed light blue rock pillars to appear out of the ground. Suddenly Flareon burst out of the ground and tumbling across the field.

"Flareon, are you okay?" Assunta called out.

Flareon got up slowly as it winced, "Flare-Flareon. (I'm-I'm okay.)"

"Okay then. Use Sand Attack!" Flareon summoned a small tornado of sand that headed towards Tynan.

"Rock Throw!" Tynan released circular multi-colored waves from his body, white orbs of aura appear in front of itself, before rocks form inside the orbs, leaving a white glow around the rocks. Combining the rocks with the Sand Attack as well. Then he shot the rocks towards Flareon.

"Flareon, dodge!" Flareon kept trying to dodge the rocks, but a few more hit it before creating a dust cloud.

"Flareon!" Assunta cried out.

When the cloud disappeared, it show Flareon with swirls in its eyes.

"Flareon is unable to battle! The victory goes to Lycanroc!"

Tynan howled at his victory.

"You rock, Tynan!" Ember cheered.

Tynan chuckled and smiled at Ember's words.

"What a battle folks! Ember's Midnight Form Lycanroc sure did great against Flareon! Now Assunta is down to two Pokémon! What will her next Pokémon be?"

Assunta returned Flareon, "You did your best, Flareon," She let out her next Pokémon, "Graveler, let's go!"

"Graveler!" Graveler appeared on the field.

Ember returned Tynan and let out her fifth Pokémon, "Come on out, Glaceon!"

"Glaceon!" Glaceon appeared on the field.

"Glaceon versus Graveler battle...begin!"

"Graveler, Tackle!" Graveler tucked its arms and legs and rolled towards Glaceon.

"Glaceon, dodge and use Blizzard!" Glaceon jumped out of the way and releases a gust of cold air from her body, causing snow to start falling. Graveler stopped rolling and winced at the cold.

"Now Icicle Spear!" Glaceon fired sharp, thin, spear-shaped ice shards from her mouth at Graveler.

Graveler winced as the ice hit it.

"Graveler, try to dodge!" Assunta ordered.

But Graveler couldn't.

"Ice Fang!" Ice formed in Glaceon's mouth and she ran towards Graveler. Then she bit him on the arm, incasing the rock Pokémon in ice.

"Graveler!" Assunta called out.

"Iron Tail!" Glaceon's tail glowed a metallic color and she slammed it into Graveler, breaking it out of the ice and rolling across the field, creating a dust cloud.

When the dust cleared, it showed Graveler with swirls in its eyes which meant that it fainted.

"Graveler is unable to battle! The victory goes to Glaceon!"

"Alright Glaceon!" Ember cheered.

"Glaceon!" Glaceon smiled.

"Graveler just couldn't handle the cold. Now Ember and Assunta are down to their last Pokemon. Which one with win this last battle?"

Assunta returned Graveler, "You were great, Graveler," She sent out her last Pokémon, "Ivysaur!"

"Saur!" Ivysaur appeared on the field.

"Ninetales!" Ninetales appeared on the field.

"Ninetales versus Ivysaur battle...begin!"

"Ivysaur, use Leech Seed!" Assunta ordered.

Ivysaur launched a seed that head straight towards Ninetales.

"Ninetales, Fire Spin!" Ninetales let out a tornado of fire from its mouth and it destroyed the Launch Seed and hit Ivysaur.

"Ivysaur!" Assunta called out.

When the flames died down, it showed Ivysaur with a few burns on it.

"Quick Ivysaur, use Venoshock!" Ivysaur's flower glowed white. It then fired multiple dark purple blobs of poison from its flower at Ninetales.

"Protect!" Ninetales projected a green colored barrier in front of herself, causing the blobs to bounce off the barrier.

"Now Hypnosis." Ember commanded.

Ninetales's eyes glowed red, then Ivysaur's glowed red before it started feeling drowsy and fell asleep.

"Ivysaur, please wake up!" Assunta called out.

"Zzzzzz." Was Ivysaur's response.

"Ninetales, Incinerate combined with Will-O-Wisp!" Ember ordered.

Ninetales's attack combined and shot towards the sleeping Ivysaur who soon got hit both fire attacks. Once the flames were gone, Ivysaur let out a puff of smoke and fainted.

"Ivysaur is unable to battle! Ninetales wins!" The referee announced, "The victory goes to Ember Ketchum of Pallet Town!"

"And that's it ladies and gentlemen! She's done it! Our Indigo League winner is...Ember Ketchum from Pallet Town! Our youngest winner ever, an 11 year old girl has won the league! Congratulations, Ember Ketchum and your Pokémon!"

The crowd cheered loudly for their winner. Ember was shocked. She couldn't believe it: she had won the Indigo League!

Ninetales went over to her trainer and nuzzled against her. Ember wrapped her arms around Ninetales's neck, "Great job, Ninetales! We won!"

"Ninetales! (Yeah we did!)" Ninetales yipped.

Tesla also joined the hug, "Raichu! (You were awesome!)"

Ember smiled, "All of you were awesome."

It was true. She was able to win the Indigo League because she believed in her Pokémon and her Pokémon believed in her.
