It was the start of the cavalry battle and Midnight had just cracked her whip. Yet everyone was gunning for the same person, Izuku, since he had the key to the next round the one million points that guaranteed victory.
Izuku's team gunned for it with Tetsutetsu being a makeshift battering ram and Kendo slapping away attacks that came after them. Ibarra used her vines to discreetly grab headbands from people not paying attention, while Izuku dodged hands and attacks aimed at him.
They made it through the mess that was basically a giant mosh pit with people fighting for a headband. Izuku's team was about to sneak off but a wall of ice cut them off from going anywhere.
Looking in the direction of where it came from Todoroki's team with Ida as the head and Momo and Kaminari backing him up. They charged at Izuku's team and Izuku grinned and relayed his plan to his teammates.
"Tetsutetsu charge at them and don't stop no matter what, Shiozaki use your vines to grab their legs to trip them up and Kendo slap any ice sent our way back at them. Alright team, go for it!"
Both teams charged at one another and Tetsutetsu couldn't be happier to just charge headfirst into battle. Todoroki shot ice out at them but Kendo intercepted it and tossed his ice back at them. Momo tried to make something to stop Kendo from countering their attacks but she was unable to move after vines constricted her legs.
Todoroki's team fell as Kaminari fell to and Ida kneeled to avoid falling over and being disqualified. Izuku seeing his chance jumped off Tetsutetsu and landed right in front of Todoroki whose arm was frosting getting ready to launch ice at him.
But Izuku would duck and kick Todoroki's arm away creating another ice wall. Izuku grabbed Todoroki's headband and backflipped away avoiding a swing from Momo and landing right in his teammate's arms.
"Alright team let's go and grab some more, Tetsutetsu, Kendo break the wall, Shiozaki put a shield up!"
Everyone followed his instructions and were impressed with his leadership and ability to come up with great plans on the fly.
"Yo Midoriya man you're so cool with how you make plans like that!"
"Thanks Tetsutetsu, and just call me Izuku, Midoriya makes me sound old. Now let's go hunt for more prey and if you come across a purple-haired student don't talk to him he can brainwash you just by talking to you."
"Woah are you serious man, well thanks for the heads up, now what next? And call me Tetsu."
"Didn't I just tell you, we look for more people." Izuku said while looking blankly at Tetsutetsu.
Kendo and Shiozaki just mentally face palmed since they were familiar with how stupid Tetsutetsu can be but he was a good fighter. The team continued their hunt and got two more teams and they saw Todoroki grab some more headbands which meant they weren't down just yet.
For a while, it seemed as though no one was gunning for them anymore which put them at ease but Izuku had his guard up the whole time. He watched as Monoma tried and failed to go against the purple-haired student. His mouth was his downfall, but something ticked him off and that was the purple-haired student's team.
Mei, Fumikage, and Aoyama were under the control of his brainwashing. He didn't quite care about them but he hated how they were being exploited. It was near the end of the event and they looked around for potential threats.
But as they looked around they would be hit with an explosion that came from overhead, it turns out Bakugo was using his explosions to not touch the ground and be disqualified and he used Sero to reel him back in.
"AWWWW COME ON! That has to be cheating!"
"I did the same thing Tetsu! Kendo use your big fist as best you can to stop us from taking damage and Shiozaki don't use your vines unless you're sure you have a direct hit, he'll burn them away. Tetsu you know the drill."
"Hell yeah I do! LET'S GOOOOOO!"
Izuku's team was charging into battle once more heading over to Bakugo's team with Sero, Kirishima, and Mina. They could be heard saying sorry to Izuku for joining forces with Bakugo.
But that made no difference as Izuku's team charged in, Kendo and Tetsutetsu took the brunt of the force. Bakugo fired off explosions to topple them but Kendo took most of the hits with her big hands and tried to slap him away.
Then the teams collided and Shiozaki tried to restrain a few of them but Mina used her acid to melt the vines. Sero tried to do the same thing but Izuku grabbed the tape and everyone watched as Izuku was now powerless.
Their judgment was wrong though since Izuku would grip the tape and pull, nearly toppling Bakugo's team. But Bakugo would have none of it and he would head straight for Izuku and fire off a point-blank explosion right in his face.
