Chapter 670.
"Another surprise change."
(September 5. Great Lakes City.)
Right now, everything seems kinda peaceful, a lot of the folks are getting ready for the come back to school and right now Jordan, along with Ryan are talking with Ronnie Anne and Sid on the roof, and they look to Lincoln who sits by himself and watches the city from afar.
He's not alone, Patriot lands next to him, and so he pets his head. Ronnie Anne looks towards Jordan. "So, this all started after some dumb plan that Leni made?"
Jordan nods. "Sadly, yeah. She wanted the whole thing to be some surprise, and it didn't go so well, I mean Lincoln didn't have a choice, Leni was gonna be leaving soon, and he was under pressure trying to sort out on spending time with her, and the whole new roommate change ordeal."
"Everything that's gone wrong, has escalated and turned to something worse, and he's shown no mercy to the morons that Richmund keeps sending, this is all so absurd and turned into a total chaotic cluster of a mess. Lincoln is still in there, he's just trying to figure out what to do inside to change again to the Lincoln Loud we all know and love."
This does concern Ronnie Anne and Sid. Sid then asks. "So, what happens now? How are you guys gonna help him?"
Ryan responds. "We can't. The best plan is to leave him be, but be there if he does need support. Same goes with Luna too. Lincoln is hiding his anger and showing depression and so much concern to no one, and shows his true anger when someone pesters him, and those are usually enemies who come back."
"Luna on the other hand has turned volatile and she will snap and go berserk on anyone who thinks they can tell her otherwise. She's torn apart everything she's known as music and she's completely lost all fate in music, and doesn't even respond or interact with anyone."
"But, the possible chances for Luna to be herself, if is that Lincoln talks to her. He could be the only one who would be able to snap her back to her original self, and apparently that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Both are shattered and straying away from each other… The brother and sister bond, is being yanked and close to being torn apart, and all because of that stupid surprise plan Leni made."
This truly does concern Ronnie Anne, and she's got a mix of anger and concern. "Guys, this is so messed up… Also, where the heck is Luna Loud?"
Jordan then recalls. "Well, she did come here and with Michelle Lewis too, and Sam. They went off to Margarita's, and I don't know why. Sam also told us to wait for a text message and then we should all go there to see what's going on."
This confuses them, but they shake it off and wait for when it does come to that. Then Sid asks. "So, what's the word with the now released Regina and Chastity?" They then inform them more about Regina and Chastity and how much their change is gonna work, but they need to steer away from Lincoln.
Lincoln on the other hand remains silent, and he continues to ponder about what is going on.
(Margarita's Salon.)
Margarita is surprised by the request from Luna Loud. "Umm, well I can do that and with CJ's help, it will work out. Also, this is a very nice looking version of you, Luna." She looks to the photo and she is impressed.
Luna nods as she sits onto the chair, and Sam along with Michelle, Bullet and Bernardo watch this happen. "Margarita, please…. I just, I want this change. I don't wanna be the same everyone knew, and I wanna feel like the responsible me is back in action."
"Please, make this happen." She then looks to CJ, Margarita and Carlota. "I will pay whatever I can, I just wanna fix the mistakes the others made me get into, and make sure that what I had, the bond with my brother is not gonna shatter, it hurts to see him go through the same problems when I changed long ago."
The trio looks to Sam and Michelle and they too have concerns in their eyes, and so Margarita looks to her two assistants. "Well, I guess It's time to make this happens, my friends." CJ nods and he has his sheers, and Carlota has a comb and some makeup, and Margarita readies her best equipment to help make Luna's hair as long as it should be.
They all begin to go to work and make the changes onto Luna Loud, and the loud teen remains silent and accepts what they're gonna do to her, while Sam, Michelle, Bullets and Bernardo look on as they begin the change, deep down the Black Panther is afraid of this, to see the hair trimmed is scary.
(Later.)
The group head to Margarita's, and they all seem concerned as Lincoln is with them. The boy seemed less tempted to see what's going on. "This had better be worth checking on."
