Chapter 16 : The Clash Beetwen Darkness and Flame! Juliano D, Julius vs Portgas D, Ace!
( Eastern Port, Water 7 )
Julius, Do-S, and Kalifa have arrived at the eastern port of Water 7 to see what their ship is look like.
"This your ship." Kalifa said.
Julius and Do-S turned their gaze at the very big ship in front of them. "Wow! This is the ship that I really want!" Julius said in awe.
"With a ship of this size, we can accommodate many people to become slaves!" Do-S smirked.
The ship was really like a large battleship with eagle figurehead. The ship aslo has a very large deck, and also has a very tall tower for crow's nest. The ship holds twenty cannons, seven traditional cannons on each side of the ship, four cannons on the back of the ship, and one special cannon on the front of the ship. This ship has a black colour on average and with a gold sail.
"Let's board to the ship and let me explain the inside of the ship." Kalifa said.
The three of them walked boarded to the ship and they entered the first floor of the ship. "This is the first floor or the main room of the ship. On this floor, there are a living room, kitchen, dining room and the place for you to gather around. It will take a long time for me to explain it all so you can check it by yourself."
Julius and Do-S walked around the first floor and their eyes widen in awe. The inside of this ship is very luxurious with a very spacious main room and also large windows that allow people inside to see the beautiful sea view from the inside. In the main room there are decorations such as statues and paintings.
"Yeah, It is very nice." Julius said.
"Now let me show you the second floor." Kalifa said.
Julius and Kalifa followed Kalifa was walking towards the second floor through the stairs. Arriving on the 2nd floor, they saw a lot of doors that they believed to be bedrooms.
"This the second floor. The men's quarters and the girls quarters is located in here. There are also a captain rooms, sickbay, and some empty rooms that you can use according to your needs. This ship only has two floors and there is also a basement that is used as a storage area." Kalifa explained.
"Thanks for the explanation." Julius smiled at Kalifa.
Kalifa nodded her head and turned around. "So, I'll take my leave then."
However, before Kalifa went any further, Julius suddenly grabbed her shoulder which made her turned around and gave Julius a cold stare.
"Why are you such in a hurry? You can spend a lot of time here, with me." Julius smiled.

Muzan only smiled and slowly, he walked towards Ace. "Your flame is useless against me. I ate mythical zoan devil fruit, Hito-Hito no Mi model demon. It gave an incredible physical durability. No matter how much damage I receive, my body will regenerate quickly."

"Shinka Shiranui!" This time, Ace gave Muzan a surprise attack. Ace hurled long lances made out of fire towards Muzan.
However, with his arms that still being stretched, Muzan whipped those long fire lances and made them disappeared. Muzan immediately ran towards Ace and again, in the blink of an eye he appeared behind Ace and whipped Ace's back with his arm which made Ace's back wounded and he groaned in pain.

"One of my ability." Muzan simply said.

"Hiken!" Ace turned his fist into flames and he launched it as a dense of column of fire at Muzan which made Muzan surprised and shocked.

Ace eyes widen as he heard the voice from behind and he knew that the voice was Muzan's voice. He turned around quickly and saw Muzan who was walking towards him. Ace saw that Muzan's whole body already burned which made his skin peel off. However, what makes Ace confused is how Muzan can still walk and talk like nothing happened to him.
"I already used my haki on my attack before. How can you…." Ace muttered in disbelief.
"That's why my body don't regenerate quickly like before. It needs time for me to regenerate all of wound." Muzan said.

