AN: Welcome to the 11th chapter, I won't waste any time with these Author Notes.

A Reminder I do not own Pokemon, they belong to their respectful owners.

Another note, this chapter may be hectic and mention a lot of torture, mind breaking, poisoning, gore, death etc. You've been warned before but now is the time I actually tell you guys to read at your own risk.

Let us begin!

-Start-

Quite a ways from Sinnoh, lies the region of Kanto. It was more of the laidback regions with very few interesting things about it. The Champion was a mystery and was currently missing from the reports of Lance, the Johto and the current usurper champion of Kanto. It was not known why the Champion suddenly vanished, but it led to many debates that the champ is currently dead. It's been many years after all.

However Kanto was beginning to see a huge change, and by change, the flow of life here has been rapidly draining. None of the officers or anyone in general know of the ordeal, there's been a huge lack of evidence. People and Pokemon were both missing, in small numbers right now. The only thing ominous about this, was that only trainers were missing. And their parents have been in a riot.

"Heh, Looks like Giovanni is beginning to get a bit shaken now." A man with hair the color of dark violet chuckled, his tone laced with evil intent. His hair was in a mohawk style with the center being a spiky mess. His clothing consisted of simple black slacks, arm bracers the color of the night sky and black boots.

"What will you do now Boss Python?"

Python was a member of the 8 Generals Of Purity that worked for Team Saigai. A rather unknown group to the public eye, thanks to working in the shadows for as long as they were formed. Python was one of the first members of the group, and instantly shot up the ranks to where he was standing now.

Python was a man of little empathy, he completely enjoyed watching his opponents cower in fear as they're helpless in defeating him, and should they lose, he'll poison them without a second thought. The weak didn't have any right to exist, at least in the eyes of Python. Before Python joined the Saigai however, he was a scientist studying many types of poisons that could aid humans in the future.

However, Python was accused of wrongfully poisoning one of his colleagues and lost everything, his friends, family. You name it. You would think he would've been locked up still, however someone came and helped him escape his life behind bars.

Orochi Alexander.

At first Python wasn't sure what to make of the older lady, but he instantly knew a strong Seviper when he saw one, and Orochi was no different. Python was promised a new life, should he work for her, he was skeptical of course so Orochi made a bargain to him. In exchange for his knowledge in poisoning, she'll grant him the necessary power to vent all his frustrations on everyone who wronged him, who betrayed him.

Of course, any human would lunge, practically go to the depths of hell for the chance of power. The power of revenge is a strong force many people underlook. If you have immense hatred for something, why not pursue it? That was what drove Python to his madness.

And he enjoyed it.

Why help the people when you can utterly destroy them? Break them? The human mind is so easy to shatter, just a few hours and one person will instantly break and fall into despair. So Python devised a poison potent enough to torture the mind then just within an hour, they'll completely die.

How did he test this?

Well on confident trainers who thought they could challenge him! He loved breaking them, seeing their drool flow from the top of their lips as they plunge into the depths of despair and agony, shortly after, they start to bleed from their pores, and eventually they perish from this world.

"Python, we have a message from Orochi." Another member of his group entered.

"Haha! Tell me the news, I'm waiting for my next mission." Python quickly moved from his chair, his base of operations was stationed in a place called Seafoam Island.

"She'd like us to challenge Lance, the champion of Johto."

Python blinked, not believing the news to be real, before a mad grin formed at the same moment. The champions were quite strong and resilient, that made them worth breaking, humiliating a champion was giving Python the chills, a wave of pure madness flowed over him, as his eyes turned gold with excitement.

The careless member of Python's group felt something pierce his gut, with the man looking down, he saw a sharp tail covered in his blood, however before he could react, his head was bit down on by the jaws of a snake, a very large one.

"Oh, Seviper, I forgot to feed you today, I can only imagine how excited you must feel, right?" Python watched the sight before him, as his former team member was eaten whole by the Seviper. It had two gnarly looking red fangs that promised death and a tail as sharp as the strongest of swords, great for piercing its prey.

