Chapter 12 : Julius vs Luffy
"Didn't you hear me? I said I'll make my own pirates and go to the Raftel and find One Piece." Julius said.
"You want to become a pirate King?" Luffy asked.
"Nope. I want to become the King of the world. It's far greater then become a pirate King because even the pirate King, must kneel before the king of the world." Julius smirked.
"In one condition." Luffy said.
"Say it." Julius smiled.
"Fight me. If you win, you may leave but if I win, you won't go anywhere." Luffy said.
"Then let's fight!" Julius smiled.
All the strawhats widened their eyes in shock and of course they were worry because they knew that Luffy and Julius were friend.
"WAIT! I don't think this fight is necessary!" Ussop tried to stop them.
"Don't interfere Dick-Face. He said himself that he wanted to fight me." Julius said.
Nami on the other hand kept shedding tears because she couldn't stand to see her two best friends fight over silly things. For her, Luffy is a very cheerful person and has also helped her a lot. For Julius, even though he was an annoying and cruel man, it was undeniable that it was Julius who had defeated Arlong and liberated her village.
"No please! Listen to me! You can talk about this and there's no need to fight! I mean, you two are friends! Are you trying to kill each other!?" Nami yelled at them.
Julius just sighed and scratched the back of his head. "You hear that capt? The girl over there told us not to fight. So, are really going to fight me or let me leave peacefully?"
Luffy clenched his fist tightly and gave Julius a death glare. "GOMU-GOMU NO : PISTOL!" Luffy stretched his punch and launched his attack towards Julius.
Julius just smiled and tilted his head a bit to avoided Luffy's attack. "You're not gonna win. I'm stronger than you."
Luffy grifted his teeth in anger and he ran towards Julius and recklessly attacked Julius. "GOMU-GOMU NO : GATTLING!"
Luffy used his stretching ability to bring his fist forward repeatedly in a blurry, rapid barrage of strong punches that created the illusion of him having multiple arms. However, Julius knew that Luffy didn't actually grow more arms and plus, he already mastered the observation haki and enabled him to dodge all of Luffy's attacks.
"W-Wow! He managed to dodge all of those!?" Ussop said in disbelief.
"STOP PLEASE! YOU DON'T NEED TO THIS!" Nami shouted. She was about to run and tried to stop the fight but Zoro stopped her and made her even more annoyed. "WHAT!? Can't you see they're fighting now!?"
"It's captain decision. You must obey all the decisions that have been taken by Luffy. Remember, we are pirates, not a discussion group." Zoro said.
Nami just grifted her teeth in anger and she turned her gaze at Sanji and hoping that Sanji could help her. "Sanji-Kun! Please…."
Sanji just shook his head. "He's right Nami-San. I know that Julius is very important to you and I know that you have a special feeling to him. So let's hope Luffy can win this fight and Julius will stay with us."
"TCH! YOU ARE JERK! ALL OF YOU!" Nami shouted in tears and she turned around and left them because she couldn't stand to watch the battle between Luffy and Julius then she went into her room.
Meanwhile, Luffy kept attacking Julius but none of his attacks managed hurt Julius.
"Are you done? Do you call this a fight?" Julius provoked him.
"SHUT UP! I'LL BEAT YOU AND YOU WILL STAY WITH US!" Luffy shouted.
Luffy stopped his gattling and launched another attack. "GOMU-GOMU NO : RIFFLE!"
Luffy twisted his arm around as he stretched it behind and tried to hit Julius at close range. Seeing the attack was coming, Julius jumped up in order to dodged Luffy's attack and finally, he took out his sword.
"BLACK SLICE!" Julius swang his sword and threw a big black slashed from his sword towards Luffy.
SREEEET!
"UAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!" Luffy screamed in pain as Julius' attack hit his body and made him spit out some blood from his mouth.
Zoro, Sanji, and Ussop widened their eyes when the saw Luffy was lying on the ground with his body badly injured. They could see that a single attack from Julius was able to overwhelm Luffy and make Luffy seriously injured. They are starting to worry that if this fight continues, Luffy might die.
"So this is it. I leave now," Julius said as he turned around and started to leave.
