Rose closed her eyes; she was glad to be home after a week in the hospital. The only downside was Scorpius was on top of her every second they been home. She took a breath because Scorpius had to go in the office for a meeting, he couldn't miss. She looked down at her round belly. They only had a month, but her midwife told her that he could come any time now.
"I hope that you are glad to be home," Rose placed a hand on her belly to feel Jason kick. She smiled. She was glad that everything was alright with him and her. They spent a week in the hospital were tests were run on both of them to make sure that everything was okay with them. "I can't wait to meet you. Your father thinks that you are going to have my eyes. I don't know where he got that idea," Jason kicked again. Rose let out a laugh. Rose was so in love with her son, she couldn't wait to hold him in her arms or see him in Scorpius' arms.
They had just finished the baby room, all the room needed was the baby. It seemed like it has been a long time coming and they were in the final stages. Rose was ready for him. "I love you, Jason, but you need to come now. Your dad and I want to meet you. I want to hear your cries and see if your father is right about the eyes. I have our hospital bags ready, and it is waiting by the fireplace. All we need is you."
"Rose, I am home," Scorpius walked in from the kitchen.
"Daddy's home," Rose smiled at her husband. "How did your meeting go?" Rose asked Scorpius as he took a seat next to her on the couch.
"It went well," Scorpius placed on a hand on her belly. "I see you and Jason survived without me," Scorpius looked in her eyes.
Rose bit her tongue to the resort she wanted to say. He was only worried about her and their son. He had almost lost both of them and would never let them go again. She didn't know how he did it because if it was her, she would have been broken down. "Yes, we did," She only smiled and placed her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes again; she was always tired.
As she was falling into a deeper sleep, there was a knock on the backdoor. They didn't wait for Rose or Scorpius to call out, the person just walked in. Rose and Scorpius traded a look before looking at the person. Al Potter stood before them with a weak smile on his face.
"What do you want, Al?" Rose asked.
Al ran a hand through his hair. "I have some good news," Rose gave him a look for him to continue. "We caught the person who tried to kill you We are going to need both of you to come to the Auror Department to confirm it."
Scorpius looked at Rose. "Does Rose have to come? I don't want to stress her."
Al opened his mouth to say something before he could he saw Rose hit her husband. "I need to get out of this house and this woman has done enough to both of us."
Scorpius opened his mouth to say something, but Al spoke, "She was the other person who put a restraining order on her too." Al saw the look on Rose's face, and he knew that he had just saved Scorpius' life.
Scorpius sighed, got up, and held out his hand for his wife. Rose smiled and grabbed it. They followed Al to the fireplace and went in after he did. The followed him to the Auror Department through the crowd of people in the Ministry. Scorpius had a hand on Rose the whole time. He never wanted to lose her again. Al led them through the Auror Department to the interrogation room.
In the room, were her dad, uncle, and the man training Al. Rose hugged her dad and uncle and greeted the training officer. Al's class was in Diagon Ally that day because they were training on spotting things. They were the first on scene. They were the ones that called the medwizards and senior aurors. Since they were first on the scene, their head training officer and the Head Auror thought that this might be a good case to work on.
"Is this woman Kerry Washington?" Harry asked his niece and nephew-in-law. He pointed to a window for them to look through. Rose and Scorpius stepped up and looked through the window. They both saw the woman sitting in the room. Her hands were rested on the table in front of her. She was looking at the door to see who would walk in. There was a small smile on her face.
"Yes," They said at the same time. Rose leaned into Scorpius, and he wrapped an arm around her.
"Thank you," Ron said from behind them.
"What will happen to her?" Rose asked.
"There will be a trial and she will be sent to prison," Harry frowned. "You both will have to testify, but whoever takes the case will work with you." Scorpius and Rose nodded.
"I need some air," Rose placed a hand on her belly. Scorpius nodded and led her out of the room, through the auror department, and through the Ministry. They went through the fireplace and came home. Scorpius led her out the back door and to the bench. "She is out of our lives," Rose leaned her head against his shoulder.
"Yes," Scorpius stared out to his family's land.
It was a warm day for Rose's birthday party at the Borrow. Rose sat in a chair at the edge of the table. Vic was next to her, but she had to go to the bathroom. Rose knew all about the challenge when you are ready to pop. Rose took a piece of cake from her aunt that was handing out pieces of cake. "Thank you," Rose put the paper on her belly. Having a big belly was good for something. Rose moaned as she took a bit of a piece of cake. Jason decided to kick her. Rose laughed. "You like Grandmum's chocolate cake, too."
Rose had just finished her piece of cake when she felt pain in her back. She took a breath and waited for the next contraction. She looked around to see if anyone else was around, but no one was. Rose struggled to stand up and once she was up, she felt her water break. Grandmum Molly had come over to collect the plates and saw what happen.