The Seviper only hissed in ecstasy as it finished devouring its food. Looking at its trainer and giving a nod, Seviper was ready for the battle to come ahead.

"Great, let's get going."

"It seems you have gotten stronger, Clair, that's amazing."

"W-Why are you complimenting me all of a sudden?" The one named Clair stammered her response in surprise.

Clair was a young adult, about the age of 19, having beautiful pale skin, blue eyes and matching blue hair, tied into a ponytail. Two large bangs framed her face point outwards. She's currently wearing a high-neck dark blue suit that reaches to her thighs and with shoulder pads that have yellow colored circles and to end it, a cape with the interior being red.

"Well, you did always nag me about not giving you the proper respect, I feel you earned it this time around." Lance answered truthfully. He never did give Clair much credit.

"Mhm, fine, I'll accept it this time!" Clair dismissed with a large huff, getting Lance to chuckle, before he felt something off in the air.

"Clair, whatever happens, do know that I care about you a lot, not as a cousin, but as my younger sister. I feel something amiss in the air, like a calling of unnatural forces."

Clair didn't respond as she also felt the bad feeling in the air as well, it was truthfully scary and she felt a bit of fear as well.

"You're strong...I doubt whatever happens, you'll pull through."

"UMBRA! ARE YOU HERE!"

A scuffle noise was made as the loud voice echoed throughout the new location. In the region of Johto lies the second member of the mysterious Saigai, Umbra. Her facility was located in the outskirts near Blackthorn City. It was a small facility capable of housing about 20 or so inhabitants.

"I'm in my office, come in...quietly." Her office door opened slowly, a lady in her mid thirties entered, she looked like the clumsy type, sporting big round glasses that kept her eyes from sight and neck length dark green hair and a scientist attire.

"What is it you need, Doc?"

"Lady Umbra, i have received word from Mistress Orochi that Python will be coming to Johto to eradicate Lance." The Doctor spoke, her lips quivering in fright. The look on Umbra's face morphed into a sly grin. The cards in Umbra's hands fell.

"I see, so Big Sister is getting ready to surface from the shadows, I've been waiting for a long time." Umbra's blond hair swayed as she got off from her chair. Behind her was a lever that she pulled.

The rumbling caused the Doctor to fidget nervously, watching the wall completely rise to reveal a new room that wasn't meant to be seen.

"Doctor Jackie, I'd like to thank you for enhancing this facility, my gadgets and everything. But now that Big Sister is moving to the next phase, it's time to deploy."

Umbra was only the age of 20, however her tactics, her mind and her behavior was that of a veteran, one who witnessed a lot of death in their time and overcame it the best they could.

Umbra before joining The Saigai was like any other kid, a trainer, one who had dreams. Her's wasn't like most female trainers who eventually drift off to other occupations, she wanted to be the strongest trainer in the world, and to eventually meet Ho-Oh. Meeting Ho-Oh was said to be a blessing and whoever it's feather graces can be granted whatever wish they want.

However, All things don't come true.

Umbra's parents died of a sickness, an incurable disease; many efforts were put into healing them, but nothing worked. So Umbra did what she felt was right and pleaded to the heavens, hoping something heard, Arceus? Ho-Oh? Nothing happened, Umbra sat there on that rainy day as her world crumbled, tumbling down like a rock slide.

That was when her hatred for the Legendary Pokemon began, she'd kill them all. They were sacred beasts, having unparalleled amounts of power, supposedly they structured this world, yet couldn't help a few dying people? She wouldn't accept that at all! She'll find them, one by one, and destroy them.

Along the way, Umbra encountered Orochi, who mysteriously asked her what the thing she hated most about the world. And to no surprise, it was the Legendary Pokemon. This caused Orochi to laugh at her proclamation to slaughter every Legendary Pokemon. To Umbra, Orochi seemed innocent but she had her dark and dangerous fangs concealed.

And she was correct.

