Here is the tenth Supplement for the Heart in 'Winning Takes Heart', released at the right time in the series. This is the conclusion to the recent Part in Winning (Part CXI) where the Mega Stone was found. This was always meant to be in the Supplement however I did change the format slightly when the vote on the Mega Stone concluded based on who won it. This is probably the only time a Supplement will conclude something in the main series but it is here mainly because this full test would detract from the main story, at least in my opinion, and for other reasons I will mention at the end. For those curious, the events of this Supplement take place between Parts CXI and CXII and about two or so days after the earlier Part. There isn't any other admin stuff to add here and as there were no questions to answer or guest reviews to respond to since the last Supplement so I will end it here. That means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the Winning's tenth Supplement For the Heart: Mega Evolution Training.

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon.

Mega Evolution Training

Ash, Dawn, May, and Serena all walked into the gym in the Tower of Mastery to see a rather strange sight before them. In the center of the battlefield were a series of machines, some of which they recognized but one they did not. The one none of them didn't know looked like a box thing with a clear panel showing a chamber inside and numerous buttons on the side. However, Ash did recognized the second machine as a smaller version of a Pokémon Transport machine. Lastly there was a computer terminal and keyboard connecting everything in the center of the mess.

The Shalour Gym was closed for the day so that this test could be conducted. Professor Sycamore, who was currently making final adjustments to the machines, had arrived just as Ash and his friends had returned from retrieving a Mega Stone located near Shalour City. He had apparently been busy setting all this up while Ash told Korrina and Gurkinn what had happened when he retrieved the stone.

While Ash had been trying to get the Mega Stone with Fletchinder, a wild Sigilyph had appeared to defend it for some reason. A battle ensued and Ash ended up having to catch the Sigilyph to save its life after knocking it out and sending it to the water in the bottom of the cavern.

Currently Sigilyph was with Professor Oak being evaluated, and the Professor was excited as he'd never seen one before, so he was taking his time with it. When that was done, providing it didn't need extra socializing like Conkeldurr did, it would be sent to Professor Sycamore's lab to be part of Ash's Kalos rotation.

That was for later though, for now they had to focus on the task at hand, identifying the Mega Stone Ash had recovered. Professor Sycamore was finishing calibrating the machine they couldn't identify while Korrina, her Lucario, and Gurkinn looked on having gotten to the gym before Ash and his companions. Ash decided that it was best to just approach them and wait for Sycamore to finish before doing anything.

"Ah Ash, you're here, good." Sycamore said as he hit a power switch, and everything turned on. "We just need a moment to make sure that everything is calibrated and for Oak and Birch to confirm on their ends that they have everything set up for quick retrieval before we continue. Though we can check the Mega Stone first I think."

"Why are Professors Birch and Oak needed?" May asked confused as to why hers and Ash's regional Professors were involved in this.

"To make sure that what we might need from Kanto or Hoenn are ready beforehand." Sycamore said. "I've arranged with them to have all the Pokémon that either Ash or May have that are capable of Mega Evolution to be in their balls and ready to transport at a moment's notice to potentially test the Stone. Dawn's two are also similarly ready in my lab, as is her Vileplume should the Mega Stone be Pinsirite. On that note, Ash and May, you should be ready to send Charizard and Blaziken to my lab should one of your Pokémon be compatible with this new Mega Stone."

"Why?" Ash asked confused. "I don't understand most of this Professor, but I will do anything to help you out."

"Though it isn't confirmed yet, I have a theory that a trainer cannot have two or more Mega Stones in his or her team at one time." Sycamore explained. "Arceus, we aren't even sure if either of you can use this regardless of whether or not you have a Pokémon. As of right now there is no recorded trainer who has been able to Mega Evolve multiple Pokémon though none have had multiple Mega Stones for their Pokémon. Even Alain didn't have that, and he has two other Mega Evolution capable Pokémon in addition to his Charizard on him right now."

