Author's Note: Surprise I'm back! So yeah it's been a bit over 11 years since I last did an update but I never forgot about this story I started. Anyway I hope you enjoy.

Everything hurt in Harry's body. As he began to gain consciousness, Harry could tell Herminone was in trouble as well but his own pain was making it difficult to figure out what was going on.
A loud crash startled Harry. He heard a groan that sounded like Mr. Granger, which didn't make sense to Harry. He was still in the Dursley's house the last he remembered. Trying to open both eyes was a mistake, his left eye was damaged he could tell. Harry could feel the air changing around him, unknown to him at the time it was the spells that Kingsley and Alastor were hurling at Hermione.
A jolt of adrenaline rushed through Harry when he heard Hermione shout his name clearly in his head. With that yell of help from Hermione, it was as if all the pain was suddenly secondary and Harry was able to open his eyes again.
Little did Harry know that opening his eyes would change everything in his world forever. Time slowed for Harry the second time this evening. Nothing could have prepared him to see Hermione hit with a spell that caused her to be thrown through the air slowly rotating.
Harry watched trying to move his arms to do something, anything, to prevent Hermione from flying through the air, but his body wasn't listening to him. For a microsecond Harry was grateful for the recliner that looked like it was going to catch Hermione but just as soon as the hope came it was replaced with object horror as Hermione kept flying like a ragdoll through the recliner.
Harry's skin and veins started to surge with power as he watched helplessly as Hermione collide with the wall that was behind the recliner. The sound Hermione's body made when she suddenly stopped against the wall would haunt Harry for the rest of his life. However what terrified Harry even worse was the fact for the first time since meeting Hermione, he couldn't feel her presence anywhere. He had never noticed her presence before but the absence was deafening.
As Hermione's body finally laid still, it felt to Harry as if his body was finally free. Immediately Harry was standing next to his Hermione with a tidal wave of emotions and raw magical power coursing through him. He knew, though not directly his fault, he was the reason for the pain that Hermione and her parents were currently in. The thought ate Harry's very soul.
Harry didn't know how but he was going to fix this. He was going to do anything he had to in order to prevent this from happening, even if he had to change time itself. Turning to the wizards that had assaulted Hermione and the Grangers, Harry felt nothing but the raw magic power that was coursing through him and he was determined to change what had happened tonight, even if it meant destroying himself to do it.
The emptiness he felt from the absence of Hermione just fueled Harry's determination even more as he moved towards the wizards responsible for everything in the Granger's house. With magic radiating off his body, Harry felt his hair moving on it's own as well as his wounds both opening more and yet at the same time helping him focus even more. Not knowing what he was doing, Harry acted off of instinct, shoving both of hands forward sending a wave of pure magical energy radiating out from his body.
Everything turned white immediately after, the magical wave erasing everything it touched. Harry had just erased time.
May 4, 1991 8:18pm Dumbledore's Office Hogwarts
Dumbledore was sitting in his office working on his graduation speech when he felt the oddest sensation of deja vu. Instinct told him to look at his fireplace which he did.
After looking at the fireplace for a minute, he turned back to Fawkes wondering what had happened. However his faithful companion was sleeping peacefully. Something felt off but even the phoenix had not shifted in his slumber.
With everything appearing to be as it should be, Dumbledore brushed the sensation of deja vu away and went back to working on his speech for the upcoming graduation ceremony.
May 4, 1991 8:10pm Granger Residence
Hermione felt a surge of something, unbeknownst to her it was magic, coursing through her body to the point that she suddenly felt like her blood was boiling. Jumping off the couch from the sensation and screaming, Hermione scared both her parents and herself.
"Hermione, what is it?" asked her mother worried about her daughter. At the same time Dan was getting up off the couch to walk to his daughter when whatever was happening with Hermione stopped as suddenly as it had started. Seeing his daughter now fine made him stop in his tracks.
Hermione looked around and then down at her arms and body trying to figure out what had happened. For a moment she felt as if her insides were burning and the next moment her body felt normal.
Turning to her concerned parents, Hermione said "I don't know, it felt like my blood was boiling and now I feel fine. Is that normal?" Dan, never one to be too serious, just responded "Hermione as much as we love you, you will never be normal."
Hermione had to stifle laughter as she watched her mother smack her father on the back of his head as Helen got off the couch to check on her daughter. "Dan I swear there are times I seriously question why I married you."
With everything seemingly back to normal Hermione was about to sit back on the couch with her parents when she could feel Harry's presence. Before Hermione had time to process this new sensation, she heard the front door bell ring.
"I'll get the door," Hermione told her parents as she walked towards the front door. For a reason she could not yet explain she felt Harry was the person at the door.
Opening the door, Hermione wasn't prepared for the sight before her.
"Harry?"
Author's Note: Yeah another cliff hanger and this time I promise it won't be 11 years before another update. Please let me know what you think. I'm already working on the next chapter. I felt this was a good place to stop and let me figure out what I want to do next. I honestly can't remember where I wanted to take this story 11 years ago but I know I wanted to continue what I started.
Also thank you to everyone that has left reviews over the years. I had to work to get access back to my account and just recently have access again. I'm blown away by everyone that left reviews over the last 11 years, thank you so much.
