Chapter 8: Jaunecidence part 2
A few weeks Later Team JNPR's Room
"Why is Jaune getting home so late?" Nora asked as she kept jumping up and down on her bed.
"He's become scarce ever since he began fraternizing with Cardin." Ren added as he was cleaning his weapons.
"That's weird." Nora said. "Doesn't he know we have a field trip tomorrow? We need our rest!" She flipped around a few times in the air and landed on her back on her bed.
"I'm sure our leader knows exactly what he's doing." Pyrrha said as she stared out the window. The other two looked at each other. "Hmmmmm, I guess so." Nora said.
They were all unaware that Jaune was about to walk in and heard everything through the crack in the door; he closed it after he heard Nora again. He felt awful for being untruthful with his team and not being there with them. He leaned against the wall and slid down to the floor with his arms on his knees and his head in his arms.
"Hey, Jaune." Ruby said, making him look up from his spot on the ground. "Long time, no see. You didn't lock yourself out again, did you?"
"No." Jaune answered immediately.
Ever since the night that Izuku had seen Jaune and Pyrrha go back to their dorm with similar defeated looks on their faces, a lot had changed, and not for the better. Jaune was now hanging out with Cardin more often than not; Pyrrha wouldn't speak to Jaune at all, nor would she talk to anyone else about the split forming in her team; and RWBY and TKIS had been adamant to simply let JNPR ride it out on their own, not wishing to potentially make things worse by getting involved.
But for some reason, Izuku had a feeling that something was going to happen soon, and that Jaune was going to play a pivotal role within it. However, at the moment, Jaune was currently standing outside of the doorway to his dorm room, his gaze falling upon the floor as he silently closed the thin barrier between him and his team.
Izuku was walking down the hall to his dorm next to theirs, but then he saw Jaune with his face lost and sad and his posture depressed. Izuku knew that face well, because he was in that position well throughout his life. Ruby had probably seen it too and was there to cheer him up. He thought he should give her a hand.
"Hey Ruby. Hey, Jaune. Why are you just sitting here? Did you get locked out again? I mean your door seems open to me." Izuku tried breaking the tension.
"That's what I asked." Ruby clarified.
"N-nope! I got it!" Jaune pulled out his scroll, remembering one of his embarrassing moments since coming to this school. And the ones before that. And the days he failed his fathers training. And the time his older sisters used him for…
Ugh, he kept going deeper into the rabbit hole that was his depressing and embarrassing moments in life.
"So... where have you been lately?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah,You've been pretty distant lately. Your team misses their leader. And we miss our friend." Izuku said.
"I-" Jaune sighed as looked up at the silver eyed leader and green haired wilder. "I messed up. I did something I shouldn't have," He remembered the sad look on Pyrrha's face after he yelled at her "said somethings I shouldn't have, and now Cardin's got me on a leash and Pyrrha won't even talk to me. I'm starting to think coming to this school was a bad idea." He brought his face down into his arms again. "I'm a failure."
Izuku looked down at Jaune with a look of sympathy. He knew all about being labeled a failure and feeling worthless. Being mistreated by your peers. Never thinking things might get better.
"Nope." Ruby said.
Jaune brought his arms away from his face and looked up at Ruby. "What?" He asked back.
"Nope." She repeated and sat down next to him. "You and I are leaders now, Jaune. You and I are not allowed to be failures."
"Yeah Jaune. You made a mistake. So what?" Izuku sat down on his other side. "And if you need help with Cardin then you can ask your team. They are there for you and as their leader you need to be there for them."
"But what if I'm a failure at being a leader for them?" He asked.
"Nope. No can do there Jaune." Ruby said. "Maybe you were a failure when you were a kid. You might have even been a failure the first day we met." He slumped at both claims made by Ruby. "But you can't be one, now. You know why?"
"I don't know... why?" He asked.
"Because it's not just about you anymore." She explained. "You've got a team now, Jaune. We both do, and if we fail them, then we'll just be bringing them down with us."
"And if you think you're not good enough and if you are afraid you won't be enough, then work ten times harder than everyone else to be a better leader. Learn who they are. Put your trust in your team and they will put the same trust in you." Izuku threw in his words of comfort too.
"Put your teammates first and yourself second." Ruby said.
Jaune took all of this in. He had trusted his team, he would trust each one of them with his life, but he wasn't giving them any reason to trust him with theirs. He knew what he had to do, but he still needed to get past the whole ordeal with Cardin. He would confront him tomorrow he thought.