"Can someone please get Scorpius? Rose just went into labor," Grandmum shouted. Everyone looked up from what they were doing and started to look around for Scorpius.
"Oh," Rose and Grandmum looked towards the sound and saw that Vic was holding her back.
"Someone also find Teddy. Vic just went into labor," Grandmum Molly yelled.
Everyone started to run around looking for the men. Soon Scorpius and Teddy were running to their wives, throwing the brooms that they were flying to the ground. Each husband took their wives to the fireplace.
"Scorpius, we are going to need our bag," Rose yelled as a contraction hit her again.
"We need ours too, Teddy," Vic let out a breath.
The men looked around the room to see if someone could grab the bags for the women. Scorpius got a nod from his mother-in-law and Teddy got a smile from Dom. The men took a breath before going through the fireplace and entering the birthing center.
Before they knew it Rose and Vic were in a room together and screaming. Their midwife, Jane Turner laughed when she saw them together. She checked on both of them and asked how it happen that they went into labor together. After they told her, she smiled and told them to rest and could take awhile for either baby to come. Rose and Vic both moaned and glared at their husbands. Teddy and Scorpius just smiled and made a bet on who was coming first.
"Alright, Vic are ready to push?" Jane asked. Rose threw her cousin a look.
"Yes," Vic screamed.
The room was soon filled with the screams of a healthy baby boy. Vic was crying and Teddy couldn't stop staring at his son. After Remus was cleaned, Teddy brought him over for Scorpius to see. He was beautiful. There was tuff of green hair on his head. Remus inherited his father metamorphmagus. He had Vic's nose and chin. He looked like both of his parents. Rose and Scorpius told him that their son was beautiful before another contraction hit Rose. Teddy took his son back to his mother and new parents and baby left the room to go other room for guests.
Rose turned to her husband. "How is it possible that she went into labor after me and her son is here before ours," She glanced down at her huge belly.
"I don't know," Scorpius shrugged his shoulders. Rose threw him a look, before she let out another scream.
It was another hour, before it was time for Rose to push. Jane looked up and smiled at them. "Are you ready to meet this little guy?"
"Yes," Rose screamed. Jane laughed before turning serious. "I'm going to need you to push when I tell you too," Rose nodded. "Push," Rose pushed. After about ten minutes, Jane said, "I can see the head. Push," Rose pushed. "We have the head. All right almost there. Push," Rose pushed for another ten minutes before Jane had the baby in her arms. "Dad, would like the cut the cord?" Scorpius nodded. He went over and cut the cord.
They placed Jason on Rose and Rose finally got to look at her son. Rose held on to him and cried. Jason let out a cry and Rose laughed. Rose saw that he had no hair and he had her blue eyes. He had Scorpius nose and mouth. He looked like both. The training midwives took Jason, clean him up, and placed him in a blanket before handing him to Scorpius.
Scorpius looked down at his son and saw how perfect he was. He didn't think that he could love someone so much. He looked over to Rose to see how tired she was, but there was a smile on her face as she watched Scorpius and their son. "You are amazing," Scorpius said. "I love you."
Rose smiled. "Just don't ask me to do that again any time soon," Scorpius laughed.
Jane smiled at the new parents. "We are going to take you to other room," Rose and Scorpius nodded. Scorpius handed Jason to Rose.
As they entered the other room, Vic and Teddy were there with some of the Weasley family. The family came over to meet Jason. Soon the whole family was there meeting the newest members of the family. Jason met both sets of grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A picture was taken of the boys together. The family left soon and left the new parents with their sons.
Both sets of parents fell asleep after they took the babies to the nursery.
"Happy anniversary," Scorpius kissed Rose to wake her up.
Rose moaned and opened one eye. "Why are you waking me up this early?"
Scorpius leaned down with a smile to kiss Rose again, but Rose pushed him away, laughing. "It is our first anniversary and I want it to be special."
Rose wrapped her arms around Scorpius. "What do you have plan, Mr. Malfoy?"
Scorpius ran a finger along her side making Rose hiss. Scorpius was ready to lean down and kiss his wife when Jason decided to remind them that he was there. Scorpius moaned and bowed his head. "Why is your son crying?" Scorpius asked.
Rose pushed Scorpius off. "My son, if I remember you were there too," Rose got out and made her way to bassinet at the end of their bed. Jason looked up at his mother and held out his arms. Rose picked him up and went to sit on the bed again. She pulled up her shirt and let Jason latch on. Rose looked down at Jason. He had one hand on her breast as he ate. His hair was coming in and it was strawberry blond. Rose ran a hand over his head and Jason closed his eyes. She smiled at him; she loved her son so much. She looked away from to Scorpius, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching them. Rose could tell that he was watching their son too.
