Olivia read the instructions and carefully tore open the package. This was her chance to be popular. She was not going to be known as the Geek who can't get a Greek after today. Her boyfriend in a bag would transform her image. She shook the bag and a giant orbeez fell on the counter. It was a huge ball. She simply had to add water.
"Okay, I'm supposed to leave you outside in the rain for 24 hours." Olivia said to the blob.
Olivia looked outside. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. She checked the forecast on her phone. No rain until next week.
"This is so not fair. I paid a thousand bucks for a boyfriend, and no rain."
Think Olivia. She slapped her cheek when she realized the obvious. "You can sit in the shower for 24 hours."

She was going to be a bombshell. The phone rang while Olivia daydreamed of being homecoming queen.
"Hello?"
"Olivia, do you have a date for homecoming yet?"
"Yes, I do."
"Oh, I guess we can't go together...who is he?"
"His name is Fitz."
"I really like you Olivia."
"You're my lab partner Edison. Let's keep it that way."
"Okay, I guess I'll see you in class."
"Yeah."
