Disclaimer: I don't own Rent a Girlfriend, or any of its characters...

Much to Chizuru's surprise, Motohiro didn't make any attempt to lay any hands on her again, although that was largely in part to her client wasting himself with countless shots at the bar while shamelessly flirting with other girls.

Meanwhile, Chizuru sat at a table not far from the guy, secretly sending disgusted glances at Motohiro while pretending to use her phone. She felt bad for whoever was going to be this guy's actual girlfriend in the future after seeing his shameless actions today. He was the type of guy who wouldn't think twice about hitting on another girl if she was prettier than the one he was with.

Of course, Chizuru didn't show any of this and simply put on a smile to create the illusion that she felt unbothered with his actions. She was still acting as a rental girlfriend, and she shouldn't show any of her personal feelings while she was working.

It doesn't matter, anyway. She only had two minutes left before this session will finally end, then she can quickly go home, rest, and forget this ever happened. She got paid for her services, and she acted as a girlfriend in return.

That's what mattered to Chizuru the most.

The girl wasted the next two minutes surfing the net on her phone while constantly checking the clock. The moment it hit 9:00 PM, Chizuru let out a deep sigh out of relief before she quickly gathered her things. Now she just had to officially inform Motohiro that their session was over and she can finally leave.

She wanted to go home immediately since this place was making her uncomfortable for some reason, possibly because of the reason that most, if not all the people around here were so much older than her and Chizuru felt out of place. She had never been to a nightclub before but for the sake of her client, she had to go here.

However, before she could stand up and leave, she found her path blocked by Motohiro, who was looking down at her with a drunken-looking smile.

"You didn't think I forgot about you already, did you? I paid you to come with me for 6 hours and I know our time together ends right now," he said and Chizuru almost wanted to puke because of the scent of alcohol coming from his mouth. This guy was definitely drunk and it just made her want to leave this place even more.

"You're right, and because your time has ran out, I have no reason to stay here any longer," she said as she stood up, trying to maintain her professionalism until the end. "Thank you, by the way. I had a great time and it was fun."

Chizuru bowed her head slightly and walked away, before she was stopped by Motohiro's voice.

"Woah, woah, woah, there's no need to go home all by yourself. How 'bout I go with you to make sure you're safe? I'm sure lots of dangerous guys lurk around at this time of night~"

Oh, dear… she saw this coming the moment he went to the bar for a drink, which is why she wasn't really surprised with his current attitude. Since she wasn't his rental girlfriend though, she didn't want to be here any longer, especially with this guy around.

Oh, and she'll be reporting this to the higher-ups of her agency because that way, he'll never be able to rent another girlfriend again even if he tries to.

"That won't be necessary. I can find my way home on my own."

"Come on, what's the big deal? We've already spent time together, right? Are you still feeling uncomfortable around me?"

"Motohiro-san, you paid me to be your girlfriend for six hours, and it has already ended. Unless you wish to extend our session, I have no business being here any longer."

With that, she tried to leave once again but was then stopped in her place when Motohiro grabbed her wrist, preventing her from going anywhere. Out of instinct, Chizuru quickly tried to break free from his grip but he didn't let her go.

"Hey, don't leave yet! I still want to spend time with you!" he exclaimed, his voice showing a hint of desperation before he sent her a smile. "Just wait here and I'll pay up my tab. Then we can go home together, alright?"

"Let go of me now, Motohiro-san. You don't want to do this," she warned, her voice becoming cold as her frustrations with this boy were starting to come up.

Motohiro's face twisted into an angry look, tightening his grip on her wrist even more. "I'm going with you, no matter what. What's wrong with that?! I thought you were my girlfriend?"

Meanwhile, while this was happening, Kazuya was stretching out his limbs after standing in place for several hours, because it was finally his break time. Heh, it was a damn good thing that he started working out before he got this job because now, he can enjoy the results he got from his training. He didn't feel any pain from his legs, just that they were feeling a bit stiff after standing in one place for several hours.

"Alright, time to go buy something to eat," Kazuya mused to himself happily.

In truth, he could just hang out at the bar and if he was lucky, he could take a quick nap there. However, he didn't want to get involved with the current drinking game happening there at the moment, so the safest option is to simply go to a random store, buy something then eat it there.

The young man was about to head towards the main entrance when he heard a couple of voices at the bar, both of which could be heard everyone else's. He turned his head towards that area to see what it was about.

