Chapter 11 : Grandline
The day after their departure from Lougwtown, the crew making it real close to the Grandline and now they are near off the Reverse Mountain. Now all they have to is find the entrance and they'll be in the Grandline. However, they just got a big trouble because they just entered the Calm Belt by accident. The Calm belt are strips of water, on either side of the Grandline, where there are no water currents so the ships that enter the Calm Belt usually just drift around or get eaten by the big weird creatures in the sea, which is the sea kings.
But luckily, some of the giant creatures suddenlt appeared and It sneeze them off so they can get away from the Calm Belt.
"So, it seems, that the entrance to the Grandline is really mountain…" Nami mumbled as she studied the map. Reverse Mountain seemed to be very uniqe for a landmass.
"So, how are we supposed to get there? By smashing through the mountain?" Zoro asked.
"YOU'RE CRAZY IDIOT! HOW CAN WE DO THAT!?" Ussop yelled at Zoro and seemed disagree with what Zoro just said.
"No. There's supposed to be an entrance somewhere we just got to find it. Reverse mountain is where the major currents of all the 4 Blues meet up at the top, before draining into the Grandline This means we have to go up the mountain first." Nami said.
"Hey, you mean we need to climb that waterfall overthere with this ship?" Julius suddenly spoke as he pointed towards the waterfall in front of him.
The whole crew turned their gaze towards the direction where Julius was pointing at and they widened their eyes as the saw a big red wall and big waterfall.
"T-that's the red line!" Nami said.
Suddenly, they felt The Going Merry being pulled in certain direction. They attempted to fix this by turning the rudder but….
"This rudder isn't moving! I think the current is too fast!" Ussop called out.
The crew looked out and had wide eyes as the water current was leading into a massive wall of Red Line.
"SHIT! WE'RE GONNA GET CRUSHED BY THAT RED WALL! WHAT SHOULD WE DO!?" Ussop screamed in panicked.
"HOLD ON USSOP!" Nami said.
"What are you planning? You need some help?" Julius asked her.
"I'm searching for the entrance but I still haven't found out yet! If we find the entrance, we can climb the red line and enter the grandly-THERE IT IS!" Nami suddenly pointed and then the crew could see a small opening at the base of the Cliffside.
"Isn't it too small!? Are you sure we can go into that road?" Julius asked.
"I'm sure! We'll make it!" Nami smiled.
Upon getting closer, the six could see that, indeed, water seemed to be flowing upwards towards the summit of the Red Line. The water flowing upwards is the fastest they've ever seen, and one misstep, they could be sent to the bottom of the ocean.
"Alright guys listen up! Just go between the opening and make sure we don't hit the side of the mountain!" Nami ordered.
With some difficulity, the crew managed to get the Going Mery into the entrance and fortunately, nothing is damaged.
"HUUUU! WE DID IT!" Luffy, Sanji, and Ussop cheered.
"Now I know why people are afraid to go to the Grandline. It never crossed my mind that we have to pass through this waterfall to get past the Red Line wall." Julius muttered.
The Going Mery began ascending higher and higer, soon they were above the clouds.
"WOW! THIS IS AMAZING!" Luffy looked around in excitement.
"But look, we're now in the top of the mountain then it's mean we're about to-KIYAAAAAAAAAA!" Ussop screamed in panciked as the ship, now on a descent, blazed downd the slope, the opposite side from where they got up.
"WE'RE GOING TO THE GRANDLINE!" Luffy cheered.
"To become the world greatest swordman.." Zoro smirked.
"To find the All Blue…" Sanji grinned.
"To draw the map of the world.." Nami smiled.
"To prove myself and become the bravest warrior of the sea!" Ussop smiled.
"Be patient Julius. This is the beginning of your journey." Julius smirked.
"THIS IS GREATEST OCEAN IN THE WORLD!" Luffy once again shouted in excitement.

Suddenly, a loud sound heard from nowhere and made all the strawhats confuse.
"Did you guys hear that?" Zoro asked.
"What? It's probably just the wind." Sanji said.
