I'm back, and I'm ready for action! Are you?

Here it is, the moment some of you have been waiting for.

Now, before we get started, I'm sorry I've been gone for a while. This chapter wasn't easy for me to write, at least the second part of it. Like I said before, I'm not the best when it comes to fight scenes. But I wanted a chapter out soon so I had split this one.

As we last left our favorite mutants, they just arrived in town and were meet by a man who calls himself Ajax (fake ass name by the way) and has a proposal for Lincoln and his sisters.

Now, let's see what's gonna happen.

Chapter 16: A Trip to New York, Part 2

The Louds were in shock. Ajax wanted them to go through the Adamantium procedure, the same procedure that their grandfather Logan went through that made him the Wolverine.

"You wish to completely coat my siblings bones with the strongest metal alloy known to man?!", Lisa said in surprise.

"The four of you have the same abilities as the Wolverine himself, adamantium would take you to the next level. The Wolverine is a true fighter, and that's in all your blood. Your bones would be unbreakable, heighten your senses, make you indestructible."

None of them could even believe what they were just offered. Lisa had told them of adamantium from her studies at the institute back home and in California. She also told her siblings of their grandfather's skeleton that was completely coated with the the same metal that made him The Wolverine.

Even though Ajax told them and asked if they wanted to go through with the procedure, they still didn't trust him to that extent. Lincoln didn't trust him one bit, but the offer of making him stronger just like his grandfather was still in his head, making him indestructible.

After a few moments of tension, someone finally spoke up, "I'll do it."

The one who spoke was Lincoln.

His sisters looked at him in disbelief, "Hang on a sec", Luna told Ajax as she huttled with her brother and the rest of their sisters, "Dude, the hell are you doing?"

"I'm doing this adamantium thing."

"That we know", said Lisa.

"Come on guys, think about it. It's an upgrade. We could be just like grandpa."

"Lincoln, that's not a hundred percent why", Lisa stated.

"You promised not to read my mind!"

"Yes, but your motives are not quiet. Brother, it's not worth it."

Lincoln just growled at her.

However, there was someone who did agree with her brother, "I don't know Lis. Maybe Lincoln dose have a point."

The source of the voice was Lynn, "You agree to go through the adamantium procedure?"

"Actually Lisa, I'm with Lincoln on this too", Lana added.

"Don't any of you know who dangerous this is!"

"A chance to be stronger and indestructible sounds awesome", Lynn said, "I'm in need of an upgrade anyway."

"Plus Grandpa Logan had the same thing done to him, so what's the harm?", Lana added, "Lincoln keeps talking about him, and he dose sound cool."

"I don't believe you three, Luna please...", Lisa cut herself off as she started to hear her older sister's thoughts, "Yo...you want this too?"

Luna sighed, "Sorry dude, I know your worried about us, I am too. But if they wanna go through this procedure thing, who am I to stand in their way. If they go, I go. I'm not letting them do this alone."

With her clawed siblings having already made up their mind, Lisa knew that she couldn't stop her siblings.

Luna turned around back at Ajax, "Alright dude, we'll do this ada-whatever thing of yours."

"But if you try anything", Lynn popped her right claw and held it to Ajax's head, "I'll be using you for target practice."

Ajax wasn't effected by the threat and just smirked, "Whatever you say."

Throughout the car ride, Lisa kept a close eye on Ajax, she tried to read this thoughts to see if he's up to anything.

All three limos then pulled up to a large warehouse-like building near the shipping containers in the Port of Newark. Ajax, and the Loud kids then stepped out, "Welcome to my workshop. The rest of your family will have to wait out here."

Just then, "Hold up there Ajax!", Ronnie Anne then stormed out of one of the limos and walked right up, glaring at the scientist.

"Ronnie Anne? What are you..."

Ronnie Anne didn't acknowledge Lincoln's surprised reaction as she was still focused on Ajax, "Listen dude, I don't trust you as much as most of us here, but I do know what your game is. Anything you can do to Lincoln and his sisters with this adamantium stuff, you can do to me."

Lincoln and his sisters except Lisa were surprised that Ronnie Anne knows about them accepting the adamantium procedure, "How did..."

"You pocket dialed me dumbass", Lincoln then pulled out his phone revealing that he did indeed pocket-dial her on accident.

"Oh."

"Adamantium would only benefit those with abilities like theirs", Ajax explained, "If not, then it's pointless to...", before he could finish, Ronnie Anne grabbed him by the arm and flipped him onto his back and with a roar as she had her nail claws out as if she was ready to attack as she looked down at Ajax.

The scientist didn't appear to be in any pain, as he said before, he doesn't feel pain anymore. He just looked up at the mutant wild girl and saw her nail-like claws, the fangs in her mouth where her canine teeth were, and that look of rage on her face and in her mutant cat-like eyes. "Well, I'm impressed. And your right young lady, abilities like yours is worthy of adamantium." The British scientist then picked himself back up as Ronnie Anne stepped back slightly as her claws retracted.

"Uh, can you excuse us for a second?", Lincoln then pulled Ronnie Anne's arm and they walked to the side to talk alone. "Ronnie Anne, what are you doing?"

