Currently it has been hours since the incident and the cafeteria and currently Jaune was being lectured by Professor Goodwitch with Headmaster Ozpin just watching the whole lecture while taking a sip of his cup of coffee.
"Mr Arc I cannot believe you did something so reckless as to attack your fellow students without being provoked!"scolded Professor Goodwitch as she was pacing around Jaune.
"Unprovoked?! Those jerks were picking on Velvet like no tomorrow and you're saying I attacked them without being provoked?! They we're making fun of her and pulling on her ears so why aren't they getting punished?!"asked Jaune who wanted to know why they weren't getting lectured.
"If you must know they will be punished but they are currently in the infirmary being taking care of by the nurse until she gives the okay that they can come here and get their lecture as well but for now we are focusing on you!"explained Professor Goodwitch as she pointed her riding crop at him!
"So those guys will pay for what they did to Velvet?"asked Jaune wondering if his ears were deceiving him.
"Yes as soon as the nurse lets them go they will be lectured and punished as well for bullying a fellow student, and because they discriminated against her their punishment will be enforced."clarified Professor Goodwitch causing Jaune to let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank goodness I thought they were going to get away with the BS they were pulling on her."said Jaune who was happy that team CRDL was going to be punished as well.
"You don't seem to concerned that you're in trouble Mr Arc?"wondered Ozpin as he took a sip of his coffee.
"I honestly don't care if I get in trouble as I know I did the right thing and if I have to pay for it then that's what I have to do. One has to accept that their actions have consequences and have to be ready to face them."said Jaune who wasn't afraid to get a little bit of detention.
In his previous life he spent several months in detention for something he didn't do and was told to write an apology note but he refused as he did nothing wrong and didn't care how long he was in detention as he rather be in detention than admit he did anything wrong.
"Wise words Mr Arc. Certainly mature for someone as young as yourself."said Ozpin as he took another sip of his coffee.
"Yeah yeah so what do I get two months of detention?"asked Jaune who was ready to face the music.
"You will be getting detention but not that long since you did defend a fellow student against prejudicial bullying you shall only get a weekend of detention."said Headmaster Ozpin as Glynda looked at him with shock and she didn't expect his punishment to be that light.
"I will be ready to serve it tomorrow since tomorrow is the weekend."said Jaune with a determined look on his face.
"So can I go?"
"Yes Mr Arc you may return to your dorm room."said Ozpin as Jaune got out of his seat and excused himself before heading down to the elevator.
As soon as the elevator door open Jaune stepped into the elevator and waved goodbye as the elevator doors closed and began to descend.
"Why are you giving him such a light punishment when he beat up four of his fellow students?"asked Glynda wondering why her boss was going easy on Jaune Arc.
"Too many times I've seen bullying in my school because someone is different from someone else and quite frankly Glynda I am tired of it. We need our students to be united if we hope to create the next generation of Huntsman to defend the world...we both know what happens when we are divided."said Ozpin as he got out of his seat and looked out the window.
"Yes... I suppose as always you're right Professor Ozpin."said Glynda who hated to admit when her boss was right.
"Jaune Arc is an exceptional student and I can tell when the look in his eyes when he came in here to turn himself in that he was not afraid of consequences for doing what he thought was right. I wish others had that same determination like he displayed right now."said Ozpin as he watched Jaune head back to the dorm rooms from his tower.
"So have you learned if how the Arc family is tied to the Shimotsuki family?"asked Ozpin as he turned around to face his colleague.
"All I know is that they're two of the oldest families and all of Remnant's history but we both know that the Shimotsuki family is no more... because of...her..."said Glynda as Ozpin sat down in his chair and put his hands over his face.
"Yes ever since she encountered Shimotsuki Ryuma she has never wanted to encounter another human that was not afraid of her..."said Ozpin who was upset that such a great family disappeared off the face of Remnant.
"Now someone wields two swords made by a Shimotsuki... I hope those swords don't bring nothing but hardship onto Mr Arc..."said Glynda as despite her harsh attitude she truly cared about her students.
"I'm sure Mr Arc will be okay as I can tell in the looks of his eyes that he knows that the path of the warrior has a untold number of hardships."said Ozpin who knew this philosophy to be all too true...
Both Professor's became silent as they began thinking about what is to come...

A short while later Jaune arrived back to his dorm room and assumed everyone was asleep and so he got a surprise tackle attack from Nora!
"Fearless leader I'm so glad you're okay!"said Nora as she hugged Jaune very tightly with a grip similar to a bear!
"Nora I can't breathe!...Ren help!"pleaded Jaune as Ren came to his rescue and help him slip from Nora's vice-like grip.
"Nora I told you you can't hug someone like that unless they're used to it."scolded Ren as he karate chopped Nora on the head!
'My goodness Ren...just how many times have you been bear hugged that you have gotten use to it?' thought Jaune who felt sorry for Ren as only he knows how many times Nora hugged him so hard that he had to get used to it.
"Sorry Ren...sorry fearless leader I was just so worried."said Nora as she was rubbing her head.
"So what did Headmaster Ozpin have to say after you turn yourself in?"asked Pyrrah as she walked over to her teammates and friends.