"I see, it has something to do with the bond then." Korrina said thoughtfully. "That does make some sense as bonds vary from Pokémon to Pokémon under the same trainer. I only have Lucario so I couldn't test it regardless, none of my other Pokémon can't Mega Evolve."

"That is the theory but as you pointed out, bonds with Pokémon are unique to that Pokémon and its trainer so it shouldn't be an issue." Sycamore said. "It's just a theory though and one that may be tested today. However, the more plausible and potentially dangerous theory is that if two Mega Stones are in the same team they could cause issues when Mega Evolving one of the Pokémon."

"That does make sense as either might be trigger by touching the Key Stone." Gurkinn said with a nod. "And if one is in its Poke Ball then it could be even worse."

"Precisely and seeing as we don't know what they are, we frankly don't want to test it." Sycamore said. "Well, that and the fact that the Kalos League has limited Mega Evolution to one Pokémon per team for fairness and the other Leagues will do that as well when they allow Mega Evolution in their Conferences in the coming years."

"That makes sense." Ash said understanding the logic of the Conferences. "Don't want someone getting to big of an advantage from that as it takes away fairness. That was an issue when I was in the Lily of the Valley Conference, and I heard that they changed the rules after that one so that someone like Tobias can't do that again. With Mega Evolution though, I fell like one can be countered but anymore would be hard."

"That is exactly how the Kalos League sees it." Sycamore said as the machine beeped to signal that it was on, and that everything was connected. "Which is why we've taken precautions. This is mainly for Ash as he has several Pokémon that can Mega Evolve while May and Dawn have two each and May already has a Blazikenite for her Blaziken. Of course, it could be for any of them or one that none of you have."

"So should I transfer Charizard now?" Ash asked pulling out Charizard's Poke Ball and realizing that this was a good opportunity to sort something else out at the same time. "I do want to bring in Conkeldurr as soon as possible. Professor Oak said that he was ready for me though I should expect some stubbornness at first, but I can handle that."

"Yes I think that is best, but can I ask that you send Charizard to my lab and not Samuel's." Sycamore said. "Yours's Mega Evolution is different to Alain's Charizard which was how we were able to determine that Charizard has two Mega Stones that correspond with it. It would be nice to study it and the lab is large enough for him."

"I don't see a problem in that but if he wants to go back to Pallet Town do send him back." Ash said handing over the Poke Ball to Sycamore. "There is more space there for him."

"Of course, I will make that clear to him." Sycamore said with a nod as he went to the machine that the nutcase Dr. Akihabara had created and placed Charizard's ball in it. "And I understand, I am more limited in Lumiose City than the other Professors who are in small towns."

The Kalos Professor then went to the computer and tapped in a few things on the keyboard. A second later the ball vanished and Charizard was sent to his new temporary home, but Ash was certain he'd see his old friend again before the end of the year. When that was done Sycamore turned back to them.

"Ash, the Mega Stone please." Sycamore said holding out his hand. "It's time to check it out."

"Right, here it is." Ash said taking it out of his pocket and handing it over to the Professor.

Sycamore took the stone and held it up to the natural light in the gym to look at it. He studied it for a moment as he tried to recalled all the other stones he'd seen before to determine if he could identify it without the machine. However, he quickly realized that he couldn't identify this one.

"Yup, this is not one that I've seen before." Sycamore said surprising them. "But it does mean that I can rule out some Pokémon right off the bat."

"Really?" Dawn asked. "Which ones?"

"Lucario for one." Sycamore said pointing to Korrina's Lucario who held up its forearm at her direction to show a Mega Stone in the cloth bracer on its forearm that while it had roughly the same orange color had a blue swirl with a red streak in it showing that it was clearly different form the one that Ash had retrieved. "That is different. It was also different to either of the Charizardites, as well as any others that I have seen."

"Which ones have you seen?" Ash asked curiously.