"What dose it look like? I'm going with you guys through this adamantium thing", Ronnie Anne replied.

"Why? This is dangerous."

"So why are you doing this?"

"Because, it's a chance to... ya know..."

"...for you to be stronger."

Lincoln stood quiet as his good friend knew his reason for going through the procedure.

"Your a mutant who lost a fight against a human brute your age and kicked both our asses, and your blaming yourself for losing."

"My grandpa's The Wolverine, he'd never have lost a fight like that. If he found out about that, he'd definitely not accept me."

"Well, your not the only one who feels like that. My powers are similar to yours, and I lost to that jerk too. You gotta stop worrying about him accepting you, besides your 12, he's like 185. Your still getting the hang of powers."

"But what if...what if..."

"Hey, relax. If anything, we do it together, no matter what."

Ronnie Anne could see Lincoln just wanted to prove that he could take on Stankco after losing the street fight and prove him wrong. While he didn't want anyone else getting involved with his problems, but he did feel reassured that whatever happens, he's always got Ronnie Anne by his side.

"You still wanna go through this?"

Lincoln nodded, "Do you?"

Ronnie Anne smiled, Lincoln extended his hand and she held his as the two tweens headed back to Ajax and Lincoln's sisters.

"Shall we then?", Ajax then opened the doors as the seven of them entered his workshop.

Inside it looked like a mix of a laboratory and some kind of hospital with separate rooms along the way that had doctors inside with what looked like mutant patients. Even seeing others on stretchers.

They soon reached the end of the corridor and entered a large two level open chamber. In the center were five water tanks, each with a few sets of what looked like tattoo guns hooked up to small containers of a hot silver liquid, adamantium.

Wanting to waste no time, Ajax decided it was time to begin, "Let's get started."

A few minutes later, the five mutants were now lying strapped down on five metal platforms directly above the water tanks. They were all wearing black swimsuits with the four girls wearing black two pieces and Lincoln only wearing a pair of black trunks.

Luna and Lynn were above the two upper tanks, Ronnie Anne and Lana in the lower two tanks with Lincoln alone above the center.

Standing nearby was Lisa who was still trying to convince her siblings and Ronnie Anne otherwise, "Siblings, I know you have the healing capabilities, but that's not a guarantee that any of you would survive a procedure like this."

"With their healing capabilities you shouldn't have to worry, young lady", Lisa was startled by Ajax who was standing right behind her.

"Must you eavesdrop Mr. Freeman?"

"Freeman?", Lana asked.

"That's his legal name, Francis Freeman", Lisa then started to chuckle, "He got Ajax from the dish soap!"

The louds, including Lisa and Ronnie Anne then started laughing at him as Francis just looked down at Lisa, "It doesn't take me long for finding someone's secrets from their mind."

Francis didn't appear to be bothered by this, just a bit annoyed. "I came here to give you these", Francis pulled something out of his pocket, it was five dog tags, "If your going to be like The Wolverine, you need to show it.", he then placed a dog tag around each of their necks.

Lincoln looked down at his tag and saw his said, WEAPON XIII.

"Weapon XIII?", he asked.

"Wolverine was Weapon X. It's only appropriate that those following would continue from the Weapon X project", Ajax said, "We're going to make you all indestructible. The adamantium has a special chemical added to grow along with your bones as you age. Your going to experience some of the worst pain imaginable. The procedure effects those differently. It can destroy some, while the rest, are special. Become a part of something great."

Lynn smirked, "Pfff, I can get through any pain."

Lincoln took a deep breath, "Let's do this."

With that said, some of the scientists then put breathing masks on the five as they were getting ready to start.

Francis was now on the catwalk control panel, looking down at the mutants with Lisa right next to him. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to create Weapon XI, XII, XIII, XIV, and XV. Let's begin."

The five of them were lowered into the water tanks below. The screens in near the controls now showed their skeletons and heart rates. Now underwater, the drills started to filling with liquid adamantium as they started spinning and lowered into the tanks. The drills were just inches away from their bodies. Seeing this, most of them were very uneasy as to what they got themselves into. Lincoln tried to stay calm but he couldn't hid his worry, he closed his eyes tightly as he prepared himself for the pain that was coming.

With everything was in order, it was time to begin. But before they began, Ajax turned to Lisa, "You you like to do the honors?"

It didn't take long for Lisa to give him an answer, "No! I may be a women of science, but to subdue my siblings and my brother's closest female companion to an extremely painful and dangerous procedure is far beyond any experiment I would do. I'll have no part in this!"

"Very well", Francis prepared to pushed the start button but with his index finger just a mere centimeter from making contact, he couldn't, as if something was holding him back. But it wasn't second thoughts. He looked to his right and saw Lisa extending her left arm out, using her telekinesis to stop Francis from starting the procedure.

But his mutant strength was too much for the five-year old's still developing telekinetic powers. The scientist slowly managed to gather enough strength to move his index finger closer to the button, "NO!", Lisa begged, but it was too late, the mutant pushed the start button.

At that moment, the mini drills pierced the five mutants bodies all the way down to their bones. The liquid adamantium then started to slowly spread all over their skeletons.