For the second time, Ace turned his fist into flames and launched it to Muzan.
"Black Hole!"
But suddenly, a black smoke appeared on the area and that black smoke absorbed Ace's fire fist in an instant which made Ace surprised again.
On the other hand, Muzan smirked cause he knew the one who had the ability to create a black smoke like that. "You're a little bit late, Julius."
"It's 10.02 PM! I'm only two minutes late!" Julius suddenly appeared from the black smoke and snapped at Muzan.
"Where's that woman?" Muzan asked.
"Ah, Do-S is still on the ship and she's on the way here. I heard an explosion here so I immediately left the ship and went here to see what is happening." Julius said.
Muzan nodded his head and he turned his gaze towards Ace again. "We're so lucky cause I encountered the second commander division of Whitebeard pirates."
Hearing that, Julius immediately turned his gaze at Ace and smirked. "Oh! Are you the infamous Hiken no Ace?"
"Yes, I am. So, I guess you are his captain right?" Ace asked.
"You're right! Let me introduce myself, I'm Juliano D, Julius and I am the captain of Juliano pirates! I'm a new pirate and I only have 2 crews in my ship. This man who you are fighting now, Kibutsuji Muzan and the other one is still on the ship! Are you interesting to join my crew?" Juliu asked.
However, Ace's eyes widened a little bit because he remembered Juliano D, Julius was one of Strawhats pirate and the former vice captain of Strawhat pirate and even Luffy has talked about him when he met his brother in Arabasta.
Flashback
The Strawhat pirate are now in Arabasta. With the princes of Arabasta, Nefertari Vivi, they were planning on take down one of the Shicibukai, Crocodile and save the Arabasta. But it was a surprise for them, especially for Luffy because he met his big brother, Ace here which made Luffy was very happy.
It was a nighttime now, they have been travelling for the entire day now and Vivi estimated there would be another half's day of travel to Yuba. By now, everyone could feel the cold of the desert at the night.
Sitting by the fire, Ace saw the finally his brother started his own journey and managed to gather people to became his crew. However, Ace was curious about something or someone who supposed to be the part of the crew.
"Luffy, can I ask you a question?" Ace asked.
"Hmm? What?" Luffy asked.
"My puropose to the Grandline is simply to meet you and I want to know how you're doing. But I've read news about you and your pirate especially when you had your first bounty. I saw your wanted poster with 30 million berry and a guy who the marine said the vice captain of Strawhat pirate, Juliano D, Julius. Where is he?" Ace asked.
Hearing Julius name, all the Strawhats except Chopper and Vivi lowered their heads and some of them like Luffy, Ussop, and Nami grifted their teeth in anger. Ace gulped cause he felt the sudden change of their emotion and he really had no idea about this.
"EHH!? The vice captain!? I thought Zoro is the vice captain!" Chopper surprised as he looked at Zoro.
"Since Julius left, now I'm the vice captain. You're not wrong Chopper." Zoro said.
"Julius? Do you mean the hot guy with the long black hair who I saw on your ship when we were at the Twin Cape?" Vivi asked.

Hearing that. Ace nodded his head and seemed he understand what was goin on beetwen Julius and the whole crew. He then turned his gaze at Luffy and smiled.

"He has a dream and that's why he left us. The point is, he thought he couldn't achieve his dream if he's with us." Sanji said.
"WHAT A STUPID DREAM! King of the world!? This world doesn't have a king!" Nami shouted which made Vivi and Chopper surprised.
"N-Nami-San…" Vivi whispered.
Chopper immediately ran towards Ussop and hid behind Ussop's leg. "Ussop! I'm scared!"
"Don't worry Chopper. Everytime someone is talking about Julius, Nami suddenly become an evil and will snap everyone around her." Ussop said.

And again, Sanji is the chef on our ship and the one who serves the food for all of us is Sanji. "What are you talking about?" Nami suddenly asked.

"Hm? How do you know?" Julius asked.