BBBBOOOOOOOOWWWWRRRRR
The same sound was heard again and this time it was louder and made the ship and wall of the Red Line shake.
"Dick-Face, is that another mountain or what?" Julius asked as he pointed at something that looks like a big rock and blocked the ship route.
"Wait a minute.." Ussop lowered the glasses that were on his hat and tried to clearly see what was in front of him. Suddenly, Ussop wideneh his eyes and his body trembled. "S-Shit…"
"What's wrong!?" Julius asked.
They plummeted below cloud cover, and the mysterious black shape was revealed in its full glory.
"I-It can't be…" Zoro mumbled in disbelief
"It's wall?" Luffy still had no clue.
"How on earth…" Sanji muttered in disbelief.
"No…." Nami stuttered.
"So… Say hello to the biggest animal on earth." Julius smiled.
"IT'S A WHALEEEE!" Ussop screamed.
Indeed, the massive black mass is a whale.A whale that's got its head perpendicular to the water leaving its broad frame.
"We're going to crash into it! Ussop yelled.
"Should we fight it?" Julius asked.
"Yeah! Let's do this!" Luffy smiled.
"ARE YOU TWO CRAZY!? WE CAN'T FIGHT A MONSTER LIKE THAT!" Nami yelled at Luffy and Julius.
"But It's blocking our way!" Luffy retorted.
"But, up close like this, It looks like a big wall. Where are the eyes?" Sanji asked.
"Oh! Then It may not be aware of us yet!" Nami smiled.
"But we're headed right for it! There's an opening to the left! Hard to port!" Zoro said.
"The whip-staff's broken!" Ussop yelled.
"Then do something! I'll help you!" Zoro said.
"Hey! I've got an idea! Julius! Come with me!" Luffy said.
"Okay.." Julius nodded his head.
Luffy and Julius were running downstairs, to where the cannon is.
"Well, it's the only way we have right now, so let's give it shot!" Zoro declalred and tried his best to steer Mery with the water working against them.
However, the force of water was just too great, and even with Sanji and Ussop pitching in, nobody could steer the ship. They were getting closer and closer to the whale, and it was starting to become desperate.
BOOOOM!
Suddenly, the main cannon of the Going Mery fired and sending everyone into shocked.
"YOSSH! Did you see that? My aim doesn't miss anymore! It hit right on that wall!" Luffy smiled.
"Yeah, I admit it. You did a good shot capt!" Julius smiled.
But, even with that it was still too fast. Mery managed to stop, but it wasn't slow enough and her figurehead smacked into the whale, snapping it clean off sending it flying to the back of the ship.
"MY FAVORITE SEAT!" Luffy cried out in anguish.
"Wow. It got shot by the cannon but It didn't move even an inch?" Julius muttered in disbelief.
"That's good! Now let's get out of here!" Zoro beckoned. They didn't want to draw attention, so instead they decided to row. Everboudy was anxious at what the whale would do to them this close to it.
Julius went back upstairs and saw his friends who were rowing to avoid the whale. Nami who saw Julius' arrival immediately ran towards him and took cover behind him.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Julius asked.
"I'm scared!" Nami snapped.
"Scared of what?" Julius asked.
"The whale of course!" Nami said.
Julius then turned around and looked at Nami. Julius smirked when he saw Nami's clothes. Nami is wearing a light blue tank top with a heart on the chest showing her cleavage and she is wearing a short dark blue skirt.
"You really have a good taste in dressing up." Julius winked.
"Don't think about that. We better find a way to escape the whale." Nami said.
"Escape? Why do we have to run away? If the whale dares to attack us then we strike back." Julius said.
"Are you crazy!? How can you attack a massive creature like that!? You saw it with your own eyes that even the cannon didn't work on it!" Nami snapped.
"Maybe the cannon is too weak. We must try something else like sword, spear or something sharp." Julius said.
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" Nami screamed in anger.
Suddenly, Nami and Julius saw Luffy who was going upstairs and gave the whale a cold glare. But Nami was sure that from the look of his face, Luffy is pissed off.
"L-Luffy…" Nami muttered.
