Chapter 32-Brining the fight home
Alan's P.O.V
Alan was awoken when the door to his house flew open. Alan opened his eyes and looked at Nora as she came in. "What are the hell are you doing?"
"You killed Cooper!?" Nora shouts.
"Yes," Alan says. "I also killed Bill, and I will kill you if you raise your voice at me again," Nora looks at him. "What's the problem?"
"His men are pissed. They are demanding blood," Nora says.
"If they want blood, they will get it," Alan says as he puts his armor on. "I will show them blood," Alan says as he walks outside. Alan walks to the middle of the village, and the warriors look at him. Cooper's warrior glared at him. "If anybody is mad about what happened to Cooper last night. Step up," Alan tells the warriors. Ten warriors step forwards. "If you can kill me. You get your blood,"
"I got him, boys. I'll get his blood for Cooper," A tall man says as he pulls out an ax. The man swings as Alan moves to the side and grabs the man's ax. He pulls out his dagger with his other hand and stabs the man through the neck. He pulls his knife out and drops the man to the ground.
"Please keep coming. I need to get rid of the weak," Alan says. Alan pulls out his sword as three warriors run at him. He ducks under a swing from the first one. He stabs his sword forward, hitting the second one in the leg, making him fall to the ground. Alan moves to the side of the last man and cuts his arm off. He screams as Alan then cuts his head off. Alan walks to the second one and stabs him through the back, killing him. He looked at the third one, who was staring at him in fear. Alan walked up to him, and the man dropped his sword.
"I'm sorry," He says.
"As you should be," Alan says before he drives his sword through his stomach. He pulls his sword out and then brings it through his chest, killing him. "Now! Does anybody else want to take a go at me?" All the warriors stay back and stare at him. "You are my army, and that is it. If you leave, you to die. Now get back to work!" Alan shouts. "And get rid of these fucking bodies," Alan says. Multiple warriors come forward and grab the bodies. Ryan walks up to Alan.
"We have the heads of Cooper and Bill. What are we doing with them?" Ryan asks.
"Bring them to me, and then you will be making a few deliveries," Alan says. Ryan nods as he walks away.
Clarke's P.O.V
Clarke walks into the medical hut the following day and looks at Lexa, sitting beside Anya's bed. "Did you sleep?" Clarke asks her.
"No," Lexa says. "I sent Luna to sleep a few hours ago,"
"Lexa, you need to sleep. You won't be able to fight Alan if you keep your eyes open," Clarke says.
"I can't leave, Clarke," Lexa says.
"Then don't. Sleep in the bed beside him," Clarke says. "But you need to sleep," Lexa sighs but nods. She stands and goes to the bed on the left side of Anya. She laid down and within minutes had fallen asleep. Clarke leaves the tent after Lexa falls asleep. She looked at Nyko as she left. "Lexa is asleep in there," Nyko nods as he goes into the tent.
"Clarke," Bellamy says as he comes up to her.
"Hey, Bell. What's up?" Clarke asks.
"Why didn't Octavia come?" Bellamy says.
'Shit, we never told you guys," Clarke says.
"Is she okay?" Bellamy asks.
"Yeah, she's fine," Clarke says. "Get everybody and meet me at Indra's war room," Bellamy nods as Clarke goes and finds Indra. She finds the woman as she leaves her house. "Hey, we're meeting everybody at the war room,"
"Why?" Indra asks.
"I'll explain there," Clarke says. Indra nods as she follows the blond. Indra follows Clarke to the war room. Bellamy, Miller, Jackson, Jasper, Luna, Roan, Ontari, Emori, Echo, Jasper, Skylah, and Daisy waited there.
"So why are we here?" Roan asks.
"None of you know what has happened at Arkadia and what that message on Anya's bag meant," Clarke says.
"But you do?" Echo asks Clarke, who nods.
"A few days ago, two people showed up in Arkadia. Rose and Chris, they were Alan's wife and son," Clarke says.
"Where are they now?" Roan asks.
