"...They are late..."said Jaune to himself as he was checking his scroll as he was waiting for three members of team RWBY to show up for their practice section where he planned to show them some of the techniques of the legendary warrior Kozuki Oden.
In reality he was planning to combine techniques from several warriors like Roronoa Zoro, Brook, Ryuma, and Oden...those where the techniques he at least knew in his arsenal.
'I still haven't mastered two sword style techniques so my arsenal of two sword style techniques is limited... in reality I know more one sword style techniques thanks to my full control over Wado Ichimonji.' thought Jaune as he was pacing around as this was getting ridiculous at this point.
They are the ones who asked him to teach them techniques of legendary warriors and they were late on him...?!
Jaune stood in one place and began tapping his foot as even the Buddha had his limits!
"Jaune..."said Pyrrha nervously as she peaked her head into the training hall.
"They are not showing up are they..."said Jaune as he had a feeling that was what Pyrrha was going to say as one does not grow up with a household of mainly women without picking up a thing or two about their mindset.
Pyrrah just nodded her head nervously as Jaune let out of sigh of frustration.
"What happened?!"
"Yeah... they're not coming, Ruby just told me. Weiss and Blake got into a major fight in the city about the White Fang and the Faunus and they continued to argue all the way back to Beacon... she said she was really sorry for wasting your time."said Pyrrha who hated to be the bearer bad news as a time she was too nice for her own good.
"I had a feeling this was going to happen sooner or later since one of them doesn't know when the back down for her good."said Jaune who felt like he was going to get a headache with dealing with a bunch of BS from one certain spoiled princess.
"Jaune I'm sorry you had to go through this. I know you were even recalibrating sword techniques to match Ruby's fighting style along with the others."said Pyrrha as she knew how hard Jaune worked on his game plan to teach most of team RWBY sword techniques even though they use different weapons compared to him.
"Pyrrah you have nothing to apologize for. After all it's not your fault that they skipped on practice even though a certain someone kept pestering me to be here at a certain time."said Jaune, even though he figured he shouldn't be too mad at Ruby as if it wasn't for her teammates she would have certainly been here as she was really looking forward to add new techniques to her arsenal.
"Jaune if you're thinking of going to their dorm room I don't think it's a good idea as there still arguing Non-Stop and neither one of them is backing down."said Pyrrha as she didn't want Jaune to get hurt a situation like this can quickly get out of hand with one misspoken word or someone sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.
"Trust me last thing I want to do is to get into a cat fight. Don't want them turning on me in beating me up for no reason just because I was at the wrong place at the wrong time."said Jaune who knew from experience how ugly fights between girls can get thanks to living with seven sisters.
He still have some mental scars from moments where his sisters blamed him for sticking his nose in their business... his sister's could be really unreasonable at times.
"Besides I'm sure if they just get out of their systems and properly talk it out everything will be just fine..."said Jaune although he had a feeling he just foreshadowed something that was going to quickly spiral out of control.
[Several days later]
"I knew I shouldn't have opened my big mouth as I should have known that something like this was going to happen."grumbled Jaune as he was currently walking through the streets of Vale looking for Blake.
The person who ended up running away several days ago from Beacon academy after she accidentally revealed to her friends that she was a former member of the White Fang, the faunus terrorist organization responsible for multiple terrorist attacks all across Remnant that included kidnapping, Dust robbery, and political assassinations.
"How did I get rope into this but the rest of my team didn't?"askedJaune as the rest of team RWBY were walking close behind him.
Jaune was the only member of team JNPR that was currently helping out as Nora got her hands on some maple syrup and now Ren was literally hunting her down at Beacon trying to make sure she doesn't do too much damage as the last time Nora had too much maple syrup... well he didn't go into too many details but he said it got really ugly real fast.
Pyrrah couldn't help as although she was a prodigy even she was forgetful at times as she forgot to turn in a homework assignment for Professor Goodwitch...Jaune really felt bad for his partner as he knew first-hand how scary the professor could be despite the fact she was really pretty.
He felt even more bad as she would be spending her detention with Professor Port...may the brothers have mercy on her soul as Pyrrha didn't deserve the mental anguish she was about to get.
"Sorry for roping you into this Jaune but we need it as much people we could get as Vale is a big place in Blake could be anywhere."said Ruby who felt bad that her bestie was helping them out with a situation he had nothing to do with.
"Sorry Samurai boy, we promise we'll make it up to you later."said Yang as Jaune and the rest of them were looking at any places they would expect like to be.
They already looked at the bookstore, the fish market, and the local weapon shops to see if anyone has seen her but there was no luck.