"You bastard.. HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY FAVORITE SEAT!" Luffy shouted in anger and punched the whale right on It eye.
The whole crew widened their eyes and their jaws instantly met the deck of the ship. After their efforts to escape from the whale, Luffy suddenly came and hit the whale and of course made the whale aware of their existence.
"YOU STUPID! WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?" The whole crew yelled at their captain except Julius who found this interesting.
"Nice strike capt. Need some help?" Julius asked.
"DO NOT DO IT!" Nami yelled at Julius.
The whale started move a bit and called out again, before Its pupil shifted downwards.
"IT SEES US!" Ussop screamed in fear.
"Now we are done…." Nami cried as she hugged Julius.
"WHAT!? YOU WANT MORE!?" Luffy shouted and he still challenged the big whale.
The whale bellowed once again, its massive cave of a mouth snapped open and water begam pulling the crew into the creature's open orifice. Luffy was fortunate enough to use his rubber limbs to grab onto a tooh and vault onto the whale's back and the rest of them get eaten by the whale.
"WE'RE BEING EATEN!" Nami screamed.
And finally, the whale closed its mouth and trapping them in utter darkness. However, the unbelievable things happen, they saw a blue skies, puffy clouds, and an island.
"W-what? Where are we?" Nami asked.
"Don't tell me this is heaven…" Ussop smiled.
"Don't be ridiculous. There's no such a thing called heaven or hell. We're inside the whale's stomach." Julius said,
"Really? How can there be clouds and sky inside the belly of a whale?" Sanji asked.
"Maybe this is the truth. This is what is inside the belly of the whale. This world is full of mysteries as well as animals, especially sea animals." Julius answered.
"You're the one who being ridiculous, Julius." Zoro said.
The crew spent a bit more time arguing what is going on, until the water before the them suddenly started to bubble. Not a moment later did a giant squid burst out of the water, gurgling as its potential prey.
"IT'S A SQUID! GIANT SQUID!" Nami and Ussop screamed in fear and both of them immediately ran and hid behind Julius.
Nami and Ussop grabbed Julius' leg tightlt with their pleaded eyes. "Julius, you're the only who can save us." Ussop said.
"Please, protect this cute and pretty girl." Nami said.
Julius just sighed and shook his head. "Don't be a cry baby. You decided to become a pirate and you have to be prepared with all the risks and you can't keep asking for my protection. What if one day I leave you?"
Nami and Ussop widened their eyes at Julius word. "W-what?" Ussop asked in disbelief.
"You're gonna leave us?" Nami muttered in shock.
"Forget that. I'll kill that squid." Julius said.
The squid roared and prepared to swing his tentacles at the Mery. Julius took out his sword and was about to slash the squid however, 3 harpoons suddenly embedded themselves into squid's flesh, the invertebrate letting loose a loud groan of anguish before it slumped over, dead.
The crew noticed that the pointed objects were fired from the small hut that is located on the island just ahead of them.
Soon, an old man appeared from a small house. An elder-looking man wearing a colorful shirt, with a large flower like frill behind his head. Despite his age, the man seemed to be glowing with health. The man slowly strolled out of the hut, not taking his eyes of the crew. His state is intense, and it visibly unnerved everybody. Seconds turned to minutes as the old man's gaze locked itself onto the crew.
The old man threw his arm out, and sat down on a white lawn chair to read newspaper.
"SAY SOMETHING YOU ASSHOLE!" Sanji yelled at the old man.
"Y-You shitty old man! Don't you dare to attack us because we have a cannon right here!" Ussop said.
The man's gaze hardened at that, and a dramatic feeling swept accros the crew. It was now that the man finally spoke. "Don't or someone will die."
This sent a chill down everyone's spines. Zoro and Sanji stiffened, Nami and Ussop hugged each other becauser they were scared, however, Julius just smiled.
"Really? And who do think that would be?" Sanji asked.
"Me." The old man said.
"SCREW YOU!" Sanji yelled again at the old man and about to attack the old man however, Zoro stopped him.