"Let's see." Sycamore said thinking on the few Mega Stones he'd been able to see long enough to identify them. "I've seen the stones for Gardevoir, Garchomp, Abomasnow, Houndoom, Audino, and Metagross in addition to Charizard, Blaziken and Lucario. I've seen more Mega Evolutions, last year's Lumiose Conference featured a final clash between a Mega Garchomp and a Mega Sceptile to decide the winner, but I never saw the latter trainer's Mega Stone. I can safely say that this stone is not for any of those Pokémon."

"That is interesting." May said thoughtfully before remembering something. "Wait, hasn't Alain been collecting them for you? Surely you've seen those ones."

"He has but he's constantly traveling so he and Mairin haven't sent any back as a precaution against theft." Sycamore said. "Plus, he says some are either too challenging for him to get, though he has been able to determine who they are for, or he can't give them to me for various reasons."

"He's keeping some?" Serena asked confused.

"No, well yes if he finds another Charizardite like the one Lysander gave him." Sycamore said. "There are just some he knows others can use. Recently he found a Mega Stone he's saving for an old friend we know as she has the corresponding Pokémon, and he wants her to have it and a Key Stone when he next sees her."

"Really?" May asked with a grin. "Is this a girlfriend for the stoic Alain. I didn't think he had anyone he was interested in as Mairin is too young and like a little sister to him."

"I don't think she's his girlfriend." Sycamore said thinking. "He does speak about Sabi a fair bit as they've been in contact since she left Kalos about 5 years ago and talking of her always softened him, especially in recent times after the incident, but I don't think they're an item."

"Shame, I would have loved to tease him." May said as Dawn turned to give Ash a look but he was clueless, so it was clear only she realized who Sycamore was talking about but decided to keep it to himself. "Oh well, if we see him I'll still bring it up."

"Mairin will probably help you." Sycamore said before going back to the topic at hand, the Mega Stones Alain and Mairin currently had. "However, that's not the only complication. There's another Mega Stone that we know of out there, but the owner won't part with it or reveal the Pokémon it is for. All she said was that she knows which Pokémon it is for and will give it to a trainer who she knows has that Pokémon and the right bond. How she'll know is a mystery, but she refused to help so Alain and Mairin left it with her."

"That is annoying but if it is hers then she has that right." May said. "I'm just looking forward to seeing who this stone is for. Personally, I hope it's for Venusaur."

"I doubt it." Sycamore said looking over the Mega Stone in his hand again. "Usually, the color is some indication as to the Pokémon, or at least close enough, and Venusaur is not known to have any of these colors. Plus, they seem to form in areas that are significant to that Pokémon. My money is that this is for a flying or rock type, maybe a water, based on the description Ash gave about where it was. It does kinda look like one Alain described, the one he's saving for his friend, but let's find out shall we."

With that Sycamore turned to the unidentifiable machine and opened the panel. He then placed the Mega Stone in a contraption in the middle before closing the panel and pressing a few buttons. The machine began to whir, and energy coursed through it. Sycamore just studied the machine as it began to identify the Mega Stone.

"How does it work?" Ash asked as they waited.

"This machine is able to run the Mega Energy given off by a Mega Stone." Sycamore explained. "And from there it tells me what Pokémon it can work for as there is something within Mega Energy that can be matched to a particular Pokémon species' DNA. The only limits to Mega Evolution that we have found is that the Pokémon has to be either fully evolved or cannot evolve for it to Mega Evolution as it is beyond normal evolution. At least that is the evidence we have based on what Pokémon we know can Mega Evolve."

"That makes sense." Dawn said as Piplup looked sad at that. "Sorry Piplup."

"There are no restriction to Dynamaxing a Pokémon though." Sycamore said surprising them, especially as none of them knew what that was. "That can be done to any Pokémon and is temporary as well though it has different limits and effects."

"Dynamaxing?" Serena asked confused, the others joining her. "What is that? I don't think any of us have heard about that phenomenon before."

