Throughout the night, we were partying, going crazy, some of us cooking in the kitchen just for the kicks, and coming back to the living room, where we were binging Star Wars, they only had the original trilogy here, but it was slightly different. There were some beer bottles laying on the floor, and Logan was out cold, he had a drinking contest against Tess, and he lost. Talia was originally who he was going to go against, but none of us let her.
It was about five AM, and we were watching the last episode of the original trilogy. I was just watching, Nat laying her head on my lap, with me laying my back onto the couch, relaxed, when all of a sudden, I sat up. "YO WHAT!?" I and Miles said. "THEY JUST TEASED EZRA! NO WAY!"
"What're you talking about?" Ned and Liz asked.
"Rewind a little." I said, nearly jumping out of my chair.
They did, and it was the moment where Yoda was dying, and he said "One, there is. Stuck in the Wild Space by choice, he is. Dark, he is not. Light, he is not. Both, he is. A threat, he may be. Warned you, I have." Then Yoda faded away.
"NO WAY! WAY TO GO, EZRA!" We said, pumping our fists in the air. Everyone looked at us blankly, and I said "Ned, you asked for no spoilers, you want to know, or not?"
"You know who Yoda's talking about?" Liz asked.
"I do!" I said "He sacrificed himself! That's why he is in the Wild Space! He was originally taught by a Jedi, and he was manipulated by Darth-" I cut myself off. "You guys don't know who I'm talking about, and I'm not about to ruin five years of shows and movies for you."
"Sometimes, knowledge kept to oneself can be detrimental." Danny said, with a smirk.
"Oh, kriff off, Danny." I said, waving a hand in dismissal.
"Kriff?" Tess asked.
"That's the way they say the f word in Basic, the major language across the Star Wars series." I said "You guys are missing out, you don't even have any Mandalorians, other than Boba Fett. Y'all behind the times."
"Dad, look at what I found in the Lucasfilm database." Sexi said, and we all looked at her. "It's mentioning some... Prequel trilogy? And this show, and movie, called the Clone Wars?"
Me and Miles looked at each other, then I said "Lets go baby! Get them, Ahsoka! Get 'em, Ezra!"
"Yeah!" Miles said "Get that girl, we all know you got it! And save Kanan as well this time around, you got this bro!"
"It's always about the girl with you boys, right?" Cindy said, rolling her eyes "Like older brother, like younger brother."
"C'mon..." I said "You got to admit, Ezrabine was destined for greatness, an explosive artist, and a passive aggressive badass friendly man."
"I never denied it." Cindy said "But, that was the first thing Miles said, unsurprisingly." I looked at her with a question on my tongue, and she said "Fine, I admit it, I would do the same."
I laughed, and said "There we go, you were destined for greatness, you just had to accept it."
She glared at me without any heat, and said "Shut the kriff up."
"I would have to go against Aunt Nari's wishes to have grandkids then." I said cheekily, then said "Sexi, when are they releasing episode I?"
"The surprise trailer is coming out tonight, at the comic con." Sexi said "Gotta admit, this trailer is interesting."
"Play it!" Ned and Liz both screamed.
"Patience is a trait that every Jedi must have, younglings." I said, in my best Obi-Wan voice, which wasn't off at all, considering my powers.
"Master Obi-Wan is correct, children." Cindy said, adopting the voice of Luminara. "Patience is what stands between every Jedi and the Dark side."
"As much as I hate to agree with Obi-Wan," Miles said, acting as Anakin, "he's right. Patience isn't so bad in the end, if you get to reap the benefits." He did a perfect Anakin pose.
"Listen to Anakin, younglings." I said "Patience is what wins us every battle, in every single setting, be it against the Senate, or against Count Dooku."
"Or against Ventress, I will admit," Cindy said "I rushed into battle against her, and the only one who saved me was Ahsoka."
"Just shut up y'all." Tess said "We still need to finish the movie. Sexi, can you play the movie?"
"Fosho, Aunt Tess." Sexi said.