"WAIT! IT'S NOT OVER YET!" Luffy shouted and started to get up again.
"Huuufft… What a stubborn…" Julius sighed.
"I'm gonna win and I will-"
"Alright, alright. You can say whatever you want but I won't change my mind. Let's finish this fight so I can start my own journey." Julius cut off Luffy's word.
WUUSSH!
Suddenly, a black smoked appeared and the black smoke enveloped Julius' body, causing Julius' entire body to turn black.
"Come on you rubber bastard!" Juliu said.
"GOMU-GOMU NO : BAZOOKA!"
Luffy stretched both of his arms far back, and then hurls them forward, tried to striking Julius with both instantaneously with a double open palm strike with both hands.
However, Luffy widened his eyes when he saw Julius who was moving very fast and managed to dodge his attack easily and in the blink of an eye, Julius was already in front of Luffy and had swung his sword.
"It's over.." Julius whispered.
"W-what!?" Luffy shocked because he knew, he couldn't dodge anymore.
"Darkness Mode : One sword style : Dark Slash!"
Julius pointed his sword at Luffy and a black slash moved swiftly towards Luffy. Luffy could only widen his eyes in shocked and he was unable to dodge the attack.
SREEET!
"UAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
The black slash hit Luffy and tore the front of his body. Blood came out of his body and Luffy was sent flying towards the Merry and fell unconscious.
"LUFFY!" Ussop and Sanji screamed as the saw Luffy who badly injured and his whole body was covered by blood.
On the other hand, Zoro didn't move and didn't say any word but he kept looking at Julius who smiled at him.
"It's over. You may leave, vice captain." Zoro said coldly.
"Thank you for your understanding. However, considering that I am no longer part of the Straw Hat Pirates, you are now the vice-captain. After all, the first person Luffy looked for in his crew was you." Julius smiled.
Julius then turned his gaze at Crocus and smiled. "Old man, thanks for the log pose."
Crocus who had been watching the fight between Luffy and Julius just stood still and didn't take any action. For some reason, he felt that Luffy and Julius would be the two people who would turn the world upside down. Just like his former captain and his former captain worst enemy.
Julius then turned his gaze back at Zoro. "One more thing, tell Nami that don't forget about her promise because one day, I'll be back to her."
After saying that, Julius turned around and walked towards the small boat near the Going Mery and finally, he left the strawhat pirate officially.
Julius smiled with satisfaction because in the end he was able to leave East Blue and start his new life in the Grandline thanks to the help of Luffy and his friends. Even though Julius only took advantage of them, it was undeniable that Julius considered them all his friends and he tried his best not to hurt them.
On the other hand, for the entire Straw Hat crew, of course they feel very lost because after all, they already consider Julius as their family and have great respect for Julius as the vice captain. But they still don't believe that Julius has other goals and they can't stop Julius because they realize that Julius is even stronger than Luffy.
"It's time to show this world who Juliano D, Julius is!" Julius smirked.

8 Hours Later
8 hours after left the Strawhats, Julius used a small boat to find an island to searched some food and he planned to steal a sizeable ship on the island. Since he already had the log pose, he didn't have to worry about getting lost at sea because the log pose was the most accurate compass for sailing the Grandline.
Afternoon had come and finally he arrived at an island. An island that looks quite peaceful and quite crowded. Julius continued to row his boat until he reached the shore of the island and left the boat there.
"So, this is the first island that I encounter in the Grandline. Let's see what they've got!" Julius said as he started to enter the town.
When entering the city on the island, Julius saw quite a lot of people who were on the move. Saw children playing, and saw some drunken men. But Julius realized that several pairs of eyes were watching him and he heard the people talking about him. He then activated his observation haki and tried to hear what they were talking about more clearly. Julius smiled when he found out that the people in this city actually recognized him and they were all pirate hunters.
'I forget that I already got a bounty and seem these people planning to take my head.' Julius thought However, Julius kept walking and ignored them all and pretended not to know anything. He waited until someone tried to attack him first while he saw how strong the people here were for him to
He kept walking until he finally found a bar. Before he left the strawhats, he had already taken quite a bit of money from them. He then entered the bar and sat at the bar his subordinate.