"It is something that can only occur in Galar so there's no reason for you to have heard about it." Sycamore said. "While it requires special materials, it can be used on any Pokémon, but it can only occur over certain natural vents in Galar where the energy required is found and Magnolia, my counterpart in Galar, is still unsure what that energy is. All she knows is that it is only found in Galar and there is a time limit on how long a Dynamax can last, about three moves I believe."

"Interesting." Ash said eager to learn more and maybe even see it one day if he ever visited Galar. "What does it do?"

"It makes the Pokémon grow to a massive size." Sycamore said as if it was nothing. "And limits their moves to something generic with the move type and where it is offensive or defensive I believe. I am not to sure though. As I said, it can only occur in Galar so only Magnolia studies it, but it is her specialty."

"What!" May exclaimed only hearing the first part of Sycamore's statement. "It can make a Pokémon grow?"

"Dynamaxing caused a Pokémon to grow to a huge size and any Pokémon can be Dynamaxed as Magnolia calls it." Sycamore said. "In fact, of the 8 Galarian gyms, 7 are built over these vents with the only exception being the Spikemuth gym. The finals arena is also built over one and there are a handful in the wild areas of the continent as well. This is why in Galar gym battles are spectator sports and challengers have to challenge them in a specific order. Some gyms even have two leaders who alternate and have different types. They do things a little differently over there."

"Clearly." Ash said shaking his head as he tried to wrap it around what was going on in Galar and unable to do so. "I guess Kalos made the most sense for me then as it follows the typical structure that I'm used to."

"It's a traditional format that has worked well for years so most regions don't mess with it, though Unova does have more than 8 gyms to offer more variety." Sycamore said. "Only Galar and Alola don't follow this structure that I know about don't have follow the standard structure, but Alola will in about 5 years' time. They're doing their first Conference this year."

Ash was about to ask more when there was a sudden ding from the machine bringing all their attention to it and what they were actually doing here today. It was no longer glowing which indicated that it was done and had determined what the Mega Stone was so Sycamore turned to the computer.

"Alright, this Mega Stone is…" Sycamore said looking at readout on the computer screen. "Pidgeotite."

"Ash." Dawn said looking to him her eyes just as wide as his were.

"I know." Ash said. "And he's one of my oldest. Older than Charizard even despite the release after he evolved that I forgot about."

"What are you talking about?" Serena asked confused.

"Ash has a Pidgeot, it is one of his Mega Evolution capable Pokémon but it's one that I haven't seen before." Sycamore said going over to the transport machine and punching a few buttons on it to send the command to Professor Oak's computer regarding the Pokémon he needed before he turned back to Ash. "It should be here in a moment. Do you think your bond with Pidgeot is strong enough for Mega Evolution, Ash?"

"I think so." Ash said thinking on his history with his Pidgeot. "Pidgeot was my second ever capture, so third Pokémon, I caught him as a Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest. He was with me during my first year but after the Indigo Conference, we were in the forest again and a Fearow that had been the Spearow I'd pissed off on my first day as a trainer attacked and during that Pidgeotto evolved into Pidgeot to protect me and the other Pidgeys and Pidgeottos in the forest. After that I released him to protect the flock but promised to return for him after I was done in the Orange Islands."

"But you didn't did you?" May asked. "Because I never saw it when I was in Pallet Town before our year in Kanto and I met all your Pokémon that were currently there at the time."

"No, I didn't." Ash said embarrassed and remorseful at his mistake. "I forgot about him and as I was never in Viridian Forest again, so I never crossed paths with him until last year when Dawn and I traveled the forest to Pewter City, well and from it on our way back from Johto but I never saw Pidgeot the first time."

"But you did the second time." May surmised ignoring the Johto reference and the slight ache of pain it caused in her heart. "Or else you wouldn't have used it in the Indigo Conference."

