"Try to get us to leave?" Felicia asked as Peter, Ororo and Shuri climbed the talon fighter ramp, "Exactly." Peter answered before saying "I have a feeling we're in for a rough fight ahead." To which Crystal answered "We will be ready." "We better be." Ororo said going to the holo table in middle of the fighter to beginning a strategy for the upcoming battle. Which thanks to a spy in the enemy rank would be at first light tomorrow morning, apparently the council had been holding back to try and starve out T'Challa's force, but now it seems like Peter and Ororo managed to piss Bask off enough to throw away the original plan and decide to end them at once on a full assault.
"Didn't think you could make anyone that angry in the first encounter." T'Challa said with both impress and also angry in his voice after Peter had told of the meeting, he didn't tell about the Council reveal that they knew of T'Challa and Mary Jane crime since it would only cause trouble when they didn't have the luxury of it as both Kings had their combined troops take up new camps at the soon to be battlefield as night came. The Wakandans was a bit surprise when Peter and his women refused the rooms offered to them in the palace and instead went to go spend the night with their troops, which brought courage to the Yorkers and even the Wakandans troops who felt a bit ashamed that their King wasn't with them. Who it wasn't at all surprising to Peter and his wives by a message sent from Shuri that T'Challa was in his room having loud intercourses with Mary Jane, 'Someone should remind those two rabbits that during war time, the intercourses are suspended until it is over.' Emma mentally scoff 'I starting see how many are thinking that T'Challa have lost what is becoming of a King and new leadership is needed.' Peter couldn't help but agree with the blonde telepath and she showed the conflicts that had arisen in Wakanda through its people eyes.
'Some are wondering why we have come to fight in their Wakanda, saying this is their fight and not ours even if we are allies.' Betsy commented to which Ororo replied 'The reason because is that we can either help or stand aside and let a country destroy itself, the fact that we are here shows that we choice the first and shouldn't be ashamed of it because we know that it the right thing to do, now we should turn in, tomorrow is going to be a storm." Ororo added and the others chuckled at her little mutant joke as they went to their tent that was a magic on to be bigger on the inside than the out.

Peter woke up hours later when it was still dark outside, but sense that morning was not far away and so climbing out of the bed he and Ororo shared Peter put on his armor that melded with his Symbiote to become both lighter in weight and stronger in protection. Quietly leaving the tent Peter looked out at the shadowy sea of different tents filled with the armies of York and Wakanda sleeping inside. Though many like Peter was waking up and starting dead fires to cook what might be their last meals, who nodded and gave small greetings to the York King as he past on his way to the edge of the camp and looked out through a pair of binoculars towards the dome that along with the sky, changing from black to pink, gave enough light to show what was happening on the other side.
There were movement, mostly from the sleepless undead troops just wandering about the field and occasionally the ones who got near the shield let out a roar with their hollow eyes glowing red and attacked it with nothing to lose to try and break through by hacking weapons or fists at the dome and mostly loosing a limb or their heads as the shield, like a guillotine, re-closed the openings and slice them off to join the pile of weapons and body parts scattered across the shield rim. "Using them as expendable fodder, Bask is proving my question true that she doesn't care for the dead, makes one wonder if she'll cares for the living just as much if she become Queen." Peter muttered with anger as he continued to look through his binoculars at the enemy he soon would fight.

That fight came a few hours later as the sun slowly rose over the mountains to glimmer off the Golden City dome and illuminate the fields on both inside and out where the combine armies of York/Wakanda were forming defensive battle lines, while the Shadow Councils on the other side was creating offensive lines with a whole legion worth of undead Wakandans at the head. That glowing red eyes could be seen even from a distance and the distortion of the shield, this included the eyes of Bask who stood in the front middle of the undead looking at the army that dared to stand against her. Who's leaders conspired of King Peter in his red and blue armor, Queen Ororo standing to his left with the other different women who were also his wives, while to his right stood Wakanda King T'Challa donning his black Panther outfit that was a contrast to the red and gold/silver battle armor of his Dora Milaje.