"Yo old man, give me the best alcohol that you've got here," Julius said.
"It's a little bit expensive. You got some money right?" The bartender asked.
"How much?" Julius asked.
"200 hundred berry." The bartender answered.
Julius reached his pocket and took out 200 hundred berry and he gave it to the bartender. "Here's your money."
The bartender smiled and took all the money. "Wait a minute sir." The bartender then gave Julius a bottle of whiskey.
"Thank you." Julius said as he opened up the bottle and started to drink.
"You're not from here, aren't you? I've never seen you face before." Ther bartender.
"Yeah. I came from East Blue and I just entered the Grandline 8 hours ago. This is the first time I visit this town and also my first town in Grandline." Julius answered.
"Are you a pirate?" The bartender asked.
"Yeah, why?" Julius asked.
"So you better be careful. A lot of bounty hunter live here and they earn money from killing pirates." The bartender warned.
"I'm aware of that. Don't worry, they're not strong enough to take my head." Julius smiled.
"If you say so." The bartender smiled.
"By the way, what's the name of this town? Is there anyone famous in here? Like a fighter, murderer, or something like that?" Julius asked.
"Whiskey Peak. And to answer your question, This city has been controlled by one of the well-known terrorist organizations. The navy doesn't even dare touch this organization because this organization is controlled by one of the Shicibukai." The bartender answered.
"Ah, let me guess, Baroque works?" Julius smirked.
"H-How do you know?" The bartender looked surprise.
"I encountered some of them about 8 hours ago. They're not as scary as people say." Julius said.
Clack!
Suddenly, the bar's door opened and revealed a tall and slender young woman with shoulder-length black hair, blue eyes and tanned skin. She wore a revealing cowgirl outfit consisting of a purple cleavage-exposing corset and matching mini skirt and paired with a purple cowboy hat and purple high-heeled boots.
When that woman came in, everyone inside the bar went silent and seemed they were afraid of that woman. The woman walked towards the bar table and sat next to Julius.
"A wine please." The woman ordered.
"Y-yes mam!" The bar tender immediately served a bottle of wine for her.
The woman only smiled to the bar tender and turned her gaze to Julius. "Have we met before?"
"No, we have not." Julius simply shook his head.
"Is that so? Because you look like the pirate I was looking for." The woman said.
"And who would that be?" Julius asked.
"Juliano D, Julius." The woman smiled sweetly.
"Then nice to meet you, Nico Robin." Julius also smiled sweetly.
"So, it happen that seems we know each other even though we have never met before in person. Nice to meet you, black wizard." Nico Robin said.
"It would be strange if I did not recognize you. You are very popular and famous among pirates and also world governments because of your ability to read the ancient writings or poneglyphs. That's the reason why people called you the devil child and got a bounty at the age of eight. Am I correct?" Julius asked.
Robin just smiled and didn't seem offended by what Julius just said. "You know me pretty well, don't you? Are you my stalker?"
"Stalker? That's a harsh word. But, I've no idea that you are such a beautiful woman." Julius said as he moved his hand and touch her thigh.
"Looks like we can't continue our conversation here, right? Come with me, I know the right place for us to talk." Robin said.
"With my pleasure." Julius smiled.

Julius and Robin decided to continue their conversation in a motel not far from the bar. Now they were both in the room and started their conversation.
"So, what do you want to talk?" Julius asked.
"I work for the organization called Baroque works. This organization was controlled by one of the Shicibukai, Crocodile and I the vice boss of Baroque works. Mr Crocodile send me to meet you and he would like to invite to the Baroque works." Robin said.
Julius nodded his head and smiled. He reached his pocket and took out a cigarette and lit it up. "Join the terrorist organization huh? Sounds bad to me. What does he offer?"
"Not to much, only protection from the marines." Robin said
"It's obvious because he's a Shicibukai. What would happen if reject this offer and what would happen if accept this offer?" Julius asked.
"It's very simple. If you accept this offer, you'll be one of us and Mr Crocodile will protect from the marines. But, if you reject it, I'm afraid I have to kill you right now and all the strahwat pirates." Robin smiled.