Orochi asked Umbra to join her in destroying this world, the world that couldn't save her parents, the world where her hatred was directed to, Orochi didn't try to persuade at all! No incentives, just a simple yes or no question.

Umbra found Orochi unique and decided to follow her, it's been like this for the past four years.

And now, it was time to set all their hard work to motion.

"How do I look?" Umbra came out from her hidden room, only to see Doctor Jackie shivering like a fool without their coat on a winter day.

"You look...amazing, Lady Umbra, I'll go prepare the necessary enhancements for you and the others!" Umbra's head moved to the side, looking into the mirror.

Umbra wore a sleeveless black strapped dress and white heels, the odd thing about her dress was the gold rings decorating the dress.

Umbra made her way to the front of the facility, as she did, she pocketed her Pokeballs into her dress. She was going to do her job now, which was to find the Legendary Beasts, Suicune, Entei and Raikou. Her sources state they'll all be in Johto in about a week, thanks to the Legendary Orochi keeps at her side.

Umbra made it to a large auditorium, looking around as all the members of her group were present.

"Alright ladies, we'll be starting Project RES. We'll split into three groups, Raikou will be where the most thunderstorms will be at, and looking from reports, in Goldenrod City. For Entei, he's a bit predictable, we head to the Burning Tower in Ecruteak City, and Suicune will be the hardest, it's the most active and agile of the three, we'll deal with that another time."

"YES MADAM!"

Umbra watched as her unit all saluted to her, her crystal clear blue eyes shined, being under the spotlight reflected off her eyes, giving the look of a descending goddess.

"Dear me, Orochi. You never come out to Hoenn."

"Hmm, I do love Hoenn….a bit. It's unproblematic. I can see why you're so cheery, Marsha." Orochi was revealed to be a young looking lady, in her late twenties. Orochi had chocolate colored eyes that held a bit of mischief to them and her black hair was as beautiful as a starry night sky. Orochi wore a tracksuit, with the zipper being pulled down to reveal her cleavage. It was surprising since she didn't let off the tomboy type of aura. Her tracksuit was unique however, possessing a snake like design to it, the fabric was scaly and smooth.

"I see, I'm glad you feel that way." Marsha wore a simple maid outfit, while giving off a chirpy smile.

"So, Marsha. I'll cut to the chase."

"You're moving along, yes? I knew this would happen." Marsha knew Orochi like the back of her thumb, that was no surprise.

"Heh, sorry. But….i'd like for you to stay here."

Orochi gave a look of plead, which was unbefitting of her stature, considering she's about to unleash unparalleled calamity upon the world. However, this just showed Orochi still has some humanity left in her for her to feel sadness.

"Oh? Am I not one of your generals?" Marsha said, her tone a bit menacing, although that didn't phase Orochi.

"Correct, however I want you to stay who you are, remember what we agreed to?"

Marsha frowned, feeling a bit defeated now.

Marsha's story wasn't anything special. Marsha just wanted to live in peace, without conflict and constant animosity. Her dreams were something that Orochi truly admired, and her personality as well. Marsha seemed like a mother, which was probably the case but Orochi would never find that out.

"I see, you don't want me to be...corrupted, do anything that I wouldn't want to do."

Orochi nodded her head.

"Yeah, after I'm done with this world, who knows what'll happen. I just know, I won't exist anymore."

This was new to Marsha, the older lady looked at Orochi as if she was just hit with new information.

"What're you talking about?"

"Oh, I never did tell you. Asmodeus won't only devour this world, but he'll also feast on time itself. I made a deal with him, unsealing him if he took it upon himself to eradicate the Alexander family from existence. To do so, I'll have to draw out the Legendary Dialga."

"Are you saying…."

Orochi nodded again, this time with her eyes glowing gold, the aura the Alexander was exerting sent everything around her to their deaths, the leaves were decaying and the nearby Pokemon in the forest were collapsing one after the other.

"I'll have Asmodeus gain the power of time by consuming Dialga, then he'll travel through time before the very first Alexander existed and halt their evolution."

"But, what about your brother! Do you think he'd let you do that?" Marsha countered, trying to get Orochi waver in her plans.

