Naruto's adventure on Earth-2 has increased his speed and he's ready to head back home to Earth-1. Only, per the course with heroes, it doesn't go as planned. 6. Earth-19999

Just a note guys: I was supposed to update my Riverdale story as well but the file got corrupted so I have to start from scratch with the next chapter. Here is the sixth chapter of Naruto's adventure through the multiverse. He now heads to a world like his own that has heroes but things are a little different. For one thing, he's not born on this earth. And for another, it's a world that was fictional on his earth. He meets a colorful cast of characters, helps a secret agency with a terrorist organization and stops a psycho AI robot from destroying all life on earth. Sounds like fun and clearly things aren't going to stay the same. Enjoy!

Everything I grew up believing in was a lie. My parent's work, Dr. Wells, all of it was not at all what I thought to be. The day I was struck by lightning, it restarted my life and I protected my city with the help of my friends and partner, The Flash. Over the course of a year, I learned the truth about my parents and their work that got them killed. I avenged their death, but the mastermind is still out there. Unfortunately, things got even more complicated as Dr. Wells turned out to be the Reverse Flash, an evil Speedster from the future who came back in time to exact revenge against Barry but in the process, the people he hated ended up being his ultimate lifeline home. In his final act, Central City was nearly destroyed and, in an effort, to save it, my friend and I were thrown into an alternate world. With no way back now, I will use my speed to help the people of Earth-2 until I find a way home. My name is Impulse, and this is my story.

Earth-19999

New York City, April 2015

A blue breach portal opened in a nice clearing of a forest where Naruto raced out and skid to a stop, kicking up some dirt and stumbled a bit but managed to stay on his feet. The first thing he noticed when he exited the breach to the multiverse was that he wasn't animated anymore which was kind of a relief. He looked at his hands, legs, feet, and after a quick mirror check with his phone to make sure his face was still how he remembered it he was happy to be back to normal. The animation was fun for a while but it felt good to be back in live action.

"Oh, thank god I'm back to normal." Naruto pat himself all over to triple check and was happy that everything was as it should be. That's when he noticed that what he thought was a forest was actually what looked like a park. He walked around a bit and noticed tall buildings in the distance and that's when he recognized where he was. "Central Park? Did I get home and somehow end up in Manhattan to visit my grandparents?"

Naruto walked around a bit and soon got on a pathway where he joined the civilian traffic. Everything he saw indicated that this was normal Central Park. He was curious to know if this was actually his earth as he arrived at the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace with its classical Angel of the Water sculpture so there was a chance this earth wasn't that different. There were mobs of people, tourists, performers, and vendors which is when he passed by a woman with black hair wearing boots, jeans, a gray tank top and a black leather jacket with a pair of dark sunglasses. Seeing her gave him a moment of pause as he recognized her. He followed her line of sight and saw what she was looking at which was an Asian man in a business suit. The man grabbed a pair of garden sheers of a cart and held them to his face.

"Hey! Stop! Stop!" The woman shouted and Naruto saw the guy was gonna kill himself.

Acting first and using his powers, he sped right past the woman and all the other people in the blink of an eye and flicker of lightning. The man moved the pair of garden sheers into his mouth and fell forward so the sheers would go through his skull but Naruto came out of nowhere and tackled him to the ground. The man then got on top of Naruto and tried to stab him with the garden sheers.

"Kilgrave told me to kill myself!" He shouted only for Naruto to headbutt him and then kicked him into a tree which knocked him out.

Naruto got back to his feet as a crowd of people came over to watch while he and gardener checked on the man who tried to kill himself. "Someone call the police! Everyone, stay back!" Naruto told them and they did with the gardener taking out his phone and dialing 911. That's when he saw the woman from before going through the man's bag but it was empty. This gave Naruto a good, clean look at her and instantly recognized her as an actress, Krysten Ritter. He recognized her from her stint on the show Breaking Bad and some movies like She's Out of My League but her outfit seemed to point to one person in particular. "Jessica Jones?"

Hearing her name seemed to freak her out so she left quickly and disappeared in the crowd of people which in New York City was easy to do. The police and paramedics soon arrived and took the unconscious man into custody. They asked some questions and while most of the bystanders weren't that helpful, Naruto and the gardener were able to fill in what happened.

"So, you're the one who tackled him to the ground?" The police officer asked Naruto, writing this down in a notepad.