"Relax. I'll try talking to him." Zoro said to Sanji and then he turned his gaze at the old man. "Yo O-San, what is your name and where are we?"
The same dramatic feeling washed over the crew again as the old man continued to stare. "When you're asking a question to a stranger, shouldn't you introduce yourself first?" The old man asked.
"A-Ah! You're right. I'm sorry for being rude. My name is Roronoa-"
"I'm Crocus. I am the keeper of the Twin Capes Light house. I am 71 years old and I'm Gemini."
"Can I kill him now!?" Now Zoro was getting pissed off as well because when he was about to introduce himself, the old man interrupted him.
"Enough! You fucking bloody old man, tell me where are we and how we can get out of here before I slice your head into pieces." Julius said.
Zoro and Sanji immediately turned their gaze at Julius and seemed annoyed by what Julius had said to the old man.
"Why are you being rude?" Zoro asked.
"Maybe he's a jerk but he's stil an old man." Sanji said.
However, Crocus smiled at Julius. "Young boy, you're accent is very familiar in my ear. Tell me, are you from the island to the north of East Blue called Emperium Romanium?"
Julius widened his eyes and seemed surprise. He didn't expect that this old man knew about his hometown."How did you know I was from Romanium?" Julius asked.
"You didn't pay attention, did you? I said, your accent is very strong and anyone who hears you speak will know you are from Romanium." Crocus smiled.
Julius narrowed his eyes and annoyed at this. "I don't like it when people talk like they know about my hometown."
"Do you really think that I have no clue about Romanium? Didn't I tell you that I'm 71 years old right now and I've been travelled around the world. Including the Romanium. At that time, the king of Romanium was Juliano D, Maximus and he was one of my enemy back then." Crocus smiled.
Julius shocked and widened his eyes again. His body trembled and he clenched his fist tightly. All the strawhats were aware that Julius was pissed of and this is the first time they saw Julius was so angry.
Nami who saw Julius was angry, walked towards him and tried to calm him down. "Julius, are you okay?"
"Wait a minute. I think I've heard about Romanium before when I was kid. Isn't Romanium an empire that was destroyed by the world government 15 years ago because it was considered a threat to world peace and considered a terrorist empire?" Sanji asked.
"If the old man says that the king of Romanium was named Juliano D, Maximus, then that means you're one of his descendants because your name is Juliano D, Julius." Zoro said.
"Wait! Are you saying that, Julius was from a noble family?" Ussop asked.
And this time, Crocus who widened his eyes when he heard Julius's complete name. "Juliano, D Julius? Then, you're…"
"Okay let's stop talking about that people who already dead and the empire who was totally wiped out. I would like to know where are we know, and how the fuck can get outta here?" Julius annoyed.
"Alright alright, if you say so. So if you want to know where you are, Do you remember what you all just did?" Crocus said.
"Eaten by a big whale." Julius simply answered.
"Do you know the way how do we get out of here?" Nami asked.
And once again the Strawhats were greeted by the same dramatic feeling they felt earlier as Crocus gave them some awkward glare.
"STOP DOING THAT!"
"If you want to get out of here, the exit is right there." Crocus pointed to a door, on the side of the whale.
"WE CAN LEAVE!?"
"You're a weird old man who live in a weird place, and not to mention your weird outfit. However, thank your for your guide and now we can leave this place." Julius said.
"Y-You're right Julius, this place is weird. The sky, the clouds, ALL OF IT'S DRAWN! IT'S ALL PAINTED INSIDE THE WHALE!" Ussop screamed and stared at Crocus accusingly.
"See? Only people with mental disorders would do such a thing like these. Instead of coming out of this whale's belly, he decorated it and lived in it." Julius muttered.
"You all don't have a good sense of humor." Crocus said.
"YOU ARE WEIRD!"
After all the pointless debate with Crocus, the strawhats were about to leave when everything began shaking and waves began to form. Crocus looked up and sighed.
"Laboon is ramming his head agains the Red Line again.." Crocus muttered.
"Laboon? You mean… this whale?" Julius asked.
"But why would he do that?" Sanji asked.
