Their quest for tacos and fries led Amber, Klaus, Vanya, and Allison to a salon Allison worked at. The food was slowly eaten and Klaus thought it would be wise for them to top the meal with alcohol. Amber glanced at Klaus and shook her head.

"You really shouldn't drink Klaus. You were doing so well." Amber told him.

"Yes well when one tries to spare a love that doesn't know he's gay or doesn't feel the attraction from the first meeting, that does put me in low spirits." Klaus lamented as he poured himself a glass.

Amber was at first confused until she remembered when Klaus had told her about a guy he'd met in his ten months in Vietnam. It clicked on why Klaus was drinking.

"Oh Klaus, don't tell me you tried to see Dave did you?" Amber sympathized.

Klaus nodded and Vanya was a bit at a loss.

"A guy Klaus loved that he somehow met before in Vietnam. Though ever since Amber and Five came back, life has been even less normal than it already was." Allison told her.

Vanya looked to Klaus and he looked to be very down as he took his first drink. Vanya felt a similar sadness for Sissy who loved her yet wanted to remain in a relationship with her husband she didn't love anymore.

"Yes, well people say it's better to have loved and lost than to never love at all…but whoever said that has never had a love so strong as mine for Dave. I mean…what made him realize he was gay and how could we regain what we lost or at least not have him join the army for him to die." Klaus sighed.

Amber went to give Klaus a hug since it was clear he was still grieving and mourning despite Dave being very much alive.

Vanya hugged him and so did Allison. Klaus smiled as he felt his sisters hugged him and realized he was putting a damper on their time together.

"Hey now I'll be fine, now let's continue this little after party of sorts. Vanya, Allison; drinks?"

Both women nodded as they got themselves a glass. Klaus made one and offered it to Amber.

"Come on Amber, join the fun. After all, I know you like a good drink like the rest of us." Klaus grinned.

Amber chuckled and she took the drink. They talked about how the world was ending again and if they could really stop it this time. Amber believed they could but was internally bothered by how their time here could change things in 2019. It nagged at her until she got on her second drink and the thought vanished after her third. Klaus soon shifted the conversation to Five and he asked,

"Wouldn't it be weird if Five grew up hot?"

"What ew, Klaus!" Allison reacted.

Klaus looked at Amber since she lived with him for decades and she grinned with pleasure. She reminisced on how they both grew up together and how their emotional attraction matched their physical attraction when they were older. It made Amber's spine shudder slightly since she missed making love with her husband.

"I was there Klaus and oh yeah he was hot as hell. Lush voice, warm eyes, nice body and a tight yet cute ass. Such strength too and I loved it when we shared an embrace or a bed together. He knew how to make me moan and please me like a man should. He got so big when we…"

"Okay no, stop! We don't want to hear about your sex life with our brother thank you." Allison gagged.

Klaus and Vanya laughed.

"Oh I very much do since he acts mostly like an old man with us now despite his youthful look. It's interesting to hear how Five was 'in his prime' and how much of a passionate man he was. Wonder how he learned any of it since he was 13 when he left us." Klaus mused.

Amber laughed softly.

"Guess we taught each other what we loved through experimentation and our moans in pleasure. When you're in love, the rest on how to express it just comes naturally. He's talented with his tongue and hands."

Allison looked horrified but Klaus was enjoying hearing the perversions and love his brother had for his wife.

"Five sounds like an expert yet mischievous lover. Favorite position? Would you make the mannequin watch your acts of love?" Klaus asked.

"Okay no move on! I know you love my brother, but this is just too weird." Allison asked.

Amber scoffed playfully, sipping on her second or third glass of alcohol and argued,

"Least I'm not pining for my brother. Seriously was it always that bad Klaus with how Allison wanted Luther?" Amber asked.

Vanya seemed to be shocked since Luther and Allison were both her siblings.

"Oh yes, much worse actually. Always making bedroom looking eyes at 13 at each other, sneaking off on together breaks; it was cute." Klaus mentioned.