"I'll get to that. Rose told us everything about his life, and it sucked, but it doesn't excuse what's he doing. We also found out that he has Titus," Clarke says. "We made a deal with Rose before she told us anything. We told her we would protect her and Chris, but she wanted to fight Alan. So we sent Chris to the Oil Rigs with Octavia and Lincoln."
"You sent them to my home?" Luna asks.
"It was the safest place for him, and Octavia and Lincoln are two of our best fighters," Clarke says. "Hell, I think Lexa would have sent me if she could. Also, Kane and Jaha are having an election for being Chancellor today," Clarke says.
"Good, Marcus will be a better leader," Indra says.
"We've lost three fighters. Octavia and Lincoln won't be there, and there is no way Anya is fighting with her back," Luna says.
"We'll still win. We'll kill Alan," Clarke says. "But maybe it's time we get the advantage,"
"You have a plan?" Daisy says.
"I might. I don't know how much you'll like it, though," Clarke says.
"What is it?" Daisy asks.
"We'll wait till Lexa wakes up first," Clarke says. The others nod as they slowly leave. "Daisy, Echo stay here," Clarke says to the two women who stop as the others leave.
"What?" Daisy asks.
"You two are coming with me," Clarke says.
"Where are we going?" Echo asks.
"Outcast Falls," Clarke says.
"Your finale plan involves Outcast Falls?" Echo asks.
"You two trust me, right?" Clarke asks. They nod. "Then trust me now," Clarke says as she leaves. They follow her to the horses. They all climb on horses and leave Tondc.
Kane's P.O.V
Kane sat in his room as the people were voting. He looked at the door as there was a knock. "Come on," Kane says. Abby opens the door and comes into the room.
"You doing okay?" Abby asks as she shuts the door.
"Yeah, I'm just waiting," Kane says as Abby sits down. "Do you know what Jaha is doing?"
"No," Abby says. "Wells is with him, though, to make sure he doesn't do anything," Kane nods. "You got this, Marcus, not only do our people want us but so do Lexa and Clarke,"
"You don't seem to be mad at the Commander anymore," Kane says.
"My's daughters back, and she's happy. What do I have to be mad about?" Abby asks.
"Do you think Clarke has forgiven her?" Kane asks her.
"I don't know. Either that or she is doing this to get rid of Alan," Abby says. "Regardless of if she has or if she hasn't. They work well together,"
"They do," Kane agrees. Abby was about to speak again when there was a knock.
"We are ready, Marcus," Jaha says.
"Coming," Kane says as he stands. He nods to Abby before he leaves the room.
Clarke's P.O.V
Clarke, Echo, and Emori rode into Outcast Falls as the gate opened. They get off their horses as Lucas comes up to them. "Were you followed?" Lucas asks.
"No, we made sure," Clarke says. Lucas nods with a smile before he hugs the blond. Clarke hugs him back.
"What are you doing here?" Lucas asks.
"I have a plan. But I need to talk to everybody. So gather them all by my hut," Clarke says. Lucas nods as he walks away. They look at Otan as he comes over.
"Is Emori with you?" Otan asks.
"No, but she's okay," Echo says. Echo nods as they head to Clarke's hut. They wait there for about twenty minutes before everybody has gathered.
"As you all know, we have been attacked, and so have the Commander's people. I do not know if Lucas told you what happened with Connor. Connor was killed by these people in front of Raven. These people have killed many innocent people on both sides, and we haven't got one of them. We have separated to defend Arkaida and Trikru, but someone has told us that Alan is building an army that might be too much for us to fight separated. Alan has had the upper hand the entire time. He knows where we are. He knows how many men we have, and he might have more. I want to change that. Make him bring the fight to all of us. But for that, I happen to need your permission," Clarke takes a breathe. "I want to bring the fight to Outcast Falls. I want to bring Arkadia and Tondc here and all of their people and warriors. Now I want you to understand what I'm asking. If we do this, we will never be hidden again. We'll be a part of the world again. It will be tight, and we will have to share our homes and help make tents and get a lot more food. If none of you want to do, we won't, but I have to ask because we have already lost a dear friend, and I don't want to lose another. So now, if you agree to this, raise your hand," Clarke tells her people. One by one, hands go into the air, and in under a minute, every hand was raised. Clarke smiles.