It has only been three months since, Jason entered the world. He was the light of their world. They loved their son, but he left little time for Rose and Scorpius to be husband and wife. They were both glad for today. Today was their anniversary and Jason was going to spend the day with his grandparents.
Jason let go and Rose put him on her shoulder to burp him. Once he let out a burp, he decided to settle on his mum's shoulder and sleep. "I hate that I have a meeting this morning," Scorpius got out of bed. "I want to spend the day with you," He came over to her side.
"I know, but after the meeting you will come home and we will take Jason to your parents, where he will spend the afternoon and then he will go to my parents for the night."
Scorpius smiled. Thinking about night. He leaned down and kissed her. "I love you."
"Love you, too," Rose watched Scorpius make his way to the bathroom.
"I'm home," Scorpius walked in the sitting room to find Rose and Jason, sitting on the floor. Scorpius kissed Rose and reached for Jason. Jason settled in his dad's arms. He moved Jason to one arm and helped Rose up. They held onto each other for a second before Rose let go.
"We missed you," Rose said. "I just have to finish getting Jason's things ready." Scorpius nodded. Scorpius followed Rose upstairs to Jason room. Rose got Jason's bag ready. She made sure that Jason had a full pack of diapers for their parents.
When they were ready, Rose and Scorpius walked over to the Manor. Jason reached for his grandmother and Astoria took him. Scorpius gave the bags to his father. Rose and Scorpius kissed Jason on the head before thanking their parents for watching Jason and leaving. They almost ran from the house.
Rose and Scorpius got home to the mess of their house and didn't really care. "I need to pump and then I am showering," Rose told Scorpius as she settled on the couch to pump.
After the shower, Rose felt better. She found something to wear for their anniversary. She loved her son, but this was the first time that Scorpius and she got to spend some time together. She watched as Scorpius dressed for dinner. Scorpius wouldn't tell her where they were going but told her how to dress. Scorpius straighten his shirt sleeves. "Are you ready, Mrs. Malfoy?" There was a sparkle in his eyes that had Rose wondered where tonight was going to go.
She held out her hand. "Ready," Scorpius took her hand and led her from the house.
They appeared in front of a fancy restaurant in Diagon Ally. They entered and Scorpius gave them his name. They were led to a booth. The waiter asked if they wanted wine, but they shook their heads because Rose was still nursing. The waiter left them to look over the menu. After they ordered Scorpius reached for Rose's hand.
"Can you believe it that we made it one year?" Scorpius asked.
Rose narrowed her eyes. "We did have our up and downs."
Scorpius gave a weak smile. "I know, it was mostly my fault," Rose gave him a look that said it was. "We learned and we are better for it. We also had an amazing son."
Rose smiled. "We did. He is wonderful."
"I can't wait to see what life has for us," Scorpius smiled.
Their food appeared. They talked and ate, talking about where they wanted their lives to go. After dinner, Scorpius took Rose to a theater for a play. They enjoyed the play but couldn't wait until they got home.
Rose was pulling his dressrobes off him as soon as they entered the house. Scorpius reached around and found the zipper of Rose's dress. Scorpius reached over and kissed Rose hard. They were having a hard time finding time to be together with Jason so young. They only had time for a quicky. They wanted to enjoy tonight. As they took off their clothes, it led a trail to the bedroom.
They mumbled 'I love you' as they fell on the bed. Scorpius ran his hands all over Rose. Rose dug her nails into his shoulders as Scorpius took a nipple in his mouth. He could taste his son milk on his lips. With one of his hands, he ran up her leg and placed it right above her center. Rose moaned, she wanted him inside of her. Scorpius let go of her nipple and trailed kisses down her body passing the spot that Rose wanted him the most.
"Scorpius," She moaned. Scorpius smiled as he kissed her knee.
Rose reached for him to pull him closer to her, but he wouldn't budge. She moaned his name again. Scorpius let out a laugh. Rose narrowed her eyes and ran a leg along his leg catching his penis. Scorpius let out a hiss. Rose smiled as Scorpius threw her look.
Scorpius raised an eyebrow before placing a finger inside of Rose. Rose moaned. He knew how wet she was. He placed another two fingers inside. He moved until Rose was close, he pulled out his fingers out. She moaned his name. Scorpius kissed right above her curls. Rose pulled him up and Scorpius let her. He pushed in her and they both let out a moan. Scorpius started to move, and Rose wrapped her legs around him. They moved together until Rose came. After Rose came, Scorpius couldn't hold back. He moaned her name as he came inside of her.
Rose held on to Scorpius, so he wouldn't leave her. Scorpius lifted his head and kissed her. "I love you. Happy anniversary."
