Ye Huangyu, halfway from home back then thought that her daughter Lingyue would die after severe injury no thanks to Hong Fang's cruel order and had Granny Zhang throw her infant to the floor. But her dying daughter healed. That dent in her skull that would spell her death...fixed before her eyes, and her baby who was just hours old...gained the power of a peak Upper Celestial! She was astonished. But she knew this saved her baby as upon breaking through Upper Celestial, one will feel themselves reforged anew and stronger over and over again and sweat like crazy as steam of white yang energy will burst out of one's head like steam from a kettle!
But kept it secret...until she got home.
For Kurotsuchi Nemu whose soul was nearly consumed in her fight against Pernida Parkngjas, she was doomed to cease to exist as what remains of her soul will soon vanish, unable to even reincarnate because she damaged herself so much...until she found herself in a different world and culture, and a woman sorrowfully looking at her dying baby. The baby's pure soul was what she needed to become whole and she merged herself with it guilt-free as it has yet to have a life and its own unique soul print, a perfect fit and made that feeble, dying soul hers whole before the soul she merged with separates from the body. Her soul's modifications and power it had left also saved the baby's mortal life.
Her power of regeneration saved her new body. What she had left, was safe enough for the kid. Not for Pernida though. Idiot ate her body and she knows Mayuri-sama will deny him of her brain, the control switch for her regeneration powers thus poor bastard will explode into cancerous mess. This baby will be safe from that. Her power was enough to heal the baby entirely without damage.
Why did this baby have a dent in its skull with severe brain damage?

There's a known monster in Ye Mansion.
A monster, because one of them, was stronger than the clan's Headmaster at a very young age nobody knows what her future will be like.
Everyone knows that the foolish daughter returned home with quite the tale...and her daughter was one odd duck for all the power she possessed. Not even Huangyu knows how and why, but after a near-death because of maliciously-inflicted injury, the baby gained Upper Celestial powers and completely healed itself, making them wonder if the powerful one is still her baby...or not but 'something else entirely', given the situation.
While they were right, they had no way of telling.
She rapidly learns her lessons when she started at age six, and was a powerful cultivator hours after BIRTH not even her mother knew what happened and how and why, but it healed her daughter's head injury she was just thankful. Regardless, Huangyu loved her all the same.
Being loved and doted on was also a new experience for the soul, given her own...life experiences since she was created. It took Nemu, now Lingyue quite a while, to get used to this as all 80+ years of her life, her existence was dedicated to research and countless modifications on her body. Her source of fun has often been involved with the Women's Association or being included when the girls hang out or assisting her master in his experiments...as long as it's not tested on her, that is. But alas, as a life form created by him, she has no rights. Heck, he even tries it on himself, so she can't refute him either.
But this warm feeling Ye Huangyu gives her...isn't so bad. So this is a mother.
She never experienced this kindness from anyone it overwhelmed her with sheer unfamiliarity as she's never knows what it was like to be treated normally.
While the children of Ye studies and trains in martial arts, she only conditions her body and does...eccentric things...and prefers to experiment on anything she finds and sees with a never-ending curiosity on how things work and why. She was also shy and introverted with a perpetual melancholic expression and thankfully, an obedient girl who obeys her mother without question.
Ye Gu thought wryly, if only Huangyu was just as obedient, she won't end up as she is now. It seems obedience skipped her for her daughter!
Mother and child originally had 10 silver and made to live in Northern Manor as punishment for Huangyu's actions for leaving home, disobeying her father in favor of marrying the wrong man. But when Lingyue showed her genius, he upgraded their monthly allowance to three gold. Huangyu used to enjoy a monthly allowance of 50 gold like his sons, but she got into such deep trouble and came back home in disgrace!
One day at age ten, she's now a peak Yang Dan Realm Master. But effects of high level cultivation will show on her body come puberty and she hasn't hit puberty yet which for girls, begin when they get their Menarche, but her skin had become white and no pores are visible so her skin was very smooth and flawless that made her eyes and lips stand out.
'Mother, I will leave home.' Lingyue stated in her usual blank expression when she approached her mother to talk.
'Why will you leave, Lingyue?' Huangyu asked her doll-like daughter in both looks, manners and the way she talks. She was like this for years, while thankfully, a good, gentle and obedient girl.
'As you know I am in peak Yang Dan Realm.' said Lingyue. 'I feel strange, like a dam of power will come out soon and it might wreck our house, so I will distance myself until it is over as I have no idea what will happen due to lack of information.' her mother choked at her words. 'What is happening to me?' she inquired while somewhat worried about the anxious look on her mother's face.
She will soon become a Reincarnation Realm Master!
