"Wake up," Scorpius smacked Rose's butt. Rose opened one eye and looked at her husband.
"No," She pulled the blankets over her head. Rose heard Scorpius sigh and smiled. She had Scorpius. Scorpius waved his wand, and the blanket was gone. "Scorpius," Rose yelled as she sat up, covering her naked body.
"What?" He acted like he did nothing wrong.
Rose narrowed her eyes at him. "You took the blanket and I'm naked."
Scorpius smiled. "You wouldn't get up and I have a surprise for you," He wondered if Teddy was having this much trouble getting Vic up for the baby shower today.
Rose reached for her wand and with a wave a tee shirt came from the closet. "Yesterday was enough," Rose put the shirt on. "You know I am making a baby. I need my sleep."
Scorpius smiled. "I know," He grabbed her hand and pulled her off the bed. "Go and shower. I will be back in a half an hour." He pushed her towards the bathroom. Rose watched Scorpius with narrow eyes as he left the room.
"Rose," Rose heard Scorpius yelling for her downstairs. "When you are ready come on down," Rose took a sigh and finished brushing her hair.
She made her way downstairs to find a smiling Scorpius standing in front of their couch, hiding something. Rose wondered what he had up his sleeve. He came forward and kissed her on the cheek. "You look beautiful," Scorpius moved out of the way.
Rose gasped as she saw Grandmother Jean, "Grandmother Jean," Rose went up to her and hugged her. "What are you doing here?" Rose saw the look pass between Scorpius and Grandmother. "What is going on?"
"We are taking you out for breakfast," Scorpius said. "I thought that she might like to go to Diagon Ally, and it would be a good surprise for you."
Rose had a feeling that there was more going on, but she let Scorpius have his fun. "Come on, we are meeting your parents there," Scorpius waved to the fireplace.
Rose took her grandmother's hand and went through first to be waiting for her grandmother. After everyone was through Scorpius took them down the ally. Rose watched her grandmother's face as she looked at the ally. Grandmother Jean made comments on how it has changed and hasn't changed since she was a girl. Rose loved to hear it. When she asked about the joke shop when they passed it. "Is that in the family?"
Rose smiled. "It is my Uncle George and Uncle Fred's baby. My uncle and his son run it now." Grandmother Jean nodded.
They stopped in front of a café and Rose saw her parents waiting for them. There was a surprise look on her mother's face as she saw Grandmother Jean. "Grandmother Jean," Hermione hugged her grandmother. She hugged Rose next. "What is Grandmother Jean doing here?"
Rose looked at her husband, who was talking to her father. "I think that you will find out soon."
Hermione narrowed her eyes, but didn't say anything as they went in. They got a table for five. They looked at the menu before saying anything about what was going on. Hermione took a sip of coffee before asking. "What is going on?" It came out as a hiss. Rose and Grandmother Jean before turning back to Hermione.
"Hermione," Grandmother Jean answered. "I'm a witch."
"I knew it," Hermione hit Ron on his arm. Ron mumbled something that no one could hear. "Why didn't you not tell me sooner?" There was a hurt look that passed Hermione's eyes. It was gone before Rose could tell.
"I don't know," Grandmother Jean frowned. "I thought it best. I also saw what the wizarding world was doing to you. I was getting the Daily Prophet and saw the war you were fighting. When you would visit, I saw how much you had on your shoulders I didn't want to put more on them. I was also trying to protect you. I cried the day you saved the wizarding world. I was going to tell you when you brought your parents back, but I saw you weren't ready. Before I knew it you were getting married to this wonderful man," Grandmother Jean waved to Ron, who had taken Hermione's hand. "And you were making a name for yourself in the Ministry. The next thing I knew you were having babies. I did want to tell you, but I was never as brave as you. I hope you can forgive me," Grandmother took Hermione's hand.
"Why are you telling me now?" Hermione said pass the lump in her throat.
"Your daughter wants to write my story and she convinced me that it was time to tell you," Grandmother Jean gave a weak smile.
Hermione looked at her daughter to confirm this. Rose nodded. Hermione looked back at her grandmother. "Why did you leave the wizarding world?"
Grandmother Jean told her about her story falling in love with a muggle man in the army. Hermione saw how much her grandmother was in love with her husband. Grandmother Jean told her about not having wizarding children, but she didn't care. She told Hermione about seeing magic in Hermione and knew that she was a witch. That she thought she would never see it in her lifetime.
Hermione got up and hugged her grandmother. "I understand why you did what you did. I'm glad that Rose is writing your story. I can't wait to hear more of it. If you need anything, just let me know." Hermione got a look in her eye before looking at her son-in-law. "Is she also here for the surprised?" Scorpius nodded.
"What surprised?" Rose asked.
Everyone around the table smiled. "You will just have to wait and see." Her mother said.
The surprise was a baby shower with her cousin, Vic at Dom's new house. The cousins laughed as they hugged each other. They saw all the blue decoration and a bander that said, 'They are boys' under it said the babies' names, Jason and Remus. There were two piles of gifts for them. They saw everyone was here for it.
"All right, mum-to-be," Dom pulled them to two chairs and made them sit down. Rose and Vic traded a look. They both knew that when it was time for Dom's baby shower that she was going to get it.