"Yeah. I was walking through the terrace and saw the guy grab the garden sheers off the cart. He didn't look like a gardener so I rushed over thinking he was going to attack someone when he put the sheers in his mouth. I managed to tackle him before he could take his life when he attacked me. I knocked him out and kicked him into the tree." Naruto answered.

"Did he say anything or give any reason for why he was doing this?" The officer wondered.

"He said Kilgrave told me to kill myself. Maybe Kilgrave is a person." Naruto suggested.

"Right. And you're name, sir?" The officer asked.

"Hideo, Nathaniel Hideo." Naruto answered and the officer wrote it all down. Like on Earth-28, Naruto had Gideon begin hacking into nearby systems which she was able to use to make his alias like before as well as infiltrate other databases and systems so he would soon know everything about this world. It was more of him double checking his hypothesis because he had a good idea about where he was.

"Right. Thanks again and we'll follow up if we have any more questions. But good job. You saved a life today." The cop told him before he and his partner left with the paramedics and the man who they took away on a gurney and kept restrained. He hadn't woken up yet and the paramedics early assessment estimates he was just suffering from a concussion. They'd take him to the hospital for another assessment before the police would ask their questions.

Naruto walked through the park and blended in with the crowd of civilians like nothing happened and for many of them nothing did. One thing you can bet on with New Yorkers is their ability to not get involved or care about things that don't concern them. He eventually found himself stopping at a local coffee shop. After getting a regular large coffee with some hazelnut creamer and two sugars he sat down at a table by the window surrounded by hipsters writing their manuscripts side by side with teenagers after school and tourists. He took out his headphones and connected them to his phone so he could talk to Gideon without talking into his watch which would look weird.

"Ok, Gideon. What earth am I on?" Naruto asked.

"You are on designation Earth-199999. It's one of the places in the multiverse that is actually the furthest from Earth-1 and the others, residing in a separate section." Gideon answered.

"Elaboration." Naruto told her as she began to make a crude mathematical schematic on his phone of the multiverse. Some earths were grouped together with various lines connecting them and then another group of earths connected together. A few lines connected the two groups of earths but they were largely separated.

"Though the multiverse is a vast encompass of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that make them up, like matter it follows a set of rules. Various earths with similar makeups, history, or other factors tend to be grouped together into what you've defined as sections. For example, Earth-1 and Earth-2 share similarities and doppelgangers so they're grouped closer together along with other earths that have similar qualities. This earth is the farthest from your earth therefore it shares little with Earth-1. From a brief scan of this earth's internet and history it would appear to share similar qualities to that of Earth-1 such as history, currency, and lifeforms but is based on a brand of fiction from your earth." Gideon explained.

"Marvel comics and MCU. That woman was Jessica Jones brought to life." Naruto muttered. He wasn't the biggest fan of the media but knew it well enough. Cisco was usually the super nerd and he knew more about this then he did. "Well, there was an earth where I met Sam and Dean Winchester and Barry's doppelganger danced in a school's glee club so anything is possible. Has future me ever been to this earth?"

"No. I have no records of any trip to this earth." She answered.

"Ok. How much have you dug into this earth's history and systems?" Naruto wondered.

"I have already assimilated all local private and public servers on the island of Manhattan and have used them to confirm our location as well as compile a list of relevant data. I have also taken the liberty of infiltrating certain servers and companies of interest including STARK Industries, Avengers Tower, and the uploaded SHIELD files." Gideon told him. "Their digital defenses and firewalls were rather well built but nothing I wasn't able to go through. And I've taken the liberty of covering my tracks and providing enough digital fingerprints to cover your arrival on this earth."

"Wow, Gideon. You are very well built and programmed." Naruto commented.

"Considering you are the one who created me that is you patting yourself on the back but thank you." Gideon replied.

Naruto speed read through the long list of files, projects, and other information that Gideon managed to get which was a lot. She was able to crack into STARK Industries and Avengers Tower despite the fact that Tony Stark, at least from what he remembered from the various movies he watched, was supposed to be this world's super genius. Yet Gideon was able to enter through both systems, get plenty of juicy information and data and then get out while covering her tracks. Either he wasn't as smart as he thought he was or Gideon was practically Skynet minus the hatred towards humanity. If it was the latter than he really hoped she stayed on the good side.

At the moment, he was looking through the long list of projects that STARK Industries had either rolled out to the public or in R&D and found a lot of similarities.