"He said I only get one weekend of detention and then I'm scott free."said Jaune surprising his teammates as they didn't expect his punishment to be so light!
"Wow Jaune I can't believe you got off beating up those jerks with such a light punishment."said Pyrrah who would have never expected that in one hundred years.
"Yeah normally you would get at least a month of punishment for doing that but I guess the Headmaster must have light in it because you were defending another student."theorized Ren although he was not sure.
"Yeah I like the way how you broke their legs Jaune Jaune!"said Nora with a... scary amount of enthusiasm.
"Nora I didn't break their legs I just used some martial arts I practice over and over again as a kid."said Jaune who would never admit that he read them in a manga and just practiced them in real life back in his previous life.
"Yeah but I'm glad you defended that girl Jaune as that's what a proper Huntsman does."said Pyrrah who was proud of her partner.
"Thanks Pyrrah I'm glad I did that myself since I really couldn't just sit back and watch her getting bullied just because she was different."said Jaune as he always believed in equal rights even in his previous life.
"I personally believe that people should not be judged for what they look like on the outside by their character on the inside. That philosophy has been with me for a long time."said Jaune as he thinks he was quoting some famous Civil Rights leader but he couldn't remember his name as there were so many people famous for civil rights.
"Wow Jaune you're just impressing me more and more the more I get to know you."said Nora as she tried to hug him again only to be stopped by Ren.
"Thank you Ren... another few good minutes of that anaconda strangle and I would have been lifeless."said Jaune who compared Nora's hug to being strangled by an anaconda.
"Your welcome and if you ever get caught up in her antics just let me know."said Ren as Pyrrah began yawning.
"Well I think we all had an exciting day today so I think we should all get some sleep."suggested Pyrrah with everyone else agreeing.
"Yeah just let me change into my pajamas in the bathroom and I'll hit the sack."said Jaune as he picked up his pajamas from his dress drawer and made his way to the bathroom to change.
A few minutes later he returned to the dorm room and saw his entire team was sound asleep.
Jaune was about to hit the sack when he decided to go for a little walk as that was his nightly routine to get some sleep.
"I think I'll go back to the courtyard since the smell of nature really helps me get some sleep."said Jaune as he started slowly making his way away from the dorm room so that his friends wouldn't hear him as he didn't want to wake them up.

A few minutes later Jaune was in the outside courtyard sitting on a bench admiring the scenery of the night sky showing the beauty of the trees and flowers from a nightly perspective.
"Hey you!"yelled a female voice as Jaune saw Velvet following a girl wearing fashionable clothing with a beret and sunglasses.
"I heard you defended bun bun earlier today."said the girl as Velvet tried to stop her.
"Coco please stop."pleaded Velvet to deaf ears.
"I'm assuming you're talking about Velvet."said Jaune as he wondered what her relationship was to Velvet.
"Yeah I'm Coco Adel and Velvet is one of my teammates and closest friends. I thought I should personally thank the guy who defended bun bun when I was not looking."said Coco as Velvet felt like she was going to die of embarrassment.
"It's really no big deal as I just did what I thought was the right thing. After all she didn't do anything to deserve the treatment she was getting so I decided to have a talk with those guys and things ended up getting violent that's all."
"Well aren't you humble. Most guys would have played the hero card to try to ask her out on a date."said Coco with a grin as Velvet felt like she wanted to crawl under a rock.
"I would never do that besides... I'm not really good with talking to pretty girls as the only only girls I ever really interacted with in my life where my mom and seven sisters."said Jaune who has never really been close to a girl outside of his family.
"Wow I got to admire you as it takes stones to admit that as most guys have a stupid sense of self pride but it's clear you don't."said Coco as Jaune wasn't sure if he should feel congratulated or insulted.
"I like a guy who can keep it in his pants so it's nice to meet you."said Coco has she extended her hand in friendship.
Jaune shook the hand in return and was surprised how strong her grip was as he could tell that whatever her weapon was it was extremely heavy.
"Thank you again for helping me out with Cardin and his gang of goons Jaune."said Velvet nervously as her ears flopped a little.
"No problem and if you ever need help with those guys again don't be afraid to call for help even though I know you could have taken them all yourself."said Jaune who knew that velvet was skilled in hand to hand combat based on her physique.
"Yeah good luck with that she could have easily beaten those guys up but because of her shyness that's probably never going to happen."said Coco as Velvet turned red like a tomato.
"Well it's nice meeting you Blondie I hope we meet again."said Coco and she took Velvet by the hand as the two wave their hands goodbye.
"Man this place is full of pretty girls as I haven't met a girl yet here who wasn't hot or cute...I really wish I had more confidence but hey I'm not really that good looking and my personality is garbage so there's no way any pretty girl I know is going to ask me out... not that it matters since I've never been on a date before..."said Jaune as he chuckled at himself realizing how sad it was that he has never been on a date with a girl before.
"Well time to head back to the dorm room before anything else exciting happens."said Jaune as he headed back to the dorm rooms to get some sleep.
Back in his team's room he snuck into his bed and quickly covered himself in the sheets glad that no one noticed not noticing that a certain redhead had seen everything and smiled as she looked at him with a blush on her face.