'Lingyue, you will soon become a Reincarnation Realm Master!' Huangyu choked out. 'There are six stages, all of which come with an elemental and heavenly trial from the heavens! You must survive those trials because each trial is deadlier than the last, which is why most Dan Masters are hesitant in cultivating further, afraid of dying. Be careful!'
'...what is the benefit of becoming one if a cultivator survives it?' Lingyue inquired, utterly unflapped by the idea of dying. So what? She can still exist as a soul and become a Shinigami again, its of no big deal to her. Her mother however, were disturbed with how unconcerned she was of the worst-case scenario! Does this girl not know fear?!
'From what I know, a person will be capable of harnessing, summoning and using that element. There are five: Wind, Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Lightning which represents the first step into Avatar Realm, making our soul godly to prepare for what's next...but nobody's ever gone that far so nobody really knows...even in the Capital City of Xia, they don't know.' Huangyu explained anxiously.
That was what her worried mother said, and Lingyue promised she will come home safely, before leaving using Shunpo.
She situated herself in the mountain top where air is hard to come by.
Kurotsuchi Nemu learned a lot about her new world.
It's a lot different from Soul Society and the Living World. She has no idea where she is, but thankfully she has enough to get by from her mother. Learning Chinese is a new thing though...this world is chinese, but NOT earth-chinese. Its...different.
Right now, these cultivational levels of this world is similar to the power she's used to dealing with. But these people don't know how to be efficient with their power at all, unlike back in Soul Society and what she's seen with what the Vandenreich are doing.
Constitutional Levels of children are akin to Academy Students in Shinno Academy. The beginning of Lower Celestial are graduate students. Intermediate Lower to Yin Dan Realm are levels of Seated Officers crammed together from 3-20th Seats, with Yang Dan being Lieutenant Rank. But come peak level, she's as strong as a weak Captain-Class now, sort of like Mayuri-sama. She never dreamed she'd become this strong.
It's what she feels now actually, as she knows the levels of all officers in Shinno Academy.
However, the people here don't have knowledge of using their reiryoku properly. They don't even have advanced medical techniques for crying out loud.
Perhaps its good that it's she who died and not Mayuri-sama. He'll throw a tantrum on such primitiveness of this world for sure.
She amassed enough energy ala quincy techniques and absorbed enough to trigger the Reincarnation Realm.
A ying-yang symbol came out of her body, then finding herself encased in a pillar...and finding herself tortured by all stages of water. For half a day.
Mm. No problem. She dealt with worse and shrugged it off.
The problem, is her...state of nakedness. The trial destroyed her clothes, and forced her body...her ten year old body, to have the appearance of a teenager. And she hasn't even hit puberty yet. Perhaps, this power is too much for a ten year old body to contain, thus forced physical maturity to safely contain it?
...is this normal in this world?
She assessed her body to have the appearance of a 15 year old, and it'll stay this way until she thankfully ages chronologically. Because of experimenting on herbs and taking what's good for a lady's growth, she was 5'6 tall, beautiful and...she was sure she wasn't THIS shapely in her past life. Her waist is three inches smaller and she didn't have flared hips either. Its a beautiful form she didn't have in her past life. Her bust size is also quite impressive. Her face also changed, when she controlled enough water to become a makeshift mirror for her. She became quite the beauty her genes can afford her. Her facial beauty is incredible, and her teeth got very white and straight.
Now then...she must study her new body.
She knows the stats of her ten year old body, she must know what happened to her NOW.
Her mother did say she can control elements...right? And how far is the technological development of this world...?
She was shaking her head in disappointment three weeks later. Really, this world could do better.

'Oh my god!' Huangyu's eyes popped.
Lingyue returned home way too old for her ten years, incredibly beautiful and wearing clothes made out of snow that she ensures clings to her body...in freaking SUMMER. Huangyu didn't know what to feel at this point, really...her daughter an Upper Celestial for five years, that to be honest she can be peak Yang Dan master long ago, but Lingyue spent those years physically conditioning her body for martial arts and studying scholarly lessons. So she took her time but no doubt its very easy for her to do so on a whim all those years ago.
'...mother, can I borrow your clothes...?'
'Coming, hang on!' Huangyu scampered to her room to get her now older daughter clothes. They need serious shopping to do! Her daughter can't wear clothes made out of snow forever!
Now then, Lingyue thought. Time to help her mother out. Her mother is injured and she's not healing it for some reason. Why?
'Mother, how come you're not healing your injury? You've had it as long as I remember.' Lingyue questioned her mother who came back with her clothes. 'Do we not have money for a doctor?'
Her mother winced.
