Chapter 6- Life in Hogwarts
The Black sisters watched as Snape insulted their family. They really wanted to tear Snape for daring to insult the Potter name. Their grandmother is a Potter and even though they are Blacks, the Potters love them as their own daughters, especially their aunt Dorea. Apparently it was not required as they saw Snape being thrown back. They saw the thunderbird that Katie was talking about and they were intrigued.
When Snape started to rant and rave again, Bellatrix decided to hex him to the next century and was about to do so. But it was not required.
Everything changed suddenly when they heard a deep voice.
Narcissa and Bellatrix felt chills go up their spines when they heard that voice.
They watched in fascination and shock when Harry arrived.
Bellatrix watched the new arrival with interest in her eyes. 'Merlin he is handsome', she thought. His combination of messy and silky hair made her yearn for the feel of running her fingers through those locks.
He was fit, extremely so. She licked her lips imagining what he would look like shirtless. Her breathing became laboured. The man seemed to radiate power. His eyes were dancing with a bright green glow . She thought she could get lost in those damn eyes.
Next to Bellatrix, Narcissa Black was having the same thoughts.
' How I wish to run my fingers through those locks.' she thought. Narcissa had never seen anyone so handsome in her life. She started to moisten in her nether region thinking about herself being wrapped around his strong arms.
Both the sisters were broken from their thoughts by an amused Andromeda, who was giving both her sisters a cheeky grin.
" So,do you approve of our cousin??" she asked with a wicked smirk.
The two Blacks blushed brilliantly.
"Shut up Andi!!!" Cissy hissed.
"Oh! I am writing to Aunt Dorea and Uncle Charlus about this" said Andromeda with a gleeful smile.
Bellatrix and Narcissa looked in horror at Andi.
" We weren't thinking anything Andi. We swear" she said with Narcissa nodding her head. " I was thinking of getting to know him. He is our cousin afterall."said Narcissa.
"Oh it's alright. He is gorgeous, scary and very powerful according to what I have seen" said Andi.
" We will speak to him tomorrow then."
" Ahh!! Narcissa" came a silky voice that Cissy hated.
"Lucius!!" she hissed back in venom.
" Hello Lucy, Rudy. I am really happy to see the pair of you" she replied sarcastically.
" Now my dear. You shouldn't speak to the one you will be marrying in the future like that. That is very unbecoming of a future Lady Malfoy." Lucius said with a smile on his face.
" You too Bellatrix. The future Lady Lestrange must behave to the namesake." said another voice . Bellatrix narrowed her eyes and looked towards Rudolphus Lestrange.
" Yeah,we will worry about that in the future. You better not spread false news around, that we are betrothed. My grandfather and grand uncle would be very displeased with that." She said with an icy tone.
" Very soon ladies. Very soon" Malfoy said and walked away with Rudolphus.
" I hate that bastard!!" growled Narcissa.
" Don't worry Cissy. Grandfather would never allow that to happen." assured Andromeda, with Bella's agreement to the statement although Bella looked a bit unnerved.
Cissy took hold of Bella's hand and gave a reassuring squeeze.
Both of them looked at the Gryffindor table to look at their cousins and one particular person in particular.
'Things are definitely going to be interesting' mused Cissy.

At the Gryffindor table things were different.
" You really know how to make an entrance Harry." James said.
" What can I say?? I am Hadrian Potter." James rolled his eyes at Harry and grinned. " So where is that mangy mutt infecting students with fleas??"He questioned, though there was a hint of mischief in his eyes.
" Oi!!! I will have you know now that I am the dog of the rarest and prodigious breed", said Sirius with mock outrage.
There was a round of laughter." It's good to see you again Sirius".
Sirius smiled and shook his hands. " You too Harry. Thank you though. James informed me of what you told him. Now that I think about it , you were right. Thanks Harry."
" No problem Sirius. My family is and is always my first preference. I grew up away from my home for the past eleven years. I know what it is like to not have a family. If anybody even dares to ridicule my family, they will be six feet under the ground." Harry replied.
" Trust me when I say this. That bloke got off easily. People who have dared to get on my bad side are all in conditions worse than what he got. Many have not even recovered from what I have put them through. This will teach him to speak ill of great families."
Harry replied with steel in his voice.
The others around him including the other house tables shuddered . A few of them blanched and looked away.