Who held their weapons at the ready as did the other troops in the combined army that might have been more diverse than even Bask's forces with the different species mixed together, but all was there for the same purpose to defeat the other and decide the fate of Wakanda. Which seemed to hold it breath as it waited to see who of the two armies who strike first, and it was Bask who made the first move as she raised her short spear above her head. Which brought a battlecry from her troops before slashing her blade down and all her undead roar together as they charged towards the shield while the catapults launched flaming boulders above them to explode upon impact with the dome that rippled like a rock thrown in a pond but remained strong. A course it was different from the undead who collided with the shield to try and, for some, succeed to get through in places, the ones that did sprinted across the field towards their enemy. But only to be picked off by the projectiles comprising of either energy blasts from the Wakandans spears, lead balls/bolts from the Yorkers flintlocks/crossbows or the different variety of elements released from the superpower troops.
Which made short work of the undead who, fortunately, when killed by too much damage to their reformed hearts and brains was freed from Bask control and their trapped spirits were released back to the afterlife. After an hour of loosing nearly a hundred of her undead with no lose to her enemy, Bask gesturing Klaw and his men forward, who like their boss was armed with guns that released sonic blasts which they all pointed, along with the array of sonic siege cannons and the still throwing catapults, and fired at the same area of the shield just above the undead. Even from the other side the defenders all winced at the high pitch scream of the sonic guns and they just manage to hear Shuri speaking through the Kimoyo communication network from the war room, "Brother, the shield is fluctuating, the strain will become too much for the sensors to hold for long under this attack, I'm going have to power down that part of the shield or we won't be able to bring it back online at all."
"Do it, and try to get it back up as soon as you can Sister." T'Challa replied before looking at Peter, "Final battle is now." Peter nodded both they both yelled together "For York!" "Wakanda Forever!" Their 16,000 troops replying with battle cries as they charged towards the enemy, who also gave cries as a part of the shield that had kept them out for so long finally fell leaving a fair size hole in it and on Bask command all the Council troops of living and dead rushed forward. The two forces collided in the middle of the field with a boom of metal on metal, explosions from energy balls thrown by the superpowers and thunder as a flying above Ororo conjured scores of lightning to throw at the enemy. Who also fought with their different abilities of sound, magic and agility that matched the defenders, who Kings fought side by side and Peter was glad to see that though T'Challa had fail in his duties, he was still a impressive fighter using his claws and suit kinetic energy pulses ability to take down or throw the invaders of his country away.
Peter also saw his wives in action using both their skills and powers, also with their Symbiotes that allowed them to do even more incredible things then they could normally do. Like Emma who made her Symbiote harden upon a weapon impact with the expose part of her armor and was nearly strong as diamond since the weapons would bent or break upon contact. For Felicia, she was like a black and white tiger that attacked her prey with speed and strength that was equal to T'Challa, and so was her extended bladed claws which cut down the enemy with surprising ease like the other ladies who wiped out their opponents just as easily. Then during the fight Peter came into contact with the leader of the Border Tribe W'Kabi, who scolded at him and brandish his sword "This isn't your fight Outsider, this is Wakanda affairs not yours."
"I came to aid my friend like you should be, but you turned your back on your King." Peter said as his and W'Kabi swords clang against the other, "T'Challa stopped being my King when he took your redhead whore as his Queen, Bask will correct that mistake and will bring Wakanda back from darkness." W'Kabi replied "By going into it more and defile the lands of both living and dead? T'Challa might have screw up in places, but he would never do that and I bet neither would any of your ancestors, who would be ashamed of you." Peter said and W'Kabi answered angrily "How dare you speak of my ancestors!" He yelled and charged to run his sword through Peter's chest, only to be hit in the face by a web by the Spider who sidestep the attack and whacked the pommel of his sword against the back of W'Kabi head who fell to the ground unconscious. "I'm only speaking the truth, since my ancestors would be ashamed if I did that crime." Peter commented before returning to the battle.
There were other members of the Shadow Council in the battle like Klaw and Masque using guns to fire at their enemy, while the Kraven Hunters used their hunting weapons and M'Baku a giant mace-like club that he swung to send troops flying. Morgan was like Ororo in floating in the air sending magic spell down on enemies, but the one who drew Peter's attention was Bask wielding two short spears with deadly effects cutting down any troop who attacked her. Peter was making his way towards Bask when one of her undead attacked him from the side and sending the two into a large trench made by a large blast wave from one of Klaw's men sonic guns. The undead climbed on top of Peter, who helmet flew off on landing, and tried to bite his exposed nose off if Peter didn't held the undead corpse back with his hands, but the corpse didn't stop and put all it strength into sinking its rotting teeth into Peter's skin. Who immediately decided to use his Symbiote to send a hardened point tentacle jabbing into the center of the undead head and as soon as it made contact with the brain the corpse stopped moving, but also everything around the two, including the battle, disappeared into darkness.
