AN: ok so there are some extra characters but I don't want anyone to like say them wrong in their head cuz then it would be weird because the names would be too similar. So it's Kiara which is k-ee-air-a so Kiara isn't K-ear-a. Just clarifying, sorry if it's annoying.

She's running away. She can see Krypton, her planet, crumbling around her, she can hear the kids screaming for their parents - she hears herself scream as a chunk of the sky falls worryingly close to my face. This planet needs someone, and she's running away. Surprisingly, the world falling apart isn't the first thing on her mind.

My sister. Where is she? Is she okay, is she hurt? Oh God, she'll need her, she needs me!

She's panicking and all she can breathe out to her father who is dragging her by the hand towards the port is, "Dad, Kara..." She was only ten, who was she to escape a crumbling planet.

He swiftly assured her that Mom was getting her. She was still scared for her but a little less so than before knowing she has someone with her. They continue running through the fracturing city until they reached the port. They waited for an agonisingly long time for them to arrive.

Alex felt her sister in her arms, long before I realise she is even there. They grasp each other tightly, as their parents take a step towards us, reminding them they have to hurry. We pull away and I'm suddenly aware of the tears tracks that run down Kara's face and the miserable look adorned on her face.

The pod seal opened but it only had two seats. Kara looked down while Alex looked questioningly at their parents. Only two. She counts again to be sure. One, two. Alex was fairly sure their parents had had four children. She voices her concerns at Kara cries silently beside her.

"Mom? Dad? I-" another earth quake ripples through the room. "Kiara and Aros?" Kara chokes on a sob.

"Kara will explain while you're on the ship now go!" Mom pushes us towards the ship and Kara climbied in, still sobbing as she hugged our parents goodbye. Alex hugs her father briefly and her mother tightly and she whispered in her ear, "Aksira hu, aksira heh, aksira bymutal. Te qiero, jis kynak." Take care of him, take care of her and take care of yourself. I love you, my darling.

Alex nods as silent tears stream down her face. She jumps in next to her younger sister and holds her tightly as she cries loudly.

The ship takes off and they see their city being destroyed. But they had a job to do. They weren't going to give it up. Even through their tears, the sisters try to keep an eye on the spaceship in front of them.

As they reach space, the planet finally gives out. The elder girl covers her sister's eyes as their home finally disintegrates behind them. She hugs the younger tightly against her chest and let's out a hollow cry. And for a minute or several, they bask in each other's presence, knowing that for the journey to come and the task that lay ahead of them was going to be hard. But at least they have each other. And that is enough. At least, it is for them.

After a long session of sobbing, turbulence rattles the ship and they lose sight of the ship that carried their cousin. Alex tries to stay calm but suddenly doesn't know how to as the ship they occupy starts wobbling uncontrollably. She can feel Kara's breathing picking up also as she ship starts to jutter harder. She hears her whispering a mumbled variety of sentences, poorly placed and even slipping into Kryptonian every now and then. She can barely make it out but she even picks up an "I'm sorry" every now and then.

She presses various buttons trying to find one to stop their impending doom until one of them causes a gas to shoot out, but only on her end. She tries to reach out to Kara's but her eyelids too heavy to hold open for long after inhaling the sedative.

Kara feels the hand around her eyes go slack. "Alex?" She asks nervously, her eyes still tightly scrunched shut. "Alex?" She opens her eyes and and sees where they are. "Al, we're in the Phantom Zone." Eventually, her eyes rest on her unconscious older sister. "Oh no. No, oh no, Alex? Please?" She asks brokenly. "Alex, wake up!"

She stays like that for a while. Unresponsive but twitching slightly on occasion, her chest rising and falling. So Kara carries on talking to her. "I'm so sorry, Al," She whispers, "it was all my fault. They were protecting me."

She remembered it clearly. The crashes that woke her up. The pain in the back of her head. Kiara shaking her arm, telling her to wake up, Kara. She moaned at her before she fully woke up and saw the tears on her sister's face and their brother on the floor. "Oh my God, A! what happened?" She ran and sat on his left side, holding his hand and whispering things that varied from "I love you," to "please don't leave us." Her sister followed her and sat on his right.

"You were asleep and some people came; they said it was Mom's fault," she sniffed, "they didn't know you would be here but they didn't care, they tried to hurt you, Kara, and," a sob, "he was protecting you, Kara." They sobbed there together, on either side of him for a while before another earthquake juttered the room, "Kara..."

Kara looked up for the first time since she saw my older brother on the floor, her sister was looking skyward. She looked to where the seventeen-year-old's eyes were glued above her.

Before she knew what was happening, Kiara had dove over Aros, pushing Kara out of the way of the tree-sized chandelier that fell from the ceiling of her room. Suddenly, she was underneath it and on top of their brother's body.

"Kiara..." She asked wearily, "Ki, why would you do that?" She cried as she crawled back to them, "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Get up, come on, get up!" She tried to pull at her arm but she was exhausted and tired and the mysterious throbbing on the back of her head was only getting worse. She just didn't have the strength to pull a 30 kilo chandelier off of her sister's dying body.

"Kar-bear, don't cry..." She spoke calmly, the calmest Kara has ever seen her hyperactive sister. She knew what that meant. "I'll be with A, now.

"You should find Alex," she whispered looking far away, "tell her I love her. And Mom." Kara nodded, still sobbing, "and Kara, I love you." Her eyes drifted close.

"Kiara?" Then an ear-splitting wail, "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!" She cried harder, "please don't leave me here alone." she pleaded.

"Then that's how Mom found me," she continues, "with K and A dead and me in the corner." Dying inside, she forgets to add. "I'm sorry. It's all my fault.

"I'm so sorry."

Ok so I'm starting a chapter story about a what if Alex was Kryptonian. Supergirl is so great. I do love Lena so she will probably be in Midvale but like I've always wondered what it would be like if Alex was Kryptonian. My update schedule will be sketchy cuz I update really tightly together or I forget so I'll try to do like once a week so ye enjoy.