"I say when we find her we turn her into the police."said Weiss as everyone turned around to glare at her.
"Weiss..."said Ruby in a annoyed tone of voice as Weiss has not been helping out looking for their friend at all and her attitude was starting to get on her nerves.
"I'm just saying that we should get the police involved as we have been living with a criminal since semester began."said Weiss with her usual stuck up attitude.
"Okay... that is it! I've been hearing your nonsense all day and I have had it! So let's go to that alleyway over there and talk."said Jaune as he grabbed Weiss by her ear and literally dragged her to the alleyway.
"OW! Hey let go my ear!"complained Weiss and she was dragged into the alleyway with Ruby and Yang looking on wondering what was going to happen.
"Should we help her?"asked Ruby as they heard several loud noises coming from the alleyway before Jaune started yelling.
"No... the Ice Queen needs a scolding."said Yang as she covered Ruby's ears as Jaune was starting to use... really harsh language as he began scolding Weiss for her bad attitude and recent behavior.
Both Yang and Ruby felt bad for Weiss it's not even their father ever talked to them like that when he was upset with them for their bad behavioral like almost getting themselves hurt...well... Weiss kind of deserves it both of them thought as Ruby and Yang could hear that she was being severely scolded as they have never seen Jaune that angry before.
Moments later Jaune and Weiss exited the alleyway and based on the redness of her eyes it was clear Weiss had been crying earlier because she was severely scolded for her bad attitude.
"Okay... I feel a lot better now so let's go find Blake."said Jaune as team RWBY followed him close behind with Ruby and Yang looking at Weiss, who's the first time was actually being quiet.
"Hey guys!"said a girl about Ruby's size with reddish orange hair with a pink bow in her hair.
"Ah Penny where did you come from?!"asked Ruby as everyone else jumped back as they didn't feel her presence at all.
"So this is the girl they met the day Weiss and Blake began fighting."said Jaune who earlier got a recap of what went down exactly from Ruby the day Blake disappeared.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Penny."said Penny as she and Jaune shook hands and Jaune was surprised that for a girl her size she had a really strong grip.
"Hi I'm Jaune."said Jaune as Penny looked over at Weiss.
"Why was Weiss crying earlier?"she asked.
"She got scolded earlier for her bad attitude."said Yang as Penny appeared to ponder on this for a moment before deciding to change the subject.
"So what are you all doing in Vale?"
"We're looking for Blake, she has been missing since Friday."explained Ruby and she figured Penny wouldn't go away unless she told her what was going on.
"Oh you mean the faunus girl."said Penny surprising everyone.
"How did you know that?"asked Weiss.
"Um the cat ears."said Penny and she pointed to her head.
"What cat ears she wears a...bow..."said Yang as for some reason a tumbleweed tumbled past them.
"She does like tuna a lot..."said Ruby now that she thought of it.
"And her eyes are cat-like."said Jaune as he always noticed her eyes along with the fact that her bow twitched every now and again... cat ears would certainly explain that.
"Don't worry Ruby I'll help you find her."said Penny as she grabbed Ruby by her shoulders.
"Um it's okay Penny we have it covered..."said Ruby only to notice that everyone besides Jaune had completely disappeared on her.
"They both ran away the moment you turned away."said Jaune as he didn't run away as he could never do that to Ruby... he was her best friend after all.
Soon another tumbleweed tumbled past them as Ruby had a feeling this was going to be an interesting search.
"Why are there so many tumbleweeds, we're in the city?"wondered Jaune as he hoped nothing more surprising what happened.
[Several hours later]
"I really need to stop foreshadowing as it's not good for my health!"said Jaune that's currently his group was running towards the docs as fast as they could as they saw smoke coming from the docks.
Soon the group consisting of him, Ruby, and Penny arrived at the dogs just in time to see Blake along with some monkey faunus fighting Roman Torchwick and the White Fang, who for some reason we're in cahoots.
"Great..."said Jaune as he pulled out Wado Ichimonji and descended from the building they were on to take on the White Fang.
Several White Fang soldiers tried to take him on but Jaune proceeded to use his superior strength against them by swinging Wado Ichimonji with great force. He trying to several of them as one tried to shoot them from behind. Jaune jumped into the air and delivered a downward slash cutting the grunt's weapon and knocking him to the ground.
Penny surprisingly despite her looks was actually a gifted fighter as several blades came out of some kind of backpack she was wearing and she proceeded to run into to the docks and take on several members of the White fang easily as they were clearly no match for her.