STARK Industries environmental repair. "Doing it."

STARK Industries consumer products. "Doing it."

STARK Industries medical technology. "Doing it."

Early stages STARK Industries holographic projection. "Already done that."

STARK Industries Satellite array sensor system. "Technically doing it with plans to enhance it."

STARK Industries weapons and development from Subsidiary Accutech: "Doing it."

Cordo Subsidiary of STARK Industries developing enhanced firefighting and police equipment. "Already done that."

STARK Industries Arc reactor technology. "Doing it but always happy to get some help."

STARK Industries Nanotech. "Oh, that's interesting. Had early alpha-level plans for this but it looks like STARK Industries is doing the same. Let's see what they have."

Naruto looked into the STARK industries nanotech and Arc reactor technology files. The Arc reactor files were where he spent most of his time as it would seem that Tony Stark's idea and application of the Arc reactor technology was more advanced that his. Granted, Tony had several more years to work on it than Naruto did so did it really make him smarter if he had more time with the technology? Hard to say. Still, the miniaturization of the Arc reactor and the increase power output was something he could easily apply on his earth. Plus, seeing the Avenger files on the Iron Man armors did give him some ideas for a new speedster suit down the line. And he might be able to implement nanotech for that but it was still in its early phases. But if this place was based on Marvel Comics then there might be someplace where nanotech was probably way past the development stage along with getting a valuable and useful metal.

"Gideon, patch into nearby satellites over Africa and run scans for a protective dome or shielding over a certain area. If this world's Wakanda is anything like it's fictional version then it's gonna be hidden." Naruto instructed. "Factor in topographical scans, intentional RF signature blocking, unique signature radiation and if all that fails then look for things that look slightly out of place."

"Understood. Tapping into all satellites and beginning scans of the African continent. There will be terabytes of data to go through so this may take a while." Gideon informed him.

"No problem. I can keep myself busy with some other things." Naruto replied, looking through all the released SHIELD files.

It was enjoyable to read through all the secrets and projects that they were doing before the collapse of SHIELD and Hydra uprising. The idea of a helicarrier was intriguing but had some design flaws. Reading all the experiments, missions, and other sordid things that SHIELD and Hydra had their hands in was an interesting read. There was some good stuff but the bad and mirky seemed to tip the scale one way. Still, it was enjoyable and his super brain had it all memorized and saved in the bank. There was one for a small gravity generator which would prove useful in creating artificial gravity tech. This world didn't have mutants with no Fantastic Four so that was a bust and not nearly as many powered or super people as he thought except for some major ones like Thor and the Hulk. The minor ones were barely noticeable or even worthwhile. There was one file on a woman named Karla Faye Gideon who surgically implanted scalpels to her fingers to give her finger blades which literally sounds like the stupidest thing ever.

Honestly the only personnel files he cared about were about the Avengers or Avengers related people. Five in particular: Dr. Hank Pym, Dr. Stephen Strange, Peter Parker, Carol Danvers, and T'Challa. Based on everything Gideon was able to find on this earth, its history, news headlines, and even SHIELD files there weren't as many heroes as he thought there were. Dr. Hank Pym was an old man in his late 60s so he likely wasn't Ant-man anymore but he was according to old SHIELD files. He used to run Pym Technologies now Cross technologies which made him a billionaire with a tech empire in San Francisco with his daughter Hope van Dyne but no mention of a Janet van Dyne. She was likely dead or something happened in an accident. No other mention of an Ant-man but there could be a possibility of getting some of that shrinking tech. Dr. Stephen Strange didn't seem to be the sorcerer guy and was still a doctor. No headlines of a Spider-man yet so Peter Parker didn't get bitten and get his powers. There was a mention of a Carol Danvers in old SHIELD files but no other mention so he had no idea if she was still around and SHIELD had very little on T'Challa and Wakanda in general except for a small file. They knew about Vibranium but had very little so they managed to synthesize a proto-version that was stronger than steel but not as strong as the metal. Still, it made up Captain America's shield and if the metal was anything like what he had heard Cisco rave about it during his usual comic book discussions then he wanted it. Luckily, SHIELD did have information on someone they knew had Vibranium. Someone named Klaue so he could be the person he could pay a visit to.

"Gideon, I know you're still looking for Wakanda so take your time but can you do a search for a Ulysses Klaue? He might be someone I can get Vibranium from and go illegal sources if you have to." Naruto suggested.