"S-Stop fighting…!"

"Let…go…!"

The girl he saw earlier seemed to be struggling to get away from another guy, who prevented her from moving by grasping her wrist. It became a tug of war between them for a few minutes until Chizuru had enough and raised her foot, before she kicked the boy away with all her strength, causing him to finally let go before stumbling to the floor.

"She's gotten herself into a fight…?" he thought, thinking of how this all came to be until he realized what might happen next.

Motohiro had gotten up from the floor, and he looked absolutely pissed. He sent a glare towards Chizuru, who looked terrified and was starting to back away after realizing what she just did.

His eyes widened in alarm before putting on his most serious look.

"Oh, hell no. Not on my watch!"

Motohiro clenched his fists tightly before pointing a finger towards the rental girlfriend in an accusing manner, taking slow but intimidating steps towards her. With each step he took, the girl instinctively moved back as everyone else who was in the bar turned their heads towards them.

"You bitch! I was just trying to be nice and this is what you do to me?!"

Chizuru had no idea what she should do right now. She had let her anger take over her entire body and caused her to kick him in the chest, which she immediately regretted afterwards. She didn't want to cause a scene in this place, but now she did and for what seemed like the first time in years, the girl felt vulnerable.

The top rookie of the rental girlfriend agency, who can keep herself composed and show a smile in almost any situation, felt helpless at the moment.

Motohiro raised his fist and cocked it back as he drew closer to the girl, while Chizuru fell on her butt and shut her eyes tightly out of fear.

"I'm going to—!"

It never came.

Chizuru continued to close her eyes, waiting for the punch to hit her but she never felt it. Confused, she slowly opened her eyes to see what was going on, and her eyes widened to see that someone held Motohiro's wrist back, preventing it from reaching her.

"Hey, jackass."

After seeing someone grab his wrist, Motohiro turned to look behind him where he saw a teenage boy wearing sunglasses and a black shirt like all the other guards around the club. He had a serious look on his face even without seeing his eyes, and it seemed like he wasn't in the mood for any games.

"What do you think you're doing?" Kazuya asked seriously as he tightened his grip on Motohiro's wrist, just like what he did to Chizuru. "The girl wanted you to leave her alone."

"Don't get in my way, pal. This is between me and this tramp," Motohiro growled back without fear, too buried in his emotions to think about his actions.

Kazuya's eyes narrowed.

"Is that so? Well, you can take it outside!"

Chizuru's eyes widened upon seeing Kazuya plant his knee into Motohiro's stomach before driving his elbow to the back of his neck, causing her former client to fall to the floor in pain. At the same time, two other guards approached Kazuya before he sent a nod towards them.

"Get him out of here," the younger guard spoke in a serious tone.

With that, his two fellow bouncers quickly grabbed Motohiro by his shoulders and forced him up to his feet, before taking him away. As soon as he was gone, Chizuru let out the deep breath she was holdimg before turning her head towards the person who saved her. She saw him offering his hand for her to take.

"Are you okay?" he asked in concern while maintaining serious demeanor.

"Y-Yeah…" she breathed, accepting the help as she was pulled up to her feet.

"What did that guy do to you?"

Chizuru opened her mouth to say something before she stopped herself, thinking of what she should say. Of course, she didn't want to mention anything about being a rental girlfriend, but she should tell him her problem nonetheless.

"I was just trying to get home, but he didn't want to leave me alone."

The girl noticed that many of the people at the bar were continuing stare, causing her to hang her head, hiding her face from everyone else.

That's right, she still felt uncomfortable in this place and she was already being filled with the urge to just run out before anything else happens.

Kazuya stared at her for a few moments and saw it again. The girl looked very uncomfortable while she was here and it was even more evident since she was hiding her face from not only him, but everyone else too. It made him confused even more as to why was she in this place, if she knew to herself that she wouldn't like it here.

Either way, she needed to get out of here, pronto.

"Come with me, then."

Kazuya grabbed her wrist and began to lead her away from the bar and towards the hallway leading to the main entrance, away from everyone's eyes.

"Eh…?"

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm part of the security here, so come on. You want to go home, right?" he asked as he removed his sunglasses and turned towards Chizuru, revealing who he was to the girl.

Chizuru gasped softly at seeing him again, her eyes widening in shock. The boy whom she saw earlier worked here? He was the one who helped her?