They all go into the place, and they see Sam and Michelle are adjusting Luna and her attire, but Jordan, Ryan, Ronnie Anne, Sid and the eagles stop and are shocked by what they see. Lincoln is the last to come inside. "Alright, let's go home. I wanna be in my room and…. What in the name of all things?"
He sees a figure, and the voice is Luna. "Hello, Lincoln. It's been a long time, hasn't it little brother?" Lincoln remains stunned, speechless and confused, and all he sees, is a long lost sister.
(The Loud House.)
All of the loud siblings are busy with talking about what Lucy and Lynn Jr have found out, and even Leni and Lori are on video chat and are hearing this.
Lori. "So, Luna is planning to change her looks, and then this could change her attitude into the Luna Loud from long ago?"
Lucy nods. "We believe so. It seems like she wants to become the Luna that Lincoln loved, the one who was not told to go to that rockstar concert of Mick Swagger." They all look towards Lynn Sr and Rita, and they both seem guilty.
Rita sighs. "Kids, we get it and we're so sorry for what we did long ago. I wish we didn't do that, and yet we did and you guys are right. We did all of this, all of who you are now, just to show off how talented you all are. We're terrible parents."
Lynn Sr wipes away his tears. "I just… if only I could go back in time, and stop what I did. Then Luna would still be alright, and Lincoln wouldn't be left alone to face trouble. She might also be able to help Lincoln find what he could be good at, after all… The bond between brother and sister is strong."
Luan sighs. "And we all managed to break them apart, again. We need to do something, before thing turn from bad to dang worse."
Then Lana looks out the window. "Guys, they're all back and… What the heck?" Lana then backs away and the others see the door open and Lincoln walks in, surprised and still not talking.
Lola goes over. "Linky, are you okay?" she then stops and backs away at someone from behind the boy. Jordan and Sam come in and they too step aside, and then Lincoln steps aside and everyone takes a good look, at the new Luna Loud.
Luna Loud Appearance: Gone with the pixie cut style, and she has bangs that split in two directions, her hair is longer and reaches her back. She's wearing musical note-shaped earrings, and a white long-sleeve blouse inside of a purple sweater vest that has a small light purple bow at the collar.
A hairband is in her hair, she's also wearing a light purple skirt with no plaid patterns, black shoes, and white knee high socks and black leggings underneath the skirt.
All of them are surprised by what they see, Luna Loud is different and she seems less of a rock n' roll kinda gal. Lynn Sr and Rita are surprised, she's not British in nature, and she seems elegant and something that would've come from an alternate world.
Lynn Sr steps forward. "Luna? Is that you?"
Luna puts her hand up. "Dad, please stop and let me speak." she then walks by her brother, but not without placing a small kiss onto his forehead, and he is so confused. She then sees the video chats are on. "Everyone is here, good."
Luna then stands before everyone. "Now, we all need to know that changes are dangerous and of we are not careful, then others will feel hurt and lose the way they are, and as of now I have changed, and I intend to keep this side of me that was lost, thrown away and casted out long ago."
She looks to Lynn Sr and Rita who back away and feel nervous about those words.
Luna then continues. "Alright, so some more to speak about. I am not rooming with Luan anymore, in fact I have went through what could be possible. Now, we all know that Luan is the comedian and she has ended her pranking spree, and she has become more caring and understanding to one loud."
"And that would be Lily, Luan and Lily can be roommates, but my question is Lisa." she looks to the 5-year old and the little genius answers.
"Well, as long as I can still retain the basic of bedtime stories, then I am alright with that. It doesn't seem such a bad idea, since Lucy and Lynn don't sleep or do well unless they are roommates, and they're going to be a long while of changing as they grow up."
"The twins are alright with each other, even though they have many differences, and of course Lily and Luan are fine with each other since Luan is more in touch since she understands Lily, even before she learned to speak in a sort of properly manner."