"I... think I get it now. Thanks' you guys. I got an idea of what I need to do to make things right." Jaune said as he stood up smiling.
Ruby smiled back at him. "No problem. Your team deserves a great leader, Jaune. And I have doubt in my mind when I say I think that can be you." Ruby walked to her room and opened the door before stepping while looking at them. "Good night."
Without knowing that she did not fully shut the door all the way leaving a gap.
"You are not the only one who has keeping secrets" .
Jaune looked at Izuku and asked, "What do you mean?".
"I also have a secret I can't let out. It's very personal..." Izuku said before sighed "I will tell you. But you must promise not to tell a soul about this! Not even my team knows yet".
Jaune was silent before he nodded "I promise. And an Arc never goes back on his word".
However unknown to them in the team RWBY dorm room
"Ruby you forgot to closed the door the boys are talking" Weiss said
"Don't worry i got it" Yang said not knowing what was about to be said
'I can't tell Jaune or anyone about One For All not yet so I guess it's that one' Izuku thought.
Yang is about to close the door when five words left Izuku lips that she would hear for the rest of her life.
"I kissed Yang a week ago and i think I'm in love with her" Izuku looked down.
Jaune blinked "What?".
"I said I kissed a week ago and i think I'm in love with her''Izuku said a little louder "I know that uh… I'm not tall like you or the others. My body is not strong enough for my semblance,and it's okay if she doesn't feel the same way. I'll be alright if that's the case. Besides, I still don't think I'm worthy for her.I mean i've been hiding from her fora week"
`He loves me. I mean i have a crush on him for saving me but i should be hearing this i should close the door'. Yang thought to herself.
Yang looked to her teammates, they were in shock and aw to what they did not mean to hear she was about to open but she stop wanting to hear more
Jaune was taken aback by his sudden outburst "I think you and Yang can be a cute couple".
"You think so?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah Izuku your so worthy for her so tomorrow you are going to tell her" Jaune said
" ok i well next week"Izuku said
"Izuku you can't keep hiding from her" Jaune said deadpan
"I know also can you teach me how to dance, i went to get ready for the Vytal dance and impress Yang" izuku asked
"sure what are friends for" Jaune said
"Thanks Jaune, I'm just glad that me and Ruby are your friends. Just do what you know needs to be done. Good night"Izuku stood up and went to his dorm room.
'It's weird how he can go from shy to awesome in a few short moments' Jaune thought.
He turned around to head to his door and his Scroll beeped. He opened it and it showed a picture of Cardin and noticed he got a message from him. He was about to press a button to listen to it when he thought about the conversation he just had. He closed his scroll and smiled as he headed into his room with his team and then Yang next team RWBY room looking at the team TKIS dorm room door.
'He said he'll tell me in the morning but I have something in mind, see you then greenie' Yang thought to herself and giggled and shut the door.
in Team RWBY dorm
"HE DID WHAT!?" Ruby yelled suprised.
"He did Greenie kiss me a week ago, it just a quick one but it was nice" Yang said
"So are you and Izuku dating now?" Weiss asked
"Or maybe it was a accident? you know a heat of the moment" Blake said
"I think it was and it a good thing i got Bumblebee fixed last week but we shouldn't had heard him say he loves me " Yang said
"So what are you going to do Yang" Ruby asked
"I don't know so what i just pretend i din't hear him " Yang said
"Yang do you like Izuku" Blake asked
"Yes i have a crush on him ever since he saved me from that Chaos Effect." Yang said
"Just tell him when you see him" Weiss said
The Next Day (Forever Fall Forest, 1:34 pm)
The Forest of Forever fall was a forest that embodied the color red. The leaves were red, the grass was red, if they dug in the ground it would probably be red. The whole point of being here was to get red tree sap. Glynda led teams RWBY, JNPR, TKIS and CRDL and Aizawa was there as well, as backup in case something dire happened to the red leafed woods and they were clearly enjoying the view. "Yes, the Forest of Forever Fall is quite beautiful, but we aren't here for sightseeing. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect her samples from the trees deep in the forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so."
Aizawa continued the explanation. "Each person here must gather one jar's worth of red sap. If you gather more than necessary, then we'll give you extra credit for a class of your choice. But remember, the forest is full of Grimm, so stay by each other. No one is to be isolated."
Jaune was carrying the collecting equipment and jars and he bumped into Cardin. Cardin turned around and growled at him and Jaune avoided eye contact.
