Mystic Falls, VA (2009)

It's been a few centuries since that battle between Naruto and the Edo member, Zuna. Since the Petrova siblings had joined Paradox. A lot of things have changed since then for one, Paradox has grown into the most powerful supernatural organization in the entire world. New members joined the ranks some even filled out the ten. Secondly, Naruto and Aurora's son turned out to be a vampire. Which made sense since both of his parents are vampires and their vampire gene would have been the more powerful gene out of the two.

Even though paradox has prospered throughout the years. There have been a few setbacks they have faced. For one instant they lost Katerina, is there an admission that Katerina and Flare have gone on and, on that mission, they tangled with an Eros member it was a hard-fought battle, but Katrina was put under a spell and disappeared. She hasn't been seen since. Paradox was in disarray they searched high and low for Katerina, but they had no luck finding her. She has improved in covering her tracks during her time with Paradox. Not one to turn his back on the family especially when they're in trouble, Naruto had sent Flare and Kaleb on a long-term mission of finding Katerina and bringing her back to Paradox. So, they can remove the spell that she is under.

Also, Paradox has moved its headquarters from France to Japan. More importantly Kyoto Japan, the place where his mother was born. Before they took over Kyoto was a bearing wasteland filled with so much destruction. This is was the aftermath of a war between warriors and an Oni. It took a couple of years, but Naruto and his family were able to bring Kyoto back to its beautiful self once again.

Naruto himself has improved over time; with the help of his wife Aurora and Shisui one of the ten. Naruto's vampire skills have improved so much to the point that he doesn't have to use his witch side that much in battles. During the late 1980s, Naruto took a trip to Mystic Falls where he stayed for ten years before he had to leave. There Naruto met the beautiful and lovely Miranda Sommers. Naruto attended Mystic Falls High and dated Miranda for all four years. But they ended the relationship because Naruto had to prepare for a war that was brewing in Europe between Paradox and Edos. Before he left Naruto bestowed Miranda a crystal necklace as a token of their love. But that was not the only thing that he did.

During his time in Mystic Falls, he met one of the descendants of his good friend Ayana. Sheila and Abby Bennett. He taught them everything that he knows about magic and taught a few spells that will help them protect this town and their family. It wasn't until 1992 when they needed to use those spells to fight against Mikael. After Abby sealed away Mikael at the cost of her magic, Sheila cast a barrier spell that will protect the town against supernatural threats. And it did for years, until May 2009 when the town lost Miranda and Grayson Gilbert in a car accident. When their car went off Wickery Bridge and dived straight into the water. Only, their daughter Elena Gilbert survived the crash and Miranda was missing from the scene.

At that same time, two brothers made their return to Mystic Falls and things started to change. And none of it was good for the town.

September 2009

A 2010 Yamaha R1 drove down the road heading in one direction, Mystic Falls. The person riding this beautiful motorcycle happens to be Irene Uzumaki. Now, you must be asking yourself, why is Irene heading towards Mystic Falls? And the answer to that question is simple. She is on a mission to keep a close eye on the Salvatore Brothers. And find out information about the disappearance of one of their own, Pearl. But those weren't the only reason why she was heading towards Mystic Falls.

Naruto wanted her to have a chance at a normal life even though it was only for a little bit. You see since they left their homeland to travel the world, Irene never got the chance to live a normal teenage life. Sure, her dad tried his best to make sure that her childhood was normal, but she was unable to live her teenage experience as she spent most of her time training and working. Naruto felt that this was a perfect opportunity for Irene to finally have a normal high school girl experience.

Irene pulled up to the house that Naruto bought for her. It was the same house that he stayed in when he was staying in Mystic Falls the second time. It was a beautiful mansion house in the middle of nowhere but not too far from the town. Even though Naruto loved being around people he also valued his privacy, and away from prying eyes when he wanted to work on his magic. Irene got off her bike and walked around the property for a bit before she headed inside.

As she walked around the garden, Irene sensed something further down the yard, so she walked towards it. She came to a stop right in front of a tree; to an ordinary person this is just a regular tree, but to someone like Irene this tree was just a mere illusion that her father had put up.

Irene dispelled the illusion and watched as the tree vanished from her sight. In the place of the tree was a statue, but not just any statue it was a statue of her mother, Amara Petrova-Uzumaki. A tear fell down Irene's face as she stared at the statue of her mother.

"Mom," she whispered as her hand touched the statue's face.

Irene looked down at the plaque under the statue and reads "In honor of Amara Petrova-Uzumaki. A mother, a wife, and a friend. She lived her life to the fullest and made the darkest days shine bright with her beauty, smile, and positivity. Though she may be gone her will lives on in our daughter, Irene Petrova-Uzumaki. I love you my sunshine and I miss you,"

"I miss you so much, mom and I wish you were here with us. I know you're watching over dad and me, from the other side. And you're smiling down on us. Save me a seat up there. I love you," Irene said as she kissed the statue of her mother.

She put the illusion back up and headed inside as it was getting late. Irene starts her first day as a regular high school student. "Got a big day tomorrow might as well get ready,"

"You and I both,"

A/N: Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this short chapter of mine. I just wanted to put something out there before we headed into the pilot episode of the show. As you can see I made a few changes to the story. Don't worry we are going to go in-depth into Naruto's time in Mystic Falls and his relationship with Miranda.

Overall these next few chapters are going to be 2,000 - 3,000 words. So, yeah I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and I can't wait for you guys to read what else I have in store for this series.