Julius shook his head and he smiled. "You're a foolish girl, aren't you? I think there's misunderstanding here. First, I'm not part of the strawhat pirate anymore and you could kill them all because it's nothing to do with me. Second, do you really think that you can kill me?"
"That's a surprise. I didn't know that you left the strawhat pirates but, I think the one who don't understand the situation is you. Do you really think that you can escape from me? From this town?" Robin smirked.
Clack!
Suddenly, the room's door opened and reaveled 2 women. One of them is a young slim woman of above average height with curly dark-blue haired, thick lips, dark green eyes, pale skin, and a curvaceous figure. She wore a purple tank top with pink embroideries drawn across it and green ornaments that ressemble some kind of bushes representations. She also wore dark brown low-riding pants, platform sandal, She is Miss Doublefinger, the second highest ranking female officer of the Baroque works. The other one was a tall young woman with short hair blond haired and bright green eyes. She wore a yellow and orange hat, as well as a yellow dress with a lemon-like pattern, lemon earrings, and white high heeled shoes.
"Need some help, Miss all Sunday?" Miss Valentine asked.
"Wow! I didn't know that the Black Wizard is a hot guy!" Miss Doublefingers winked at Julius.
"So, I think I'm surrounded by a bunch of creepy girls huh?" Julius smirked.
"So, choose wisely, Juliano-San. If you still want to live you better accept my offer and join the Baroque works." Robin said.
Julius nodded his head and turned his gaze at Robin. "How about we make a little bet?"
"Bet?" Robin asked.
"I'll join your stupid organization if one of you can defeat me. I don't mind if the three of you work together to beat me and I have no problem with 3 vs 1. However, If win…." Julius smirked grew wider. "You all will be my slave and maybe will be my private toilet? How is it sound?"
The three widened their eyes in shocked and taken back by what Julius just said. However they just smiled and confident that they would win this bet. After all, Julius just a rookie pirates.
"I have no problem with that. How about you, Miss Valentine, Miss Doublefingers?" Robin asked.
"Hehehe you're just a pervert arent't you? But it's okay, I'm in." Miss Valentine said.
"Private toilet huh? It's really interesting but I think the one who will be a private toilet is you. Juliano-San!" Miss Doublefingers licked her lips.
Julius just smiled and he stood up and did some stretched. "Then let's go! What are you waiting for?"
"As you wish Mr Black Wizard!" Miss Doublefingers smirked.
Miss Doublefingers immediately launched towards Julius. Miss Doublefingers turned her hands into spikes and tried to stab Julius with her spike hands. However, jumped aside and managed to dodged her attacks.
"Devil fruit huh? Now I know why you're so confident." Julius smiled.
"Fufufufu, then you better give up before I tear the skin of yours." Miss Doublefingers said.
"But that's how weak people think. They rely too much on the power of their devil fruit and underestimate their enemies. But, what happens if you can't use your devil fruit?" Julius smirked.
"W-Weak!? Who do you call weak!? I'll show how strong I am!" Miss Doublefingers seemed offended because Julius called her weak and she snapped at him
"Sea Urchin Stinger!" Miss Doublefingers launched again towards Julius. She turned her hair into a ball of spikes and she charged at Julius.
However, coated his right foot with his darkness power and stopped her attack with his foot which made her hair turned back into normal and left her shocked.
"H-How?" Miss Doublefingers muttered in disbelief.
"Don't forget about me!" Suddenly, Miss Valentine shouted and she flew towards Julius. "I ate Kilo-Kilo no Mi and it allows me to change my weight! I can go from weighing 1 kilogram, light enough to float on the wind to 10,000 kilogram, and crush you! So-"
"Kurouzu!" Julius cut off her words and pulled her into his arm.
Miss Valentine suddenly being pulled and as Julius hand touched her, she felt that all her powers gone. "W-what happen to me?" Miss Valentine shocked.
"You're my new slave now!" Julius smiled.
Julius activated his armament haki and punched Miss Valentine in her stomach and made some blood came out from her mouth and left her unconscious.
"One down." Julius smiled. He then turned his gaze at Miss Doublefingers and smiled. "Now the next one."