Goodwitch finished the explanation, though a hint of annoyance was ever present on her face. "We will rendezvous back here at four o'clock. Be careful and have fun!"
"Come on, buddy. Let's go." Cardin said as he grabbed Jaune. Jaune took one last look at his team walking into the forest, Pyrrha meeting his gaze while Ren and Nora opted to instead go into the forest early and get the assignment done ahead of time. Jaune hung his head a bit low while following Cardin and the others on his team into a different part of the forest. Pyrrha sighed as she followed Ren and Nora.
Izuku saw it too and he was hoping Jaune remembered the talk from last night "Greenie" He turned around and faced Yang "Are you okay?"
"Yea, I'm fine. Just a little worried for Jaune. Wish I could do more for him." He said looking to the spot Jaune and Team CRDL disappeared. Yang saw where he was looking and turned to tell Professor. Goodwitch and But she was gone. She wanted to say or do something to cheer him up.
Yang walked up to Izuku then hugged him, "Yang w-what are you doing?"
"You looked like you could use a hug right now." Yang said to Izuku, who was turning red.
"Where you hoping for something else why have you been avoiding me for a week?" Yang asked
"I'm sorry i didn't mean to i don't know what happened, my body just moved on it's own i get if you don't want to be friends anymore" Izuku said
"What no i do still want to be friends" Yang said
'But i want us to be more then just friends to tell the truth' Izuku thought
"So... what were you and Lady-killer talking' about yesterday, when Ruby left Greenie?" Yang asked Izuku,clearly knowing one of the answers.
"W-wait you hard!" Izuku said surprised
"Well, the girls and I heard you talking to Jaune last night what was it about." Yang asked
Izuku blushed the slightest little bit while he explained what Jaune had told him the other night, though not from revealing his friend's reasoning. Over the last two months, it seemed as though whenever he got close to the blonde brawler, his heart would skip a beat or two, and blood would rush towards his face. 'Seriously! It's been two whole months! What the hell is wrong with me?!' Izuku Thought to himself
"So that's what's been going on with him. Huh. No wonder he's been hanging out with Cardin so much." Yang said
"Yeah. I just hope I gave him the advice he needed. I'm not really good at social stuff."Izuku said
"We'll know soon enough. But you did the right thing by trying. So don't worry about it so much. Lady-killer will make the right choice. I hope."Yang said
(Forever Fall, cliffside, 2:35 pm)
Cardin's team just laid down and around the ground and trees lazily as Jaune collected the sap seven times. He brought the jars over and put them down before dropping to the ground.
"Great work, Jaune-y boy." Cardin said. "Now that wasn't too hard, was it?"
"I think I'm allergic to this stuff." Jaune said. Looking ready to throw up with his eyes crossed.
"Great, great, great." Cardin said as he stood over him. "So, Jaune, I bet you're wondering why your buddy asked you to collect seven jars of sap when there's only five of us here?"
"That is one of the many questions I've asked myself today, yes." Jaune answered.
"Well, come with me and I'll show you." Cardin smirked as he and his team walked over to a hill. Jaune followed and looked over. Ren was filling up a jar when he turned around and saw Nora burping after drinking a whole jar. He gave her a disappointed glare and she gave a nervous and his team were closer by working on two trees across from Pyrrha was having a nice conversation with Shoto and Izuku while Tenya was dutifully filling up several jars of the tree sap. Katsuki was angrily stabbing into the tree with a spout and his team just had sweat-drops at his antics.
"Cardin, what's going on?" The blonde asked.
"Payback." The bully answered as he eyed the redhead,green hair and half and half boys as they gathered sap.
Jaune looked down again and spotted the members Cardin was glaring at in rage as they collected the remaining sap. "Pyrrha?Izuku? and Shoto? What're you going to-"
"There they are." Cardin interrupted. "Little miss Know-It-All, broccoli boy and the half and half. Think they're so smart."
Alright boys, last night, I managed to round up an entire box full of Rapier wasps because Jaune was too cool to do it." He said as he pulled a box out of his bag. "And now we're going to put them to work."
"Now, according to one of the essays you wrote for me last week, these nasty things love sweets. I'm thinking it's time we teach them a thing or two." His team stood up before he pulled Jaune up and shoved one of the two jars of the sap into his hands. "And you're the one who's gonna do it."
"Do what?" Jaune asked.