"One moment." Gideon diverted her search a bit and cross-referenced the name with databases and files from SHIELD, FBI, CIA, Interpol and even black market servers for the name or related organization. "According to the SHIELD and Interpol files Ulysses Klaue is a noted black market arms trader and procurer who operates on the African coast. SHIELD is noted as him being the only person who has found the nation of Wakanda and lived while stealing a quarter ton of Vibranium. The organization even made dealings with Klaue to procure various amounts of Vibranium over the years for their weapons projects."

"A spy organization doing work with a black market arms dealer. Guess that's one way of getting past certain arms embargos and international laws, especially if you're the one enforcing them. Wonder if it was SHIELD or Hydra?" Naruto questioned.

"Unclear but in return for the sale of Vibranium to SHIELD they kept certain interested parties and government organizations from arresting him." Gideon then brought up a satellite image of the African coast about 30 miles from Johannesburg. It was of an old salvage yard for ships and she highlighted one in particular called the Churchill. "Based on encrypted emails and phone call records, I've traced Klaue's position to an old salvage yard near Johannesburg. It would appear to be his base of operations and most likely where he's keeping the Vibranium."

Naruto couldn't help but smile at how incredible Gideon was. She made this look easy. "Gideon, you're a miracle worker. Let me know if something comes up."

"Of course. Good luck." Gideon replied as Naruto walked out of the coffee shop and down the street before stopping at a stoplight. He saw two little kids looking at him so he smiled and waved and they waved back. One quick neck crack and a deep breath before he ran at super speed and sped past pedestrians, cars, and buildings while kicking up serious gusts of wind and occasional crack of the sound barrier. It was approximately 7,973 miles from Manhattan to Johannesburg, Africa adding in a couple dozen more miles to get to the salvage yard. He make it there at top speed in under an hour.

South African Coast, Salvage Yard

The salvage yard along the coast line of South Africa was a fairly gloomy sight. There were a small series of manmade canals all throughout the area which is how the various old ships were moved in and out. On the other side of the salvage yard were old planes and land vehicles like cars or old war tanks. While there were old ships being dismantled for scrap throughout the salvage yard there were a series of cargo ships situated on the muddy terrain near the land which is where Klaue had his black market arms operation set up.

Inside the ship was a veritable arms/weapon storage and transport facility with enough weapons and ammo to take over a country. The people working for Klaue were South African mercenaries and pirates who used the surplus of guns and heavy artillery for their own means. Working with Klaue was also good money as well. The men were moving throughout the interior of the ship transporting crates of stolen assault rifles for transport or making sure the anti-tank rockets for a missile launcher were stored safely for their sale. Klaue himself was up in the captain's room which he refitted as his personal office.

"That's right, Mr. Secretary. Ten crates of the modified body armor will be delivered on schedule. Best of luck." Klaue hung up before dialing another number. "Mr. Abobae, pleasure to make your acquaintance. We were discussing your purchase of armor piercing rounds, correct? Ballpark it about a hundred million rounds of ammunition?"

Before Klaue's deal could continue the power and lights inside the ship cut out all at once. The men inside the ship turned on their flashlights and began to panic, with many grabbing their guns as they thought they were under attack. Klaue looked out through the window of his office and pulled out his pistol in defense when he saw a flicker of light move through the ship followed by a series of thuds. That's when he felt a sudden stinging sensation and his muscles went stiff before he passed out. The power turned back on to reveal Naruto standing behind Klaue's body with his hand flickering with lightning. He took out his phone and activated the recorder. "Mental note: lightning charge to a subject's neck provides a quick and simple method of inducing unconsciousness. Remember to use again."

He put his phone away and activated the scanner on his smart watch as he began walking through the ship, stepping over the bodies of Klaue's men. He was following his scanner to a hidden compartment on the first floor near the heavy weapons. After taking careful steps to avoid stepping on people but in some cases it couldn't be avoided he arrived at an old cargo area. Naruto pulled open the large heavy door and saw it was filled with toxic waste barrels but also had a high-tech keypad on the side. He put on his goggles and scanned the keypad before isolating residual skin cells and oil on the numbers. After a quick second of going through various combinations to find the right one, the platform holding the Vibranium cores lowered down.