Izuku's team watched as they thought Izuku was through but when the smoke cleared Izuku held up his forearms in front of him and they took the hit. He was bleeding but he smirked and launched his arms out, grabbed Bakugo's wrists and directed his palms away as they let off explosions.
Then everyone would be shocked at the brutal nature of Izuku since he would hold his arms out and proceed to repeatedly head-butt Bakugo over and over again with a smile as blood trickled down his forehead. Sero's tape was mixed up in the conflict as he tried to pull Bakugo away.
Sero would successfully pull Bakugo away and Izuku's team would back up to get some distance. Izuku's face was covered in blood from himself and Bakugo, he would also have a dangerous grin on as well. Making many look at him in concern.
Bakugo however would be pissed as he got Sero's tape off with explosions. His nose would be bleeding along with his forehead and it would only make him angrier. He would low growl one word that only Izuku's team could hear.
"Deku…"
Izuku's teammates would go wide-eyed at the accusation Bakugo gave Izuku. They figured it was just a nickname but given what they heard about the infamous villain Deku, Izuku seemed to fit the profile.
That realization that Izuku may be Deku sent shivers down their spins. They wanted to deny it but they found it too hard to do since Deku had green hair like Izuku's and he had a brutal nature that Izuku just demonstrated before them.
Izuku would smirk and get ready to fight by putting his hands up and Bakugo would fly over in anger but Todoroki would join the battle and block Bakugo's path by sending out an ice wall.
Focusing on Izuku, Todoroki summoned all the power he had at his disposal and would send out a huge ice wall. Bakugo would destroy the previous ice wall and rocket straight for Izuku intent on blowing him sky-high.
Izuku however would lower his arms and cross them with a smirk on his face. Both boys would be confused but then they heard a loud *CRACK* and Midnight's whip would signal the end of the event.
Bakugo would face plant while in midair and Izuku would calmly stare down an ice wall that nearly hit him. Bakugo would be furious and Todoroki would be in disbelief at how he lost and he stared at his right hand.
Izuku would just be calm and then he would get off his teammates and look at them before addressing them.
"Well thank you for your help I probably could have done this myself but I appreciate your help anyways, see ya." He said while walking away from them.
"Wait!" Yelled Kendo as she looked at Izuku with fearful eyes that had determination in them. "Are you…the infamous villain Deku?"
Izuku would look down and smile at his predicament then he would signal for all three of them to follow him with a grin. They would hesitantly follow him into a vacant tunnel before Izuku would answer them.
"Alright look, you can't tell anyone about this because officially I am serving a sentence in prison. But yes I am Deku and I'm here because the principal thinks it's a good idea for me to be here since I've never killed anyone, that or he's just fucked in the head. And this situation is better than rotting in a jail cell so I chose this. They think they can fix me and turn me into a hero and I commend them on that belief but I am never going to be a hero in my life, I'd rather chew my own foot off before that happens."
The three students would gulp at the fact that an A-class villain is at school with them. And they're talking to him alone, they had no idea how to respond to his response.
But the most concerning part is that he was here as punishment which didn't exactly mean that he was happily cooperating if his tone was to be taken seriously. If anything his brutality with Bakugo showed that he was resisting their teachings and still the same brutal villain.
"Listen I'm not going to tell you my whole life story so if you want answers you can get them from somewhere just not from me. I don't give a shit what you do with the information you just found out, just make sure you're ready for the consequences. I don't care what happens, but the school might care, so do what you want."
Izuku would bid them farewell and then walk off into the tunnel leaving them speechless and concerned since they didn't know what to make of Izuku's carefree and threatening attitude towards something like this. So Tetsutetsu wanted to know what to do next.
"So do we tell the rest of the class about this? I mean this is some pretty serious shit. A villain is on our campus and we're doing nothing about it!"
"I don't think we should, I mean the teachers obviously know but what if they want to keep it secret. We should ask a teacher about it before we say anything, we should also not tell class 1-A about it since they may not know."
"No, you don't need to do that we know Izuku is Deku." A new voice would say.
The three heads from class 1-B turned with such force one would think they tried to snap their necks. But looking back they saw Todoroki standing there looking at them with his icy cold glare, then he continued.