'Lingyue...3 gold won't take us far.' Huangyu croaked out. 'A 5th Grade Pill will cost a lot of money. About 1500 gold coins minimum but mine would cost a lot more than that.' in Seireitei, that'd be the budget of the Shinigami Women's Association, making Lingyue twitch.
'Then, what if I fix mother?'
'...that would require years of doctor's lessons and last I checked you don't have such...'
Lingyue let a few books fall out of her snow skirt. She stole them from that nearby city. And for a cover story, she stole money from a nearby bank. Its pitifully too easy.
'...where did you get that?' Huangyu eyed the brand-new books. They were books for healing and basic alchemy. 'Those books are about 10 gold each.'
'...by selling some underground jars I found in the mountains.' said Lingyue. 'I had no idea they were wine made by monkeys and it sold quite well.' she gave her mother coins in a snowy pouch, containing about 37 gold coins. Her mother squeaked at having such money in her hands. What a good girl Lingyue is! 'If I study, then there's no need to pay for an expensive pill, right? I can simply make equipment from scratch. That way, we don't have to pay, right?'
'Theoretically that's true...'
But Lingyue accomplished it. She needed a larger space than the Northern Manor as she knows full well why they live there. Her mother was punished for what she did before Lingyue was born, but how and why, was unknown. She bargained with her grandfather for a larger living space, by giving him jars of pills and tonics that would cost a decent sum if sold, but not enough to afford her mother's pill. This was because materials in Qixing Mountain never gets the chance to age, that Lingyue can only make blue-patterned grade 2 pills that would cost two hundred silver coins or twenty gold at the lowest, and what she has with her are weak recipes in books she bought. If she had better-quality ingredients, she could have done better. Her grandfather only had a strained smile as he knows full well what's available, that no matter her skills, she is forced to make inferior wares unless she has a supplier.
Older herbs are worth more if sold and they make better pills. But the poor who don't have good jobs rely on risking their lives for these herbs for money. Hence she and her mother moved to a larger place called Qiaochu Quarter. Because of how useful Lingyue is now, their allowance upgraded to 60 gold a month. She was now the family alchemist and doctor. But even they had no idea how strong she is as one, unless they check her level in Glass City, they wouldn't know. All the Ye Family knows, is that she is an Alchemist and a high level one at that. Considering the grandfather and uncles never encountered a Dan or Reincarnation Master their whole lives, they simply thought she trained to refine her strength for better control.
In a year, she brought home logs of wood, and crafted a small laboratory for herself, what one would find in a hospital's surgery room, with equipment made out of iron and glass, and jars of medicine Lingyue created, be they liquid tonics or pills. Just, without the modern machines she's known all her life, that is, that she's forced to improvise by combining it with magical items out of reading stolen books. And a single operating table...and jars of monkey wine she stole. This is merely the clinic.
Her real laboratory however, is underground by seven meters below, accessible by a hidden stairway only she can enter using unique kido to herself and Mayuri. Here, are where state-of-the-art machines, equipment and tools are! She replicated all she knew in here, thus this place is insanely spacious. If in Seireitei where everything is made of Reishi thus anything can be done in a day, here in the living world...reality ensues. Hard. She has to gather materials and build the hard way! Thus it took her a long while to create everything, and after trial and error, it really took her a year.
She operated on her mother to full-recovery, and amassed enough reiryoku for her mother to recover what she lost to keep herself alive, her strength. Thus by taking Huangyu to the more dangerous parts of Qixing with Hoho, she absorbed a lot of Reiryoku into a dense large mass of energy for her mother to absorb...and guide her to Dan levels in a more efficient way than what the world knows.
Huangyu wondered how the hell her daughter came up with these methods that are indeed, far more efficient! At this rate, breaking through to Reincarnation like she did, is easy-peasy!
Upon reaching Yang Dan in one week by following Lingyue's methods...Huangyu will soon break to Reincarnation like her daughter did. Her trial was fire and she was stronger than before.
They stayed up there for a month, before coming home to study their bodies. She finally has a chance to study new developments.
'I see...so Reincarnation Realm reconstructs the body anew, the old cells destroyed and replaced with new, fresh cells that can withstand the element in question when I studied mother's body, replaced by cells of spiritually-condensed nature that makes them perfect elemental conduits and mediums, capable of wielding the elements like effortless sorcery...but in my case, not only did the above happen, it also brought out 'the best' in my blood...in terms of physical development, that is. I need more test subjects to gain the difference between anyone my age, to those already adults just to prove it's not unique only to me as this is ridiculous.'
That's what she decided.
But who can be another guinea pig...? She has to be careful as she could be mistaken for a criminal when she's not...well, unlike Mayuri she's far nicer and actually asks consent...