"And even with your marriages, it's clear there is something going on between you two despite what happened with Luther's body. You must really love him beyond how a sister should feel for her brother." Amber added.

Allison got all embarrassed and continued to drink.

This amazed Vanya and she asked,

"Aren't we all brothers and sisters?"

Amber cackled since they all might have been, but thankfully or unfortunately she wasn't adopted by Reginald Hargreaves. Amber couldn't imagine being almost closed off in her teen years and the only guys her age would be her siblings. It would be weird seeing Five now as anything other than her husband but there would have been a timeline where Five would be her brother...disgusting and cruel.

"Hey don't look at me Vanya, I married into the family. Look at your sister who clearly gets wet for Luther for odd reasons. Probably wants him to dominate her and make her scream his name in a loving bed." Amber stated.

Klaus chuckled since Amber was even more unfiltered when she drank and loved it.

"Well in our young days he did have a sweet innocent charm to him so I can see why he caught Allison's eye versus the rest of us. Plus, Luther did have strength, both literal and in character. All the valor and honor attitude." Klaus expressed.

Allison smiled softly since she did like Luther for those very reasons. He was kind, strong, and was just a soft soul despite the brute strength she had. Besides, technically, none of them were biologically related so what did it matter.

"Well technically..."

Klaus laughed.

"If you have to use technically, you're already fucked." Klaus interrupted.

"Yes and you so want to fuck him that its painful to look at. Then again if I have to wait any longer for Five to fuck me again, I'm going to lose it." Amber remarked.

Allison blushed a red at Amber's vulgar word choice and she defended,

"We never even kissed!" Allison stated.

"Is that true?" Vanya asked curiously.

Allison shot a warning glare at Vanya and answered,

"Yes! When would we even have been able to? Klaus, you know how strict dad was. He didn't even like it when we took breaks early. If he saw any of us kissing under his roof, he would have a stroke." Allison asked.

Klaus grinned and coyly answered,

"So you admit you wanted to kiss him?"

Allison blushed and told Klaus,

"When did we get on me all of a sudden?"

Amber smiled softly.

"Because we all either have or had relationship issues that are still on our minds. I'm just thankfully Five and I are in a better place."

"Yet you're just as badly burned if not worse in family relationships. We all had terrible childhoods; especially Vanya with her being kept away from us and being drugged by our old man." Klaus expressed.

Vanya looked at Allison and she sighed.

"He also made me rumor you to make your ordinary. I hate that he made me do that now that I really think about it….I swear I didn't mean to and I can't believe he made me hurt my sister."

Vanya saw Allison was deeply upset and troubled by what she told Vanya. She, however, felt calm and just wanted a better relationship with all her siblings, including Allison.

"I know Allison. You don't seem like the person who would like hurting people; especially emotionally. Anything that bad happened in our childhoods we should try moving on from." Vanya mentions.

"Despite your memory loss? I would perhaps want to know more in your shoes." Amber presses.

Vanya shrugs.

"It's all the past either way. We can't do much about it now." Vanya spoke in a somewhat profound way.

Amber sighed and Allison noticed Amber's shift in mood.

"Did something happen with Five again?" she asked.

"No, something much worse if I have to be honest with myself."

Amber shared that the woman she had been staying with was Maude's sister and just how awful Maude truly was. Allison was in horror at what Maude did to Amber since it was like what she did to Vanya only one hundred times worse. Vanya was upset that this news almost broke Amber into tears again. Klaus was oddly angry and he got up to hug Amber in a strong embrace.

"Maude is truly a fucking bitch Amber. Don't you dare let yourself feel anything towards her. Even anger means she has this hold on you. It's ironic how she's done ungodly things for God. Joanna does care about you even though she didn't want to share this…don't harbor anger for her where it's really towards that psycho wretch." Klaus told Amber.

Amber cracked a slight smile and hugged Klaus back.

"You and Diego are truly wonderful brothers…I'm thankful I have a chance at a family again…though we are all fucked up people." Klaus chuckled and nodded as he sat down in a salon chair.

"We truly are and most of us knows shit about relationships. Vanya is pinning for some farm frau."