Hearing that, Miss Doublefingers jumped back and took a step back. She narrowed her eyes and looked at Julius sharply because she knew that Julius was strong and it was a big mistake for underestimate him.
"You can take down Miss Valentine so easily but it doesn't mean that she's gonna be your slave. You have to defeat the three of us in order to make us your slave!" Miss Doublefingers said.
"Then, show me what you got." Julius smirked.
Miss Doublefingers grifted her teeh in annoyance and once again she launched towards Julius. "STINGER FLAIL!" Miss Doublefingers sprouted spike along her enlarged arms and swang them and tried to hit Julius with her arms.
Julius just shook his head and coated his palm with his darkness power. He dodged the attack from Miss Doublefingers and raised his arm and punched her in the face and slammed her head to the ground which made Miss Doublefingers unconscious.
"Two down." Julius smirked. He then turned his gaze at Nico Robin and smiled at her. "Now, it's your turn."
But what he didn't expect, Robin just smiled and closed her eyes, and she raised both her hands and surrender. "I give up. I think, I can't defeat you. You're too strong for me."
"It's good then. Now the three of you are my slave and you need to obey me." Julius licked his lips.
"How about we make a new deal?" Robin asked.
"A new deal? What kind of deal that you're offering now?" Julius asked.
"You told me you were out of the Straw Hat Pirates and I'm sure you didn't have a crew or a ship. What if I give you the ship and the crew?" Robin smiled.
Julius smiled at this and suddenly he laughed. "Hahahahah you're really good at making deal. Then I'll gladly accept your offer. However…" Julius turned his gaze at Miss Doublefingers who laid on the ground. "I will take her with me and I want you to come with me and take me to your boss, Crocodile."
"I have no problem with Miss Doublefingers but I'm sorry I'm afraid that I can't come with you. However.." Robin threw a compass to Julius. "That's the eternal pose of Arabasta. That compass will lead you to Arabasta and you can meet my boss there."
Julius took the eternal pose and smiled. He then walked towards Miss Doublefingers and picked up Miss Doublefingers who was unconscious. "I just need a ship. For the crew, let me find it myself." Julius said.
"It's settled then. Now, follow me Juliano-San, I will take you to the port and there a lot of ship that you can choose there." Robin smiled. "Oh one again, what are you goin to do with that woman?" Robin pointed Miss Valentine.
"Nah, you can take her. I'm not interested on her." Julius said.

Later
Robin has arrived at the port of Whiskey Peak along with Julius who carried Miss Doublefingers on his shoulder. Arriving at the port, Julius saw several ships large enough that he could sail on the Grandline.
"You owe all of these ships?" Julius asked.
"I do. All these ships belong to Baroque works. So please Juliano-San, choose one of these ships. You don't have to pay for it." Robin said.
Julius nodded his head and he pointed to the ship on the far left. A large purple ship and typical of the pirate with a crococile figurehead located forward along with Baroque Works jolly roger painted on the sail of the ship. "I'll take that one."
"Okay Juliano-San. Just for you information, there are a a lot of stuff inside that ship like a gun, weapons, grenade, cannons, and a several sea stone handcuffs." Robin said.
"Sea stone handcuffs? How can you have that thing?" Julius asked.
"We are the organization that works under the Shicibukai. The marines supplied us a lot of weapons and in return, we must submit to them and lose our freedom as pirates." Robin said.
"Losing freedom you said? You are free enough to rule a country." Julius said.
"Fufufufu. However Juliano-San, if I may ask, why do you want to meet my boss?" Robin asked.
"To discuss some business. Actually the person I want to meet is Donquixote Doflamingo but, considering Doflamingo and the boss are both Shcibukai, maybe he can tell me where Doflamingo is." Julius answered.
"Donquixote Doflamingo, he's quite popular in business world especially, illegal business like human auction." Robin said.
"Yeah, that's why I want to meet him." Julius said.
"Juliano-San, may I ask some question again?" Robin asked.
"Just ask." Julius smiled.
"Do you know something about your name? Juliano D, Julius, you have D in the middle of your name. I'm always curious what the meaning of that." Robin said.
Julius smiled and he took a cigarrete form his pocket and lit it up. "D huh? Since you're an archaeologist you must be curious about something like that. How many poneglyphs have read?"
