A Thief and his Farfetch'd
After dealing with James' family, the trio came to the forest where Farfetch'd were supposed to be. "If we get some rare Farfetch'd here we'll be getting a lot of money," said Meowth "so let's start searching already". "Hold your horses you two," said Selina "before we came here, I got a warning from somebody telling me something about this forest. There's a thief about here, with a Farfetch'd, who has been going around stealing pokeballs from other trainers". Selina remembered Keith, who went around stealing pokemon with his Farfetch'd in the anime. "You're joking?" said James. "The nerve of that guy; stealing pokemon is our job" growled Meowth. "What should we do?" asked James. "Simple;" said Selina "if we want to search for wild Farfetch'd we have to get rid of that trainer and his Farfetch'd. To do that we must have Officer Jenny catch and deal with him. So my idea is we set up a trick and trap for this kid. James you will make out you are interested in trying to look out for Farfetch'd and then have him take your pokeballs". "What? Not my pokeballs!" shouted James. "Relax;" said Selina "we are going to have him take empty pokeballs". "Oh thank goodness" sighed James. "Then Meowth while James is distracting the thief you place a transmitter on him; that way we'll be able to track him" finished Selina. "That's a nice plan, but what will you be doing?" said Meowth. "Observing of course;" said Selina "I will be watching the thief on my tracking device. And once I see where the thief is going, I'll be telling Officer Jenny where he is". "Got it" replied Meowth. "Alright James get ready we need to do this now" said Selina.
So to put Selina's plan into action, James gave his pokeballs to Selina and placed empty pokeballs in his pockets. Then Meowth got a tracking device ready. "Alright James, it's time" said Selina. "Got it" said James. Meowth get him a small tracking device; it was to place on the thief for tracking him. James went walking around with Meowth pretending to mind his own business. Just then he saw a Farfetch'd and started running after it, but he ran into somebody. It was Keith. Just like Selina had predicted; Keith had taken James' pokeballs during the crashing. But Meowth had quickly placed a small tracking device on Keith. Then they went their separate ways. James and Meowth went back to Selina. "Did you do it?" asked Selina. "All present and correct" answered James. "Good, now we go find Officer Jenny" said Selina.
Dressed as normal trainers, Selina and James went up to Officer Jenny and told her where Keith and his Farfetch'd were. The gang was with Officer Jenny and Misty had her pokemon stolen, just like in the anime. "Thank you for telling me this information; I have been after this boy and his pokemon for weeks" said Officer Jenny. "Think nothing of it" replied Selina. "Come on let's get him before he leaves" said Misty. She was determined to get her pokemon back. Officer Jenny and the gang set off at once to find Keith. "What do we do now?" asked Meowth. "Let's go and see what happened;" said Selina "it will be amusing to see this boy get arrested. Don't you think?" "Yes, yes it will" said James. Meowth thought the same thing too. So the trio agreed to watch the bit of excitement.
Thanks to Selina's directions it wasn't long till Officer Jenny and the gang found Keith. Like in the episode Ash battled Keith with Bulbasaur and Farfetch'd defeated it. Then Misty's Psyduck battled and defeated it. After a lot of scolding, especially from Misty, Keith gave Misty back her pokemon and he promised to return the pokeballs he stolen, and he also promised to train Farfetch'd properly.
"I can't believe that guy stole pokemon just because he thought Farfetch'd was so weak and couldn't do a thing" said Meowth. "That Meowth is another reason why I have all of us train, especially you Meowth, otherwise we'd be weak losers like that kid is" said Selina. James and Meowth promised to continue their training after this. After the bit of excitement, the trio tried to search for wild Farfetch'd but they couldn't find any at all. "Come on boys let's just leave this place;" said Selina "we can't find any Farfetch'd so let's just go. We'll find other pokemon somewhere else". So the trio left for another destination.
