November turned into December, Rose and Scorpius talked and put a restraining on Kerry Washington. They felt a weight lifted off their shoulders. They took the time to see the Gryffindor vs Slytherin game with their cousins. Being on Hogwarts grounds brought back some memories of their time here. Rose wondered if they were going to be here when their child was in school. She had a feeling that it would either for quidditch games or he was getting in trouble.

The rest of November was a good for them. They also took a trip to the cabin in Scotland before out the sex of the baby and couldn't wait to see what they were having. They talked about how they were going to tell the family about the sex. They also knew that Vic and Teddy were going to find out the sex of their baby. They decide to talk to them about it when the time came.

"Morning," Scorpius kissed Rose. Today they were going to find out the sex of the baby. Scorpius had taken the day off for this. After their appointment, they were going to have lunch with Vic and Teddy to see how they wanted to tell the Weasley family. Scorpius leaned down to Rose round belly. "Good morning, son."

Rose hit him on the arm. "How do you know that our baby is going to be a boy we could have a girl?" She laughed.

Scorpius sat up in bed. "It's a gut feeling," He placed a hand on his flat stomach. Rose rolled her eyes before burying herself in the blankets. She didn't want to get out of bed. Scorpius smacked her butt. "Come on, our appointment is at ten." Rose glanced at the clock on her side of the bed. It said eight-thirty.

"I can sleep for another half an hour," She mumbled in her pillow. "Growing your son," There was a note of sarcasm in her voice. "Makes me tired." Scorpius laughed before getting out of the bed and headed for the shower.

"Will you stop that," Rose hissed at Scorpius. He was shaking his leg as they waited to see the midwife.

"I'm nervous," Scorpius smiled. He saw another couple come in the waiting room.

Rose rolled her eyes behind her book. "Why?" There was a hint of humor in her voice.

Scorpius heard it and smiled. He leaned closer to her. "To make sure that I am right about the sex of the baby," Rose could only smile.

"Rose Malfoy," They heard before either one of could say anymore. They stood and followed the nurse to the room. The nurse did some tests before leaving them to wait for Midwife Turner.

They didn't have to wait long before she came in. She gave them a smile. "Good morning, Rose, Scorpius," She looked over the test results and saw that everything was looking good. "It looks good. Would we like to see the baby?" She asked. Rose and Scorpius both nodded.

Rose leaned back and pulled up her shirt. Midwife Turner placed her wand to Rose's stomach. In a moment the heartbeat of the baby was heard. Rose grabbed Scorpius' hand because it made her heart melt hearing her baby's heartbeat.

"It's looks like they want us to know the sex of them. Would you like to know?" Midwife Turner looked at them. The parents nodded. Midwife Turner smile grew. "You are having a boy."

"Yes, I was right," Scorpius shouted. The women laughed. Scorpius leaned down and kissed Rose on the lips.

"It looks like everything is good with your son. He is growing like he should. I will see next month." Midwife Turner wrote something down before leaving the happy couple.

Scorpius helped Rose sit up. He couldn't stop smiling. They were having a boy. He had to run his hand through his hair. He knew he would have been happy if they were having a girl, but he just had a feeling that they were having a boy. "What do I get for being right?" Scorpius asked as they left the clinic.

Rose rolled her eyes. "You get bragging rights for the rest of the month," Rose headed down the ally.

Scorpius grabbed her around the waist and pulled her close. Rose let out a laugh before Scorpius covered her lips with his. He kissed her right in front of everyone in the Ally. Rose wrapped her arms around him. They didn't notice anything until they heard a camera going off. Scorpius broke the kiss to see photographer running away from them. Scorpius wanted to go after them, but Rose grabbed his hand. When he looked at her, Rose shook her head. They both knew the picture was going to be on Witch Weekly cover at the end of this week.

"Don't let them ruin our happy news," Rose said as she pulled him to a baby shop.

They spent the next hour talking about what they wanted to do about the baby room. They looked at cribs, changing tables, and clothes for the baby. After they made some purchases, they left the shop and made their way to Kim's café where they were going to meet Vic and Teddy for lunch.

They were there first and grabbed a table for the four of them. They sipped on water until their cousins showed up. Vic and Teddy smiled at them as they sat. They all order before anyone spoke up.

"I don't know if I want to tell you guys on what we are having," Vic smiled.

"I agree," Rose said to her cousin. "We'll find out when we tell our family." They both nodded.

"How are we going to tell the family?" Vic asked.

They passed ideas until Teddy came up with an excellent idea. "We do it together with a cake each on Christmas. Everyone will be there." Both women liked the idea and knew that was how they were going to tell the family. They spent the rest of lunch coming up with ideas of telling Teddy's grandmother and how to tell Scorpius' family.

Scorpius was sitting in his office at home when there was a knock on the door downstairs. It was only two days until Christmas and his father had given the company whole week off to spend with their families. The company was going to be shut down until the new year. Scorpius decided to get some work done when Rose told him that she was going to help his mother with their Christmas Eve party. He did not want to get roped into something.

Scorpius sighed when the knocking didn't stop. He got up and made his way downstairs to the backdoor to see Hugo's face in the window. Scorpius shook his head at his brother-in-law as he opened the door. "Hello, what can I do for you?" Scorpius opened the door farther to let Hugo in.

"I need to talk to you about something," Hugo gave Scorpius a half smile, that Scorpius felt he used that smile on his mother one too many times.

Scorpius could tell that Hugo was nervous about something. Scorpius wondered what it could be. "Butterbeer," He jester to the fridge.

"Yes, please," Hugo took a breath that seem to calm his nerves. Scorpius watched Hugo as he took a seat at the kitchen table. When Hugo was settled Scorpius went and grabbed two butterbeers.

