Excerpt: "Santa," she answered. The men shared a confused look. "You know, SAN-TUH. As in the fat, jolly man that rides in a flying sleigh and brings presents to children at Christmas? Goes around yelling 'Ho! Ho! Ho?" Instead of looking confused, they were now looking at her like she was crazy.

"I had heard of the magic of the elves", Eowyn said, "but I did not look for it in a ranger from the North." A story about how Aragorn learned this so-called 'magic' during his childhood in Rivendell.

Lobelia was a Bracegirdle before marrying Otho Sackville-Baggins. After the quest Frodo Baggins returned home a completely different hobbit than when he left. How would he handle a new set of Bracegirdles and their tricks? A bit AU, but canon. Rated T for mature themes and for violence in a hobbit's mind.

September 22, TA 3001 was Bilbo's 111th birthday. Many people forget that it was Frodo's 33rd birthday, too. Gandalf is not one of them.