"Hit them both with the sap!" Cardin ordered. "Either that, or I'll have a little chat with Professor Goodwitch, and you'll be on the first airship out of Beacon."
Jaune looked down at the jars in his hands before looking up at Cardin and his team. He turned and prepared to throw the sap.
You and I are not allowed to be failures anymore. Jaune's body froze.
Put your trust in your team and they will put the same trust in you. Jaune lowered his arm and it was shaking violently.
Put your teammates first and yourself second. His friend's words turning themselves into courage. "No." He said eerily calm.
"What was that?" Cardin asked dangerously.
"I..." Jaune hand glowed white as he gripped the jar with such force that it began to crack all along the surface.
"said... NO!" Jaune spun around and threw the jar at Cardin, somehow sending him back a good distance back. Jaune just saw this and was backing at the sight of Cardin's angry face.
"Ha ha, oh now you've done it." Cardin said as his teammates grabbed Jaune. Cardin walked and threw a heavy punch to Jaune's face. And another. And another. And another. And the last one for good measure.
Jaune landed on the ground with his face carrying multiple bruises and looked up as Cardin grabbed his collar and lifted him off the ground before punching him again. "You know that wasn't very smart, Jauney boy." He said before raising the blonde off the ground. "I'm gonna make sure you get sent back home to mommy in tiny little pieces."
"I don't care what you do to me, but you're not messing with my team, or my friends." Jaune said back.
"What? You think talking like that makes you tough?" Cardin asked, annoyed. "You think that you're a big, strong man now?" He pulled his fist back and threw another punch, only to have the blinding white light from Jaune's hand earlier blind him and a searing pain pulse through his hand. Jaune's bruised face was completely normal again which made it easier to see the pure amount of shock on his face.
Jaune looked at his hands before Lark kicked him from behind. "Let's see how much of a man you really are." Cardin said as Jaune stared up at him raising his fist for another session.
A roar made itself clear as the group turned them all around to find it was an Ursa Major stepping out of the woods into the clearing. The spiked bone armor beast sniffed the air before rising up on its hind legs and sniffed again, this time looking straight at Cardin. Cardin remembered the sap on his chest plate as it was probably the source of why the Grimm had locked onto him. The beast got back on all fours and roared again.
"That's a big Ursa!" Russel shouted before he, Dove, and Lark ran like the cowards they were.
"Oh crap." That was all Cardin got out before the beast swung its claw and knocked Cardin away further.
Cardin crawled away before pulling out his mace, only to have it swatted out of his hand. The weapon rolled on the ground until it stopped at Jaune's feet. He glanced around looking for help before the beast roared again and he let out a terrified scream.
(meanwhile, with Izuku and co.)
"Hey Yang" Izuku said trying not to look at her.
"Hey sexy~" Yang said.
"How-how are-how are yo-how are yo-how-" Izuku stuttering to said as his face turns red as Ruby and Blake laughed as Izuku had a Systems crash.
"I don't wanna be here anymore." Weiss said laughing.
"So... why does the ugly ass Pomeranian always call you Deku?" Yang asked.
Izuku snap him out his stutter in surprise. No one had really brought the topic, and he expected it to be brought up eventually, but not this abruptly!
He sobered himself and hesitantly stated the meaning of the name. "It's... it's an insult. If you read my name in old Mistralian, it translates to 'Useless.'"
Yang was silent for several seconds, her eyes briefly shifting from their normal amethyst to becoming redder than Ruby's namesake. But she quickly calmed herself, and instead had an encouraging smile, saying, "Well then, maybe they should change the definition of the word. It doesn't really sound like that at all. It actually kind of gives off a 'You can do it!' vibe!"
Yang didn't seem to notice, but Izuku was taking the words she said to heart. 'My name doesn't have to mean useless…'
Any further conversation was interrupted when Cardin's team came barreling through the foliage. When they asked what was wrong, they simply yelled that an Ursa Major had attacked them and that Jaune and Cardin were still fighting it.
Izuku, now briefed on the situation, sped off in the direction that Cardin's team had just run from. Ruby, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Shoto were right on his heels as they all rushed up the cliff, and were shocked to see Cardin cowering behind Jayne whilst the blonde knight fought the beast on his own.

Cardin ran away as the Grimm followed him before it jumped ahead and knocked him back. "Crap! Crap! Crap!" He said as Weiss, Pyrrha, Ruby, Izuku, Shoto arrived.