We continued watching, and after a while, all three of us universe travelers screamed out "LET'S GO EZRA! KEEP THE BALANCE!"
"Who's this Ezra?" Ned said "First you guys go crazy over the tease they had for him, and then you say he's the one who pulled Vader into that portal."
"Cuz he is!" I said "I've seen him do that before, when he went into The World Between Worlds! Season Four of Rebels!
"That was so crazy badass!" Miles exclaimed "The one in our universe wasn't this hype, but it was still hella hype! Anakin cutting Palpatine's head off was just awesome!"
"Things were so different this time around." Cindy said "Luke is so much more of a Jedi in this then he was in the other side."
"Yeah!" I said "Can't wait until tonight, when we can see how different episode one could possibly be!"
"Yeah!" Miles said "Imagine if they're different! Like, Obi-Wan was clearly different, who knows how different everyone else will be!"
"Ok guys, enough, unfortunately." I said, taking a bar out, and throwing it at Luke, who caught it. "Eat that, we're storming the Zodiac in a couple."
Luke eagerly ate the bar, then straightened up. "That's a whole lot of energy, man. I could go for a day now."
"You guys are sure you want to storm the base already?" Aunt May asked. "They're probably expecting you."
"They probably are, but I never said anything to suggest I knew of them, so they're going to be a little lax on their security, not that it'll matter. I can storm it alone." I said with a shrug.
"My parents are stuck there." Luke said "I'm not going to waste time, I have to get them out of there."
Aunt May nodded, and said "There isn't a need for me to tell you to stay safe, that would be stupid. Get your parents back, Luke."
He nodded, then hugged Aunt May, and said "Thanks, Aunt May." He was already calling her Aunt May?
Aunt May hugged him back, and said "Good job, you finally called me Aunt May. You're like one of the last of the younger ones here to do that."
I looked around, meaning to say bye to Tony. "Where's Tony?" I asked, when I couldn't find him in the crowd.
"He went for his press conference yesterday, Mister Oblivious." Uncle Al said amusedly. "Next time, know who's here, and who isn't."
"I will, if I remember to do that." I said with a grin. I turned to Luke. "It'll just be me and you, and The Agents. Y'all ready?"
"Just gotta wear my suit..." Luke said, pressing a button on his Parkerwatch. The Agents did the same, and they were suited up.
"Let's go." I said, then teleported us.
We landed in front of a volcano, which had a door in it. "Another cliché villain base, huh?" I said, chuckling to myself. "What's the move, Powerman?"
"How about we settle for cliché as well?" He said, with a smirk. "Smash open the door, punch anyone and everyone."
"You're point man here for now, Powerman." I said, an amused lilt in my voice. "Go on, punch it."
He went in front of the door, and cracked his knuckles, then punched the door, blasting it open. We all walked in, alarms blaring, and Zodiac agents surrounded us, guns at the ready.
"Oi mates!" I said, in an Australian accent. "We were looking for Jacob, could you tell us where he is?"
"I'm right here, Karma." Scorpio said, and the Zodiac agents made way for him to face us. "I was expecting you to come."
"I was expecting you to expect me, Scorpio!" I said, in a joyful tone. "Now, I got some people to save, as well as your key. Care to make our job easier?"
"You took care of Nicholas, that was my job." Scorpio said
"Yeah, but you were just annoyed that your brother took all the fame away from you, you didn't have a real reason." I said.
"You taking care of Fury gave me the opportunity to take control of the world, and outdo SHIELD." Scorpio said, taking his mask off, as if he was the one winning here. "Now, all I have to do, is to take care of you, and Zodiac will rise."
As if on queue, (what am I talking about? Of course it was on queue.) the Zodiac soldiers started shooting, and the suits tanked the shots for the rest, while I would have been chilling, suit or not.
The shots were making dust rise in the air, and soon, we were surrounded by dust. As if we were meant to have a badass moment, they stopped shooting, and I stepped out of the dust, and said "That all you got?"