The feeling that Peter felt was similar to a telepathic meeting on the astral plane and he assumed that something similar must've happened as the undead troop vanished and in its place was a man, who dark skin was whole and covered in the garb of a normal Wakandan citizen who offered his hand to help Peter to stand on the invisible ground in the darkness. "Thank you for releasing me." The man said "You're welcome, I take it we're in the prison of your mind?" Peter asked but before the man could answer, suddenly all around them appeared the glowing red forms of the thousands of undead Wakandans, the souls of those who were still trapped in their undead bodies, forming a large circle. One of then spoke in a horrible voice "Who enter this domain?" And Peter, keeping calm, answered "One who will free you as well." To which the undead replied "And we would welcome it, but as long as the crown exists on Queen Bask's head then we are bound to fight."
"Then I will remove the crown and set you free." Peter answered and the freed Wakandan said "Even if you manage to do that, Bask's other forces will still fight and might win." After a quick thought Peter asked "If I retrieve the crown, will you fight against the Council?" To which the undead answered "Only Royalty can wield the crown and command us." And Peter replied "I may not be Wakandan Royalty, but I am still Royalty in York, would it be enough to count?"
The undead took a moment to answer "Perhaps, but what guarantee do we have that you will free us after the battle?" And Peter said seriously "I swear on my life and honor, fight for me and I will hold your oaths fulfill and release you, what says you?" All the undead replied "We'll fight with you." Then there was a flash of red light and suddenly Peter found himself on the ground of the trench with a now really dead trooper on top of him. Tossing him off Peter stood up and climbed out of the pit, looking around the still raging battle he quickly located Bask and began making his way towards her. But before he reached her, Felicia attacked Bask and the two women were like two cats fighting like crazy, but then Bask gain the upper hand by using her powers to speed up her body and which allowed her to disarm Felicia and knock her off her feet. Bask stood over Felicia and raised her spears ready to deal the killing blow, "NO!" Peter shouted darting forward and placed his shield over Felicia.
Which deflected the spears and before Bask could recover Peter thrusted his shield forward to slam into her and sending her back a few feet, moving to placed himself in front of his second wife Peter held his sword at the ready as Bask also got to her feet, her eyes glowed red along with the crystals in her crown as she glared daggers at the Spider King. Giving a yell Bask attacked with incredible speed like before, but unlike before Peter's spider sense helped him to predict and counter Bask's spears with his shield while swinging his sword to almost land blows if Bask didn't almost block it. "Hate to admit it Outsider, but you're quite skillful, seems the Kravens weren't exaggerating. Still, why do you fight with that disgrace who calls himself King?" Bask asked during a pause in the fight, "Because we're allies and when allies are in trouble the other comes to help them." Peter replied before the two went at it again, while managing to still have their conversation "But he betrayed you in the most treacherous way by stealing your wife, abandoning his own and neglected his duties, from my point of view and those of my allies T'Challa doesn't deserve to be King of Wakanda anymore."
"In a sense you do have a point, maybe T'Challa shouldn't be King anymore, but I can't say Wakanda would be better under your rule if you would stoop to raising the dead which is a just as disgraceful crime for a Royal to commit." Peter answered blocking a spear from stabbing into his neck "My dead troops may have been brought back from the after planes, but they are happier for it." Bask said confidently as the two were in a stand still of blades on blades and Peter answered "Let see about that." And using another Symbiote tentacle with lightning speed Peter snatched the crown off of Bask's head, who was too surprised to react as Peter pushed her away and placed the crown on top of his head. He screamed as the crown dark power went into him and it felt like a thousand of screws were going into his head, evil thoughts started to fill Peter's mind like 'Kill the traitor T'Challa and reclaim my wife Mary Jane.' and he might've started to act on them when suddenly Peter heard Ororo's voice in his head.
"Fight it Peter, don't let the darkness corrupt you, though T'Challa and Mary Jane betrayed us, remember that thanks to them it brought us together to embrace what it means to truly love someone and embrace the others who we both love just as much along with all our children. The darkness may be great, but it pales in the light of our love, now Fight!" And so Peter did as he willed all his love for Ororo, Felicia, Sue, Betsy, Emma, Janet Veranke, Meggan, Crystal, Lorna, May, Walter, Valeria, Richard, Jamie, Ruby, Hope, Votan, Alice and Betsy, against the darkness that was quickly eradicated from the crown. Which crystals turned from red to blue, along with the eyes of all the undead who shocked all the living as they changed sides and attacked their former allies, who was quickly rerouted back towards the shield. "How is this possible!" Bask screamed and Peter answered with glowing brown eyes "Love conquer all more than hatred can Bask." Angry in her still red eyes Bask charged at Peter intending to kill him, except she was intercepted by T'Challa and in the fight that commenced was brutal since Bask, even without the crown, was a skillful fighter, but soon it was over with one of her spears impale in her chest.
