Pokémon League Admissions Exam
Sometime after the princess festival, Selina had her thoughts on something. She wanted to get ready to take the Pokémon League Admissions Exam. Truth be told Selina wanted to enter the pokemon league; but of course she hadn't been collecting any gym badges due to her work as Team Rocket. Remembering the pokemon league exam made her decide to take it and enter the pokemon league that way. "I'll need to tell James and Meowth this first" she said to herself.
Selina called out to James and Meowth and was about to tell them of her plans, when Meowth showed Selina and James a magazine. It was about Todd the pokemon photographer. "It says this guy has captured every pokemon there is," said Meowth "why don't we go after his pokemon?" "The pokemon he has captured is really only on camera film Meowth; that kid is a photographer" said Selina. Meowth read the article and saw Selina was right. "Whoops I missed reading that part" said Meowth, sheepishly. "No kidding" said James. "Anyway we are taking a break because there is something I really want to do" said Selina. "What's that?" asked James. Selina told the boys about the pokemon league exam. "If I pass this exam I will receive a unique badge that will allow me to enter the pokemon league," said Selina "to tell you the truth I have always wanted to enter pokemon leagues like other trainers. But thanks to the difficult life I've had I've never been able to and now's my chance to enter the pokemon league. So James and Meowth we won't be going after anymore pokemon till I pass the exam". Meowth and James looked at each other in surprise; they didn't think Selina would want to do something like this. "Alright if this is what you want then that's okay with me Jessie," said James "good luck with that". "Thanks James," said Selina "I better get ready for it". She used her Starmie to teleport to their house to get changed in.
"Hey James is this a good idea?" said Meowth "I mean we are supposed to be collecting pokemon for the boss you know". "Oh come on Meowth;" said James "if Jessie says she wants to take this exam and enter the pokemon league then let her do it. She did say so herself she never got to enter the pokemon league, so let's just giver her chance to do so". "Fine if you say so" sighed Meowth.
An hour later, the trio turned up at the building where the exam was to take place. Selina was wearing a matching black shirt and skirt, a smart yellow jacket and flat black shoes. She also had her hair tied up in a bun and wore smart looking glasses. "Wish me luck boys" said Selina. "Good luck Jessie" said James. "You beat them" said Meowth. Selina gave all her pokemon to James to look after and then we went in the building to register for the test. The gang was there too along with Todd.
It wasn't long till the tests started. As the questions were the same as the ones in the pokemon episode 'The Ultimate Test' Selina knew the answers. During the test Selina was thinking about what Jessie was like in the episode. 'Pathetic, stupid, big baby,' she thought as I've said before, I will be better than her'. Soon the written tests were over. Selina looked at the score board and saw herself in the highest scores rank. "Wow Jessie you're doing great" said James, who had been watching and waiting. "Do you get the badge now?" asked Meowth. "No there is pokemon battles tests after this; I'll get the badge after this" answered Selina.
Soon it was time for the pokemon battle tests. Selina hoped she didn't pick the same pokeballs James did, just in case the instructor would use the same pokemon he used against James with her. It wasn't long till it was Selina's turn to battle. Her first pokemon was a Butterfree while the instructor sent out a Graveller. 'How funny that I'm battling against the same pokemon James did,' thought Selina 'James was pretty pathetic then getting all carried away. I'll give him a good lesson'. "Butterfree use supersonic" said Selina. Graveller became confused thanks to Butterfree's supersonic attack. "Now hit it with psybeam". Butterfree released a psybeam attack and Graveller got hit by it. Graveller snapped out of his confusion. "Graveller use rock throw" said the instructor. Graveller started throwing some rocks at Butterfree. "Dodge those rocks and use stun spore Butterfree" said Selina. Butterfree managed to avoid being hit by the rocks and sprayed a powder of stun spore at Graveller. Poor Graveller became paralyzed. "Hit it with psybeam one more time". Butterfree hit Graveller with psybeam and Graveller fainted from the attack. "Very good" said the instructor, and he returned Graveller. Selina returned Butterfree and called out the next pokemon, a Golbat. "Same pokemon I've got," whispered Selina to herself "I'll easily win this". Selina ended up being too sure because the instructor sent out a Rhyhorn next. 'Oh no' thought Selina. This was not going to be an easy one. Selina ordered Golbat to use supersonic, but it didn't affect Rhyhorn. "Rhyhorn use tackle" said the instructor. Rhyhorn tackled Golbat hard before Golbat had the chance to dodge. "Golbat use mega drain" said Selina. Golbat quickly flew down onto Rhyhorn and bit it, stealing its energy to recover. "Shake it off" said the instructor. Rhyhorn shook Golbat off its back. "Use thunder" said the instructor. Rhyhorn used thunder and Golbat was hit by it. Poor Golbat was defeated at once. So the battle was a draw, and Selina needed to win the next battle or she would fail. "This doesn't look good James" said Meowth. "There is still one more round, Jessie can win this" said James. Selina returned Golbat and sent out a Gyarados. The instructor returned Rhyhorn and sent out a Onix. "I've got this one," smirked Selina "Gyarados use hydro pump". "Dodge it and use rock throw Onix" said the instructor. Onix dodged the hydro pump attack and threw rocks at Gyarados. Poor Gyarados got hit by the rocks. "Alright Gyarados use blizzard" said Selina. Gyarados fired a blizzard attack and Onix got hit by it. "Now use hydro pump again Gyarados". Gyarados fired hydro pump again and this time it hit Onix. Onix fainted, so Selina passed the battling test. "You did good" said the instructor. "Thank you sir" replied Selina.
Selina met up with James and Meowth. "Wow Jessie you were a blast out there" said Meowth. "Thank you," said Selina "but wait till I enter the pokemon league". Later that day Selina was presented with the special badge, to enter the pokemon league, along with the other examinees who passed the test. Ash didn't get the badge because he failed the battle test, but he didn't mind. To Ash travelling and challenging the gyms were better. "So now this whole thing is over what are we going to do now?" asked James. "Well I was thinking we should go to a place called Cinnabar Island; there's loads of fire pokemon there" said Selina. "That sounds good" said James. "The pokemon league isn't till three months, so we have plenty of time of travelling around, and then I'll use the remaining time to train my pokemon league" said Selina. "Well let's go already" said Meowth.
So Selina earned the special badge to enter the pokemon league and she couldn't wait for that.
Selina will only enter the Indigo League and not any other leagues.
