*Tom Morvolo Riddle sat in the same spot he always sat in when Ginny's mind was shut off in her sleep. He was in front of the statue of Salazar Slytherin, looking at his ruined diary in his hands. His intelligent dark eyes raised slowly to the beautiful red-haired woman standing before him. His brow raised and slowly he stood up, towering over her slight frame with the hope of intimidation but it no longer worked. Before she started to accept that he was still within her mind, she would cower before him and beg him not to harm her but now she was stronger than before and maybe even stronger than he was. His magical core helped hers, that was true, but he had no body, no wand and wasn't really alive so he was no longer able to use his magic without hers.

"They think Thanos will come the day after tomorrow" She told him "We need to be ready"

"And you're willing to use the magic you've not told the others I've taught you?" Riddle asked her, his eyes shining with malice.

"Only if I need to" Ginny answered "Not a second before"

"And you think you'll need to, don't you?" He pressed, stepping closer to her.

"I fear I will" She whispered "Which means you've got to be vigilant, you've got to be there in my mind to help me"

"And if I'm not?" He sneered "I'm not one for being the hero, you should remember that"

"If you're not then the Wizarding world and all the pure-bloods are gone" She answered "I know that you wouldn't want the superior race to be wiped out because of your stubbornness"

She was right, she knew that, and he did as well. He may be dead, and it may not affect him at all but there would be another to rise after him to make sure the superior race would not only persevere but would rule over the mudbloods and filthy muggles as he'd wished to do. He would help the little spitfire and maybe, if he was lucky, he'd be able to convince her at some point to take up his good work. She was talented, smart, magical, pure-blooded and with him in her mind she would be unstoppable.

"Then tomorrow" Tom told her, a strange glint in his eyes "We'll fight and we will win" *

Ginny's eyes snapped open and she looked around her bedroom in George's flat. She could hear the couple fighting in the living room in hushed tones, she'd told them what she knew and while Loki told her that he'd be unable to help, she could tell that he wanted to and it surprised her. Today was a day, if they were correct in their assumption today was the day that they would be fighting Thanos. With a heavy heart and her feet feeling like lid Ginny stood from her bed, She got dressed pulled her hair back and made her way into the living room standing silently in the corner listening to the fighting.

"It's not too difficult" Loki said "I have to look like Stark, do what he has to do, be hit and then it's over"

"Exactly" George hissed at him "It'll be over and I'll have lost another person"

"I am very hard to kill" Loki promised.

"Why do you have to be the one to do this?" George asked "Someone else can do it or we can lock Tony up"

"I'm not doing this for him or even Hermione" Loki told him "I'm doing it because I now have a lot to lose if Thanos isn't stopped"

Ginny stopped listening then, she could hear them continuing to speak but it was too sad because she knew what it was he had to lose. His new family, her family. She snuck out of the apartment, amazed that they didn't know or maybe they just knew they couldn't stop her. She met Hermione and Tony at the agreed upon spot and they whisked away to the field that they'd seen themselves fighting the alien in so many months before. It was a rather unimpressive area to look at, a field with some hills and rocks and water to one side. Ginny looked at the married couple as they walked around talking, no one other than a select few knew about what she'd seen in her vision, they didn't know the fate that may await them. There was a sound and a round golden/orange ring appeared, then Doctor Strange stepped out of it and looked around before taking Ginny's appearance in.

"Strange" Tony greeted "What is it?"

"I was wrong about the timeframe" He told them, his eyes slid to Ginny again. He took in her jeans and purple tank top with her long red hair in the ponytail and raised his chin a little. He felt a pang deep in his chest, Stephan Strange hid his emotions well but it didn't mean that he didn't have them. She was just a girl, young as hell and shouldn't have the weight of this war on her shoulders.

"What do you mean?" Tony asked, all business now. There was a noise and they all looked toward the sky where a huge ship was slowly making its way lower and lower towards the ground.

"It's happening today" Strange whispered, as if they didn't already figure that out. Ginny pulled out the coins that they'd revamped during the war and pressed it and thought hard about what she wanted it to say.

All around the magical world the coins in the pockets of many DA and order members started to heat up. They pulled them out and looked at the messages written on them 'it's happening now, get to the field' everyone apparated to the field, one by one, the open grassy area started to fill out with witches, wizards and enhanced humans ready to fight. Ginny looked around, tears stinging the back of her eyes as she thought about possibly losing the ones she loved the most. There was the possibility that a child would lose her father and many more could be lost. Slowly, the ship landed and opened its doors and the creatures started to leave it, one by one the creatures became more and more fearsome. Then she saw the biggest of them all step off the ship, he was muscular and purple with a terrifying face. His eyes narrowed as they landed on the group of people ready and waiting to fight him at all costs, he smiled at their pitiful attempt to fight him. It was cute, really it was.

"Are you all here to welcome me?" Thanos asked with a laugh.

"We're here to stop you" Tony yelled back at him.

"You attempts are futile" Thanos informed them "I will wipe out half of humanity either way"

"You can try" Strange told him "But you'll lose, just go"

"There's no need for any bloodshed" Steve spoke calmly though anyone who knew him could tell he was ready for a fight.

"Just give in" Thanos ordered "It is so much better if you do, I will make it all quick and you may even survive"

"You won't give in then" Hermione asked "Please..."

"I am inevitable" Thanos told them, it was with those words they all knew what was going to happen. Ginny took a deep breath and let it out slowly, she pulled her wand from its holster and stood up straight.

"Yeah, well...so am I" She told him and with a battle cry that was echoed by the others on her side as she took off running towards him and his creatures, he didn't speak, merely smiled and held out his arm which made his creatures start running towards them.

A/N: Sorry it took so long and sorry the chapter is so short I have been battling some horrible writers block. I have like no thoughts at all, I hope this is okay, next chapter will be the battle and may take a while to get out because I want...no I NEED it to be perfect! Please leave a review and tell me if there is anything you want to see in the battle or afterwards.
