Hayley thought that the hallways of Castle Delta were confusing. That was until Madison, after getting directions from another Monarch Agent, led Hayley outside the compound and into what looked like a small town made from the ruins of the city before it. The streets were crowded, and Hayley could see different people in different colored robes burning what smelled like incense as they preached next to statues of what Hayley recognized as Titans.

"They're like the Kaiju Sisters" Madison explained, "Only these people see the Titans as the Earth's true saviors and try to ensure their own safety by showing their loyalty. Classic paranoia stuff most of the time, if you ask me."

"Most of the time?" Hayley asked.

"The two Infant Island natives, the two we're about to go see, are…unusual. They claim to speak on behalf of Mothra, and part of me thinks they have some kind of magic power, but we've never really figured it out for sure."

"But they can help us."

"They've never lied to us in the past. We can only hope they know more about your vision that I do. Ah, here we are."

Madison stopped in from on a large, rustic temple with a round, golden door at the top of a small flight of stairs. The door showed the aerial view of a moth-like creature. A sign above the door read in Japanese, Polynesian, and English: Temple of the Moth.

"They'll be in the middle of worship this time of day." Madison said, "But we're safe to enter."

The door to the temple opened with a massive creak as Madison and Hayley walked inside to one large chamber. The room had few windows, but Hayley did notice a different light coming from the other end of the room in the form of what resembled a massive egg. Sitting at the foot of the egg were two girls who looked exactly alike: both with dark skin, green hair that stopped at their chin, white tattoo markings, and tribal clothing. They seemed to be humming a song of some kind as they laid their hands on the egg, surrounded by four priestesses who had their heads bowed and were chanting along to the song.

Mosura ya Mosura.

Dongan kasakuyan indo muu

Rusuto uiraandoa, hanba hanbamuyan, randa banunradan

Tounjukara

Kasaku yanmu…

The more Hayley listened, the more she felt entranced by the words. Madison only snapped her to attention when she tapped her shoulder before pointing to a third girl nearby. She had light purple hair and wore glasses and a casual outfit. She seemed to be scribbling something down on a notepad.

Madison walked up and tapped her on the shoulder. "Mei!"

The girl whipped around, startled, but calmed down when she saw Madsion. "Oh, it's you."

"What are you doing here?" Madsion asked.

"I came to hear the song more and study it. There's something about it that I'm not quite sure about. There something that just…feels odd."

Madison shrugged, "Well, whatever the case, Hayley here needs to speak with the twins."

Mei looked to Hayley, and the two shook hands in greeting.

"You're in luck" Mei said, "Just go up there. They'll notice you."

Hayley wasn't quite sure, but she decided to give it a try. As she walked up, she stopped right at the line of priestesses, who had stopped singing.

"Hello" came a voice in Hayley's head. Startled Hayley noticed the twins turn around to face her, their hands remaining on the egg statue.

"You must be new here" they continued in unison, "Are you here to join us?"

"Actually" Hayley stuttered, "I'm here to ask for help. I think Mothra sent me a vision."

The priestesses murmured among each other in surprise, but the twins simply chuckled. "She has called to you, then. Tell us of your vision."

Hayley recounted it to the best that she could, though she hesitated at the mention of the three-headed creature; the twins looked grim and uneasy when she did. When she had finished, there was silence for a few moments.

"So," the twins finally concluded, "You seek passage to her island."

"If that's where she is" Hayley replied. The twins looked at each other in silent conversation, then nodded to Hayley, "Very well, we will show you the way."

Hayley felt delighted to hear it; the closer she got to Mothra, the faster she could save Boy.

"Follow us" they then said, heading towards the back of the temple, and Hayley willingly followed.

Many different facilities lay on the Australian coast, and far away from Castle Delta was a base for the Kaiju Sisters. This one lay under the disguise of a simple listening station, though it housed an array of giant tube-like structures: power generators. These generators created a special energy that they had harvested from the remains of the first Mechagodzilla, and now they were using it for their new project.

That night, the sensors at their command station began going off as something began approaching the facility. Soldiers were immediately called into action and the defense turrets were activated, but they were not prepared for the spiky creature that emerged from the water. Battra had sped ahead of Megaguirus and the others and now was desperate for his first taste of chaos and destruction…his favorite.

The soldiers immediately fired on the spiky larva, but the bullets harmlessly deflected off of the tough hide as it advanced. Then, the missile turrets fired, and Battra let out a screech of annoyance as its horn began to glow.

One of the soldiers lowered his gun. "Oh shi-"

Battra fired a beam of electricity that fried everyone in front of him and destroyed the turrets. With them out of the way, Battra continued, smashing through whatever got in his way and blasting the tanks and other vehicles that shot at him with lightning. He could hear the screams of the kaiju cultists as they ran, and it filled him with glee. Just then, he noticed the generator stations and could feel the energy radiating from them. Yeah, he'll have some of that.

The soldiers watched as Battra turned in a new direction.

"He's heading for the generators!" one of them shouted, and the soldiers doubled their efforts, only to be met with another lightning barrage. The fleeing cultists could only watch as Battra began to eat his way into the first tower, draining the power from it as the tower went up in a ball of fire. At this point, the soldiers and tanks had the Titan surrounded and were pouring everything they had on it. Suddenly, a charging sound could be heard, and the soldiers only had time to process it before a massive burst of lightning exploded from the towers, accompanied by a deafening screech as Battra let out one final attack that destroyed everything and everyone around him.

As the smoke cleared, Battra became fatigued from fighting and laid down inside the generators, soaking in all the energy he wanted.

The attack had not gone unnoticed; Anguirus, Varan and Baragon watched from a nearby cliff. Having recognized Battra's scent, they knew better than to intervene.

Just then, they heard a massive roar in the distance. It wasn't Megaguirus or Warbat, nor was it the King, but it DID sound incredibly angry. The two Titans immediately knew that The Black was about to experience a trial by Fire.

That same night, Taylor laid down on his bed in the dorm. Adrian, Mei, Boy, and Joel were already asleep on their own beds, but Taylor worried too much about Hayley; he hadn't heard from her ever since she had left to find answers.

Suddenly, Hana's voice came over the loudspeaker. "Taylor and Hayley Travis, report to command immediately. Your parents would like to see you."

Taylor didn't need any more reason; he took off out of the room and down the hall towards the command room.

For those of you who recognized the Mothra twins, these are indeed the ones from the Earth Godzilla trilogy. Don't judge me for using something from that particular trilogy; actually liked the Mothra twins in that series.