The dinner continued with discussions and small talks. Harry was introduced to Remus, Peter ,Frank ,Alice and Lily.
They all hit off instantly.
Remus was as he remembered.
Peter was different. He was less outgoing but was a good person.
Alice was a bundle of joy. Frank was a friend that everyone needs to have. He was very witty and intelligent.
Then there was Lily. She was different and yet so good in the group. She was frighteningly intelligent. Very intuitive.
" So Harry , care to tell us where you were all these years??" Asked Lily.
" Ahh you know, here one day and another place the other day. Travelling. Learning, practicing and so on." He replied.
" Who were your mentors?" asked a curious Frank.
" That, I don't know if I am allowed to say. But I will make sure that you will know sooner or later." he assured them.
" What are your favourite subjects Harry??" asked Lily .
" Ah I don't have favourites in particular. Magic in general is my strong point. Anything and everything that is affirmative to me, I enjoy learning that."
"What do you mean by that?" Asked Peter
"For me, magic is not a source of power or entertainment or a way of life.
For me, it is a gift. A gift not all are privileged to receive. Lots of people, purebloods for example, know magic as a means of being above others. They think that just because they have magic they are above others.
Half Bloods are most of the time indifferent to it and it depends on how they grow up.
But it's the mundane born that I am hugely disappointed in. They are outsiders who come into a different world. Yes I know it will be overwhelming, but they treat magic as a science. A means to research. They don't enjoy the gift. They just want to come and learn every single thing and do it and get lost.
They don't respect magic. They won't understand the very feeling of magic. They just don't get it.
But me and that gentleman sitting in the head chair. We feel magic. You feel closely around you, and you will be able to sense magic. It has life to it. There is a sense of satisfaction you have. We are in awe of a levitation spell to a patronus charm. People like Dumbledore, Grindelwald or Voldemort", the people around him gasped and shivered and looked around, in fear.
Harry rolled his eyes but continued, " they have excellent grasp over magic in general. Not a particular branch. Yes they do have strong branches. But that's because of affinity. Headmaster is an excellent battle transfiguration master,as well as a renowned Alchemist. Grindelwald was an excellent user of charms in battle along with curses and so is our charms master professor Flitwick.
So yes I like magic in general, not a particular subject. But if you are asking affinity based, then I favour Battle magicks. Battle transfiguration, battle charms and dark arts and its defences along with spell crafting."
The students around Harry were deep in thought. " Think about what I said. Think where you fit in this category. There is always more to my theory than it meets the eye. Think carefully. Frank the password please." Frank whispered the password. Harry nodded at everyone, turned towards the head table and nodded to the headmaster and walked out.
" He really is something isn't he??" asked Sirius softly.
James nodded. " I had never seen a person as passionate and intelligent as him. He is just amazing. I had never said this to anyone, not even to my parents but if Harry asks me to jump from the astronomy tower. I will just do it. I trust him with my life and I am damn proud and lucky to have him as my brother."
" Yes," Katie replied, along with James. " You will be seeing more of him and the best of him. Gain his loyalty guys, he will carry you to the ends of the world. He worships mum and dad you know. He dotes on us. Never say no to us. Growing away from the family might have brought in so much loyalty to him, but I won't have him any other way."
The others nodded deep in thought with what their new friend had told them today.

Unknown to them, the entire staff had heard Harry's little chat.
Dumbledore was shocked that someone so young had such a good understanding of magic. According to him, every single word Harry said was true. He didn't understand why people treat magic as a common daily phenomenon. His eyes were twinkling madly with happiness when Harry mentioned himself, Gellert and Tom. Such intuition at his young age.
Of course the boy was a Potter after all. And every Potter to have walked through these walls has become something special. Adding the fact that the boy revived the Peverell line, he must be damn special.
He will monitor and see the progress the boy made. He was happy that someone shared his beliefs.
" Isn't it amazing that someone so young can be so understanding and at the same time utterly terrifying, Albus??''Questioned his deputy Minerva McGonagall. '' Yes Minerva. The boy seems special. He is Charlus's son after all. Of course he would be something." said Filius Flitwick.
" Well he is an intelligent young man. His power levels rival the best. He has the grace and I think he also has the ability to back his opinion. We need people like him, Minerva. They are the ones that carry on the world when it becomes tough." Albus said pointing towards where Harry exited from.

