I've always wondered about that backward glance Rumlow gave the Winter Soldier while he was being tortured. Rumlow never seemed to me to be bad for the fun of it, but for the logic of it. Sure, he wasn't someone I'd want to run into in a dark alley, but if you think about it, his actions were reasonable for a man who believed in his mission.

It was a monumental task, protecting the protectors, but Bucky had done so much bad. If he could make up for decades of pain and destruction by using his magic to help Steve's team, he was damn well going to do it. Series:Witch Bucky

Not enough Steve/Natasha pairings. So I created my own! They're both so different, but is there something between them? An understanding? A connection greater than friendship? Steve wants to find out, but is not sure how to go about it. Natasha probably wouldn't be interested in an old-fashioned guy like him anyways...