"Correct." Ash said with a nod. "It was as we were leaving the forest when he found me and accosted me. I apologized and realized how strong he'd become and offered to make good on my promise that I'd broken years prior. Pikachu helped and in the end Pidgeot agreed if Pikachu and I could beat him again like when I first caught him, which we did. He was with me in my full battle with Misty and again against Lyra in the finals."

"Hmm, and how many years was it between releasing and then recapturing him?" Sycamore asked. "That could be important."

"About 6." Ash said shamefully. "Instead of the one it should have been."

"And he still recognized and came back to you when he saw you in the forest." Sycamore said stroking his chin. "That is a deep bond to still have that kind of reaction after over half a decade as a wild Pokémon again. I think it can work."

As if on cue the transport machine made a noise and Sycamore turned to it to see a Poke Ball had materialized in it. The scanner said that it contained a Pidgeot that was registered to Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town. With a hint of anticipation at seeing a new Mega Evolution, Sycamore picked up the ball and then handed it to Ash.

"Well let's see if it works." Sycamore said as Ash took the ball and he headed to get the Pidgeotite out of the other machine. "Send out Pidgeot, Ash."

Ash nodded and turned away from the machines and opened the Poke Ball where the was space for his Bird Pokémon. The large, normal and flying, Kanto Pokémon burst out with a caw and flew around the gym. Pidgeot was a little surprised the day before when the Professor came to him as he and the other flying types were preparing for a race, that he intended to win, and told him that Ash might need him, so he needed to be in his ball for a bit just in case Ash required him.

Pidgeot hadn't understood fully what was going on but was pleased that he might be with Ash soon. Usually, the Pokémon on the ranch didn't see Ash when he was in a new region and while Pidgeot was still a little pissed at the whole forgetting about him for several years, he'd forgiven Ash and renewed their bond, especially when he helped Ash advance to the finals for the first time. That was why he didn't complain when he was returned to his Poke Ball and waited to see if he was needed.

It appeared that Ash did need him, and he flew around the unfamiliar location, a gym if he had to guess based on the style and battlefield, to stretch and get his bearings. Then he returned to land in front of Ash. As he did, he felt something that he'd never felt before but on a deep, instinctual level, he knew that it was meant for him, or at least Pidgeots in general. That made him both antsy and anticipatory to find out what it was, so he waited for Ash to explain it.

"Hey Pidgeot, you're looking well." Ash said ruffling his Pokémon's head as it cawed and nuzzled him glad to be back with Ash for a bit. "I have another new flying type from this region just as I have caught in all the others I've been to so you can meet Fletchinder soon but first, I need your help with something that only you can help with."

Pidgeot cawed in confusion as he looked at Ash. He wasn't sure what help that would be, maybe a battle which he was more than happy to have, but he had a feeling it wasn't to do with that but rather the presence he was feeling. If that was it then it was certainly something more important than a battle.

"Do you remember the stone that Charizard wears on his forearm?" Ash asked and Pidgeot nodded, he'd seen it when Charizard returned from facing a Magmortar that he had a long-standing rivalry with, and he'd explained to the others what it did when they asked about it. "Well, that is a Mega Stone, it can Mega Evolve a certain Pokémon past its final for temporarily so long as the Pokémon has a close bond with the trainer."

Pidgeot cocked his head at that. That was certainly what Charizard had said, he said he'd gone past the normal constraints of being a Charizard and powered up in ways he couldn't imagine before. It had given him the edge against Magmortar in that battle that he'd won in impressive fashion and thoroughly bragged about as they all did when it came to their great victories.

"Well, it turns out that Pidgeots can Mega Evolve as well." Ash said getting Pidgeot's attention. "Along with a few of the others back home. We just went to get one of those Mega Stones and it turns out to be Pidgeotite, the Mega Stone especially for Pidgeots."