"He's a fine young man, however he didn't exactly live a happy life either, I'm sure when we meet, he'll consider my plans to be...adequate."

Marsha felt a bit of hesitance in Orochi's voice, then from the trees a large serpentine-like creature appeared, however it appeared to have several heads resembling dragons, small horns decorated its snout reaching a few inches tall.

"You're…"

"I am Asmodeus, I've yet to reach my full height, however I've been steadily growing thanks to the agony and delicious despair in the air. Human emotions make great snacks. Now...I want something else. Legendary Pokemon, first I'll need the power over Water, Fire and Electricity."

Orochi and Marsha directed their attention over to Asmodeus, watching it's several heads speak in unison.

"I already ordered the issue, Asmodeus, Suicune, Entei and Raikou will be captured and brought to you immediately." Orochi's claim seemed to please the Legendary Hydra.

"Great, I look forward to achieving my new powers, soon, very soon. Arceus will no longer stand in my place as the creator, I WILL! AHA!"

Back in Sinnoh, Gedeon was currently relaxing out in a nearby park. With a glass of tea in his left and a book on his right, he was in bliss. He finished his battling for the day and of course, won. His opponent was straightforward and predictable and Gedeon easily overcame them.

Moving the mug slowly to his lips, Gedeon continued to watch many different people walk by with happy smiles on their faces, something he wished everyone would express. He knew Cyrus was a problem, one he feels is his responsibility. Whatever his grandfather taught Cyrus, it sure had….negative effects on the guy. He was 27 but looked older than that from his depression.

Then there was the problem in finding out exactly the location of Lear's kingdom. He didn't want to bother anyone with this though, he feels this is something he'll do on his own. He has at least a few more years before the events take place.

"Hey kid, I've been feeling a resonance with something."

"Really? How come I can't feel it?" Gedeon was thankful that the park was beginning to empty as night approached. He could speak out loud for the moment.

"It was like when I was training with Lugia, but this feels like on a different level. I've been blocking it out from you feeling it, in case it gives you after effects. "

Gedeon nodded as he closed his book, with a pat sound, he held the book, glossing over the cover. That being a man looking up into the sky with a confident look to his eyes.

"I see, although I doubt such effects would harm me, but I have been feeling a killer intent lately, I have no idea from whom, but it's directed towards me."

"You're always on someone's hit list, first Almina's younger sister, now however it is now."

Gedeon gave a light scoff before finishing his tea. Sinnoh at night was much colder, and it didn't help much that he wasn't wearing a jacket or coat. However the young adult was quite used to the frigid temperatures of the region.

"Heh, let's do some investigating."

"Where will we check?"

"The stadium….i know you felt it too."

Susanoo said nothing but gave a light humming tune, which meant that it was a yes.

The Battle Stadium was secluded right now, as everyone went home or to their hotel rooms for the night, which was the ideal place to handle shady business. Gedeon knew this all too well, the young adult stood on the highest building, staring down at the whole stadium from his view. He wore a black suit with a black cape, with the interior being white. His suit had a full moon symbol on the center of his chest. On the left side of his waist were a pair of bolas and on his right his pokeballs. To end it, he wore a black oni mask, with the eyes sockets being red giving him a demonic look.

Gedeon flipped his cowl-like cape covering his hair, the horns on his mask were placed to where the horns went through the hood to prevent it from falling back, perfect for keeping his identity.

"This feels….amazing."

The young adult was immersed in the moment, completely falling into a blissful moment of remembrance. It's been a long time since Gedeon felt like this, the last time was back during his allegiance to Team Plasma. But that was in the past now.

Gedeon's face looked down towards the stadium, his mask wasn't just for show thankfully, the eyes were made with enhanced vision, it was practically a nanotech mask made in Kalos, costed him a fortune for it since the one who made was a billionaire by the name of Lysandre. Gedeon felt some evil intent from the man during his brief time in Kalos, but he didn't think much of it.

