These are a few of my favorite scenes from Voyager, written from the characters' perspectives after my first re-watch of the series. All are scenes between the Captain and members of her crew.

In the five years since Voyager's return, life has taken some turns for both Tom and Kathryn, but their friendship endures. Two old friends talk about kids, life, houses ... and share their worries about the troubles ahead.

Chakotay sustains severe injuries for the first time since he and Kathryn began their relationship. As he recovers—blissfully unconscious—She is left to sort out some unexpected feelings. And, as usual, the Doctor is there to help as only he can. This is part of my Sickbay Buddy series but I promise you can read it as a stand alone if you want.

When Esther goes for a walk with her dog Max, she witnesses the crash of a small plane. At least that's what she believes, until she approaches the crash site and discovers that the plane isn't one and the injured pilot is still alive. This is a Resolutions story! As any Janeway/Chakotay fanfic writer'll have you know, we all try our hand at one of these at some point in our fanfic carreer, and this is my take on what happened if Kathryn had loosened up on New Earth a little sooner, like a month or so before Voyager came back for them. Mostly smut/fluff and angst!