At that Pidgeot cawed in surprise. It explained the presence he felt, and he suddenly looked around for it eager to try it out for himself. Charizard had made it sound so cool that he wanted to see it for himself. Now he was actually going to experience it rather than just see Charizard use his. That was even better and made Pidgeot want to battle in that new form to remind the other birds who the king of Ash's flock was.

Sycamore noticed this behavior and smiled as he went to Ash and handed him the Mega Stone. If this worked, he'd have to figure out a way for Pidgeot to hold the stone as it was rightfully Ash's because he'd gone through the risks of getting it. It would probably take the form of an ankle cuff of sorts, but Sycamore could work on that after the test was done to see if Ash could Mega Evolve his Pidgeot.

Ash accepted the stone and looked at Pidgeot who was now staring intently at the Mega Stone knowing that it was for his kind. Ash had to think for a moment with how Pidgeot would hold it though as he didn't have hands so there were only two options with him.

"Alright Pidgeot." Ash said as he came to his decision and held out the Mega Stone. "I want you to take this in your foot and then fly around the gym. I'll activate it with my Key Stone, the thing on my glove, and try to Mega Evolve you."

Pidgeot nodded in agreement and leapt into the air, flapping his wings to maintain his altitude. He then took the stone in his right foot and began to fly high into the large room and around it waiting for the change. Charizard had told him that his bond with Ash had done it and Pidgeot focused on that and how deep his own bond with Ash was from all the years they'd known each other, despite the break, and waited.

"Pidgeot, for the first time, break past your max and Mega Evolve." Ash said as he touched the Key Stone set into his glove.

As with Charizard, Ash wasn't sure how to describe the feeling, but he knew that it was right the moment he touched it. The bond was there as his and Pidgeot's hearts became one. That was when red light shot out of the stones and connected in the air. Then Pidgeot glowed with the Mega Energy and began to change as he flew.

The change wasn't much, not like with Charizard when he Mega Evolved but there were two noticeable ones. The first change that was that Pidgeot got bigger, most notably with his wings as they seemed to extend and bit and the wingspan increased as he flew, and they could all see the power in them. His tail also broadened.

The other major change was that his crest got bigger, wilder, and a long, elaborate, strand of it shot out front the center and behind Pidgeot until it was past the end of his tail while another strand shot out in front. Then the Mega Evolution faded, and they all gasped at the real change.

Pidgeot's plumage had complete changed. He was no longer cream and brown but now an off white where the cream was and orange where the brown had been. His large wings were mostly the off white now other than the top part of it and the tops of the end feathers were blue. As were the tips of his tail feathers while the rest were dark pink. That dark pink was also the color of the wild, long strand of his crest, as well as the one out the front and the left quarter while the rest was yellow.

All in all, he looked a lot stronger and faster just as he should after being Mega Evolved. That was shown when he suddenly picked up speed and began blazing around the gym faster than eye could really see. He was just an orange blur as he got used to his new, albeit temporary, form.

Pidgeot cawed in joy as he fully unleashed his potential and sped up. He had never been this fast, this strong, or this powerful in his life. He knew he could generate whirlwinds that would be impressive to say the least but the biggest boost he felt was in his endurance and stamina. He felt like he could fly for at least a week without rest, probably longer. Now all he had to do was battle in this form to truly test how much better it was.

"Amazing." Sycamore said looking at a Mega Pidgeot for the first time and knew that he'd have to ask Ash to send Pidgeot to his lab as well to study it while Ash was in Kalos. "It can really fly can't it. That proves that a trainer can Mega Evolve two Pokémon so long as his bond with them is deep enough."

"Yeah and I want to face it." Korrina said looking at Lucario who nodded while the girls just smiled, they all knew that Ash had a really deep bond with all his Pokémon so it wasn't a surprise that he could Mega Evolve multiple Pokémon. "What do you say Ash? We didn't get to have it in our battle because you wouldn't use Charizard against me but how about a Mega Evolution battle right now against me and Lucario."