"Connor was one of us, and he was our friend. If revealing ourselves to every helps us take down this man. Then we'll do it. For Connor!" Lucas shouts.
"For Connor!" The rest of the people follow.
"Okay, then prepare to make room in your homes and out here. Training will become harder when we get back," Clarke says. They nod as they slowly leave. "What do you think?" She asks Echo and Daisy.
"Like they said for Connor," Daisy says. Clarke nods as they go back to the horse.
"Expect us in a few days, Lucas," Clarke says. Lucas nods as Clarke, Echo, and Daisy get on their horses and leave.
Kane's P.O.V
Kane stood beside Jaha as Abby walked up behind them with the results. She walks past the two men and stops. "Well?" Jaha asks.
"Marcus Kane is your new Chancellor!" Abby announces to the people who cheer. Kane smiles as he looks at Jaha.
"Well done, Marcus," Jaha says before he walks away. Kane stops when he sees Murphy and Raven coming up to the gate with a bag. Kane walks down the hill and to the gate as it opens.
"What's wrong?" Kane asks.
"One of our warriors found this," Raven says. "It smells bad,"
"Open it," Kane says. Murphy nods as he pulls the bag open. He turns his head away. He reaches into the bag and pulls it out. Murphy held Bill's head in his hand.
"Oh god, Bill," Raven says as she stares at the head. Kane looks at the front of the head.
"This is the second. You all will die," Kane reads. "I'm sorry, Raven," Raven nods as she grabs the head.
"I'm going to burn it," Raven says as she leaves.
"Dammit," Murphy says.
"We'll get him," Kane says. Murphy nods as he leaves.
Clarke's P.O.V
Clarke, Echo, and Daisy ride back into Tondc as the sunsets. They look at Bellamy as they get off their horse. "We have a problem," Bellamy says. Clarke, Echo, and Daisy follow him to the war room, where everybody is, including Lexa. In the middle of the table was Cooper's head.
"Who is that?" Clarke asks.
"His name is Cooper. He is a clanless leader. We have traded with him a few times," Indra says.
"This is second. You will all die," Echo reads.
"Where have you been?" Lexa asks.
"My home," Clarke says.
"Why did you go there?" Jasper asks.
"I didn't tell you guys my plan for a reason. I needed to get everybody on board first," Clarke says. "I want to take the fight to Outcast Falls," Clarke tells Jasper.
"Yeah, that would be smart," Jasper says.
"What is Outcast Falls?" Bellamy asks.
"It's our home," Echo answers.
"Remember what Rose said. She said Alan might be able to outnumber us. Even with the mines, he's still building an army. We need to go one place and wait for him, and then we kill him," Clarke says.
"And your people agreed to this?" Lexa asks.
"Yes," Clarke says. "But we do this you have to understand that these people won't listen to you,"
"I know," Lexa says. "You believe this is the best way to end this?" Lexa asks.
"It will take a few days to prepare but yes. We'll get everybody from Tondc and Arkadia, and we'll go. It will be crapped, but it will work," Clarke says. "My people know what this will mean. We won't be hidden, but they killed one of us, and blood must have blood, right?"
"Yeah," Lexa says. She looks at Indra.
"All my people are invited?" Indra asks.
"All of them, yes. But you'll have to leave for a little bit. Leave this place," Clarke says.
"Okay," Indra says.
"Tomorrow, we start packing here, and Lexa and I will ride back to Arkadia and tell them. Come to Arkadia when you are ready," Clarke says. Everybody nods as they leave. Clarke smiles at Lexa before she goes to her hut to go to sleep.
Thanks for reading. Sorry about not posting Tuesday. Last week I was sick and this week was catch up for school, so I was stressed. So we didn't get to the Oil Rigs this chapter, but that's okay. We'll get there. The part of the story is slowly getting to the finish line. Clarke is ready to take this fight home, and it's getting good. As always, suggestions, ideas, and feedback are welcomed. Until next times.