"Her name is Sissy!" Vanya exclaimed.

"I'm carrying a torch for a soldier I have not properly met yet in love and Luther in love with his sister," Klaus said with a chuckle.

"Again, Klaus we are not related!" Allison defended.

"The only healthy ones were Amber and Five with their mannequin friend. Bet you had a lot of three ways." Klaus grinned.

Amber rolled her eyes.

"God no! Five was mine and mine alone. Thankfully we never had fights about Five banging her since that would be an insult to our relationship if he needed her that way!" Amber protectively said.

Klaus chuckled.

"I'm kidding Amber. Plus you wouldn't want to share. Five is so devoted to you and you are to him. It's almost Shakespearean and I hate that guy." Klaus commented.

Amber smiled and felt her heart race.

"He was the first person not to see me as a monster. When Five saw my powers acting up, he wanted to help me control them. We had no one else and we relied on each other. Now we can rely on each other in a mature way and help our family.

Vanya smiled at them and she loved how Amber loved her brother so much.

"You and Five have been through so much."

"He's my first and only love, Vanya. He might be an asshole, but he's my snarky and charming asshole. Just want this whole life or death shit to end so maybe we can find some way to have a family and just live a life we were robbed of." Amber mentioned.

Allison looked to Amber and asked,

"Would that mean finding a way to have children?"

Amber nodded.

"We have a second chance but it's something to talk about after we get back and not have to deal with an end of the world scenario. It might have hurt to lose our first child…but I oddly have a sense of hope that Five and I can have a child again. It will be harder but not impossible."

This whole conversation thread led to several realizations; Vanya was going to declare her love for Sissy; Allison would come clean to Ray about her powers, and Klaus would try once more to help Dave prevent his death in Vietnam. Amber was mixed on all of them but time was already screwed and she had no right to control their lives; everyone was an adult.

"Here's to everyone's endeavors. May we be a bit happier in this life." Amber toasted and downed another drink.

Klaus smiled softly as he finished his drink.

"As we all should since let's face it…our lives were all horrible but they are slowly becoming better." Klaus comments.

Allison smiles softly and nods.

"We are slowly becoming a family again and we love having Amber as a part of it." Vanya adds.

Amber smiled but also felt herself tearing from joy.

"Stop Vanya, you're going to have me start crying again."

"Yes and we don't want our kid sister to cry now." Klaus teased.

Amber chuckled and stated,

"Again, I'm older than all of you!"

"Yet we can't deny you look younger than the rest of us Amber. Probably not going to stop anytime soon." Allison teased.

Amber crossed her arms but Vanya chuckled as well.

"This family is awesome."

That had to be the alcohol talking but Amber did agree with the sentiment. They all enjoyed their time with some music and dancing before they all had to leave. Amber returned to Elliot's in a bit of a daze but was still able to get home without a hitch. She felt a bit tired and decided to rest up a bit before Five got home.

When Five returned, his head was reeling from his encounter with Lila and the Handler. He needed to break the news gently to Amber about her and their second option. Five saw an invite from Diego about a 'light supper' from their father and he felt hopeful. It then occurred to him that Amber wasn't around.

"Hey where's Amber?" Five asked in a concerned tone.

"Think she's taking a nap in Elliot's bedroom. Might have had drinks with Klaus and our sisters." Diego told him.

Great he had to deal with a somewhat inebriated Amber about The Handler's offer…this was going to suck he thought. He quietly entered the bedroom and saw Amber on her side. She looked peaceful and that made Five smile. He stroked her hair and that was enough for Amber to stir.

"Where did you run off to handsome, you missed the drinks?" Amber mused in a giggling tone.

Five chuckled softly and sat beside her. He couldn't be mad at her having drinks since he did something similar back in 2019. She was kind of cute yet sexy when drunk but he still needed to talk to her about what he was offered.

"Was dealing with Lila and sure enough, my hunch was right. She's working with the Commission." Five explained.

Amber glared a bit but soon giggled once more.

"Did you give her a good ass kicking mon coeur? I know you show no mercy for Commission scum."