The others stepped out of the dust as well, and we started taking care of the soldiers, tossing them around.
I saw Jacob running away, so I said "Agents, take care of this! Me and Luke are following Scorpio!"
"Copy that!" Josef said.
I nodded at Luke, and we ran after Scorpio. He heard our steps, I was making them loud enough for him to hear purposefully, and so was Luke. Scorpio turned his head to look at us, and said "What did I do?"
"You want to make a super soldier army, the world won't survive that!" I said.
I caught up to him, and grabbed him, and said "Powerman, Sexi will give you the directions to them, go on ahead."
He nodded and ran past us. I turned to Jacob, and said "Well, what's the move? What do you care to say, any words of defense?"
"One." He said, raising his finger. "Do you even know where the Key is?" He asked, looking smug. "I'd be worried more about that, if I were you."
"I'm not an idiot, Max Fury." I said. "It's right behind me." In a flash, I grabbed it, where it was getting ready to shoot me, and crushed it, destroying the circuitry. "And, the Scorpio Key is no longer." I said dramatically.
"There's one thing you haven't accounted for." He said, still smug. "I'm a super soldier too." He attempted to knee me in the stomach, but that just broke his kneecap.
"Have accounted for." I said, laughing at him. "I make y'all weaklings look puny. You good? Your little brother won't be too happy to see you."
He was clutching his kneecap in pain, and passed out. "Takes out all the badass dramatics, bro." I said, looking at him.
I made a portal to a cell in The Masque's Home's brig, and threw him in there. Moments later, The Agents Of Karma caught up with me, and Josef said "What now, Karma?"
"Now, we make sure Powerman is ok, and not having too big of a mental breakdown." I twirled out my knives, and shot them at the cameras, destroying them.
"Fancy, I like that." Bucky said, and I nodded, then made a portal underneath us, dropping us into the lab of the base.
"How's it going, Powerman?" I said, looking at where he was, several bullets were shot at him, and his skin was impenetrable, so he was fine.
"Kinda..." He said weakly, and I looked across the room, where his parents were, aiming guns at me and Luke.
I raised my hands in acquiesce. "We're friends here, y'all. Or family, but that's beside the point. I'm going to need y'all to put those down, we can take the shots, but as a sign that we can talk."
They kept their guns up. "We can talk with our guns cocked, thank you very much." Luke's mom said.
I looked at Luke. "Does that mean I can keep my guns cocked too, Powerman?" He shrugged. "I'll take that as a yes." I immediately took out a whole bunch of my guns, cocking them at the ceiling.
"This isn't funny, freak." Luke's dad said.
"Oh, but it is." I said. "You're cocking your gun at a dude, who has the characteristics of the super soldier serum you developed. I thought you were as smart as my parents."
They looked and Luke, and his mom said "Luke? Is that you? Scorpio said you were in his custody."
"It's me." He said. Luke took off his glasses, and his parents lowered their guns, then holstered them, and hugged him, and he hugged them back.
"Yeah, well, I got a base to blast, and bazookas to shoot." I said, a smile in my voice. "Y'all can do all the happy at my place, we're partying 24/7, and there's an extra big party now."
Luke and his parents parted, then Luke asked "Where's Scorpio?"
"Oh, he's chilling in the cell right next to his favorite little brother, Nicholas Fury." I said.
Luke's parents immediately cocked their guns at me again, and I said "Oh, my bad, I forgot your parents didn't know SHIELD wanted them to die. They're still Fury's agents, in a way." I took my mask off, and said "Uhh, Mr. and Mrs. Cage, I don't remember your names, but that's fine for now. So, see, thing is, uhh, how do I say this? Ugh."
"Let me take this one, Peter." Luke said. "So, Mom and Dad, Fury wanted you guys to die that night, he knew you would put the serum in me, so that he could get an unlimited supply -"
"Of the serum, and no one would stop him!" Luke's mom said, realizing. "If we were alive, we wouldn't have let him use it like that! But he still didn't get it, because of your skin!"