"Huh? What are you talking about? Who is your brother?" Julius was confuse.
"Luffy! I'm Luffy's brother!" Ace snapped at Julius.
Julius surprised cause he never knew that Luffy had a brother and what surprised him the most was the fact that Luffy's brother is Hiken no Ace, the second commander division of Whitebeard pirate.
"W-What!? He never said that he has a brother!" Julius shocked.
"Maybe you never ask." Ace said.
Julius eyes widen at Ace answered cause when he tought about it, Ace was right. He never asked Luffy about his family or his parents.
"Y-Yeah. You're right. But forget that! Join me and become my crew! Together, we will rule this wolrd!" Julius smirked.
"I'm sorry but I can't do that. I already told you friend there that I won't join your crew cause the one who is gonna be a king is only Shirohige and the one who will make Shirohige become a king is me." Ace said.
Julius just sighed and it looked like he disappointed with Ace's answer. "What a shame."
"But captain, how about we capture him and hand him to the marine so you can fill the place for the Shicibukai." Muzan said.
Suddenly, Julius eyes widen and smirked. "You think well, Muzan.". Julius then turned his gaze at Ace and he smiled at him. "So, unfortunately I have to beat you here and hand you to the marines. After all, Shirohige will save you if you're in a danger situation because what I know, Shirohige is the type of man who couldn't stand see his subordinates die or hurt."
"Hehehe you're right but don't miss understand. He won't save me cause I won't lose to you and the one who's gonna fall is you!" Ace smirked.
Julius just smirked and looked at Muzan who was standing beside him. "Stay out of this Muzan. I'll beat him and you better go the ship and tell Do-S that after this, we're going to the Marinford to hand Hiken no Ace to the marines."
"Yes, captain." Muzan answered and suddenly he disappeared.
After Muzan left, Julius turned his gaze back at Ace and a black smoke appeared around his body. "You're a logia aren't you? Then let's decide who is the strongest logia user!"
"You asked for it!" Ace smiled. "Hiken!" Ace quickly shot his fire fist towards Julius.
Julius eyes widen a little because he was a little bit surprise by Ace's attack and he barely managed to dodge that. He took a few step back and he pointed his palm towards Ace.
"Kurouzu!"
Ace's entire body felt weird because he felt like he was getting pulled towards Julius and he widened his eyes when he was literally pulled towards Julius.
"Black slash!" Julius took out his sword and slashed Ace with his sword that already coated by his darkness power which made Ace wounded and spit out blood from his mouth.
Seeing Ace who was falling into the ground, Julius smirked and looked down at Ace. "Come on don't disappoint me. I expect a good fight from the second commander divison of Whitebeard pirate!"
Ace slowly stood up to his feet and gave Julius a sharp stare. "Like you friend, you have a weird ability. It was like I was being pulled by the gravity."
"You're right. I ate yami-yami no mi which give me a power of darkness. I can neutralize all devil fruit ability which is the devil fruit user is useless against me." Julius smiled.
However, Julius eyes widen when he saw a very bright fire balls fly surround him and he had no idea those fire balls was created by Ace.
"Hotarubi : Hidurama!"
BOOM!
Suddenly, those fire balls exploded and burned Julius' whole body and made Julius screamed in pain.
"Jujika!" Didn't stop there, Ace placed his index fingers together in a cross shape before launching a cross-shaped column of fire directly at Julius.
BOOM!
A massive explosion happened and made the whole area around there was burning in fire. Ace took a deep breath and smiled and felt a little bit relief cause he thought Julius was already beaten. But that smiled disappeared when he saw a black smoke suddenly appeared and absorbed all the flames around there.
"Cough! Cough! Gzzzz! I feel like my whole body is burning now!"
Ace eyes widen as he saw Julius who slowly stood up and he saw that Julius wasn't injured at all even though half of his clothes was burned.
Julius then turned his gaze at Ace and he smirked. "You're strong. I admit that. It is a waste if I have to capture you here and hand you the marine. I'll ask you once again and please think wisely. Do you want to become my crew and help me to become the king of the world or, you'll get beaten here and I'll hand you the marines."
Ace just smiled and shook his head slowly. "You just don't gei it, do you? I'll never join you crew or anyone else crew cause until the day I die, I'll be part of Whitebeard pirate and I swear I'm gonna make him the king of pirates!"
Julius just sighed and the who now shook his head is him. He took out his sword again and pointed it out towards Ace. "You leave me no choice. I feel sorry for Luffy cause If he knows about this, he's gonna mad at me."
A massive black smoke popped out and burst into the sky. The whole area around there was already covered by the black smoked and what made Ace a little bit shivered was when he saw Julius' entire body covered by the black smoke and his eyes turned red.
"You're going all out, aren't you?" Ace narrowed his eyes.
"I will end this fight cause I don't want to waste any time anymore." Julius answered.
"You're saying like you could beat me anywhen and anytime you want. But I think I'm going to all out too." Ace said.
"Dai Enkai : Entei!"
Ace created a large spiraling fire centered on his location and amassing it at a focused point and Ace turned it into gigantic fireball resembling the sun.
Julius a little bit shocked on how big the fireball that Ace was created. "I have no idea that you are able to create a sun."
"This my ultimate technique. You have no chance to win." Ace said.
"Then let's prove it." Julius smirked.
"UAAAAAAAAA!" Ace roared and charged into Julius. He hurled his gigantic sun at Julius and tried to obilerate Julius by his ultimate attack.
However, Julius also charged into Ace and all the black smoke that covered Julius's body spreaded and Julius made a massive big black ball just like what Ace did but it made by the darkness. Julius hurled his attack towards Ace's attack and both their attacks collided and created such big shock wave.
BOOOOOM!

