Chapter 689.
"Pop Stars of Great Lakes City."
(September 26. Great Lakes City.)
The limo of Hope arrives, and coming out are the large group. We have: Lincoln, Jordan, Ryan, Luna, Sam, Mark, Angel, Tabby, Hope, Gretchen, Regina, Chastity and Michelle Lewis, and all of them are there because of one thing, a big concert of two iconic pop stars.
They look around the city, they do spot some large billboards of two things, twelve is Midnight and Alisa Barela and then they all recall the concert is tonight, and then they go towards the Casagrandes apartment and they all talk about what they all look forward to.
The girls all talk about twelve is Midnight and Alisa Barela, and the other watch them talk about this. The ones not talking to them about this are Lincoln, Jordan, Luna, Sam and Ryan, oh and also Michelle. They're happy the other girls are happy for what is coming here for the concert.
"Well, looks like all of them freaking loves the whole 12 is Midnight stick" said Michelle. "Well, this is gonna be an amazing… Wait, what?" She stops and she goes into a room and the others follow her.
"Alisa Barela?!" they all see the pop star, and she doesn't look like her pop star self, and instead she looks like a normal kinda gal. "What the heck are you doing here, dressed like this?" asked Jordan.
Alisa sees them, and she goes over and greets them, and also Carl and Carlota is also there. "Hey guys, glad you're all here." Alisa looks cheesed off. "Well, someone here has been trying to get me to go back to the pop star life, and away from the normal life."
"Well, her and her little brother, and in truth, she is using me! I already figured out that she's just using me because I am famous and rich, and that she wants the same thing. I thought I made a friend, but I guess I was wrong. Also, I am going to take a shower, at where her Abuela stays."
They see the guilty look from Carlota, and they all look sternly at Carl, and Lincoln cracks his knuckles and this makes the little boy scared, he recalls how ticked off Lincoln can be when Carl does something dumb, even though this is all Carlota's problem.
Luna then sees where this is going, and she goes over and talks to her. "Alisa, calm down. Listen I know what it's like. Heck, fame and fortune can be a bit too much, and it wouldn't be an easy stick when you got so much to handle, and less time for friends and family."
Sam also speaks. "Something we both don't wanna be. Look, you wanna live a normal life, then go ahead. No one is stopping you, you can be your own self and your own kind of person. Don't let others tell you around, and another dang good reason why we are not going on tour, unless it's on our terms."
Jordan also speaks with her. "Having someone try to use you for something, that is wrong, and I can tell that Carlota regrets making you go through that…." they look to Carlota who looks down in shame and this makes Alisa think about her words. "How about yo take that shower now, and then talk to her later?"
Alisa nods. "Yeah, thanks… Also, Luna Loud… Wow, you changed. Nice look too, makes you look like an elegant gal ready stand up for those she loves and taking charge with such responsibility."
Luna smirks. "Thanks, Alisa." They watch as the former pop star leaves to clean herself up. Then they lock the door and look to the two Casagrandes, and Carl tries to escape, but Bullets blocks his path to the window. Luna confronts them both. "Talk, now!"
Lincoln and the others also go to them. "Also, where the heck are Ronnie Anne and Sid?"
(Later.)
They're all back at the Casagrandes apartment, and they all can tell that Carlota feels bad for what she did. Gretchen then speaks. "Carlota, that was wrong cruel and you got manipulated by that little dork."
Carl is being held by his mother, and father, and Rosa and Hector are disappointed in their grandson, and he's gonna be grounded for a week alongside Carlota for what they did to Alisa.
"Yeah, I know" replied Carlota. "And what's worse, the manager of Alisa is gonna be here soon. He wants her back on the spotlight, or I am in so much dang trouble. I just… I don't know why I made this happen, I mean I wanted to help her, and then it went worse."
"No…" They all see Alisa come out, and she is all cleaned up. "Carlota, its fine I get it. I guess, I shouldn't have…" then they hear the door knock and someone comes in and that someone is the manager of Alisa, Blaze.
"Alisa! There you are, and what is this text about you quitting?! You cannot be joking around and taking long breaks, we have a lot to do today and the concert is tonight and we are losing time, and time is money. We also have months of more work to do, so we're leaving…"
Then Carlota blocks the door. "Wait what? Months of work?!"
Blaze smirks. "Yes, months of work and it is hard work for someone like Alisa, she is a pop star and she has her own life to go through, and that life is what she has now, being famous and making everyone happy. Also, she was meant to be this way, and not some…"
"Not some what?!" Luna and Sam are confronting him, and then Luna talks. "The way you sound, and the way you talk is a lot like that annoying manager who is no longer with us, Katie Crest!" They can all see this and they all stand with her. "Acting like that and abusing the client is just going too far."
Then Carlota speaks. "She's right, and Alisa needs some time off. This is too much for her, no one can do all that work at once, and she has her limits and she reached hers, and you are being way too much for her!"
Blaze scoffs. "Oh yeah? And what the heck are you all going to do about it? You know you can't…"
"And send." Michelle then sends what she recorded. "Looks like someone is about to become the next rejected and outcasted manager, everyone is gonna be seeing this and I have a lot of followers and some from my past moments of being a singer, and I am done with that overdosed ife."
They all see the notifications and a lot of folks are calling out Blaze and this makes the man panic. "What have you done?!"
"The right thing!" Alisa goes towards him. "Because I am done with you, and you acting like this only means one thing… You are not the right manager for me and I do not want you to be around me anymore!"
Blaze is now confused. "But… But…"
Mark Warrens then recalls something. "I have another uncle who could help, he's helped do tours for a lot of good bands, and even helped manage for Linkin Park and tried to help them out of their problems, but couldn't save the lead singer, his name is Alfonso Warrens."
This make Blaze panic and Alisa smiles. "He a family man who knows when to understand?"
Mark nods. "Dang right." He hands her the number. "He knows what to do, and he is rich and he can try and sort out stress and he always listens. He's a good person, I see him when we have family reunions and holidays. He's always there."
Alisa smiles. "Now that is a manager I can handle." She then looks to Blaze. "As for you, I don't need you anymore, Blaze. Because you are fired!"
Blaze then yells. "You can't just…" Then a Tarantula on Alisa's shoulder shoots some strong web and the former manager is knocked out of the window and lands into the dump truck and drives off.
Alisa sighs in relief. "Thank goodness that was over." She then looks to Carlota and the duo hug each other. "Thanks for standing up to me, you're a real good BFF Carlota." She then looks to the others. "And thanks yo all of you, except for Carl. You all stood up for me, and showed me that I didn't need some annoying manager to…"
Twelve is Midnight: I'm feeling good, muy bien.