"He's breaking his head against it, trying to breakthrough. I keep telling him it's impossible, but he's a stubborn whale." Crocus explained.
"That's right! Didn't the whale have what looked like scars on its head?" Nami asked.
"Yeah. It was because he rammed his head against the wall of Red Line." Crocus said.
"What a stupid whale. But we havet to get outta here as soon as possible. The this beast keeps hitting himself, it's going to make the water here even more turbulent." Julius said.
And after that, they drifted to the door to think of a way open it. As they're searching their brain to figure out a way to bust open the iron cast door, they heard a plethora of screams erupt and getting closer and closer, then the door burst open and 3 people popped out, screaming. One of them in particular was very familiar.
"Wait! Is that Luffy!?" Zoro looked up.
"SAVE ME!" Luffy cried out as he landed heavily on the deck of the Going Mery. "Hey everyone! There's a door on the side of the whale! Isn't weird?" The boy called to them.
"Your face is werid!" Julius snapped at him.
"Oh anyway, I met these two weirdos on my way in." Luffy said.
"You two again!? You're back for Laboon, aren't you!?" Suddenly, Crocus screamed and seemed annoy by their appearance.
"That's right old man! You better stay out of our way if you don't wanna get hurt!" Another new voice was heard.
When the crew went to check, the Say Crocus confronted by two people they say moments before, apparently all of them landed on the ship. One of them was a man of middle height, long orange hair, and green coat. The other was a slim young lady with blue hair tied into pony tail wearing what appears to be lime colored fur coat with and a dress with what appears to be swirls designed on it, which fit perfectly with her hourglass figure.
"Are they a pirates, Mr.9?" The blue haired girl asked.
"Yes . But surely they'll understand if I explain the situation to them." The orange haired guy, or Mr.9 answered.
"AS LONG AS I LIVE, YOU'LL NEVER HARM LABOON!" Crocus shouted at them.
"Heheheh really? But we're already in its stomach! There's nothing to stop us from blasting a hole right through its inside!" Mr.9 said as he and launched a shot, the duo laughing as they did so, However, Crocus blocked the shot with his body and made the two shocked and widened their eyes.
"That old man…" Ussop mumbled in shock.
"He's protecting the whale." Sanji said.
"Stubborn old man! I told you not to get in our way!" Mr.9 pulled his cannon out to attempt a strike at the old man.
But before they could do anything, Luffy suddenly punched them in the back of their heads and knocked them out.
"I hate them." Luffy said.
"Mr.9 and … I'm sure it's not the real name but I think I'm familiar enough with that kind of nickname." Julius mumbled to himself. He then turned his gaze at Zoro. "Yo, you were a pirate hunter, weren't you? Have you ever heard about Baroque Works?"
"Yeah. I've been invited to join them before." Zoro smirked.
Julius nodded his head and smiled. "So, it seems they are the subordinate of the Shicibukai." Julius muttered slowly and then he turned his gaze at Ussop. "Dick-Face, please tie them both up and make sure you tie them tightly so they can't escape."
"Aye sir!" Ussop gave him a salute and immediately tied Mr.9 and up.
"Yo old man? Why are you here? Are you also trapped in here?" Luffy asked to Crocus.
"Nope. I'm this whale keeper. I would like to say thank to all of you because you helped me protect Laboon from these two." Crocus smiled.
"Ah speaking of Laboon, may I know why It keep hitting himself on the Red Line?" Ussop asked.
"50 years ago, Laboon met some pirates after becoming lost and and separated from his pod and began following them in his loneliness. After a while, they noticed how sad he looked and they cheered him up by singing and as a result, Laboon continued to follow them. But one day, the pirates left Laboon and Laboon refused them and the captain of that pirates, promising Laboon that they would return again however, the pirates didn't return after over 50 years." Crocus explained.
"Wow… Even after 50 years, this whale still waiting for the pirates." Nami muttered.
"What a dramatic story from a pathetic animal, but I think we have something important to do. We need to get out of here right now." Julius said.
"You're cruel!" Nami snapped at Julius.
"So what?" Julius only shrugged his shoulders.
