The tale will have no shortage of murder and mayhem. With his new stake in Black Pawn, Rick is also dealing with his writing commitments. A character introduced in "California Dreaming' will be part of Rick's solution.

Richard Rogers has the ability to see what his future holds. At first, he thinks it's a curse but his mother keeps him performing to keep them eating. It's a lonely life but he is determined to become something more. Kate Beckett only believes in what she can see, touch, hear and smell. It is what makes her so good at her job. This is the 7th story in the Different Road Taken AU. This story finds Richard Castle and Kate Beckett leaving the west coast temporarily, flying back to the east coast for the wedding of Kevin and Jenny. A chance to visit with old friends and loved ones . . . what could possibly go wrong?