Harry woke up at five in the morning. He made his way to the grounds for his morning workout.
Harry contemplated everything that happened yesterday. He had made sure that people would know to not cross him again. They will now think better than to attack my family name.
He had sown seeds of doubts into the minds of his friends regarding their thoughts on magic and their attitudes towards it.
He had a big gamble on this matter. He wanted all those people who lost their lives to be more alert, careful and more able. He had sworn that he would protect innocent life and he would do it.
He started to run around the perimeter of the Black lake, in quiet contemplation about the things to come in the future. After running ten laps around the lake, he completed five sets of fifty push ups, hundred sit ups, fifty pull ups and three hundred skip rope jumps.
Then he conjured a punching bag and leviated it to a tree branch and hanged it to it. He started punching the bag with high accuracy as well as sideways kicks and twisting kicks to it. After half an hour of continuous punching practice he did three sets of crunches and planks.
He was totally drenched . His hair was flowing freely, without its confines. Harry liked to let his hair loose while fighting and training. It gives some sort of freedom.
He finished and vanished the bag and then moved towards the castle.
He was still in the hang of his workouts that he didn't notice a figure coming in the opposite direction.
Narcissa was not an early riser. She woke up grumbling and complaining, when she was woken up rudely by Bellatrix who pushed her out of the bed and threatened to spray water over her.
She sent her sisters ahead and got ready now and left for the Great hall.
She was walking in thought when she crashed into a wall and fell down. " Oh shit!!!" She cursed." Bloody damn wall…..", her eyebrows disappeared to the top of her head and her eyes went wide. She turned deep red when she saw that the person opposite her was Harry.
" Oh! I'm sorry Miss Black . I didn't see you there. Sir very irresponsible of me." He gave a charming smile and held out his hand for her to hold.
Harry had never been the one to think about opposite sex but this lady in front of him was a goddess. She was extremely beautiful. Her high cheekbones, delicate eyebrows and her soft features with the Black aristocratic looks, and her icy blue eyes. Her blush made her look all the more beautiful, and he didn't know that was possible.
Narcissa watched as Harry offered his hand. She took hold of it and the touch sent tingles down her back.
She saw him properly after helping herself up and saw that he was drenched. His shirt was sticking to his stomach and she could see the traces of his six packs. She could see the clear cut bulge of his muscles and felt herself blushing more and more with each passing second.
" Thank you Lord Peverell, it was very kind of you. " " Now none of that my lady. You are my family miss Black. You of all people have that right." Harry replied kindly with a smile.
Narcissa gave a cute smile. " Thank you Harry. You can call me Cissy. I am happy to see you after so many years."
" I can do that Cissy. See you around. And umm.. you are looking really beautiful", he blushed but hid it well with his occlumency though there was a red hue on his cheek.
Narcissa's cheeks turned even more red if it was possible. She waved back at him when he waved and moved towards the great hall still blushing.
She came to the hall and joined her sisters. " What happened Cissy and why are you looking flustered??" Bella asked, noticing her still red face.
"N.. nothing Bella " she replied and started to eat. Andi and Bella shared a look and shrugged.
Bellatrix had forgotten to get her backpack. She excused herself and went to get it. She was walking towards the dungeons when she bumped into her cousin.
Her breath caught in her chest. She felt heat on her cheeks. Harry looked more handsome than yesterday. He looked at her and smiled his charming smile.
"Hello Miss Black. Well you are looking lovely today. You sisters really are too beautiful for your own good." He said with a dramatic sigh.
Bellatrix went wide eyed at his declaration and her pale skin became blood red.
She blushed heavily under his praise.
" Thank you Lord Peverell. You are too kind."
"None of that Miss Black. We are family . You more than have the right to call me Harry or Hadrian."
"Thanks Harry . You must call me Bella though", she told him with a shy smile.
"Well why don't you and your sisters join me for breakfast sometime??" he asked her.
" I don't want to intrude on Harry." "Please Bella. The last thing you are doing is intruding. Join me at your own time will you??", He questioned with a grin.
"Alright Harry. I'll join you soon"
She then returned and left wherever she was going.
Harry reached the great hall and made his way towards his friends after waving to Cissy who blushed red and looked away.