"Yeah, that's good and all, but can you guys lower the guns?" I said "Not that it would hurt me, it's just a trust factor in play here."
They immediately holstered their guns again. "Sorry, we should've talked before cocking them at you, our bad." Luke's dad said.
"Yeah, he's the one who told me you guys were alive." Luke said, smiling. "He got us out of SHIELD, and we've been at his place since."
"We?" Luke's mom asked. "Did you get yourself a girlfriend? Who's this we?"
I laughed, and said "No, he didn't get a girlfriend, my hot level takes all the spotlight." Luke nodded at me sadly to concede the point, and I smirked. "He said we, because he wasn't the only superhuman teenager SHIELD was using."
"He isn't wrong though, he's in his words, as hot as heat itself." Luke said "When we go home, you'll meet two of his kids, and his girl that's expecting."
"You're only sixteen, or something." Luke's dad said. "How you already got two kids, and a third on the way?"
"Well, Mr. Cage, I still haven't got your name, I'm not only sixteen, I'm way older, like, way older. And you see this face, and beard, and these eyes, and my attitude?"
"Forget you." Luke said. "How're we going to blow up this place? You probably got some crazy idea, and I for one..."
I silenced him by pulling twenty five bazookas out, and aiming them at the lava. "Surprised, Luke?" I asked.
"I wish I was." He said in resignation. "Let me guess, the explosion is going to have us flying out? Or is it even worse?"
"Even better, Luke." I said. "You meant even better, and I'm going to ignore that you said even worse."
I pulled the triggers, and then after a second, we were thrown back by the explosion, and we were flying up, into a portal.
"Where are we even?" Luke said, as we were still propelling up. "This is a real nice place, but I don't know where we are!"
"We're in one of my planet's atmospheres!" I said, "This was made for joyrides!" Then I made another portal, and we bulleted through it.
"Not cool!" Luke said, at the same time that The Agents said "So cool!" Luke groaned, then said "We're going upside down now!"
"Your parents are enjoying this! So just deal with it, spoilsport!" I said, and laughed at his expression.
We went through several of my planets, in alternating directions, with Luke groaning all the while, and all of us laughing.
Eventually, we had enough, and I made a portal to my home. "The portal we're about to go through leads to our home!" I said.
We landed on the floor of the living room, and some of them shrieked in surprise from our appearance, and I said "Hey y'all!"
"Hey Petr." Wanda said. She said my name interestingly, and I liked it. "How was your trip? Everyone looks like they had fun, except for Luke."
"It was fun, I took them on a joyride on our way home, and Luke wasn't having it for some reason. By the way, I haven't got your names yet, and Mr. and Mrs. Cage is too formal."
"I'm Esther, and this is James." Esther, Luke's mom, said.
"Ok, but I'm not straight up calling you by your name, but I'm not calling you Aunt Esther just yet, so put a hold on calling you anything for now?" I asked, and she looked at me, then smiled.
She looked at Luke, and said "You lucked out on a big brother, I like him."
"Thanks?" I saidasked.
"Forgot me, Daddy Spider?" Talia said in Russian, and I looked at her, then picked her up, and kissed her cheek, then said "It may have only been five minutes, but how you feeling?"
"Will he be doting over her like this for the next couple months?" Shuri asked. "Because I know that I shouldn't coo at the display, but it's too cute."
Death appeared, then said "Well, when I was pregnant with Tarts, he wouldn't leave me for a second, but now he has things to do, so yeah, it'll be like this, more or less."
"I'm fine with that." Nat said, and basically everyone said "that much wasn't obvious!"
I laughed, and said "No, it was obvious. But anyways," I turned to face Maria. "I made a portal for you in your room while we were watching, you'll find it, it's hidden in plain sight, it can go to your office, or your planets, it is connected to your watch, you can decide with that."
"Planets?" Everyone asked.
"Yeah, I made a personalized solar system for each one of you, and I can be at all of them within a moment, their only a lightyear away from each other, and have portals to go to other systems."