"Now, I have said that I am better off living with someone as a roommate, but I have changed and grownup and I am ready to accept a bedroom of my own, as Lincoln has done before, and it would help keep me clear of some small snoring, sorry Lily." Lily nods and she goes over and hugs Lisa, and so Lisa returns the embrace.
Luna nods. "Very good, little sister." She then looks towards the others. "Now, I shall be Lincoln's roommate, as I wanna continue in spending time with him and catching up on the lost time that has been shattered. I don't wanna see him go through depression."
"Because we all know that depression would lead to some very dark intentions, and I think we all know what that is…" She then looks towards Lucy. "Tell me, Lucy. What are these dark intentions that most depressed people face?"
Lucy didn't wanna say it, but she does so anyway. "Suicide."
Hearing that makes them have tears and Leni tries to hold back her own and so does Lori. Lincoln remains silent and looks to Luna and ignores the others, then Luna continues. "Thank you, and sorry that you had to speak of it, little sister." She places a small kiss on the forehead of Lucy and this shocks her.
Luna then looks to the others again. "Making surprises can be fun, but you need to take precaution on those said surprises because many are not sure on what might transpire. As a simple planned surprise can lead to some bad timings, and some very bad choices."
She looks to Leni who has tears and she tries to speak, but Luna beats her. "I will continue my role, the actual role of being the one who has been responsible since Lincoln came into our lives, and everything here will not fall apart, the chaos will not twist and turn and I shall not leave the others to go through bad choices."
She then looks to Luan. "I do hope that you can keep up with this. Because until Lynn Junior is of the right age, we're both going to have the by the "Only" Eldest of the family, to maintain some peace and keep the chaos and clutter out of place, understood?"
Luan nods. Luna smiles. "Good, also…." She then kneels down to Lincoln. "Tonight, I'm gonna give you some space for you to think about what's been going on. I will be Luan's roommate just for the night, but tomorrow night we're gonna be roommates, as it always should've been."
She then speaks to Leni, even though she doesn't look to her. "Because the changes of roommate should be made when that said person is ready for the next step of changes, a choice that would've made sense and better than a simple surprise that would've ended the life of someone."
Leni is now confused, and her friends can see that she is lost for words at what Luna had just said, she should've asked Lincoln, but she didn't and it all went downhill. Lori notices this and she sees, that the old Luna Loud is back and taking over.
Lincoln just looks to Luna and he has tears in his eyes and he hugs her, and he continues to sob into her shirt and so she does what she can to comfort her little brother. "Shhhh, easy now Lincoln. Everything's okay now. I'm here, everything's fine. We're both fine, when you think the time is right, then you can have a room for yourself, I won't surprise you with a change, unless you say otherwise."
Sam smiles and then she speaks. "Because that right there is the dang right thing, baby!"
This makes Jordan, Michelle and Ryan agree, and also cheer and so do the eagles and Bernardo.
Luna looks towards Sam. "Sam, I know you have my gear. But I need to ask for some of it, and I think you know which one."
Sam nods. "I got it Lunes." She then goes to the laptops. "And talk to you two, next time. Try and go through what happened today, because if Lincoln didn't like the change, then let's see you two handle it." Before Lori can speak, Sam closes the laptops and she walks out of the house.
Luna then departs from the hug and she guides her brother up the stairs, he looks like he needs sleep, and she can tell that he hasn't slept well in a long, long time.
Seeing this side of Luna, was making them confused and the parents concerned, but then Lisa speaks. "This is the right thing, and I do believe that Luna would make a great mother one day." she then goes up the stairs.
Luan then carries Lily and she follows. "She has a point, Luna is the eldest, and she knows what she's doing. She always has." Then Lucy and the others follow, and this makes Lynn Sr and Rita question how this all went down, and it all began when Leni made the surprise roommate swap.
Lynn Sr looks to Rita. "Honey, I think we need to take some parenting classes."

A/N: Gone with the rockstar and hello the new Luna Loud, she isn't like she was before, and is more on what she is if she never did go to that concert, she is a new Luna Loud who was forged from the true path from the younger Luna Loud, now how the heck will they all adapt to this?