Soon the battle was over and the defenders of Wakanda cheered in victory, which stopped when the army of the undead approached Peter, who still wore the crown, "Uphold your word." One of the undead said and everyone looked at Peter with no doubt wonder and worry of what he would do until Peter eased their hearts by saying "I hold your oath fulfill, go, be at peace again." And all the undead smiled as their bodies literally turned into dust that blew away in the wind. Feeling a hand on his shoulder Peter turned to see the hand belonging to his love and Queen, Ororo, who smiled as he wrapped his arm around her waist, pulled her to him and planted his lips on her in a deep kiss that she returned with equal passion and oblivious to the renew cheers of both the armies of York and Wakanda.

Several days past after what history would call 'The Battle of Alliances' and life in the country of Wakanda slowly began to return to normal, a course the Shadow Council still existed but had went back into the shadows from where they came and there was still a major issue that had to be addressed in the form of T'Challa and Mary Jane affair being discovered. So everyone meet in the palace throne room, Peter and his wives, along with the tribe council, Shuri, her mother Ramondo and the two responsible standing in the middle of the circle. "How can we trust him to be our King, if he betrays his own Queen and steal another?!" One of the council members asked angrily and several of the others murmur in agreement until Shuri spoke "Now everyone, I know that my brother had done some terrible things, but that was five years ago and since then…"
"He been neglecting his duties as King, it why the Shadow Council was able to rise to power and almost destroyed us if not for York." Another council member cut in, "And it was Peter not T'Challa who truly defeated Bask, though you dealt the killing blow T'Challa it was Peter who freed our fallen by conquering the dark powers of the crown and releasing the dead souls. From where I sit, Peter Parker is more worth of being King of Wakanda than you T'Challa." The man's words surprise many and thanks to a mind read from Betsy Peter saw the other council minds were think along the same lines, "I appreciate the kind words council member, but I can't become your King. I have my own kingdom to rule and must return to it." "Then perhaps you Queen Ororo, the five years of the Rite are almost at an end, will you return to the throne?" Ororo exchanged looks with Peter before shaking her head, "I can't, York have become my home and it's King and daughter need his Queen and her mother beside them, what needs a new ruler." "Who?" The Council asked and Ororo answered "Though T'Challa had been lacking in his duties, there been one who haven't, that person had stood by her people and kept them going. The one who kept them together during this hard time of Wakanda and who have proven herself fit to rule it, if we are calling for a vote then I nominate Princess Shuri as the new Queen."
None was surprised by this then Shuri and didn't try to hide it as the Council started to agree and almost immediately a vote was cast, including from T'Challa and Mary Jane "You too brother?" Shuri asked and T'Challa nodded "I have failed in my duties, but you risen to fill the space and if a King doesn't know when it time to step down, then he is not truly a King anymore. I hear by relinquish the throne to you my sister." Shuri blushed in embarrassment but quickly hide it behind a confident expression as she said "I access this responsibility." People cheered as a fur cape was placed on Shuri's shoulders and she went to sit on the throne. Raising a hand to silent the cheering Shuri spoke "As my first thing as Queen is that, though my brother isn't King anymore, when the time came to fight he did his duties as the Black Panther. So as a sort of punishment he will continue to do them to the best of his abilities, what say you brother?" T'Challa bowed his head "I accept this responsibility and swear to not fail them."
"I hope so, now second, since the five year Rite that brought Wakanda and York into Alliance is over, I requested King Peter Parker that we forge a new one and I have a perfect idea to do it." Peter raised a gesturing hand "I listen." And Shuri continued. "As Queen I can create a new Rite, this one will continue the swap of the royal family wives to live with the other husband, but there is no time limit to the stay and furthermore the requirement of intercourse everyday is no more. Do you find this agreement reasonable T'Challa, Peter, Mary Jane and Ororo?" Shuri asked and all four smiled as they answered in union "Yes." And the Council cheered as the wives of the King of York and former King of Wakanda kissed their now permanent husbands.
