Firelord Ozai adopts Aang as his son, a Prince of the Fire Nation, with hopes of using the Avatar as his Weapon — after all, the hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world. Aang has mastered all the elements but one. What will happen when a certain waterbender is brought in as his teacher?

After Azula shoots Aang with lightning, Katara intentionally gets captured to protect him and is taken to the Fire Nation as a prisoner. Meanwhile, Zuko grapples with the consequences of betraying his beloved uncle as well as a certain waterbender that had once trusted him. - Slow burn Zutara. Hurt/Comfort, Eventual Fluff and Smut.