"Tobias, I got word that Python and Umbra have begun to move on to the next phase."

Tobias was with Arthur near the Stadium, no one was there at the time and no one would dare fight them. Tobias was the strongest member of the organization and had the wits to prove it. Arthur was second, his utility over Steel Type pokemon were second to none, if possible, he'd be able to defeat Steven Stone.

"I see, so that means we're going to sacrifice the Legendary Pokemon to that snake." Tobias spoke with hate in his voice. Asmodeus was evil incarnate, even worse is that he has the power to gain the power of whoever he eats.

"Arthur, we'll defeat Gedeon in the finals tomorrow and completely destroy him, he needs to die."

"I agree, he is the enemy, and all enemies must die."

"There you guys are, sorry for being late."

Tobias and Arthur halted their conversation and looked towards the new source, that being a shock to them both at who it was.

Cyrus.

"You're...you're supposed to be dead! I thought Team Galactic was being led by Saturn now." Tobias' body was shaking ever so slightly, it was a fact that Cyrus was one of the most infamous leaders of an evil organization.

Arthur didn't feel any such things, only remaining stoic. Arthur would never falter in the face of anyone.

"I'm here now, so I must be alive, right? Anyway….do you have the samples." Cyrus quickly moved on, not wanting to waste any time here.

"I do, but first, are you sure you weren't followed?"

"Hmph, even if I were, I'm sure you and Darkrai would kill anyone who saw."

Tobias clicked his teeth in frustration at how careless the man before him was. If it was one thing Tobias hated, it was delivering samples.

"Fine, here." Tobias asked Arthur to bring up the steel covered briefcase. Cyrus looked on curiously at how the material used to hide the samples were, that wasn't just some normal steel you'd find anywhere, but something of Aggron's stature.

'So, you've resorted to killing Pokemon…...how pathetic, although I'm not one to speak.' Cyrus thought he was a bit of a hypocrite, for some reason he was beginning to feel...empathy for the Pokemon that was used to craft such a briefcase.

"Do remember Cyrus, even the likes of you will probably have a hard time handling the genes of that." Tobias warned, with the ending laced with distaste.

"Who exactly are you referring to?"

"It's name is Asmodeus, I'm sure you'd be able to find something" Tobias told him bluntly. Cyrus didn't feel any deceit so he simply nodded and walked away.

"So, that was Cyrus. He looks more chilling in person." Arthur finally managed to speak.

"Yes, that man can be quite crafty and can be as sly as a Ninetales, I'd suggest keeping away from him." Tobias alerted Arthur, who said nothing.

"So, Cyrus is here, meaning the other three are too." Gedeon was currently perched at his location high up from prying eyes, he wanted to stop the exchange but he knew Cyrus would relay any information he learns to him. What really is bugging Gedeon, was the fact Tobias and Arthur wanted to kill him.

Gedeon was easily able to narrow it down and knew Tobias and Arthur worked for Team Saigai, that was the only thing he can come up with right now, even more so, it's possible one of the two was responsible for the recent killings.

"We'll need to be prepared for the Battle Royale Tomorrow, kid. Who are we going to use?"

"I'll keep Sobek out of the match tomorrow. So I'll go with Seltas. I'm pretty sure he's itching to fight against those bastards." Gedeon was correct as he felt the Pokeball that contained Ryouga shake. He couldn't help but smirk a bit.

"Understandable, let's win it tomorrow."

"Yeah."

The morning sun has risen, signaling the 4th day of the tournament, this will decide who gets to move on to the final 8. Gedeon was sure that he'll move on, given he's racked up so many points, as well as Jack.

And to Gedeon's surprise, someone that went by the name of Sun managed to snag quite a few points, given he joined late. He only ever beat his opponents with his Infernape, but his Infernape was tough looking. It's fur was wild and looked ragged from countless fights and it's left eye had a slash mark, having it closed shut permanently.

It was unsettling to begin with, but it looked like Sun was a person who only wanted to face strong people. Gedeon was sure he was one of those people.

