Previously - "HARRY POTTER", a voice pitched voice hissed, loud enough to shake the foundations of the castle, "YOU HAVE FOILED MY PLANS FOR THE LAST TIME. IF THE MYSTIC SQUADRON DO NOT SURRENDER IN THE NEXT HOUR, I WILL REDUCE THE CASTLE TO DUST."

"I think we've got more important things to worry about mate," Ron sighed.

The other rangers demorphed, "Can't we have a moment to enjoy this victory," Harry sighed. Suddenly they were on a deadline, the Battle for Hogwarts was about to begin.

"So, one hour to find the final Horcruxes and save the magical world," Dean grumbled, "no pressure then."

"Let's start small", Harry began, "we need to find the Grey Lady and the location of the Diadem." He turned to the pink ranger, "Cho, I reckon a fellow Ravenclaw is our best shot, any idea where to begin looking?"

Cho shook her head, "You do know how big Hogwarts is," she groaned and rubbed her temples, "I didn't see her that often so she could be anywhere. Let's start with Ravenclaw Tower, the few times I saw her were around the tower."

"We'll find McGonagall and help with the defence," Ron added, speaking on behalf of the rest of the Mystic Squadron.

"Good plan", Harry replied, "we'll let you know if we find the Diadem."

Cho led Harry out the Great Hall, leaving Ron to direct the rest of the Rangers back to the main Courtyard. Compared to when they arrived, the area was now a hive of activity with teachers and older students hussling the younger students away to safety. Ron was pleased to see his parents and the twins had escaped and had managed to meet up with Bill and Fleur. He spotted other familiar faces, Remus, Tonks and Kingsley together with other members of the Order and the school faculty.

As the rangers approached, all movement stopped and every pair of eyes turned towards them, "Weasley," McGonagall gasped, "so the rumours were true." The Deputy Headmistress looked passed the four Mystic Squadron rangers, "I see you've brought along some guests."

"We've seen what they can do," Fred began.

"Old Mouldy-shorts won't know what hit him," George finished for his brother.

"I wish I shared your optimism," the Transfiguration teacher sighed, "but we need every wand we can get."

Chase slowly raised his hand, "Technically we're not magicians or whatever you call yourselves," he waived his Dinovolver, "but we come armed with these, we'll handle the tuxedoed grunts for you." The other Dino Charge rangers slowly nodded in agreement with their black ranger.

"It's not just monsters that Voldemort will bring though," Remus began, "he'll have giants and various werewolf packs at his side along with other dark creatures and maybe even dragons."

"We have our zords," Tyler replied, "not too much can match up against Dino power."

As the red Dino Charge ranger was speaking, Tommy slowly pulled out his Master Morpher, "Dragons you say," with a flash the morpher changed into the Dragon Dagger, "the rest of the team might not have a zord anymore and in theory he is still active, just laying dormant."

"Tommy, you can't be serious," Kimberly began, "wouldn't he be in Angel Grove Bay?"

"Not necessarily," Billy interrupted, "I might he wrong but if the connection to the Dragon Dagger remains then he could be summoned anywhere in the world."

The word of the original blue ranger was enough for Tommy to blow into the dagger, playing the familiar summoning tune of the Dragonzord. After a couple of renditions, the green ranger slowly lowered the dagger, "Maybe he's been asleep for too long," he sighed.

Suddenly there was a murmuring from the student body and everyone's attention turned towards the Great Lake. Bubbles started to form on the surface and a familiar silver face emerged from the water, "I can't believe that worked," Koda smiled in awe, "it's been over twenty years since I last saw the Dragonzord."

With a screech and a stretch, the green and gold zord stomped out the water and towards the castle. Upon laying eyes on Tommy and the Dragon Dagger, the zord let out a happy cry, "Good to see you too buddy," the original green ranger smiled, "sorry to wake you up but we've got some work to do."

As the Dragonzord stomped out the water and assumed a defensive position at the edge of the castle, the assembled witches and wizards gaped at the machine, "That's not something you see everyday," Remus commented dryly.

"Bloody awesome though," the twins added in unison.

"You think that's good," Tyler began, pulled out one of his Dino Gems, "wait until you see Rexy in action."

Jason though stopped his fellow red ranger from summoning his zord, "We can compare zords later," he began with authority, "it's not just giants and dragons we'll be facing, we're bound to be facing several human enemies too."

"Dad and I have been looking into that," Keira replied, "I did some research whilst staying with the Mystic Squadron and our suits should protect us against low to moderate powered attacks. I would advise against getting hit too many times though or getting hit with an Unforgivable."

"We didn't have enough data on those curses to form a scientific opinion", Billy added, "in theory we've taken stronger hits-".

"But duck and cover if something green comes our way," Shelby finished for the original blue ranger.

"That's why you'll have us," Neville Longbottom approached the group with what looked like the entire sixth and seventh year Gryffindor class, "we'll keep the Death Eaters away from you."

Professor McGonagall let out a deep sigh of a long-suffering teacher, "Mr Longbottom, I believe you were told to leave the castle." She shook her head in defeat, "Come with me then, you too Mr Finnegan," she added whilst looking at the Irish student, "your ability to destroy anything you touch could come in useful."

"I'll come too", Dean interrupted, "having Ranger protection there couldn't hurt and I'm not letting my best friend out my sight until this is over."

Seamus offered him a lop-sided smile, "You're a soppy git, you know that."

"Very well," Professor McGonagall said, "follow me you three."

As the Professor and the three teens walked away towards the footbridge on the castle grounds, Ron turned to the remaining Rangers, "We should prepare for a sneak attack too," he began, "we know there's several secret passages in and out of the school, we used one of them earlier in the year."