He took a seat across from Hugo and handed him a butterbeer. Scorpius took a couple of sips of his butterbeer while he waited for Hugo to say something. When Hugo didn't say anything, Scorpius spoke up. "So, what did you talk to me about? Did you need ideas about what to get Rose for Christmas because you have the wrong person?"

Hugo laughed. "No, I already got her something. I don't know if you remember but when you were at school, we talked about what I wanted to do after Hogwarts," Scorpius vaguely remembered, but he nodded. "I know you said that you would give me a job if I needed it, but what about investing in me?"

Scorpius almost choke on his butterbeer. He took a couple of breaths before saying. "What are you thinking about doing?" He had to know if this idea is going to pay off or if Hugo is going to end up living with his parents for the rest of his life.

"I want to bring technology to the wizarding world. I know it's a long shot, but I would like to try. If it doesn't work out, I will work at your company until I pay every Knut back to you with interest." There was a look of knowledge in Hugo's eyes.

Scorpius could tell that he had a plan. Scorpius thought what technology would do for the wizarding world. It would be a big payday for him and Hugo if he gets everything to work. This was a big idea for Hugo, but Scorpius had a gut feeling that Hugo could do it. "Alright, I'll help, but first I want a business plan by this time next year."

A huge smile spread on Hugo's face. "Thank you, Scorpius. I know this is going to work. Can we not tell my parents or sister about this until it's going to happen?"

Scorpius nodded. He had a feeling that his in-laws wouldn't be too happy about this plan of Hugo. They would want him to do something that would work, but if Hugo had a sound plan, they would back him in whatever he did.

"Thank you," Hugo finished off his butterbeer before getting up. "I'll see you later," Scorpius nodded as he watched his brother-in-law leave. Scorpius had a feeling that this was going to be big for Hugo and he was glad that he could help him. He just couldn't tell Rose or her parents for a year. He will never tell Rose about Hugo coming over.

"Scorpius, do you have the gifts ready?" Rose made her way down the stairs. They were going to the Malfoy Manor to celebrate Christmas before the ball tonight.

"Yes," Scorpius spotted the bag by the door and grabbed it. Rose gave him a look before putting on her coat. Scorpius only smiled and took Rose's arm as they walked to the Manor.

They entered the Manor and made their way to the sitting room. All of Scorpius' family was there. The elder Malfoys were sitting on a couch together. Lucius glanced at Rose's belly to see how round it was. Rose made sure not look at him. She saw that Hector and Adriane sitting together. Scorpius' aunt and uncle were sitting with Scorpius' Greengrass grandparents. Draco and Astoria were sitting on a sofa together. They were around the Christmas tree. Scorpius and Rose take a seat next Hector and Adriane after handing their gifts to a house-elf. They greeted everyone.

A house-elf handed them some drinks. There was talking before they started to hand out some gifts. Rose and Scorpius had kept the gender reveal gift to themselves. They wanted it to be the last gift for everyone. They thanked everyone for the gifts they got. Hector opened the last gift and Rose and Scorpius traded a look between them.

"We have one more gift for Mum and Dad," Scorpius pulled something out of his dressrobes. It was a rectangle package wrapped in Christmas trees wrapping paper. He handed it to his parents.

Astoria and Draco traded a look like they knew what the gift was. Astoria opened the gift. Everyone besides them saw the back of a picture frame. Two smiles spread on Astoria and Draco's face. They looked from the picture to Rose and Scorpius. Rose and Scorpius knew that they were happy about the baby.

"What is the picture?" Adriane asked.

"It's a picture," Astoria turned the picture around and the rest of the room saw a picture of a sonogram of the baby and the words next to it say that it was a boy. "Of the newest member of the family."

Everyone started to congratulate them. They couldn't be happier for them. Everyone started to hug them. Astoria whispered in Rose's ear. "This is one of the best Christmas presents I got."

"I'm glad that you are ready to become a grandmother," Rose laughed.

Across the room, Lucius hugged Scorpius. "It looks like she is good for something." Lucius said. "She is giving you a Malfoy heir."

Scorpius saw that Rose was busy with the woman of his family. "We are having a boy, not an heir."

Lucius waved him off. "Yeah, yeah, but you are going to need someone to take over the company."

His grandfather broke away from before Scorpius could say anything else. Scorpius curled his hand in a fist. He wanted to yell at his grandfather that they would have been happy with a girl and if she wanted to take over the company when it was time. He felt a hand on his fist and turned to see it was his father.

"I know your grandfather can be incentive but remember this is your son and you and Rose will raise it the way you want to raise him." Draco looked over at his father.

"I know, but I want to tell him where to put his comments," Scorpius said from the side of his mouth.

Draco laughed. "He had said some things when your mother was pregnant with you and he didn't say a word when we told him that we were having Adriane. You will raise your son better than he raised his son."

Scorpius gave his father a look because he was Lucius' son. "Grandfather raised you and I think you are a great father and I'm sure Adriane feels the same way."

Draco laughed. "I didn't want you and your sister to have the same childhood as mine. I also had your mother to help. She helped changed me to be a better man." Scorpius watched his father looked over to his mother, who was talking to Rose about the baby. Scorpius saw the love coming from his father towards his mother. It felt that his mother knew that Draco was staring at her, that she looked up at him and smiled. Scorpius felt that he was intruding on them. "The love of a woman can change a man," He patted Scorpius on the back before walking away.

"Everything okay?" Rose asked after she came over to him.

"Yeah," Scorpius pulled her close and kissed her. "I love you."

There was laughter in Rose's eyes as she said. "I love you, too."

Scorpius reached for her hand and led her out of the room to the room they were given for the ball.