Gedeon was currently working out a battle strategy for his next battle. He knew Tobias and Arthur were gonna be in the match, but he wasn't sure if they were gonna target him, which might just be the case.

"Hey man! Are you hyped for your next fight!"

"Oh! Jack, it's you. Not really…"

"Whaaaat! Why?"

"Two of my opponents are gonna try and take me out, and by that. I mean kill me." Gedeon voiced bluntly, getting Jack to practically flip on his ass.

"I would ask if you're joking, but you never make jokes, so I know this is serious. "

Gedeon nodded sharply, getting Jack to snicker.

"Shouldn't we try and stop the match? I mean what if you get hurt."

Jack voiced his opinion in worry, which was met with a negative head shake from Gedeon.

"Trust me, I've dealt with quite a few deadly encounters, my old mentor taught me everything about playing it sneaky, and her teachings never let me down, she's the reason I actually colored some of my hair green. Maybe I'll introduce you to her."

Jack couldn't comprehend why Gedeon was so confident about everything, he could literally die at any time.

"Alright, fine, Who are the two trying to kill you?"

"Their names are Tobias and Arthur, if i had to guess, Arthur is from Kalos from his accent."

"And your other opponent is a trainer named Charly, he uses Empoleon." Jack brought up a device that showed Charly' records.

"Interesting, he's battled against the Elite 4 but fell short at Flint, despite having the type advantage." Gedeon knew Charly wouldn't be too much trouble for him, but still, managing to battle Flint was still quite impressive.

"Flint is a pretty rad dude, anyway, get going to your match."

Gedeon nodded and waved Jack off, with the latter giving him good luck. Gedeon knew the battle today was gonna be hell and he was ready for it.

"ALRIGHT FOLKS! WELCOME TO THE DAY OF THE BATTLE ROYALE! THIS MATCH WILL BE QUITE A SHOW, EVEN I CAN FEEL THE TENSION IN THE AIR!" The loud and rambunctious announcer yelled through his mic.

Just then, Tobias was on one corner of the stadium, Arthur on another corner, and Charly on Arthur's left. Gedeon was on his respective corner with a sheepish expression on his face. The field was now different as well, it was a marsh like plain now, like a swamp.

Without much further delay, the announcer asked everyone to send out their pokemon, and to Gedeon's visible shock, Tobias sent out Darkai, which caused him to be filled with some anger, that his eyes shined gold. Arthur sent out an Aegislash, a Kalos native pokemon that was literally a Sword given sentience, which was sheathed into it's shield. And on the money, Charly sent Empoleon into the battle.

Gedeon, just as planned, summoned Seltas, his Flygon. And it looked ready to battle.

'Let's win this, I gotta get this over with. '

"Lady Umbra."

"Yes?" Umbra peered to the left to see one her members call to her.

"I believe we found the exact coordinates for Raikou. Shall we proceed?" Umbra gave a large grin, showing off her teeth.

"Absolutely, I will fight it. Just point me to where it is located." With a nod, the informant left, giving Umbra the details.

"Raikou, the beast of thunderstorms. I wonder how strong you are. Or will you prove to be a disappointment?" Umbra walked away from her position, heading to where the Legendary Beast is located.

Near Goldenrod City, heavy storms raged about, striking the city like a tidal wave. It wasn't unexpected however the citizens weren't prepared for how devastating it was. And it didn't help that a group of females wearing what looked like battle suits entered the city.

Umbra was quite relieved to see that their data wasn't wrong in the slightest but exactly on point. A bolt of lightning struck in front of her, but she wasn't phased by it.

The lights in one of the largest cities blew out, causing a massive blackout. Which again, Umbra didn't care for, this was perfect.

In one fluid motion, with grace, she sent forth her Pokemon, a large bipedal Pokemon by the name of Tyanitar, it looked like something out of a Godzilla movie, or was Godzilla itself. But that's besides the point.

"Raikou, it seemed you noticed I'd intervene here. Did you get a gut feeling, or can you feel my hatred for you...i wonder." Umbra spoke to the Legendary Electric type, only for it to snarl angrily as it began to charge a large amount of Electricity.