Five grinned and nodded. He sighed since this next news will get her temper going.

"I did…but a bit of sour news…She's The Handler's daughter and The Handler came by to meet me in a warehouse where I was fighting Lila."

Amber looked a bit puzzled, probably from her drinks and asked,

"How can Handler have a daughter? Don't see her hips birthing out Lila…wonder where she found her. Man Lila must be fucked up like the rest of us if Handler is her mommy." Amber slurred slightly.

"Not the point, but the Handler gave me a way out. I would have to kill the Board of Directors on my own and bring her A.J. Carmichael. Once the job is done, she will give us a briefcase out of this time. Both this apocalypse and the one in 2019 won't happen." Five shared.

Amber knew there had to be a catch and no way Handler would give them what they wanted. Even when drunk, this was too good to be true.

"You can't trust her, we can't trust her. She has ulterior motives and ways to screw us."

"I'm not and there might be something up, but we might have to fall back on this if option one fails." Five expressed.

Amber raised her eyebrow and Five showed her the invitation from his father.

To my pursuers.

I, Sir Reginald Hargreaves, invite you to join me for light supper at half-past seven, on November 20th.

Tomorrow Amber thought and she knew this was going to end badly. However, she rather first take her chances with a somewhat honest man with Reggie than a screwed over deal from Handler. They were given a location and no question all of the family would go. Amber noticed the language and chuckled.

"Well if it's a light supper, guess I need to have something beforehand. Knowing your family, we might not get to the light supper at all and who knows what Reggie's tastes are."

Five gave her a soft smile and proposed,

"Maybe we can have a date before the light supper. Perhaps a movie and lunch?"

Amber smiled softly and kissed his cheek.

"For someone who's all about racing the clock, you sure want to take some detours with me."

Five nodded and took his hand in his wife's, interlacing them ever so softly.

"Maybe my outer youth is finally affecting my old consciousness, but I do want us to have romance times together. We missed a lot of the 'normal' aspects of being a dating and married couple so I would like to make up for lost time."

Amber nodded and kissed his lips softly. Five kissed back and slowly felt his wife sitting on his lap, straddling him and grinding against him. The couple were moaning into their kisses and Amber placed her hands on Five's waist. He was tempted to have his way with her now, but Amber wasn't completely sober and he didn't want to take advantage of her.

"Amber darling, you're drunk."

"On your love yes mon couer." She purred, moving her lips to Five's neck. Amber teased him, finding a soft spot and sucking on it. He let out a needy moan and ran her fingers in her hair. Five got so much as tugging a bit on her hair before realizing he shouldn't do this now.

"Amber please not now, tomorrow I promise."

Amber pulled away. She was a bit down but she did love Five, was a gentleman and wouldn't want to have his way with her while she's a little drunk.

"I knew I married a respectful man."

Five flashed a grin and cupped his wife's face.

"And I married such a seductive and fiery minx. Tomorrow after the light supper, we will have a rich and loving dessert." He whispered in a loving husk.

Amber smiled and pecked his lips.

"Yes, since we deserve it. Just hope we get something from Hargreaves. Handler is someone I don't want to meet again if we don't have to." Amber said with a slight sigh.

"I know, but I will do anything for us and our family to get back home. That is a promise."

Five needed the light supper to go well since like Amber, he didn't trust the Handler. Least they will have moments of pleasure tomorrow in the midst of uncertainty and potential bitter deals. Least he and Amber were on the same wavelength and that truly made him a happy man.

Okay it's behind the curtain time again: Long story short; been debating how this story should go after season 2 since I have some reserves left for this story and a loose plan for what needs to be written. As of September 6, Season 3 should be wrapping up filming and the season has not released yet. My whole debate is after finishing this story's season 2 path if I should put it on hiatus or develop a whole unique season. Both can and will work, it's just a matter of time, perception, and creativity. A note will be made on the last chapter for Against All Odd's take on season 2 about my decision. For those who have stuck with this story so far, thank you for the reads and the feedback. It really makes a difference.