"Okay then, let's get out of here!" Luffy said.
"But what should we do to these two?" Ussop asked as he looked at Mr 9 and Ms Wednesday.
"Throw them into the water." Julius said.

The crew have now made it out of the giant whale, happy to see the real sky again and they already threw Mr 9 and Ms Wednesday into the sea. Now, they are watching Laboon continue to bellow and slam his head into the wall. To think that an animal can have an almost human-like heart.
"LISTEN TO ME LABOON! THEY'LL NEVER COME BACK! I KNOW YOU DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE IT, BUT YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT IT!" Crocus shouted as he saw Laboon continue to do crazy things like that and he couldn't take it anymore.
However, Laboon didn't hear Crocus' words and kept banging his head against the Red Line wall. The entire Strahwats crew as well as Crocus were worried because if Laboon kept doing that, he would die.
"UOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
However, they were all startled by a very loud scream and they saw Luffy carrying a long wooden pole and running up Laboon's body.
"H-Hei, isn't that pole…." Julius widened his eyes in shocked because the long wooden pole that Luffy is carrying is the mast of their ship
"GOMU-GOMU NO : BOUQUET!" Luffy screamed as he stuck the mast of the ship he was carrying into Laboon's body.
Laboon widened his eyes and suddenly he stopped ram his head into the wall and screamed in pain.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?" Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and even Crocus shouted at what Luffy did to Laboon.
"LUFFY! IT'S THE MAST OF OUR SHIP!" Ussop shouted.
However, Julius just silenced and didn't say a word. He didn't understand with what Luffy did. Julius felt like, Luffy is a person who has a unique mind and is very difficult to predict. "Luffy… I think you can be a very dangerous person for me. Should I kill you now?" Julius mumbled to himself.
It didn't stop there, now Julius saw Luffy fighting Laboon and made him even more surprised. He knew that no matter what Luffy did, Luffy would still lose because Laboon was much stronger than him.
"IT'S DRAW!" Luffy suddenly said. "I'm pretty strong huh?" Luffy smirked at Laboon.
Laboon just silenced and looked Luffy in the eyes. Laboon is like seeing the shadow of the pirate he met 50 years ago in Luffy.
"Our battle isn't over yet. We still have to settle it. Your friends may be gone for good but now you've got a rival, me! After we finish our adventure in the Grandline, I'm coming back here to fight you again!" Luffy said.
Laboon thought about it for a bit, then bellowed in agreement, finally the big whale had something to wait for again. Hearing this, everyone aboard the Going Mery smiled at the scene finally understanding the whole point of that demonstration.
Luffy then painted the joly roger of the Strawhats pirates on Laboon's head but, as you know that Luffy isn't really good at painting or drawing and turned out to be a horrify drawing.
"RIGHT! OKAY! That mark is our contarct!" Luffy said and seemed very proud. "So, don't go ramming into stuff and erasing it before we get back!"
"You guys are something." Crocus laughed. He is genuinely glad that the boy managed to convince Laboon to stop his head smashing, something he wasn't able to do for years.
"AAAAAAAAA!"
Suddenly, they heard a scream and found out that Nami had panicked expression on her face while staring at the rapidly spinning compass now in her hands.
"W-what happen to the compass!?" She whimpered.
Julius immediately turned his gaze at the compass and narrowed his eyes. "I think its broken. The needle on this compass can no longer work properly and can't show the direction of an island."
"You're right, Romanium boy, the cause of the broken compass needle is because you are now in the Grandline. " Crocus informed them. "More precisely, it's due to the irregular currents that pass through and the abnormal magnetic fields that the island have." Crocus then turned his gaze at Nami. "You're the navigator right? Then you know how much trouble you guys are in?"
"Y-Yes! I mean, How are supposed to sail if we don't even know where we're going!?" Nami panicked.
"What you need here is a Log Pose." Crocus said.
"Log Pose? What's that?" Nami asked.
"It's a Grandline's compass, right old man?" Julius eyed Crocus.