"RAAAAAA!" Raikou roared loudly, it's cry reaching the heavens. Umbra and Tyranitar watched as it began to rain before a large bolt quickly went its way towards Tyranitar.

"Use Rock Polish then follow up with Crunch!" Tyranitar gave a grunt as it polished it's rocky body, increasing its speed.

Raikou snarled as it watched Tyranitar move at it with breakneck speed. Raikou peered around the confined area to measure it's chances. Raikou didn't want to cause any problems for the humans nearby as that wasn't what it wanted to do, however the human in front of it was emitting such malice that it garnered it's attention, and so it would confront this human.

Also, something else was bothering Pokemon all over the world, something not only Raikou felt, but the other legendaries as well.

Tyranitar was inches away from chomping down on Raikou, however the nimble Electric Type moved to the left in a single sequence, and proceeded to encase it's claws in electricity and gave Tyranitar a claw swipe filled with the power of a lightning strike sending it barreling back.

"Damn! It's still faster even with a boost in speed!" Umbra said in surprise.

Tyranitar managed to pick itself back up, growling with anger as it did. Raikou stood there waiting for what it's opponent would do next.

"Stone Edge!" Umbra yelled as she waved her hands.

Raikou watched as rising pillars of blue stone charged at it like stampedes. Raikou dashed towards the pillars, however it cloaked itself in large amounts of electricity as it rushed at the pillars. Umbra watched in shock as it was crashing through the attack, with no fear! Umbra gulped as Raikou jumped up before crashing it's body into Tyranitar, sending it flying into a nearby Radio Station.

"Tch, It was stronger than we imagined." Umbra said in disbelief but soon she accepted her defeat.

Raikou stood there, staring down Umbra and her crew.

"You still want to fight!" Umbra watched as Raikou gave a snort, and in a flash it made one huge bound to one building and onto the next.

"That bastard, looking down on me! I'll DEFEAT YOU!" Umbra yelled with all her frustrations releasing.

She fell on the floor, this was a huge failure and miscalculation on her part. She wasn't expecting much from Raikou...or was she too overconfident?

"Asmodeus, are you here?"

"I am always here, what is it you need, child?"

"I wanted to know, can you truly defeat Arceus?"

Asmodeus only gave a hiss at Orochi's question, it was a fine question. Every mastermind has their doubts.

"As I am now, no, I am way too….small. In my original size I can, you see. When Susanoo defeated me, my powers were stolen by Arceus in the end, however I can always get those powers back by eating Legendary Pokemon. "

"Interesting, I didn't know that…."

Yet again, history seems to be written completely wrong.

"I'm not surprised, because I'm not supposed to exist, I was born out of the deadly and toxic emotions of human beings."

Orochi took that part to heart, it would seem humans are the reason for their own extinction. It was a saddening fact and why she will have to where humans shouldn't exist, a world with just Pokemon….and her, and hopefully her brother. That was her goal for now, she'll sacrifice everyone for the sake of this dream. She'll do that, even if she loses her humanity.

"Very well, I've made up my mind."

"Oh?"

"Let's destroy all humans, but me and my brother. A world where Pokemon can live freely without the need of humans, just like millions of years ago, even thousands when humans weren't as smart and cruel as they are now. We'll destroy Arceus and rewrite everything." Orochi said with new found conviction.

"Very well, i guess this is what it means to share a bond, you're the first human to try and reason with me, so i'll give you my full strength, in exchange, you...stay my friend, forever." The Hydra looking Legendary Pokemon said with genuine emotion in his tone, causing Orochi to give a warm smile.

"Of course."

"Orochi." Orochi sighed as Verde spoke.

"Yes?"

"Umbra failed in capturing Raikou, it seemed it was much more stronger and experienced than what our data gave." Verde informed, getting Orochi to hum.

"Really? How curious."

"What should we do?"

"We? No no….i'll head to Johto." Orochi laughed.