"Everyone in class 1-A knows Izuku is Deku, he saved all of us at the USJ…We couldn't even save ourselves, and we had to rely on a villain to save us, it's pathetic."
They all shared a look that said they understood Todoroki, it must have been insulting to have been saved by a villain. But that made them more curious about Izuku and why he was here in the first place.
"I'll beat you all and I'll destroy Izuku and prove I'm stronger than him. Now I recommend you guys leave and get ready for your matches. Because if I face you I will not hold back."
The three 1-B students nodded followed the way Izuku left and they were at the exit of the tunnel. But before they left it they looked out and saw Izuku holding a little girl. He was smiling gleefully at her and she had a faint smile on as well.
Shock ran through them because they would have never thought someone as brutal as Izuku would be so kind to anyone. Except here he was being kind to a little girl, and when they saw him put her on his shoulders and walk off to go somewhere they were in disbelief.
Their curiosity about Izuku only grew and they had no idea what to make of him now but Kendo had one thought. 'Maybe he's not so bad of a guy?' But Tetsutetsu would say it out loud.
"You know for a threatening and angry guy he seems to be alright, maybe we should just warm up to him and he'll be a cool. He hasn't attacked us or done anything to us yet."
"I thank the Lord for his willingness to be put through these trials, even if they may not work on him, perhaps we'll see the fruits of his labor in time. For now, we should ask Vlad Sensei about how we should proceed."
"Good call Shiozaki we should also ask about that little girl that's with him, alright Tetsu let's go."
The three walked around trying to find their teacher, they eventually found him in the teacher's booth with Nezu and a few other teachers. So they walked in and were greeted by the other teachers with Tetsutetsu asking.
"Vlad sensei! Hi, we have something we want to ask you."
"Alright what is it you want to know?"
"Why is Izuku here at school, I mean he's a villain and all?"
A few teachers did spit takes at how they were found out, and Nezu simply laughed and took a sip of tea while watching Vlad King choke up to try and answer. But Nezu decided it would be best if he gave it.
"I don't know how you figured that out unless Izuku told you directly but it's already done. Well, Izuku is here because I and a few other teachers believe his skills can be put to good use by being a hero, even if he is resisting us. You should ask him about it if you're curious about him, he won't bite I promise, even if he is brutal and cold he still has a heart, so he says."
The three students looked at each other unsure of the answer but if Nezu was saying they should give him a chance then they would. They calmed down and then left to go get ready for the tournament, while Nezu was glad Izuku opened up if only slightly since the only thing he opened up about before were his goals and beliefs and not anything else, but this was a step in the right direction.
After the cavalry battle, some games took place while waiting for the tournament stage to be set. The start of the tournament was upon them and everyone was anxious for it.
The first match was going to be an interesting one, it was going to be between Fumikage and that purple-haired student. And people were curious to see who would come out on top.
Izuku was walking to his class's booth with Eri since she was getting tired of being with Aizawa after he just told her to take a nap. Upon walking in he was assaulted by Mina who got up close to him.
"Heya Izuku, and I see you brought the cutie Eri with you, can I spend time with her please?" Izuku just sighed then laughed a little before responding.
"I'll let you spend time with Eri if she wants to, I'm not going to force her to do anything she doesn't want to. So how about it Eri want to sit with Mina?" Eri thought about it by putting a finger to her chin then she nodded.
"Sure I'll sit with her."
Mina was practically glowing when Izuku took Eri off his shoulders and then she walked and sat down next to Mina. Then a few of the other girls started to encircle her and compliment her while talking.
Izuku just went and sat down to watch the match but a certain blonde was staring daggers at him. Sighing Izuku turned to face Bakugo who looked royally pissed off.
"What do you want Bakugo?"
"I'm going to beat you, you hear me. All you did was get lucky in the first two events. I still don't know what happened to you when you disappeared for months but it won't be enough to beat me. And you better go by and see Auntie Inko and the hag or else I'll drag you there myself nerd."
"Glad to see you haven't changed a bit, although I guess you're nicer if you want me to go see my mom and Auntie Mitsuki."
"SHUT UP LOSER! I am not nice, you're an idiot for thinking that Deku."