Jaune then remember that he has heard several rumors that Atlas academy had some prodigy of their own who they were confident would win the Vytal festival in he quickly realized that that student was Penny.
His thoughts were soon interrupted by the sound of several bullheads flying towards the dock and began firing from their automatic weapons towards the group.
Jaune put away Wado Ichimonji and took out Enma.
"One Sword Style Technique..."
Soon the blades sinister energy started to surround him as he grab it with both hands and jumped into the air towards one of the bullheads. A few seconds later he let it on a crate as he was sheathing Enma back into it's scabbard.
"Lion's Song..." said Jaune as with one quick motion he sheathed the sword just as the Bullhead was split in two with one clean cut as Jaune had used the very technique Zoro used to cut Mr 1 back in Alabasta.
Penny meanwhile took care of the second Bullhead by focusing her blades into a circular formation before a laser came out of them and cut the bullhead in two with pinpoint precision.
Roman on the other hand felt that the heat was getting too intense for his legging so he decided to retreat in one of the Bullheads that wasn't destroyed.
"These kids just get weirder and weirder."said Roman as the Bullhead took off into the skies just as the sound of sirens could be heard from the distance.
Jaune meanwhile saw this so he decided to give Roman a parting gift. Jaune proceeded to unsheathe Enma in a fast motion and swung it so hard it delivered a blast of concentrated energy towards Roman. While the Bullhead was not struck Roman wasn't so lucky as he was struck in the shoulder causing a large cut to appear as his Aura had been used up earlier in the fight with Blake so he did not have enough to protect him from Jaune's attack.
Jaune smiled as he put Enma back in the sheath as he could hear Roman cursing at him as he was holding his wound in pain as the bullhead disappeared into the night sky as Jaune stumbled a bit before regaining his footing as Enma still took a lot out of him.
About a good half hour later Weiss and Yang appeared at the docks just after everyone gave their statements to the police.
Ruby was currently drinking some hot cocoa wondering where Penny was. Jaune saw Penny get into a limousine and drive off as most likely she was handed back to Atlas custody as she was a student of Atlas.
"Weiss I..."said Blake before she was interrupted by Weiss.
"No, I don't need to hear it. I have had all day to think about everything that happened between us and after... getting scolded I started to really think and then I realized that... I don't care. I don't care who you were before we met. You have had my back these last several weeks despite the fact that I can be a royal pain in the butt and I realize I shouldn't judge you for the actions of others. You are my friend Blake and like Jaune said when he was scolding me I need to give you a chance. Just because I had a difficult childhood doesn't mean I have the right to take out my anger on someone who didn't deserve it."said Weiss before looking over at the monkey faunus.
"You... I'm still not sure what to feel about you."said Weiss as the faunus just raise his hands in false surrender.
Weiss then turned her attention towards Jaune and walked up to him.
"As much as I hate to admit it I actually have begun to respect you more as you're one of the few people who has ever had the nerve to talk to me with such harsh words. I know I've been difficult these last several weeks and I honestly need to improve myself as a person."
"Good, I'm glad you're finally improving yourself."said Jaune before Weiss did something unexpected and kissed him on the cheek.
"This is a thank you but don't think I forgiven you for the way you've treated me."said Weiss as she turned around with a blush on her face as she left a confused Jaune, who was holding his cheek.
"What just happened?"wondered Jaune who wasn't sure what exactly was going on... after all he's only ever interacted with the members of his family so he didn't know much about the opposite sex.
Why did Weiss kiss him on the cheek? And why was everyone else minus the other guy looking at him like he was being oblivious?
He really didn't get girls...

"Man this really hurts!"said Roman he was wrapping medical bandages around his wound after rubbing it with rubbing alcohol so it wouldn't get infected.
Roman was groaning in pain before noticing that someone else was in the room with him... specifically several someone's.
"So you decided to come back empty-handed."said a woman with black hair wearing a red dress.
"Hey you were the one who suggested working with those mutts from the White Fang."said Roman as he finished wrapping his bandages around his wound.
"And you will continue to work with them. The plan hasn't changed Roman... I expect you to cooperate... after all it's too much of a pain to find a replacement."said the woman has she made a ball of fire appeared in her hand.
"But don't think for a moment you're not expendable if you start being a nuisance!"
Well there you go everyone I finally finished volume 1.
Now some of you are going to complain that I'm being too cliche with the whole Weiss kissing him on the cheek moment but I honestly don't care.
This is my story and I'm going to write it the way I want it!
Anyway next chapter won't be out for a while as I began to work on the plans for how I'm going to write Volume 2 of the story.