Rose looked around the room and saw a table with food and drinks on it. She saw her mother-in-law and her sister in the crowd of Weasleys. She also saw Teddy's grandmother and Scorpius' grandmother sitting together. Rose was surprised to see Narcissa here. She wondered if Andromeda made her come. Rose didn't see any of the men around. She wondered where they went to.
"Hello," Dom said to the crowd. "Welcome to Vic's and Rose' baby shower. As we can see they are both having boys," Dom rolled her eyes. "That's hope this one is a girl," Dom patted her smaller belly.
Dom opened her mouth to speak when Vic said something. "That doesn't mean she isn't going to cause trouble," The room laughed, and Dom smiled at her sister. There was a look that passed between the sisters, to how much trouble they cause growing up. Rose saw her aunt Fleur roll her eyes at her daughters.
"It was a good thing that I was an angel than," Rose said to her cousins. They laughed at her.
"Rose, you got the younger ones in so much trouble growing up," Vic smiled.
"Moi," Rose sounded shocked, but there was laughter in her voice.
"Yes, you," The younger Molly said from the crowd. "I think it was you that got Lucy a skinned knee and a bloody lip because you them to battle a dragon or something." Rose shook her head, smiling.
"That was Roxanne's idea," Rose said.
"That was all you, Rose Weasley," Roxanne said from the back. Rose looked towards the back to see Roxanne, Lucy, Lily, and Ariadne there. Rose only smiled at them. She was ready to say something when her Grandmum Weasley said something.
"It was bad when all seven of them got together," The older Molly said to the girls' mothers. All their mothers nodded their heads, agreeing with her.
"All right enough about how awesome we are," Dom yelled to the crowd. "If I remember you all raised us," She pointed to her mother and aunts. Fleur and the others gave her looks. "All right it is time for games." Dom pulled out a board and there were about thirty baby pictures on the board. Each of the pictures were numbered. "The first game is Guess Who. Each picture is a picture of every woman in the room as a baby. Molly going to hand out some paper that is numbered. You are going to guess who is which baby." Rose took a paper and pen from Molly.
Rose didn't win but it was a tie between her mother and aunts. She had a feeling they knew most of the babies in the pictures. After the game, people started to get up and get food and drinks as Dom and Molly set up the next game. They divided into teams. Dom explained the next game to them. Rose and Vic were on sperate teams and gave each other dirty looks before breaking out laughing. In the game each one had to change a baby and the first team to do won.
After the team with the older generation won, Rose turned to Dom and said, "Stop putting them on a team together," Dom just shrugged her shoulders and went on to the next game. The next game was guessing the price of baby things that they were going to need for their sons. Rose and Vic were shocked by some of the prices. They play two more games before they opened presents for the new mothers. After the gifts the party started to break up, and everyone left. Rose and Vic thanked everyone for coming and the gifts that they gave. It was than that their husbands returned.
Rose and Vic thanked Dom for throwing a baby shower for them and they couldn't wait to do the same for her when it was her turn. Dom didn't like the look in their eyes, and it had her worried. After Rose and Scorpius left, they saw Grandmother Jean home. She thanked them for including her and couldn't wait to meet the little guy. When they got home, Rose thanked Scorpius for the surprise.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Wade," Rose said to Scorpius secretary.
"Morning, Mrs. Malfoy. How are we doing?" The older woman asked.
Rose laughed. "I am ready for this baby to come. Only a few more weeks."
Mrs. Wade smiled. "I bet. I remember when I was carrying my oldest, he didn't want to come out."
Rose nodded and asked about her other children and how they were doing. Mrs. Wade told her about them. Rose glanced at her husband's office door. "Is he in there alone?" Rose asked.
Mrs. Wade nodded. Rose thanked her before going in. She saw Scorpius sitting behind his desk, looking over some papers. She closed the door, and he still didn't look up. She saw him mumbling to himself. She made her way over to him and massage his shoulders. He leaned back and moaned. He titled his head and saw Rose. He took her hand and brought her around to him and had her sitting on his lap.
"Hello, what brings you here?" He kissed her neck.
"Your son," Rose said. Scorpius looked down and back at Rose. Rose laughed. "No, not yet. I was going through his things today," Rose and Scorpius had decorated the baby's room after the baby shower. "And I noticed that we still a few things before he gets here. I am wondering if you could take the rest the day off and go shopping with me." She wrapped her around his neck.
Scorpius looked at his date book and called out to Mrs. Wade if he had anything on his plate. "Nope." Scorpius said. He got up with Rose and grabbed his jacket before pulling them out of the office.
Rose and Scorpius were making their way down the alley when they heard…
BOOM!
Scorpius looked up and saw an old building that hasn't been used since the war, come falling down. "Rose," He shouted as he pushed her out of the way. He covered Rose and covered himself as the building came down around them.
When it stopped, Scorpius raised his head and looked around. He saw a glance of a woman running away from the scene. He saw people standing around and watching him and Rose. "Rose, its okay to sit up," Scorpius said to Rose. She didn't move a muscle. "Rose," He said her name again. She didn't answer him. Tears filled Scorpius' eyes. "Rose, please get up."