Alisa then asks. "What the heck is that amazing sound?"
"Where was that coming from?" asked Michelle. "Because that sounded amazing, and…. 12 is Midnight?" They see the eagles at the window and they point to the roof, and so they all get over there.
(On the roof.)
They all get onto the roof, and they see the band 12 is Midnight and Ronnie Anne and Sid. Sid has heart eyes. "Voices of Angels."
Ronnie Anne is so confused. "Wait, that's all it took for Yoon Kwan to get his memory back?"
Jun-Soo nods. "Yeah, we always use music to fix Yoon whenever something like this happens when we go on tour someplace else, and it always tends to bring him with memory loss, seems pretty normal."
Jin also nods. "Just like last time when we vanquished the ghost inside him. She was one crazy fan."
Han chuckles recalling that one. "That was so crazy."
Then Yoon Kwan speaks. "This experience just gave me the inspiration I need for the song, follow my lead guys!"
Yoon Kwan: Extra, extra, read all about it.
I was so lost, my head was kinda cloudy.

They all cheer from the performance and then Alisa goes over to Carlota. "I almost forgot that I love making music, and I can't give this up." She then looks to Mark. "And with someone who can help give me all the breaks I need." Mark gives her a thumbs up. "I am so jazzed for the concert tonight, and the rest of you guys can come to the after party."
Carlota looks to her familia and she has an idea. "Or, you could come over and enjoy the party here." Carl is about to stop her, but then Lalo sits on him and so does Sergio, and the eagles. This is the one time they all agree, Carl is annoying.
Meanwhile, the band of 12 is Midnight are signing their autographs for the girls, and the last ones are Ronnie Anne and Sid. Yoon Kwan is the one who also signs last for them. "To Sid and Ronnie Anne, thanks for the head injury. It was inspiring." He hands them the photos and winks to them.
This makes the girls squeal with joy, and the others, even Jordan covers their ears. "Wow. They are loud together!"
"See you all at the concert tonight." Yoon Kwan and his friends hold onto the ropes and the helicopter takes off. The girls all go and watch them leave, while Carlota and Alisa head back inside and they also wait for Mark's uncle to come, also known as her new manager.
Ronnie Anne and Sid are hyped at what they went through. "Best day ever!"
Then Yoon Kwan sneezes and the band is shocked as he falls, but he doesn't as he's tied at the waist by the rope. "I'm okay!"
Lincoln then looks to Ronnie Anne, and so does Jordan and they both ask. "What the heck did you girls do?"
Then Regina has this thought. "Would it be weird if we paired Alisa and Yoon Kwan?"
Sid hears this and grabs her by the collar and shakes her. "Don't ever, ever mention that idea, ever again!" They all go over and stop Sid from acting like this, because they have a concert to go to.

A/N: Based off of the Casagrandes episode "Operation: Pop Star." I loved the episode, and was surprised about Yoon Kwan and his mind getting forgotten ordeal. The episode is just dang wicked cool and awesome! Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