" Morning guys."
"Morning Harry " they replied in unison.
Harry started his breakfast. They then fell into conversation.
Minerva McGonagall, the head of Gryffindor house, made her way over and started to distribute their class schedules.
" Lord Peverell, it is a pleasure to meet you". She said respectfully. " Likewise madam. I heard a great deal about you from those two brats there." " Oi!!!" Came the shout from his brother and sister to which the others just chuckled.
" And none of this lord stuff. I demand that you treat me like any other student. It wouldn't do well to take preferential treatment."
She gave him a rare smile. " Of course Mr Potter."
"Well we have charms first. Let's go" shouted Lily.
" For Merlin's sake Lil. Wait for us too" replied Alice with a shake of her head.
They entered the classroom of Professor Flitwick. They were to share this class with the Hufflepuffs.
"Good morning class. Welcome to your owl year charms class. This year will be particularly difficult but we expect you to do well with effort.
Headmaster Dumbledore has decided that the class will be grouped together so that we can work with students from different houses."
Everybody started to pair up and Harry was paired with a pretty redhead, with a cute smile and bright blue eyes.
" Hello Mr Potter. My name is Amelia Bones." the girl introduced herself.
" Miss Bones, a pleasure. Do call me Harry. We will be working together anyway."
" Then you must call me Amelia," she told him with a kind smile.
" Alright class, today we will be learning the summoning and banishing charm." Flitwick started to explain the theory and wand movements.
Amelia was listening with rapt attention. She started to perform the spell. But without success. She was starting to feel disheartened.
"You are giving it too much thought Amelia. Take a deep breath yeah??" She nodded. " Now remember the theory. Visualization is the key. When you are incanting, will your magic and visualize what you want and cast.
Can you do that??" Harry questioned.
Amelia nodded. She took a breath and after some time, she cast the spell. The book zoomed into her hand. She was surprised. Her face broke into a huge grin and Harry felt happy seeing a smile on her face. Amelia gave a huge hug to Harry and thanked him which he played off.
After that they discussed its application and the rest of their time, they spent by teaching others.
" Thanks again Harry. I will see you again in the next class."
"See you around Amelia," he said, waving his hand.
" So, Harry old chap. You were looking all chummy with Miss Bones. Is it time for wedding bells??"asked James with a mischievous smile supported by The other Marauders.
Harry shook his head. " She is a really beautiful woman. But I don't think there is anything between us. She will be a great friend to have. I don't want to lead her on and do something we'll regret."
"What kind of girls do you like Harry?" Asked Lily with a cheeky smile.
All talks and noises stopped and they were all looking at Harry. He groaned and moved away at a brisk pace. The others followed him, laughing at his plight.
They had defence with the Slytherins next. They were waiting for the door to open. Harry and his friends were joined by The Black sisters.
"Hello Cissy, Bella." He smiled at the sisters.
" Forgive me lord Peverell, but I didn't know you were familiar with my sisters."
" No miss Black. I met both of them in the morning. And you can call me Harry Miss Black. We are family after all.''Harry replied.
" Then you must call me Andi, Harry."
The door opened and they all went in.
"Good morning class. I am Professor Hamish Watson. I will be teaching you DADA for the next year.
This will be your OWL year. So we will be working very hard. But with enough effort, it will be a walk in the park. You will be paired with the other house and that will be the theme for the entire year."
Harry was paired with Bellatrix and Narcissa.
James and Peter were paired with Lily and Elena Rosier.
Remus and Sirius were paired with Andromeda and Theodore Nott.
Frank and Alice were paired with Snape and Marlene McKinnon who was absent due to personal reasons.
" Hello Harry." Said Bellatrix. " Hey Bella, Cissy," Harry replied with a smile.
They started practicing stunning spells.
Harry had given up doing anything, but was watching Cissy and Bella learning it.
" Don't be erratic with your movements. You have done well. Just remember, will your magic and visualize the effect or the colour of the spell and do it."
Cissy did as he told her, and she succeeded. She beamed in happiness and kissed Harry's cheek forgetting where they were. She blushed when she became aware of what she had done and was about to move away when she felt her hand being held.
She looked up and saw Harry with pink tinges on his cheek, shake his head and smiling at her.
She felt her heart pace increase. She sat back down still holding his hand.