"Whatever man just don't do something you'd regret and I know this is something you don't want to hear but thank you for not telling everyone about our previous relationship."
"Like I need your thanks, I was just covering for your shitty ass, Deku."
"I may be a villain but I still have a heart Bakugo, there's still some kindness and mercy left in me. So take my appreciation and leave it at that."
The two sat quietly for the start of the matches, Izuku was just thinking back on all the times Bakugo bullied him and hurt him, infuriating him more. But he didn't know Bakugo was beating himself up mentally since he didn't have the balls to give an apology to Izuku about everything he did to him. And it just made him angrier at his stubbornness.
'DAMN IT! It's just one apology I can give him one, so why can't I fuckin say it to Deku, goddamn it, I'm so fuckin stupid!'
Soon the entire class's attention shifted to the match after they heard Present Mic's announcement of the commencement of the tournament.
"Alright, it's the event you've all been waiting for, we saw a crazy obstacle course and an invigorating cavalry battle! But now it's time for the tournament of power!"
"It's not called that Mic and you know that."
"I'll call it whatever I want, and refereeing the match will be Midnight, and damage control will fall to Cementoss! Now it's time for the first match. In the black corner, we have the dark abyss watcher Fumikage Tokoyami! And in the purple corner, we have the new arrival no one's heard of until now Hitoshi Shinso!"
Everyone watched as the two students walked onto the stage and faced each other. Midnight had a few words before the match started of course.
"Alright I want a good clean fight, no excessive force, and you win by knocking your opponent out, pushing them out of bounds, or by making them unable to fight. If you understand then let's get this show on the road!"
Midnight cracked her whip to signal the start of the fight, the two didn't move instead Tokoyami was sizing up Shinso while Shinso began to talk, Izuku heard bits and pieces of what Shinso was talking about by focusing his ears.
Then realization struck Izuku, he just remembered he never told Tokoyami about Shinso's quirk and he was sure he never figured it out after the cavalry battle, 'Well if he loses it's his problem, not mine.'
"It must be nice to be gifted with a flashy quirk like that."
Tokoyami simply stared at Shinso in confusion not knowing what he's up to.
"You know some of us wanted to be heroes but we don't have flashy quirks like you or we have villainous quirks. That entrance exam is geared towards people with flashy quirks so people like me never get to be heroes."
"…"
"Maybe if you were a little less gloomy you could actually manage to be a good hero instead of the fake that stands before me."
"Hold on I think you—"
Everyone watched as Tokoyami went limp while stopping his sentence short and just stood straight up and Shinso looked relieved and Izuku heard him say, "Whew, okay it's still working just like it did in the cavalry battle, but why didn't it work on him?"
Izuku just sighed since Tokoyami wasn't smart enough to figure out what was going on, although he didn't blame him since no one told him about Shinso's quirk.
He watched as Shinso ordered Tokoyami to leave the arena and he did and a confused Midnight declared Shinso the winner. Then the next match was announced as Izuku vs. Momo, so Izuku looked over to Momo who was nervous about it.
Leaving and heading to the arena he waited in his room for his name to be called, then he heard Present Mic give the introductions.
"Well after an underwhelming first fight let's see if this next one will be better! In the science corner, we have the genius prodigy Momo Yaoyorozu! And in the green corner, we have the mean green machine Izuku Midoriya!"
"Why is it mean green machine? I don't see how the machine part fits in."
"Oh Aizawa, it's because he is analytical like a machine!"
"That still doesn't make sense."
As the two teachers bantered back and forth Izuku and Momo made their way out onto the stage. Momo was still nervous about facing Izuku and the crowd cheered for her. But then Izuku came out and had drawn all the attention.
He walked out smiling at the fight, and his scar definitely didn't avert eyes from staring but then the rings on him were also a source of curiosity but he walked onto the stage ignoring all the looks he got.
"Hey Yaoyorozu looks like we're fighting, and between you and me I'd like it if you didn't hold back. Come at me with everything you got." Izuku said with his hands in his pockets and a smirk on his face.
"I appreciate your words of challenge Izuku and I hope I don't disappoint you when we fight."