"Correct. It is a device that locks onto a single island and memorizes its magnetic field. Sort of like a compass but different. To navigate to the Grandline, the log pose must readapt to a new magnetic field each time you wish to travel to a new location. There 7 routes starting from here, and you'll have to pick one to travel on." Crocus explained.
"W-wow, I don't know abou that.." Nami surprised.
"You came to the Grandline unprepared. Just getting into the Grandline is hard enough. Without a log pose, navigation is impossible." Crocus told them.
"You mean the thing like this?" Luffy asked as he showed Crocus some strange object and it looks like a compass.
"Yeah, that's the log pose." Crocus nodded his head.
"Wait.. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT!?" Nami screamed and punched Luffy.
"Those strange people dropped it when they left!" Luffy said.
"You mean, the weird orange guy and the blue haired chick?" Julius asked.
"Yeah! They dropped it and I took it! Why'd you hit me!?" Luffy snapped at Nami.
"Just cause.." Nami answered.
"Anyway, if you have that, you'll have an easier time navigating." Crocus said.
"Yeay! Then we can set sail again!" Luffy cheered.
"Wait Luffy, If you told me that you took the Log Pose from those two, how many log poses did you find?" Julius asked.
"I only found one. Why do you ask?" Luffy asked.
"A-ah nothing. It would be better if we have two log poses to anticipate if one of the log poses breaks, we still have a replacement." Julius said.
"Here.." Crocus suddenly threw a log pose to Julius and Julius caught it. "Use mine." Crocus smiled
Julius then smirked put the log pose around his wrist. "Thanks old man!"
Julius then looked around and he found a small boat near the Going Mery and his smirk grew wider. "Okay guys, listen up because I have something to tell you."
Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Ussop, and Sanji immediately turned around and turned their gaze at Julius.
"What's wrong Julius?" Luffy asked.
"How long have we been sailing together?" Julius asked.
"Around 4 months I guess, why?" Nami asked.
"4 months huh? Then thanks for the 4 months we have spent together and from now on, I'm out of your pirates and will make my own pirate." Julius said.
Everyone widened their eyes in shock at what Julius had just said. Of course they were not prepared and did not expect that Julius would suddenly say such a thing.
"W-what? A-are you joking right?" Ussop asked in disbelief.
"Ah Dick-Face, I mean Ussop. You're a funny guy and to be honest I like you but you're too weak to become my crew." Julius smiled.
"Hey, this is not funny and you better stop say such a ridiculous thing." Sanji said.
"I'm not joking and I'm serious." Julius said.
"You know, I don't care if you want to leave us or not but your excuse is unacceptable. We all have our differences and that's why we come together and cover each other's flaws." Zoro said.
"You're wrong. That's not the point. It will take a long time for me to explain what I really mean and I will just waste my time." Julius retorded.
Nami grifted her teeh and clenched her fist in anger and tears started out from her eyes. "YOU JERK! JUST TELL US WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? DID WE EVER DO SOMETHING WRONG TO YOU!?" Nami screamed out of her lungs.
"Bitch would you like to lower your voice? Because you're hurting my eardrum. From the start I didn't intend to be a part of you guys. My real purpose in coming with you guys was just to go to the Grandline. Only that." Julius said.
"W-what…." Nami muttered in disbelief.
Zoro then turned his gaze at Luffy who looked silent and glared at Julius. "So, how is it captain?"
Luffy gave Julius a cold stare and Luffy seemed quite annoyed with Julius. However, for Luffy, Julius is his first partner and one of the founders of the Straw Hat Pirates and of course Luffy knows that Julius is very strong and has even helped him a lot during these 4 months.
"What are you gonna after this?" Luffy asked.
"Didn't you hear me? I said I'll make my own pirates and go to the Raftel and find One Piece." Julius said.
"You want to become a pirate King?" Luffy asked.
"Nope. I want to become the King of the world. It's far greater then become a pirate King because even the pirate King, must kneel before the king of the world." Julius smirked.
"In one condition." Luffy said.
"Say it." Julius smiled.
"Fight me. If you win, you may leave but if I win, you won't go anywhere." Luffy said.
"Then let's fight!" Julius smiled.