"Not too much. I have read some poneglyphs but I never find out about that even a hint about that." Robin said.
"Then keep searching. Everything you are looking for is in that ancient stone and you have the ability to read it. The more you find the stone, the more information you will get about the dark history of this world. Same thing with Ohara, the world government destroyed my hometown because we all know too much." Julius smiled.
Hearing that, Robin widened her eyes and surprised. In fact, not only her, someone who has a horrified past because of the world government and because of her vast knowledge, but there is someone who has the same fate as her and now that person is standing in front of her.
"You have no idea how important your role is in this world. This world really needs your knowledge but at the same time, this world doesn't want you to live too long because they see you as a threat. Because, the only way to get to One Piece is you, Nico Robin." Julius said.
"W-W-What!?" Robin stuttered and shocked.
"Actually, I want you to become my crew however this not the right time. Having you in my crew is a big risk. Many people are after you and want to use your knowledge for their benefit, especially for those who want to get One Piece. I must have a strong crew to protect you because your enemy is the world itself." Julius said.
"And one them is you, right?" Robin asked coldly.
"I'd be lying if I said no. But the point is not that because I don't want to take advantage of you but I want to cooperate with you. We both have big dreams and humans are not creatures who can do everything on their own and no human is destined to live alone. I don't believe in the concept that there are two categories of people, some are good and some are bad. Humans are special beings who have goals and dreams and they will do everything to achieve those goals. They kill in the name of goodness, they shed blood in the name of justice, and all that they do for their benefit." Julius said.
Robin shocked at this and widened her eyes once again. A few words from Julius reminded her of her old friend who said that no human is destined to live alone. Robin was impressed by Julius' words because she also realized that Julius was not a naive person and Julius had a very unique mind and Julius' way of thinking was not like other people. The longer she talked with Julius, the more curious she became about Julius.
"Let me tell you something interesting. If you want to make your dreams come true, you better work for people who have the initials D in their names. Because they are the only ones destined to change this world. Take it well." Julius said.
After that, Julius turned around and walked towards the ship and left Robin who seemed still shocked and surprised.

Later
After his conversation with Nico Robin, Julius decided to go by ship gift from Robin and now he is heading to Arabasta. Julius thanked Robin for giving him the Eternal Pose Arabasta and all he needs to do is follow the needle in the Eternal Pose to get to Arabasta.
However, Since there is still a long way to go to Arabasta, Julius decides to play with Miss Doublefingers. He had handcuffed Miss Doublefingers with sea stone handcuffs so that she could not release her devil fruit powers, and also tied her legs with chains and put a chain collar around her neck and made her like a pet.
Seeing Miss Doublefingers who was still unconscious, Julius brought a bucket of water and splashed Miss Doublefingers.
"UAAAAH!" Miss Doublefingers woke up in shock and felt that her whole body was soaking wet. She looked at her own body and she was surprised when she found that she was not wearing any clothes and she was completely naked. She was even more surprised when she found herself shackled by chains and his hands were cuffed by sea stones, making her feel weak and unable to bring out his strength.
"Surprise?"
Miss Doublefingers lifted up her face and widened her eyes and she saw Julius in front of her. "Y-You…."
"You still remember about the agreement, don't you?" Julius smirked.
Miss Doublefingers just lowered her head and she knew that there's nothing that she can do right now. "Do whatever you want."
Julius smiled and nodded his head. "Good slave."

Hello guys I thought I never greeted you guys because I was confused about what to say to you hahahah. However, I ventured to speak to you and this is the time.

From Palyeus : Will he break into Impel?
Answer : I think I think Julius knows about Impel Down because it is the strongest prison in the world but I'm not sure if he can break through Impel Down considering he is alone and he still doesn't have a crew.
From ramsesjames05 : I'm very curious about the name of the pirate Julius and all his crew members later which I think will be very strong!
Answer : Wow! Good question! Unfortunately, Julius maybe hasn't thought about it yet but maybe he will think about it. And this is a little leak of the story for the future, that the character who will be Julius' crew will come from another anime and maybe there won't be a one piece character that will be Julius' crew.