Midnight looked to make sure they were ready and they both nodded, Izuku got into a fighting pose with one hand in front and the other down by his side. Momo looked ready to make a weapon and Izuku counted on it.
A crack of the whip happened and Momo instantly made a metal stick to use and a shield to go with it. Izuku just calmly approached her while staring her down guessing her next move.
As he got closer so did Momo and when he was in range the pace of the fight hit maximum, she swung at him only to have her bar and wrist caught by him. He pulled her over intent on grappling her to the floor to take her down but Momo was trained.
She quickly gave in to the pull and bashed her shield against him causing him to let go of her wrist but not her pole. She tried to pull it back but Izuku's grip on it was too strong and he pulled harder.
Having no other option than to let it go and make another, that's what Izuku capitalized on. He took her pole and used it as his weapon. Then they stared each other down again, neither wanting to make the first move.
Both charged in again with blinding speed, Momo raised her shield only to be kicked in the stomach by Izuku who then swung his weapon down. But Momo blocked the swing with her pole and tried to shield bash Izuku again but he dodged to the side and used his free hand to punch her in the side, she winced but tried not to have the punch affect her. But he went in for another punch.
She tried to swing again but Izuku intercepted the swing with a parry and then went in to knee her in the stomach. Momo put her guard up and blocked the knee and swung her weapon only to have it hit the air.
Looking down she saw Izuku crouched down and winding up to send a straight kick at her shin. She didn't have time to dodge the attack and he kicked her legs out from under her and she fell flat on the ground.
Izuku took this chance to mount and try to pin her, Momo quickly moved around and rolled to get out of the mount but Izuku's leg strength was too strong for her to get out of.
Desperately trying to get out she swung her pole and Izuku caught it, ripped it out of her grasp, and threw it away from her, he also removed her shield from her. And grabbed her wrists to keep her from moving.
She laid there unable to do anything to get away from him. He grinned and leaned down and she felt his breath on her face and she felt their chests connect and as a result, she started to blush but then he asked, "Do you yield?"
Momo fought harder then she found an answer for him, "Never!" She created a spike from her stomach that dug into Izuku's groin. He quickly jumped off and backed up while Momo removed the spike from her stomach while still blushing as Izuku held his groin.
"Ow, okay that was a cheap shot, Midnight help me out here!"
Izuku looked over to Midnight to see her a blushing mess at the scene she just saw them in. Izuku growled at her uselessness but he needed to fight more so he got into another stance.
"Okay, no more Mr. nice Izuku." He said while getting into a stance with an angered expression on.
"Wait you were being nice!?"
Izuku got low to the ground and got ready while Momo created a large staff to have the reach advantage. Then Izuku charged in with his fist cocked back ready to throw it out.
But he was stopped by a wide swing from Momo's staff and he leaned back to dodge, then he had to move side to side to dodge her poking attempts. Using her reach to his advantage he moved in and pressured her to move back.
Continuing to put pressure on her, he dodged and ducked to avoid her attack but when he wasn't paying attention he got a hit to the side of the head. He toppled back trying to correct himself but Momo wouldn't let him fix himself and swung at him again.
He put his arm up to guard and it hit his side and he keeled over, bringing his arms down he trapped her staff and swung his arm down to break it shocking Momo, he took this chance to lunge at her. Getting up close again Momo tried to punch him but he parried and instead winded up and sent a punch out himself.
A powerful impact with some weight behind it hit her chest between her breasts and she was sent flying back a few meters. Gasping from the attack she continued to swing her staff to keep Izuku back and away from her.
And with her not paying attention she nearly walked out of bounds but Izuku wouldn't allow that. He rushed in faster than before impressing the audience and just before Momo could step out he grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder.
She hit the ground with a thud and got the wind knocked out of her, Izuku then put her into an armbar while on the floor. She tried to get out but Izuku was pulling back threatening to break her arm.
"Yield already Yaoyorozu, I'm not allowed to use excessive and brutal force so just yield."
With untiring determination, she tried to create another spike on her arm to get Izuku to let go but he already thought ahead. He let go but instantly shot over to her and aggressively flipped her over.