Bellatrix was smiling at the two of them but there was a sense of longing in her eyes.
Harry didn't expect to be kissed, but he felt great. He felt a bit shy after that display but it disappeared and he held her hand and signaled her to remain seated.
Harry was about to say something, when he felt a spell sailing towards him. Harry sprung into action. He turned so fast that the others thought that he was turned in that direction to begin with.
He saw a bludgeoning and blasting curse. He swatted those spells back in the same direction. He heard screams and saw that it was Malfoy and Lestrange.
Instantly, the caring Harry had disappeared and the scary, Powerful lord Peverell was in place. Power was rolling off him in waves. The Slytherins and Gryffindors stepped back , shuddering at the glow in Harry's eyes.
James tried to hold Harry back but it was futile. He showed James off and lifted his wand.
Harry's fury dimmed a bit, when he felt he was being held back. He turned to look into the scared and worried eyes of Bellatrix. " Harry!!" She pleaded.
Harry stopped a bit. " Harry, please calm down. He isn't worth it. Please stop. Both me and Cissy are alright. Calm down Harry. Please calm down for my sake."
Harry shook his head and cooled down a bit. But he was far from letting this rest.
" Those bastards tried to curse you and Cissy, Bella. I will….."
" Harry" Cissy cut in. " Calm down please. Don't act in haste Harry. Please,for our sake Harry." She pleaded.
Harry took a deep breath. " Harry. Better send a letter to Dad ." James instructed.
Harry nodded. He waved his wand and conjured a patronus.
The other students watched in awe as a king Nundu shining brightly materialized . " Go to dad and tell him that it's a family emergency and get Uncle Arcturus as well."
The Nundu nodded and rubbed its face against his hand and disappeared.
He conjured another patronus and sent it to Dumbledore, asking to notify the Lestrange and Malfoy patriarch to get down to Hogwarts this instant.

The occupants of Potter Manor were relaxing and making idle talk.
Charlus, Arcturus and Cygnus were busy talking about the wizengamot.
On the other side, the ladies were talking among themselves. Dorea, Melania and Druella were discussing a social function coming up soon.
The people were broken from their talks when a bright Nundu came through the window.
'Dad, I want you and Uncle Arcturus to come to Hogwarts this instant. It's a family matter.'
" Oh Merlin." Charlus sighed.
" He can conjure a bloody patronus and the damn thing can speak as well??" Cyrus asked bewildered.
" What the hell am I trying to tell the both of you. He is damn good that boy. Dangerous and brilliant with a wand.
But that is the least of our worries."
" What do you mean Charlus??"asked Melania.
" That tone is not one I want to hear. That tone is used when he is pissed. And trust me Meli, you do not want your nephew pissed. And there is no place in this world that you can hide from him.
Some trouble has occurred to one of the family. He is all the more deadly, when someone even looks bad at his family." Charlus said gravely.
" I love the boy to death, Meli, but in some instances, he can be damn frightening."
" Earn his loyalty, he will carry you on his shoulders. Betray him, you are better off dead than alive."
" Let's go and see what has happened??" Said Druella and moved out with her husband with the rest joining them.

Dumbledore was going through some papers related to ICW, when a patronus came through.
Contact the Malfoy and Lestrange patriarch. Their heirs have attacked to maim. Make it quick or this will have dire consequences' said Harry's voice.
' Oh boy, I do not want to be Abraxus and Randalph right now.' he thought and went to write a letter.

"Harry, sit down please and Cool down." Said Katie.
The entire family of Potters and Blacks were present.
The senior members of the families entered the room along with the professors.
Dorea rushed towards Harry and pulled him into a hug. Charlus gave him a pat on the back, and squeezed his shoulder.
" What happened son?"
" Those damn bastards…..!!!!", " Harry. Sir down and cool down. Please Harry. You are getting too angry." Pleaded Cissy." Too angry. The damn bastards tried to curse you and Bella Cissy. And right under my nose. Those were blasting curses and bludgeoning curses. "
" Harry, let it go please." Bella pleaded. She hugged him close to her. " You got to calm down now Harry. We are both fine. Please calm down."
Harry sighed and relaxed in her arms.
"Fine," he said.
Druella watched all this with interest. She looked towards Dorea and gave her a smile.
' My baby girls are in love' she thought.