( Julius' Ship )
Muzan had arrived at the ship and saw Do-S who was standing on the deck. Seeing Muzan came, Do-S immediately ran towards him.
"Where is captain!?" Do-S asked.
"Fighting." Muzan simply answered.
"Figthing? Fighting who!?" Do-S asked.
"Hiken no Ace." Muzan answered.
Do-S eyes widen cause she knew the reputation of Hiken no Ace, the 2nd commander of Whitebeard pirate and Ace must be a strong fighter.
"A-Ace!? Hiken no Ace!? Are you kidding me!? Why the hell is here and why did captain fight with him!?" Do-S shouted.
"Lower your voice or I'll rip you mouth and your tounge so you can speak anymore. Julius is fighting him in order to capture him and hand him to marine so we can fill the place of Shicibukai." Muzan said.
Do-S narrowed her eyes and gave Muzan a death strare and she groaned in annoyance cause she didn't like the way Muzan answered her question. But she took a deep breath and tried to understand cause Julius has warned her about his characteristic.
"Then why don't you help him? I mean I'm preety sure that captain can beat him but isn't it easier if you two work together to beat Hiken no Ace?" Do-S asked.
"It's captain order. Julius told me to go to the ship. He wants to defeat Hiken in one on one fight." Muzan answered.
BOOOM!
Suddenly, both of them heard a massive explosion. They turned around and looked at their left side where the sound of the explosion came from. The saw a very bright fireball and a massive black ball collided which they believed that the explosion sound was coming from those.
"It must be Julius and Hiken." Muzan answered.
"But look! The black smoked is slowly absorbing the fireball!" Do-S said.
Muzan smirked and chuckled. When he saw the black smoke was absorbing the fireball, it meant that Julius was gonna win.
"It seems this is our victory." Muzan muttered.
BOOOM!
Once again, a massive sound of explosion can be heard and it created a massive shockwave which made a small earthquake around that area. But this time, the gigantic fireball already disappeared and Muzan's smirk grew larger when saw that.
"Do-S, let's go there. It seems the fight is already over." Muzan smirked.
"W-What? How can you know that?" Do-S asked.
SRING!
However, they surprised when suddenly Julius suddenly appeared before them and carried Ace on his shoulder.
"CAPTAIN!" Do-S said in happiness.
"Tch! This man is really annoying! I have to admit that he's strong!" Julius mumbled.
"You are injured." Muzan said as he saw Julius' right arm was bleeding and burnt. No only that, half Julius' face was badly burned.
"I know. I think we need a doctor. I need a treatment for this wound or my skin will be like this forever and I don't want it to be happen." Julius said as he showed his skin that get burned.
"I can handle that. But first, what should we do about this man?" Muzan asked as he turned his gaze at Ace who was on Julius' shoulder.
Julius then put down Ace to the ground. "How long will it take for us to reach the marineford?"
"One day. Tommorow's night we will reach the marineford if we go now." Muzan said.
Julius nodded his head. "Alright then set sail to the marineford. We can't waste anymore time and it will be easier for us to go the Marijois if I am a Shicibukai."
"Okay captain. Leave the ship to me." Do-S said as she ran towards the helm of the ship that located at the front of the ship and she started steering the ship and left the Water 7.
"Muzan, could you make him sleep or unconscious for one day full? It will be a problem for us if he wakes up." Julius said.
"I can." Muzan said.
Julius nodded his head and smiled. 'Finally, slowly but surely, I'll become the king of ther world.'