Putting his arms around her neck he put her in a headlock and began choking her to knock her out. He heard boos coming from the audience but he didn't care about them. Then he felt Momo struggle for air and claw at his scarred arms scratching them before she went limp, amazingly Izuku noticed her cheeks were red and he raised an eyebrow at that.
Letting go she fell over knocked out and Midnight called the match as Izuku's win, "Izuku Midoriya wins by knockout."
Breathing a sigh of relief he picked Momo up and slung her over his shoulder and took her to Recovery Girl so she could rest. As he walked away he heard boos coming from the audience saying he was too violent, he was about to tell them off but Aizawa did that for him.
"For those of you booing Izuku I want you to think about the fight, it was a hand-to-hand fight and Izuku was at the disadvantage because he can't make anything he wishes. So he had to get serious and face her without underestimating her. For those of you who don't understand that then how can you call yourselves heroes?"
Smirking at how that shut those booing losers up he continued to Recovery Girl not caring about the next match with Todoroki vs. Sero. And he was right to not care about the match because Todoroki ended it with a giant glacier that had Sero in it.
In Recovery Girl's office, he got an earful at how he could have seriously hurt Momo by choking her out but he ignored her and she healed him since she was sure he got a brain injury.
While in Recovery Girl's office he watched the next fight between Ida and Mei. Although he was laughing his ass off at how it wasn't even a fight since Mei used it as an ad and then stepped out of bounds. He laughed so loud he ended up getting hit in the head by Recovery Girl shouting for him to be quiet.
His laughter ended up waking up Momo who rubbed her neck and felt a bit light-headed. Izuku noticed and greeted her.
"Good morning beautiful, did you have a good rest?"
"Izuku? Where am I?"
"We're in Recovery Girl's office, I choked you till you passed out, and then I brought you here."
"Wait you knocked me out? And then carried me here?"
"Yeah that was the only way to end the match without hurting you too badly, but you put up a good fight. I had to get a bit serious in the end to win, so be proud of yourself."
Momo went red at the fact he had to choke her out so he could win then he carried her here. He was so close to her and pressing into her during the match, they were close enough at one point for her to feel his breath on her and she got redder. 'Why am I so embarrassed about it, we were just fighting, I mean it's not like I didn't like him being that close to me…What am I saying?'
Izuku having had enough of Recovery Girl telling him to leave finally left with a red Momo following him. They made it back to the 1-A booth just in time to see the next match.
The girls complimented Momo for her efforts while Mineta got punched in the face and sent flying into a wall for talking to Izuku. Everyone looked over to see a pissed-off Izuku with his fist extended out.
"What I hate perverts, and as far as I'm concerned he's sub-human."
They all shrugged and sat down while Eri walked over and sat next to Izuku leaning on him while excitedly telling him how good he was.
"You were so good Izuku, I knew you could win!" Izuku grinned down at her.
"I know Eri and it was a good fight, Momo did well too so compliment her as well"
Eri nodded and got comfortable with him while everyone watched the stern expression on Izuku shift to a soft one. They still didn't know a lot about Izuku but they did know he was an okay guy, even if he was a ranked villain. He grinned slightly at Eri and watched the next match with bored interest.
The next match was between Shiozaki and Kaminari. No surprise that Shiozaki won, Kaminari entered the fight stupid and he left the fight as a fried dumbass since he has no grasp on the concept of control.
After that was the match between Mina and Aoyama and Izuku liked how it ended because Mina got up close and uppercut Aoyama into the next plane of existence. So a smile could be seen on his face at the end.
Then when Mina came back up to her class Izuku was the first one to give her compliments on her fight.
"Good job Mina, I liked the uppercut at the end there, a really nice touch."
Mina started to blush a bit at the compliment from Izuku since he never really gave out compliments. She did have to admit he was smoking hot to her even if he was scarred, scary, and intimidating, plus she may or may not have a crush on him. The next match was between Kirishima and Tetsutetsu.
Izuku grinned while the match went on because they were so alike it was ironic and then the match ended with a double knock out which just made a few people laugh including Izuku.
Once those two woke up the tiebreaker was an arm-wrestling match and they were evenly matched, again. Izuku laughed again but in the end, Kirishima won the match and he offered a hand to help Tetsutetsu up, Izuku chuckled because that was such a Kirishima move.