"Good thinking Ronald," Kingsley replied, "I will help organise everyone here, why don't the three of you," he indicated towards Ron, Hermione and Ginny, "seal up those entrances as best as you can."

"We can help with that", George put his arm around his twins shoulder, "no one knows those passages like we do."

There was a quiet nod from Kingsley and the four Weasley's plus Hermione turned towards the castle. Before they could go anywhere though, Mrs Weasley pulled all five of them in for a tight hug, "Look out for each and come back safe," she whispered quietly to them.

"Don't worry mother, we're with three Power Rangers, what could possibly go wrong?" Fred replied with a broad grin. The group jogged back towards the castle, leaving a nervous Molly Weasley behind.

Deeper into the castle, Harry and Cho made it to Ravenclaw Tower, the pink ranger leading the way through the common room door, "Answering a riddle to get inside, what a headache."

"Only if you're an idiot," Cho snorted, "you'd be surprised how many non-Ravenclaws managed to get into the Tower." Against the far wall was the largest collection of books Harry had seen outside of the library. He wouldn't have known where to begin search but Cho confidently walked up the shelves and plucked out the book she needed, "This is the only picture Diadem that I've found," she showed the image to Harry.

To Harry, the Diadem looked like an ordinary tiara but there was something familiar about the object. He swore he had seen it before but he couldn't quite place his finger on it, "So, you are seeking the diadem," a ghostly voice stunned the two Rangers. As they spun around, they came face to face with the Grey Lady, the ghost of Helena Ravenclaw, "thousands of people have tried, why do you seek the diadem?"

"To save the world," Harry offered with a small grin but the Grey Lady wasn't impressed, "you must know what's about to happen, the castle is about to be invaded."

"Of course I know,", the Grey lady snapped, interrupting Harry, "I saw Hogwarts being built, I was one of the first students taught here." She paused, attempting to regain her composure, "I lived here all my human life and I am cursed to spend my afterlife here too so you will need a better reason for seeking the diadem."

"Seriously, the impending destruction of your home isn't enough," Harry grumbled.

"Maybe let me handle this," Cho nudged Harry aside, "we're not seeking the diadem for personal glory or the power it holds," she addressed the Grey Lady, "we believe Voldemort tarnished it, stored a piece of his soul inside." At this, the Grey Lady shot an alarmed look at the pink ranger, "We need to find it and destroy it or the whole magical world will fall."

There was a long silence before the Grey Lady let out a deep sigh, "It doesn't hold any power, my mother made that up." She shook her head, "She said it added to her mystique, I hated that diadem so I took it and ran away." She floated over the pink ranger and pointed towards the image in the book, "She sent someone to retrieve it, there was a struggle," she moved aside some of her dress robes to reveal a deep stab wound in her abdomen, "it was an accident but the Baron felt terrible guilt and two lives were lost that day."

"The Baron?" Harry asked, "as in the Bloody Baron?" the Grey Lady nodded her head, "What are the odds of that?"

"My guilt for taking the diadem and his for my death bound us to Hogwarts," the Grey Lady replied sadly, "condemned to the land of the living but never able to be a part of it again."

Cho offered her a small smile, hovering her hand against the Grey Lady's, "Then help us find it," the pink ranger began, "maybe that can begin to lift the guilt for both of you."

The Grey Lady nodded, "The greatest irony is that the diadem was never lost," she began, "when my body was returned to the castle it was still on my person. Knowing that others would seek the diadem, my mother hid it in the castle and spread a story that it had been lost in the struggle. For centuries people have looked for the diadem but no one found it, until around fifty years ago."

"Voldemort?" Harry asked.

"Tom Riddle as he was then," the Grey Lady sighed, "I'm ashamed to say that he charmed the location of the diadem from me, ever since then I have not been able to sense the presence of the artifact."

"Then we're right back at the beginning," Cho groaned, "Voldemort could've hidden it anywhere in the world."

"Not necessarily,", Harry replied, "Dumbledore told me that Voldemort liked to collect trophies and that he liked to store then in location of great personal significance to him." Suddenly he remembered where he had seen the diadem, "The Room of Requirement," he clapped his hands together in excitement, "there's a bust in there with what I thought was an old piece of jewelry but it's this," he pointed at the diadem, "in his arrogance, Voldemort didn't move the diadem, he left it where it was."

"Do you think Voldemort would do that?" Cho asked.

"Fits his profile," Harry nodded, "he probably thought he was the only one to discover the Room of Requirement."

The Grey Lady offered a small laugh, "A true piece of Ravenclaw thinking," she nodded her approval, "go now Harry Potter, I sense the growing presence of the Dark Lord's army."

The red and pink rangers didn't need a second invitation and dashed out of Ravenclaw Tower. Before long, they found themselves in front of the dancing troll tapestry, Harry slid to a halt and began pacing, "Are you sure about this?" Cho asked.

Harry didn't reply until the doors to the Room of Requirement appeared, "Do you have a better idea?" he answered, "now, be prepared for anything".

The doors slowly opened but before the two rangers could go any further, they spotted Professor Snape blocking their path, "Potter," he sneered as giant bat wings popped from his back, "I hoped to see you today, I've been waiting for this day for a long time."

Harry called on the Sword of Gryffindor as Cho adopted a defensive stance, "So have I," he snarled, "you murdered Professor Dumbledore, now it's time you paid for your crimes". The long time enemies stood across from each other, knowing their rivalry would come to an end today.

A/N - I've had the visual of the Dragonzord rising out the lake since I first conceived this story six years ago. It is possible within the rules set by the PR universe, probably not...looks cool in my head though.