"Pidgeot, you up for that." Ash called up to his Pokémon to make sure that Mega Pidgeot wanted it as much as he did. "Korrina can Mega Evolve her Lucario so do you want to test your strength?"

Pidgeot cawed in agreement before looking at Lucario and cawing a challenge at it. Lucario grinned and barked a challenge right back at it before looking to his trainer and pointing to his own Mega Stone to indicate that he was ready.

"That's it Lucario." Korrina said as she began to do her martial arts moves. "Unlock your power within. Mega Evolve."

With that Korrina slammed her hand on her own Key Stone and the same phenomenon happened between them as it did between Ash and Pidgeot. As Lucario began to Mega Evolve, Sycamore realized a slight problem that was suddenly caused by the two slightly gung-ho trainers that were about to duke it out with two Mega Evolved Pokémon.

"Can you guys and any Pokémon help." Sycamore said as he turned off the machines and began to unplug them as quickly but safely as possible. "We need to get this stuff to safety before this battle starts. Knowing Ash's reputation and Korrina's style, this will get destructive."

"I got just the helpers; they owe me for the last time they were here and made fools of themselves." Dawn said tossing out Machamp and Malamar's Poke Balls and surprising Sycamore with new Pokémon, they weren't what he was expecting. "Machamp, Malamar, help the Professor clear this equipment so we can watch this match."

"You two Blaziken." May said tossing out her own Poke Ball to help out as well. "Lend us a hand with this so we can get it done quickly."

Between the two fighting types, Sycamore, and a really pissed off Malamar that was going to slap Dawn for this use of her as it was undignified and thus slap worthy, they were able to quickly get the stuff off the battlefield and safely out of the gym before hurrying to the spectator area. None of them wanted to miss the battle that was about to begin.

As they were doing this, Gurkinn took his place at the ref's spot and Korrina and Mega Lucario headed to their own starting box while Ash when to his. Pidgeot soared around one more time before he came to hover in front of Ash, slowly beating his wings as he looked at his fellow Mega Evolved Pokémon ready to battle, as was Mega Lucario who was already in a fighting stance.

"Alright this practice battle between Ash and Korrina is about to begin." Gurkinn said as Dawn, May, Serena, Sycamore, Machamp, Malamar, and Blaziken all appeared in the spectator's area to watch the match. "This will be a simple one on one match to test out Mega Pidgeot and I can call it at any time. Please do not be as destructive as last time Ash, the gym does need to be open again tomorrow."

"I'll try not to." Ash said sheepishly while the girls just winced and Malamar glared at Ash for what he did to his mate.

"Good then begin." Gurkinn said.

"Mega Pidgeot, start us of with…"

Oh, I am evil aren't I, but I just couldn't resist ending it there with that cliffhanger. I'm not going to write this battle, nor do I know how it will end. I'll leave that up to y'all's imaginations to determine how you'd like this battle to end. Anyway, the reason why this is in the Supplement and not the main series is because it was Pidgeot who won the vote for the Mega Stone and as such it was more fitting to have it here as Ash won't be using Pidgeot in Winning. He will use Mega Pidgeot in Hearts 5, but I won't say when or where. I had initially planned on the Mega Stone being Lucarionite but in the end decided to let y'all vote and was going to either take the winner or the highest vote getter that wasn't one of the two I couldn't do in this situation. Fortunately, Pidgeot won, and it worked out better as it is one of Ash's oldest Pokémon and I don't think Ash's bond with Lucario is deep enough yet for Mega Evolution. Well, that and the whole berserk thing that Mega Lucarios do the first time their Mega Evolved, which is a tough challenge to write and too much of a distraction as it would probably take some chapters and a trip to that Mega Mawile woman to sort out which would have caused problems with the main story and made the gang miss their next big events. Anyway, that is all I have for y'all in this post Supplement note so as always please continue favorite and follow both me and this story to keep abreast with new releases and keep the reviews coming. Until next time.