"Well, would you look at that display of sportsmanship people! Looks like Kirishima was the tougher one in this fight but still, what a MANLY display of power!"
"Would you shut up Mic, now announce the next match."
"You got it. For our final first-round match we have the two sister hero classes clashing once more! In the red corner, we have the girl who could slap through steel Itsuka Kendo! And in the blonde corner, we have a guy whose explosions are just as bad as his attitude…"
"I HEARD THAT YOU MICROPHONE LOSER!" Bakugo somehow shouted over the entire PA system and the audience.
"Give it up for Katsuki Bakugo!"
The two fighters moved onto the stage and stared each other down but before Midnight could start the match Bakugo had something to say.
"Just so you know, I'm not going to hold back, whatever happens to you is your own damn fault."
"Thanks for the heads up, I hope you don't give up on me."
Bakugo growled while Kendo got into a fighting stance, Midnight got the confirmation to go ahead and start. Her whip cracked and Kendo rushed in to try and crush Bakugo who just stood there waiting for her.
Right as Kendo got close she brought her hand up and made a giant fist and brought it down. Only to have it deflected by an explosion aimed at her chest which pushed her back. She skidded to a stop with her sleeve missing.
Bakugo still stood there with a serious expression on staring at Kendo, she looked at him trying to find a plan to get past his overwhelming offense and hit him. She reduced her hands' size and rushed in again this time attempting to go behind him.
As she got close Bakugo let off some explosions aimed at her but she dodged to the side of them getting closer. Bakugo growled in frustration at how she was getting closer but he never expected her to duck and get this close.
Then she brought her fist right in front of his stomach and grew it. The force from her fist growing in size was enough to send Bakugo flying to the point where he had to use his explosions to stop himself from going out of bounds.
Looking up he saw Kendo coming after him she swung her arm and her fist was gigantic as she side-swiped him. He flew once more but used his explosions to control himself and land. Again Kendo was coming for him but he held up his hands and yelled out, "Flashbang!"
A blinding light was let off in front of Kendo and she couldn't see and Bakugo took this chance to get up close and start using explosions to take her down. He encircled her as he let off explosion after explosion.
She started to tumble and she sent a big fist punch at Bakugo who used his explosions to fly over her while still attacking her. Bakugo continued his assault while Kendo could do nothing but defend with her enlarged hands.
Then she got the upper hand as Bakugo flew up again and Kendo held her arm up then enlarged her hands and swung down. She hit Bakugo and slammed him to the floor and he bounced up which let Kendo kick him away.
He skidded to a stop and then glared at her. Both of them had damage but Kendo had more since her undershirt was showing after her uniform got blown to shreds. Soon they charged at one another deciding to put their all into this next attack to end it.
Kendo had grabbed some of the debris from the stage and held it in her hand and threw them at Bakugo as she ran. Bakugo blew them up as they came towards him.
Soon they met in the middle and Kendo put all her power into this punch while Bakugo stopped and put his hands together at the wrists and let off a massive explosion that shook the stadium.
Izuku laughed at the chaos and destruction it was causing because he missed scenes like this which he didn't get anymore because he was trapped here at UA. But looking down into the smoke expecting to see both of them out instead he saw both of them in.
Bakugo had put his hands behind him to slow himself from going out and Kendo had smashed up the ground to have something to grab onto. Both were panting and both were bleeding to some degree.
This was a battle that both sides refused to lose, and Izuku had to give them credit for their undying spirit but it would end with one of them out. Bakugo summoning the last of his available strength yelled out and dashed towards Kendo with an explosion.
In a mad dash for a victory he was right in front of Kendo and he simply just punched her in the gut then she fell back and out of bounds. He stood triumphantly over her as Midnight declared his victory.
"WOW, what a battle, both sides fought hard and I gotta say that was awesome!"
"Indeed it was. Both sides tried their hardest to win and no one underestimated the other. In the end, Bakugo won because he was faster to recover."
That battle marked the end of the first round and Izuku was excited because now he gets to fight Shinso and defeat him the only way he knows how, brutal victory.
"I'm right here Shinso, so show me what you're made of," Izuku said with a terrifying smile coming onto his face.
