Aang has mastered all the elements but one. What will happen when a certain waterbender is brought in as his teacher?

After Azula shoots Aang with lightning, Katara intentionally gets captured to protect him and is taken to the Fire Nation as a prisoner. Meanwhile, Zuko grapples with the consequences of betraying his beloved uncle as well as a certain waterbender that had once trusted him. - Slow burn Zutara. Hurt/Comfort, Eventual Fluff and Smut. After the heartbreak of the "Ember Island Players" episode, Katara finally figures out her feelings for Aang. Zuko's redemption arc continues. In the year after the comet, the Gaang travels the world, while Aang and Katara's relationship deepens. Then, after they've settled in Republic City, disaster strikes. TV-canon-compatible missing moments, extending beyond the finale.

Summary: While traveling with Aang across the earth kingdom, Aang takes a detour to see the cave of two lovers

Six years after the beginning of his reign as Firelord, Zuko thought he wouldn't suffer another assassination attempt. He was wrong, and worse, he had no clue how big this final attempt would be, both in his heart and in the world. Rated M for the hardest scenes. Translation from French (with slight changes).

An exploration of what Katara and Zuko were going through when they weren't seen and what could have happened if they spent more time together. Also an exploration of fire and water.