Cardin rolled onto his back as the beast raised its claws and swung. Before it hit him, Jaune got in between and blocked the claws using his shield, surprising everyone. Weiss readied herself along with Shouto unsheathing his blade to join when Pyrrha raised her hand. "Wait."
Jaune pushed the claw away and swung his sword, slicing the beast along its body and leaving a large bleeding cut. The beast recovered and swung again, but Jaune rolled out of the way. It swung again, making Jaune jump up. It took this as an opportunity and swung its other claw higher. Jaune braced behind his shield again and let it hit. When he landed he charged and jumped, only to be swatted away.
Jaune stood up and looked at his Scroll on the inside of the shield, showing his aura in the red. The beast approached him again and Jaune sprinted forward as the beast did the same and swung its claws.
Pyrrha saw Jaune's shield was too low and raised her hand and it glowed in a black aura. Jaune's shield glowed black and it moved, blocking the claws. But what happened next was not because of her. Jaune's sword arm glowed white again and he swung it much faster and stronger than before. With a mighty roar he decapitated the bear like Grimm and let its body fall to the ground where it was already turning into ash.

"What?" Ruby asked as Pyrrha lowered her hand, shocked at Jaune's new power as well.
"How did you-? How did he" Weiss started to ask.
"W-Well, Ruby has her speed, you have your glyphs, and Shoto his ice. I have no clue what Jaune has." Pyrrha said. "But my Semblance is polarity."
"Wow, so you can control poles..." Ruby guessed impressed.
The infamous amount of mumbling found it's long lost host in the form of Izuku.
" .Doesithavelimitationstodifferentkindsofmetals?Youmighthavetodropyourweaponstoletyourselfincloseenough. Butnotonlywouldleaveyoudefenselessagainstherownweapons,butshecouldalsocontrolthemetalindifferentplacesonthebody." Izuku was furiously writing notes into his notebook that he didn't notice Pyrrha starting to leave.
"Wait, where are you going?" Weiss asked.
"Yeah, we gotta tell them what happened." Ruby said.
"We could, or we could keep it our little secret." Pyrrha smiled.
"We understand." Shoto said.
Jaune sheathed his weapon, then he walked over to Cardin and helped him up. Cardin's chest hurt after being hit by that claw, but the pain quickly went away when Jaune's hand glowed again and touched Cardin's aura with his own. Cardin felt his chest after it was done. "Holy crap, Jaune..." He stopped when Jaune pulled him by his collar to look him in the eye.
"Don't ever mess with my team or my friends, ever again." The blonde told his former tormentor. "Got it?" Cardin nodded furiously. "Y-Yeah. No problem." With that Jaune turned and walked away.
He was walking back to his team as a new person. He walked back a huntsman.
Beacon hallway, 4:00pm
Class was over Izuku told his friends what he did last week.
"YOU DUMBASS,YOU KISSED HER A WEEK AGO AND RAN-AWAY!" Katsuki yelled
"Izuku, are you Yang dating now?" Ren asked
"Huh me and Yang, i don't know it's kind of hard to tell" Izuku blushed saying
"He did kiss her is that like saying she's my girl" Nora said
"But it was a quick kiss" Jaune said
"You all will have to see what happens also did you guys forget i was here" Yang said
"We just have so many question" Ruby said
"So now what are you two going to?"Tenya asked
"Yang i think you have something to say"Blake said
"Please... don't say you're not worthy. I love you too,and sorry we over heard you talking to Jaune last night." Yang said as she looks at izuku
"It's fine what now?" Izuku replied at this point looking like he showered in red spray paint.
"Is it not obvious? Well I guess I need to give you a hint even you will not be dense enough to miss" Yang declared.
Yang asked with a smile. Izuku turned his head to ask what that was. But before a single word could leave his mouth Yang kissed him right on the lips. Izuku eyes became wide as did everyone else Yang then stop."How was that for a hint? I'll call you up later Greenie." Yang said as she walked away leaving him in the hall
"Now you and Yang are dating and the hint was she said she loves you too" Weiss said
Outside of Beacon Academy, 8:00 pm
When night come Shoto walked off on his own and went outside to watch the stars . Think of his mother in Mistral and how he can't wait to see her soon. He did not know how long he looked up until a voice spoke.
"Hey Shoto"said a familiar voice he look to see Ruby behind him "what are you doing out here"
"I should be asking you Ruby," Shoto said.