The pain was absolutely excruciating, making them thrash, grunt, and shake beneath the water. Their heartrates were drastically increasing and blood pressure rising. This was seen by the scientists and doctors witnessing the whole experiment as they watched their heart monitors.

"Body temperatures 180 raising", one of scientist read on the monitors.

"Why are they threshing like that?", asked one of the doctors, "Why aren't they suddeated?"

"What's the fun in that?", Francis replied, "It needs to be interesting."

"Heart rates 190. 195", another stated reading the heartrates, "200".

Some of the scientist watching were getting worried as their heart rates continued to skyrocket. But non were more worried than Lisa. She covered her eye's as she couldn't bear to witness such an operation like this.

"This has gone far enough!"

"No!", Francis shouted back, "They can make it!"

Their minds were racing with just the thoughts of the unbearable pain. It was the same with Lincoln as he continued to keep his eyes shut, his mind raced as he witnessed his entire life flash before his eyes. All the memories he shared with his family, his friends, everything. Including those of the hardships of his life, the thoughts of being messed by some of his sisters back in the day, but none of the negatives were greater than those caused by the Stankcos. He just kept thinking now of the constant harassment the father and son bullies caused him, his friends and family on a daily basis and keeping it all in to avoid being exposed, and the thoughts back to when he and Ronnie Anne were beaten by the Stankco boy just laughing at them as he easily overpowered them both and smashed his claws with his foot, looking down at him. He couldn't take him, he lost, and could never see his family ever again.

And just like that, their hearts reached their max, and flat lined.

They stopped thrashing as the X-Rays showed that the process was complete and their bones were now completely coated with adamantium.

The scientist and doctors were in complete disbelief. Lisa was at a complete loss for words, she just watched her siblings die, "No", she started to tear up as she though she lost her siblings and she didn't stop them.

"Guess a wolverine can die", one scientist said to himself.

Francis still had his eyes watching the water tanks, just watching.

Then they heard a beep from the heart monitor. Lisa looked up and wiped the tears from her eyes as she and the rest saw that one of their hearts started up again. Then another, and another, "Heart rates rising", a scientist said.

"No rejection", another said, "Procedure successful", All five had survived the procedure.

Francis smiled, "We did it."

"Oh thank the philosophers!", Lisa said, so grateful that her siblings survived such a risky procedure, "Alright Mr. Freeman, I think it's time me, and my siblings, and Ronnie Anne should be on our way now."

"No", Francis said in a tone, "Procedure's a success, we save their DNA for further experiments, I have the ultimate weapons at my disposal. Erase their memories."

Lisa was shocked, as she couldn't hear his plan, "What!? NO!", a scientist then grabbed Lisa by the arms a put a cloth to her mouth as she tried to use her telekinesis to fight back, "NO! LEAVE THEM ALONE! HELP!"

Unbeknownst to Francis, the mutants heard Lisa's cry for help. They opened their eyes in a fit of wild rage. No one lays a hand on Lisa. They began to thrash around again as their claws emerged now coated with adamantium.

As they managed to fight off Lisa's mind powers, she was knocked out by the chloroform rag and about to be taken away, they started to noticed the mutants moving again in the tanks.

"I think they heard us", a scientist said worried.

Francis saw that they were right, he wasn't gonna let them go without a fight, "Get the helmet ready."

The mutants broke free from their restrains and shot up out of the tanks, letting out loud roars of rage.

Guards came flooding in as one took a shot at Lynn's head, but the she gritted her teeth and looked back at the guard as her wounded skin healed covering her adamantium skull.

She lunged at the guard and sliced his head off as more started firing as they jumped out of the water as the rest of the scientists fled in fear.

As his sisters and Ronnie Anne fled as they took out the guards, Lincoln looked up and saw Francis looking down at him smirking, "Francis!"

Lincoln ran towards him, maiming and slashing any guard who was in his way as he made his way up the catwalk stairs as Francis shut himself in a nearby room outside the lab with one of his brutes and an unconscious Lisa with him.

Lincoln used his new adamantium claws to slash and X and kicked his way inside.

It was dark, he couldn't see anything other than they very little light that came through the opening he made. But he did have something to find him, he took out a quick sniff and immediately turned to his left. He slipped as quiet as he can as he followed his mutant nose deeper inside.

As he drew closer, his scent grew stronger that he knew that the scientist was right in front of him.

At that second, the young mutant roared and pounced, but as soon as he did, he felt someone grab his writs and pulled him into a headlock, tightly holding his arms together so to not be stabbed or cut by the boys claws.

Lincoln tried to break himself out of his clutches but as he kept trying and yelled in rage, something was quickly put on his head. He continued to try and fight himself out but with a simple push of a button, Lincoln completely stopped and retracted his claws.

He was let out of the headlock and slowly stood himself up, not moving any further.

Francis bent down and looked at him smirking, "Perfect."

Wow. That was something.

So, Lincoln, his sisters and Ronnie Anne just went through the adamantium procedure and a certain someone's trying to double-cross them. How's this gonna turn out you ask? Your just gonna have to wait for the conclusion.

Again, I'm really sorry I took so long. I'll try to keep working on this story until it's done.