It was because of her current state that she couldn't respond properly, simply letting Kazuya pull her along with him. Unlike Motohiro, he only grabbed her wrist softly, almost as if she was a delicate flower that would wilt at the slightest touch.

She kept her gaze locked towards him while he was unaware of it, while thinking deeply to herself.

What were the chances that she would see him again, more so in this kind of place? Chizuru couldn't even remember where she saw him before, so she felt a bit awkward at the moment, needing to be saved by someone whom she knew and didn't know at the same time… technically.

Not only that, she wanted to ask him some questions, with the most prominent one being why he was here, although he already answered that one. Chizuru also wondered if he somehow knew that she was here, because it seemed to be too much of a coincidence that the person whom she came across with earlier ended up in the same place as her!

...

...

...

Nah, that would be creepy and he didn't seem like a stalker. Plus, the guy just saved her from a drunk guy, she couldn't think of him in that way.

Chizuru was too focused in her thoughts that she didn't notice they had stopped in front of a short, middle-aged man with grey hair and a mustache who seemed to be confused with what was happening.

"Kazuya-boy, what exactly happened here? I saw two people fighting in the security cameras," he asked with a serious look on his face.

"James, I know I said that I'm going to work overtime tonight, but I can't," Kazuya explained while bowing his head. "I'm going to take this girl home to make sure she's safe. Some dumbass tried to hit on her when she didn't want to, so we threw him out. Please let me go home early so I can help her get home."

His words appeared to be enough to snap Chizuru out of her thoughts, as her eyes grew wide in surprise when she heard what he said. She quickly raised her hands and waved them frantically in response, looking terribly flustered that she wasn't paying attention until now.

"N-No, you don't have to…! I can get home by myself!"

Kazuya turned towards her with a serious look before shaking his head, which caused her to tilt her head curiously.

"No, you can't. I've been keeping an eye on you since you went inside the club earlier and I can tell you were feeling uncomfortable while you were there. Quite frankly, I'm wondering why you even went here in the first place if you didn't like it here."

The embarrassed look on her face became worse, as if she had been caught red-handed. Yeah, she didn't like it here in this place, but the only reason she was even here was because of her client bringing her here!

Chizuru remained silent, not wanting to say anything about her being a rental girlfriend and being taken here against her personal wishes. Fortunately for her, Kazuya didn't seem to care about her reasons and simply shrugged after a few moments.

"Whatever. It's not my problem why you thought of going here. But I'm taking you home, and that's final."

He told her once more with a serious tone and surprisingly, Chizuru only found herself nodding in agreement, which was vastly different compared to her earlier reaction when Motohiro tried to hit on her!

Chizuru simply couldn't find it in herself to insist that she didn't need help anymore, not when the guy with her nearly caught her in the act and that she wasn't here because she wanted to. She chose to remain silent as a result, because it would keep her alias safe for now. At the very least, she could trust Kazuya since he was a guard here and he did help her with Motohiro…

In the end, all she could do in response was nod slowly.

Seeing her answer, Kazuya turned back to face his boss before bowing his head once again.

"James, I'm really sorry about this. I swear I'll make it up to you tomorrow—"

"Don't worry about it, Kazuya-boy. I get what's going on here," James cut him off by raising his hand, before acknowledging the boy's words with a nod. "You can take the rest of the night off, but just make sure the little miss here gets home safe, alright? Wouldn't want another incident to happen to her now, would we? Have a good night, kiddies!"

After sending a little smirk towards the two teenagers, James waved his hand in a friendly manner before heading back to his office.

"Thank you, James! I'll make it up to you tomorrow, I promise!" Kazuya exclaimed, a huge smile making its way to his face after hearing those words from his boss.

Ah, he was so glad that James was very understanding compared to other businessmen out there…

Kazuya turned his head back to look at the girl. "Come on, let's keep going. I'll give you a ride home."

"Yeah…" Chizuru muttered quietly, looking alarmed for some reason.

It seemed like the girl won't be going home the way she wanted to, but she couldn't exactly say that she didn't like this outcome.

And they finally meet again, this time for good! Well done Kazuya, you established yourself as a badass in her eyes. Now, she'll fall for you easier! What's that, everyone? Rental girlfriends aren't allowed to go to nightclubs? Well, let's just say that rule hasn't been made yet here because I can do whatever I want! Muahahahaha! Now Kazuya has to take her home, but will it go well?