Everyone looked at me like I grew another head, and I uncomfortably said "I didn't forget about the portals to the main system, if that's what you guys are worried about. The portals are equipped with the ability to turn into any form of portal, so you can boom, or teleport, or do anything, really." They started looking at me even more strangely. "You can also edit anything you want through your watches, the technology is so well integrated into the nature, they are one and the same." I think I probably had three heads in their eyes now, that's how they were looking at me. "I don't have three heads without me knowing, do I?" I said, patting my head, and only found one head.
Wanda shook her head, then said "I knew you could go over the top with your gifts, but, did I hear that correctly? I have a solar system?"
"Yeah, but I didn't go over the top..." I said, not knowing what was wrong. "Your star is yellow like the normal sun usually, but it's connected to your soul, so whenever you use your powers, and your eyes turn red, it goes red as well, reflecting you, Wand. And the home planet is a lush, green, small planet, that is as small as Mars, and has a nice hut, and a building for your suits. I think I put everything you would want, but if you want something, I could add it."
"What does mine have?" Felicia asked, wonder in her eyes.
"Your system, was tricky, Kitty." I said. "I settled for a star with dark and light powers, making it a dark, bright, black, little bit of white, sun. And your home planet is nice, but what you'd love, is the planet with security. It has every single form of security, in various levels, and the point is for you to practice, and have fun, with your skills. Your dad probably would struggle with even Level one, that's how good it is. It has six hundred levels."
"Wow...and how do I go there?" She asked.
"Go meet your dad first, Kitty." I said. "But if you want to go there, there's a portal in your room here, as well as the one in your room in your house," I looked at everyone, and said "that goes for all of you that live in your own houses, and don't live here. I hope Tony's ok, I didn't realize he wasn't here, and made a portal for him in his room."
"What about mine?" Hunter asked.
"Not yours, Wolf." I said with a smirk. "Tess's, and yours. You're the secondary owner, sorry bro. The star matches Tess's eyes, and the home planet is filled with glorious white wolves, and rivers, and tough trees, and treehouses, and wood cabins, and swinging vines."
"And yet, he says that he didn't go over the top." Nat said "What does my system have?"
"I didn't go over the top!" I said. "It's not like I gave you guys a fifteen foot tall bunny, but I did put things like that in each of your systems. For you Talia, your star, she's black, and has the red hourglass on it. There's a garage planet, filled with every single car you would ever want, in your style. The home planet has separate buildings for knives, guns, escrima sticks, and basically every combat weapon, but the combat weaponry planet has more. The home, is built over a waterfall, and looks at another waterfall, and it's a very intimidating building, but the inside is full with warm colors, just like your personality."
She kissed me, and said "You went over the top, Pete. But it's fine, I love the idea."
"I didn't go over the top!" I said, and when everyone just looked at me, I said "I'm one of the strongest people in the universe, my gifts have to match that! It's not really over the top, it just seems like that in the human scale."
"You did, Petr." Wanda said "I don't think any Celestial ever gave anyone gifts this big."
"That's because most Celestials are arrogant!" I said. "They think humans are merely interesting specimens, even though they owe their lives to a human, but they don't know that! It's funny, their arrogance. So my gift wasn't really that big, y'all."
"You won't be convinced otherwise, will you?" Aunt May said. "I'm just going to go to my solar system, and explore." She got up, and headed to the stairs.
"Me too." Everyone said, going to their own rooms. The stairs were crowded for a minute, then it cleared up.
"Ehh, well, guess it's just me, and you two, Sexi and Tarts." I said.
"Dad, I found this file, that was well hidden, it's from your mom, for you." Sexi said "It has the information on other Black Widows, the ones your mom broke out."
"That'll be useful, how did you find it?" Tarts said.
"I thought there would be something like this, that's how, Cherry Face." Sexi said.
"Good job, Sexi." I said "Can you project the file?"
She did, and I took it all in for a moment, then said "This makes things so much easier."
