Yeah, I did kind of upload a lot at once, I'm trying to stay a few chapters ahead so if something happens and I cant write that day or I just get busy i have something to release so you guys aren't waiting too long.
Sasuke worked into the night, he stayed in his office, Ino was right by his side as they went through all the files Sasuke managed to get his hands on, "Do you think we should show her some of these?"
Ino looked over at Sasuke, "Probably, but is there a chance she knows more than she's letting on?"
Ino shook her head, "Sakura use to make a game out of finding her parents hiding spots, she never really read what was in the files. She knew her father was doing something bad, but she was always too afraid to look."
Ino set down one of the papers she was reading and looked back Sasuke, "She told her dad she found on of his hiding spots and he beat her relentlessly, he didn't stop under her mother intervened, she didn't come to school for a almost two weeks because the bruising was so bad."
"I think I remember her not being there, Naruto was concerned but then she just showed up like nothing ever happened." Sasuke never would have guess such a happy girl would have such a trouble childhood.
"Her father was awful, he did it more than once but after that she would try and find his hiding spots knowing that if he ever found he would be so mad." Ino laughed lightly, "It was her way of getting back at him, she would do it because she could."
"Look at this." Sasuke found a bank statement with Sakura's name on it, his computer screen lit up, "I think they're using this to keep access to their money, it's a savings account, more like trust fund left to Sakura from her grandparents. It was the only source of income they didn't take."
"She's been living in a shitty run down apartment because that was all she could afford, there's no way she knew about this." Ino was shocked, "They've been using her trust fun money to support themselves."
"It can also come back on Sakura, they're setting her up. They want it to look like she's been sending them money, when they're really in control of the accounts." Ino looked over at his screen, he was logged in and looking through the transactions.
"How did you get the information?" He smirked and pulled her into his lap, kissing her lightly while holding onto her waist.
"I have to keep some secrets." she smiled and hugged him, his white collared shirt was unbuttoned, his tie was off and his was messy.
"Thank you for doing this." She kissed him, he kissed her back, this went on for a few minutes before they broke apart. She got up and straightened out her skirt and went back to reading the file, his dark eyes soaked her in.
He missed her, he never wanted to leave Ino. She was the polar opposite of him, she was warm, happy and inviting. People loved to be around her, her attitude kept people in check and he loved it when she would put someone in their place. She was strong but gentle, she cared about him, she's always loved him even when he was struggling with his own demons, she never left his side.
They were afraid long distance would ruin their relationship so they called off, he never looked at anyone else, he just counted down the days until he could come back to her. Afraid she didn't wait for him, he almost didn't look for her at the party but his eyes automatically landed on her the moment she showed up.
Her long blond hair was tied into a braid, her curves looked better than he remembered and her blue eyes sucked him in, that's all it took for him to be memorized, just one smile from her and he was putting in her hands.
"What are you thinking about?" She caught him staring.
"You, and how much I've missed you over the years." Her eyes widened slightly, he was never one to openly talk about his feelings, "It seems I've caught you off gaurd."
"Kind of, I thought you would have moved on." She set the files down, "You were gone for so long, I was starting to think you would never come back, we both got so busy with our careers and we lost contact."
"I'm sorry for that, I should've kept in touch with you." She shook her head and smiled.
"It goes both ways, I didn't keep the line of communication open." grabbing her once again he pulled her into his lap, but this time he wrapped her in his arms, she fit perfectly, she was the missing puzzle piece he's been looking for.
"We might have to call it a night, I'll relay everything to Naruto in the morning, why don't you go home and I'll be there shortly." She nodded, she was starting to feel the sleepiness creeping up.
She walked out of his office, he went back to the bank statements and started to print things off, putting everything back in a safe place he locked the drawer he kept it in and then locked his office on the way out, he kept his eyes and ears open as he walked through the dark building. Everyone had gone home except for him, he was use to walking the dark halls of the building but he wasn't going home after a simple work day, he's been poking around in something a little bigger than that.
Ino texted him when she got home, he checked the camera's around the house before leaving, almost to his car he heard tires screech. Moving quickly he dove to the front of his car and unlocked it quickly, once inside he started his car and called Naruto.
"How fast do you think you can get to the office?" Sasuke's voice was slightly panicked as a white van blocked his car in.
"Less than three minutes, is something wrong?" He could hear Naruto already in his car.
"I'm blocked in, I think I found something I wasn't supposed to about Sakura's parents." Men started to file out of the van, they pulled on the door handles and banged on the windows trying to get to Sasuke.
"Stay there." the line went dead.
"Where the fuck am I going to go?" He asked out loud, he had a gun in the glove box but the moment one of these windows break, he'd be in even more trouble. There was too many to take out with a single handgun.
Their heads whipped around as black car came crashing into their van, tired squealed as the car started to push the van out of the way, the brush guard protecting the front of the car from most of the damage, once the van was moved Sasuke threw his car in reverse and pulled out of the spot.
Followed by Naruto and the van, his phone rang, Naruto's voice boomed over the speakers in his car.
"How far do you think they'll follow us, I can have some guys ready by the docks in about five minutes." Naruto was the man with the connects when it came to needing people with brute strength, most of them were from military background, "It's your call, what do you want to do?"
"Lead them to the dock." Sasuke and Naruto sped through the streets, the van not far behind. Flying through the red light district they finally made it to the docks. Turning around the pulled up next to each other and parked.
Getting out they stood in front of their cars, Naruto was in jeans and a plain black t-shirt and a black hat. His pistol strapped to his side in it's holster. Sasuke stood next him with his pistol tucked in the waistband of his pants, the van screech to a holt in front of them, six men filed out and stood across from the two.
"It's looks like they lost a few people along the way, I've sent two guys to your house to protect Ino." Sasuke looked at Naruto out of the corner of his eye and smirked.
"I texted her and told her to get in the panic room, where is Sakura." Naruto grinned.
"She's in the panic room as well, with two men standing in the room." They knew that the moment they started to lead these men away that they were going to try and go after the girls.
"You should know I have men on their way to your houses right now, you will give me what I want." The masked man stood in front of them gun pointed at Naruto.
"So predictable, you act like we didn't know that's what you would do." He smiled as a red dot appeared on his chest, slowly another popped up, "You fell into a trap."
"So, instead, you're going to tell me what I want to know." Sasuke stepped forward and grabbed the gun from the mans hands, unloading it and removing the clip he dropped the pieces on the ground.
"You fuckers think you're invincible, act like no one can touch but that's all about change." Sasuke looked at Naruto and nodded, a fight broke out on the docks, soon the men were bound, the boys walked away with a few bumps and bruises.
"Again, you're going to tell me what I want to know." Sasuke grabbed the masked and pulled the mask off, he was nothing but a repeat criminal, his picture popped up a few times in the files. He worked for the Haruno's a lot, "Why did you come after me?"
"They have that bank account monitored, so when you logged in they were alerted. They called us to come and deal with you." The man spite blood of out his mouth as he spoke, "You might want to take a look at who you're protecting, she knows more than what she's telling you."
"What are you talking about?" Naruto stepped forward, looking down at the man.
"She has played you both for fools, why would the world hate her so much if she was just the daughter of Kizashi Haruno?" He laughed while the boys exchanged looks, "It was her idea to give them patients fake pills! She helped them move money around, she helped them hide their dirty little secrets, that bitch is just as bad as her parents."
Naruto lost his temper when he called Sakura a bitch, before he could think his connected with the mans jaw sending him to the ground.
"Watch your mouth." Naruto spat and walked away.
