Violet Petrillo hasn't seen L in over ten years, both having worked together during their teen years. But, when the twelve FBI agents are killed by Kira, Violet gets drawn back in L and his ways as he seeks her help in the case. Matt and Mello try to enjoy a nice day together in bed but get interrupted. Mello then says things he shouldn't, and Matt packs up his stuff.

Mainly based on the 2006 movies and animated series, this story alters the story of the Death Note as we know it by slightly altering Light's decision to kill Lind L. Tailor and by remaining truer to his initial reasons and purpose, instead of losing himself in a childish battle against L. Consequently, things go quite differently for them both, even if some events remain the same.

After stumbling across a notebook of death, three friends decide on keeping it for themselves. Shortly thereafter, their lives take an unexpected turn as everything changes. As tensions rise, everyone is left wondering who will survive.

Rated T for possible themes. Misa doesn't like to share this knowledge but she is an investigator. She likes to help out with cases in her spare time. She has always wished that it was possible for her to be able to meet the great L. However as she finds herself going into the Kira case she finds the chance to do so. Will it be how she dreamed of? And will she be able to help him?

After regaining his memories, Light has the chance to kill L once and for all and finally reign as a god. But, the only problem is that while stricken with amnesia, Light developed feelings for his forgotten foe. And though L hates Kira, he loves Light, and he'll settle for anything in-between. No matter the cost. But the question remains, will love be enough?

The Death Note fell on the same day and at the same time. Two people watched that scene. Light Yagami and another girl. What if the boy was not the first to get it ?