"But…"

"It's fine, I'll do everything myself. Go enjoy the rest of your days." Orochi grabbed a pokeball that was to her left and smiled every so confident.

"If no one else can do it, I'll handle it." Orochi said again, but much more smoothly. As she did, she put on a simple white tank top, black shorts and sturdy looking brown boots. A cape was connected to her top, the color of purple with a black interior.

"Good, I was itching for a fight. If these so-called Beasts are deserving of the title of Legendary, I'll be the judge of that!" Asmodeus eagerly spoke, as he returned to his pokeball.

...

"Seltas, Bulldoze!" Gedeon cried, with Flygon following up with a large stomp of the ground, sending a crushing ripple throughout the field, Darkrai avoided the attack easily, while Empoleon used water to propel itself into the air in a graceful manner, Aegislash was protected by its shields, nullifying its damage.

Gedeon and Flygon smirked as their targets were in the air.

"DRACO METEOR!" Tobias and Charly's eyes widened as they watched in slight panic as Flygon shot off a golden meteor into the air, in close proximity to Darkrai and Empoleon equally.

"NOT SO FAST!" Tobias shouted. "DARKRAI, ICE BEAM!"

Darkrai obeyed its order and in the palm of its hands a frost hue appeared, before a blast of ice erupted, countering the blistering amounts of meteors coming its way.

Empoleon wasn't so lucky and faced heavy damage, falling towards the ground.

"Sacred Sword!" Arthur said with vigor in his tone. Aegislash moved upwards, exiting it's shield stance. One of its hands grabbed onto the shield, before it's body started to give off a sizzle sound, before it became a literal lightsaber.

Empoleon couldn't recover in time as it was slashed in its abdomen and sent rolling before eventually crashing into the walls of the stadium.

Gedeon looked at how Charly was stumped by the loss, Gedeon could only sigh at how quick the Empoleon was defeated. The Aegislash was truly terrifying indeed.

"Now, the playing field is set." Arthur said as Aegislash looked at Flygon. Flygon returned the challenging glare.

"Gedeon Alexander, this is the end of you." Tobias gave a smug, crooked smile that promised pain.

"So it would seem, come, I'll take you both on!"

Everyone in the arena was shocked at the challenge that Gedeon brought up. He was fighting a Legendary and another intensely strong Pokemon from Kalos. Was he out of his mind? Most likely. Was he confident? Not likely.

But he can't lose here, Gedeon shifted a look to the area where Looker, Cynthia, Jack and the fighting twins were and gave them a smile that flickers like cinders under the night sky in the woods, before glancing back at Flygon.

"Seltas, let's go all out!"

-END-

AN: And we're done! Hopefully this chapter was quite informative to our villains and their backstories, some people are just straight evil for the sake of being evil and some for valid but not so valid reasons. If you guys noticed, I haven't shown the Unova, Alola and Galar generals, because they won't make a move till later down the road in this story.

So we see the human side to Orochi, who is willing to lose it in order to see her ideals finalized. I wanted to go a different route with her, like how she wishes to be the only human alongside her Brother, Gedeon in her new words, which is why she feels she has to do everything herself since Umbra failed. She doesn't want any other miscalculations or roadblocks

Asmodeus is a funny one I like writing, and his connection to Arceus should be quite out of the water for some of you. I won't spoil anything here.

Also, Gedeon's Nightmare outfit is just Moon Knight's current runs suit but with a different color and stuff.

Also with the Umbra vs Raikou battle, I wanted Legendaries to feel like the title, the Legendary Beasts are nowhere near my favorite but they deserve some respect. Asmodeus doesn't know of them so he feels like he has to test them to see if they're worthy of being called such, that'll be quite the battle.

Let me know if you guys are enjoying this arc and story overall. Also you have my permission to use Gedeon in your stories. Just don't make him a wuss is all i'm asking lmao

Idk when i'll update the next chapter, since i've begun to write another story. But I hope this chapter satisfies you guys until it's updated again!

With that said, stay safe and healthy!