Cygnus squeezed her hand and nodded.
' They are growing up fast,' he thought.
Dorea and Charlus looked towards their son and their honorary daughters with a fond smile.
Her baby boy was in love but he had no clue about it.
' He is so intelligent and powerful, and yet he is so dense.'
Arcturus and Melania watched their nephew and granddaughter's interaction. They were happy that they were getting along so well.
The atmosphere suddenly tensed as two men entered the room.
Harry was covered by his brother and sister and cousins. They knew he would lose control over his already losing temper.
" Lord Black. Lord Potter. What is this I hear about your son injuring my heir.
This is unacceptable to Lord Potter. I demand recompensation." The Malfoy patriarch stormed in with an angry expression demanding
That was as far as he got.
The air around him thickened and he heard a voice so soft and cool it sent tingles down his spine.
" What did you say? Care to repeat it again you bastard."
" What is this? I thought better of you, Lady Potter. I thought you would have taught your heir some amount of etiquette. How inconsiderate of you." replied Randalph Lestrange.
That was as far as he got. Lucius got blasted down the room with a wave of Harry's wand.
Harry burst forward, and avoided Randalph' s spell. He gave a spinning kick to his jaw.
When he went down, Harry crouched next to him, and started to punch Randalph's face repeatedly.
James tried to pull him off but it was futile. His father and mother tried too, with no avail.
Bellatrix slowly approached Harry. She held his arm. He turned to look at her and she balked under his fury filled eyes.
Harry softened when he saw it was Bellatrix. " Harry, I am getting scared. Please stop. Narcissa is crying. Katie as well. Your mother is distraught with worry. Please stop for our sake. Let us leave them to Uncle Charlus and Grandfather. Please Harry."
Harry looked into the eyes of his family. He saw the scared and concerned eyes. He lost all his anger when he saw his mother's face.
He stood up and went forward and brought his mother into a hug. " I am sorry mum," he said sincerely.
" It's alright Harry. " She stroked his cheek lovingly and kissed his forehead.
Harry turned towards his sister and opened his arms. Her sister lunged forward and held on to him tightly, and cried her eyes out." How dare you!!??? I was so scared". He brushed her hair aside. " I am really sorry Kat. But when those shits spoke ill of my mom, I lost it."
She nodded and hugged him once more before letting go.
Harry turned to see Narcissa. He slowly approached her and hugged her." I am really sorry Cissy. I didn't mean to scare you. Do forgive me."
She nodded and hugged him tighter before letting him go albeit reluctantly.
" It wasn't for hitting him, Harry. We are seeing you after so many years. Imagine what will happen to Katie and Uncle. What about Aunt Dorea?? She would be heartbroken Harry. And what about all your friends??"
Harry sighed." You are right Bella." Bellatrix smiled and hugged him close to her, enjoying the comfort of his hard body.
He turned towards the two downed men and contemplated on what to do.
"Timmy" he called his elf.
" What is Timmy doing for master Harry??" He questioned excitedly
" Go to Gringotts and get two money forms." Timmy disappeared and appeared a minute later.
" Malfoy, you will be signing three fourths of your wealth to the Potter account.
And you, Lestrange will do the same but to the Black vaults. And make it quick. I don't have all day."
The both of them looked into the eyes that promised hurt and death. They became deathly white and left quickly.
Harry turned towards the Black patriarch. " Lord Black. Lady Black. It's a pleasure to meet you both."
" None of that now Harry. Call me aunt Meli. And that git is your Uncle Arcturus."
Arcturus grumbled under his breath.
" It's good to see you again, Harry. You look well. I want to thank you for saving my granddaughters'lives."
" Yes Harry . Me and Cygnus are very pleased that you were there. Thank you." said Druella with a happy smile, taking both his hands in her hands.
" You don't need to thank me Druella. It was my duty."
"Well, now that's over we need to get back Harry. Do keep out of trouble."
" Oi!!!! I will let you know that it's trouble that finds me, not the other way around." He said with mock outrage.
"Don't worry Aunt Dorea. I and Cissy will make sure that he behaves", replied Bellatrix cheekily.
Dorea smiled at the sisters, hugged them all and left with the others.
Things were getting interesting everyday.
She wondered what all would be happening with Harry around.
'You really are something harry.' she thought.