She just shrugged "I saw you from my dorm window, so I figured I'd come out You ok?" Ruby asked
"Yes i'm ok i just need some air Izuku is still freaking out that Yang kissed him" Shoto respond
"You think they are a good couple? I'm not the best at reading people's feelings" Ruby said.
"I think they would be great as a couple" Shoto stopped, he looked at Ruby and said what she was not ready for. "You know i was think of my mother before you show up"
"Your mom oh your homesick am sorry i'll leave now" Ruby said
"No it's fine you can stay my mom, she is not in Atlas if that's what your thinking, she is in a Hospital in Mistral" responded with sadness in his voice.
"What why? Oh sorry i shouldn't have said it like that " Ruby said
"It's okay because of my dad he calls me his masterpiece because I have two Semblances. My right side makes ice and my left makes fire. It's called Frozen Hell." Shoto respond
"The name is cool but why is your dad the reason your mom is in the Hospital or you can tell me when you're ready to"Ruby said
"i don't when to tell you or anyone that yet" Shoto respond
"Do you want to change the subject if it's okay with you that is" Ruby said to which Shoto just nod
"I hear Mistral is it's really pretty up there. Especially in the spring oh sorry i did mean to say that" Ruby Said.
"I't fine i take you to Mistral we'll go there together, my grandmother she has a house out that way and am sure my mom and grandmother would love to meet some of my friends once the tournament is over"Shoto said.
"I would love to meet your mom and grandma Shoto"Ruby said with a smile on her face but on the inside she was think 'Yes i get to meet Shoto Mom and Grandma after the tournament.' Ruby thought to herself be for the realization hit her 'i get to meet Shoto Mom and Grandma after the tournament i don't know what to say when i meet them should i bring flowers what do i wear well they like me i mean am his future wife so maybe...wait what did i just say AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH why it's like the time i said marry me'. Ruby thought to herself but for one thing Ruby will be ready for what the future holds for her and Shoto.
"Well I'm off to bed good night".Ruby said.
Ruby was about to walk away " Ruby thanks" Said Shoto Ruby smiled and walked up to him and gave Shoto a hug Ruby pulled back and smiled " you look like you needed a hug" using the same line as her sister Ruby walked away and Shoto had a half smile on his face.
On the roof of Beacon
Jaune stood in his uniform as he looked out over the academy. "No Cardin tonight?" Pyrrha asked as she walked up to him. "I thought you two were best buds?"
"Pyrrha, I'm sorry." Jaune said as he turned to face her. "I was a jerk. You were only trying to be nice and I- I had all this stupid macho stuff in my head."
"Jaune." Pyrrha interrupted him. "It's okay." The two smiled at each other before she continued. "Your team really misses their leader, you know. You should come down." She turned and walked to the door. "Ren made pancakes! No syrup, though. You can thank Nora for that. And you could probably explain to Izuku what you did. He has been eager to write it down in his notebook."
Jaune looked at his hands. "I honestly don't know what I did. It felt… It felt like I was reinforcing my aura in one spot with a larger than normal amount. That's what gave me the strength and speed. But when I healed Cardin, it felt like I was using my aura to reinforce his and from there making his aura heal him faster." Jaune guessed.
Pyrrha was impressed at Jaune's deduction at his own semblance. "That sounds like a great power, but it could possibly drain your aura a lot faster."
Jaune just shrugged and gave a goofy smile. "You said I had a lot of it. And I trust you on that." Jaune said.
Pyrrha blushed slightly, but still smiled. "Well, we should go before Nora eats all the pancakes." She turned to the door.
"Wait!" Jaune shouted, making the red head turn around seeing his leader scratching his neck in embarrassment. "I know I don't deserve it after everything I said, but... Would you still be willing to help me? To you know; help me become a better fighter?"
Pyrrha turned around and smirked before walking over to Jaune. Any sense of a moment was abruptly cut off when she pushed him down. "Don't think that a new semblance is going to help your terrible footwork and stance." She told him offering a hand to him and he took it. "You have to be wider and lower to the ground." He did what she said, and she smiled at him. "Now, let's try that again."

Semblance (description provided by Izuku's notebook): Gaurdian: A hereditary semblance passed down through the Arc family. It utilizes their much larger than normal quantities of aura to increase their overall abilities to a degree. Also can reinforce another person aura with their own, letting them recharge it faster and heal fatal wounds, but makes the user run out of aura faster and therefore they need to be careful with it.
Weapon: Crocea Mors: A basic sword and shield combination that is passed down through his family. The only special function it has is the shield's ability to be his sword's sheath.