[Whistles in amazement] Naruto walked over and picked up one of the cores of the blue glowing ore. "Not bad." He tossed up the core and caught it, noticing the light weight but also seeing the hundreds of Vibranium cores that Klaue had…carrying it was going to be an issue. His pack was full already and he didn't like the idea about having to keep a duffle bag slung over his shoulder when he runs especially if he was gonna run through the multiverse again. "Gideon, plot my next course for San Franciso and the Pym Technologies building."

"Course plotted."

"Thank you." Naruto walked through the ship to find a bag to carry the Vibranium he was going to take and it needed to be sturdy. After looking all over the first floor and finding nothing but old knapsacks and crates he checked the second floor. With zero luck in four of the rooms and only finding more weapons and crates he managed to get lucky in the fifth room and found a pile of duffle bags. "This'll work."

He grabbed two bags but the straps of one got snagged on a munitions box next to it so when he pulled them free it was knocked over. But instead of bullets coming out it was gold Krugerrands.

"Whoa…" Naruto picked up one of the Krugerrands and looked it over. He scrapped it across the ground and it left behind a gold-colored marking meaning it was real. Seeing the other ammunition boxes and crates around the room gave him a pretty good indication what this room was. He used his super speed and put all the Krugerrands back in the box on the shelf before he checked the others. Another box had more gold Krugerrands, one had diamonds, and another had precious gems like sapphires, rubies, and emeralds. Guess this is how Klaue liked to do business. "Don't want to let it all go to waste."

He grabbed a few extra bags and put several containers of Krugerrands and gems and took them before heading back to the Vibranium vault and putting in a dozen cores. He zipped up a bag and picked it up but between the metal and the gold he was taking it had to weight over two hundred pounds. "Oh, shit." Naruto swayed a bit before dropping the bag and realized his problem.

"I'd like to remind you, Naruto that while you have enhanced strength greater than a normal human it isn't that much greater. Carrying that amount of Vibranium, gold and diamonds would slow you down and likely several of the bags would be destroyed during transport." Gideon informed him. "As the human saying goes, choose to want less rather than have more."

"Ever the philosopher, Gideon and you're right." Naruto removed all the containers of gold and diamonds except for one box which he mixed before returning the rest. He put that in with the 12 Vibranium cores he was taking and that was enough weight for him to carry and not be too much of a hindrance with his run. Any more and it would weigh him down or likely break apart. "Ok. Next stop, San Francisco."

Naruto made sure the duffle bag was secure before racing out of the ship and back to the US. He sent out an anonymous tip to Interpol and other agencies about Klaue's operation along with leaving a few viruses behind that would make life difficult for the arms trafficker. A part of him was sad to leave behind the Vibranium but he had other souvenirs to pick up and if Gideon found Wakanda then he could get it from the source.

San Francisco

Naruto skid to a stop near Lombard street, the famous street in San Francisco and named one of the most crooked streets in America due to the sharp curves. The second he skid to a stop he dropped the duffle bag to the ground and let out some heavy breaths due to exhaustion. "Jesus that stuff is heavy when you have run such a long distance with it…" He muttered, bending over a bit to catch his breath and rest his arms before taking out his phone. "Mental note: begin training long distance running with weights to improve strength."

After a few deep breaths, Naruto took out one of the high-calorie speedster bars from his bag and ate it in three bites. It made him feel better but he would get something more substantial later. Maybe he'd go to Vegas and head to a buffet. He picked up his bag but hearing the jingle of coins and clank of Vibranium containers was a pretty good indicator not to bring it along. Sneaking into a high tech lab likely wasn't going to be an issue with his speed and Gideon but you didn't need the excess sound to draw unneeded attention. He decided to leave it behind so he super sped up a tall building and left it on the roof with a tracker in case someone stumbled upon it and took it.

With that taken care of, he super sped over to Cross Technologies and after Gideon hacked into their system he began racing through the building to find any traces of shrinking technology but…nothing. He raced all over the building 20 times and phased through the basement but nothing. "Gideon, you're patched into the Cross Technologies server. Is there any mention, notice, or file on the Shrinking tech?" Naruto asked her, standing in an empty hallway.

"There is a file in the server marked Project Yellowjacket. It is a Cross Technologies next generation battle suit that has a selection of onboard weapons along with the ability to alter the atomic mass of the wearer enabling them to shrink and grow." Gideon informed him.

"The name Yellowjacket does ring a bell. Ok, where is Project Yellowjacket?" Naruto wondered.

"Project Yellowjacket is still in development and after careful analysis of the R&D notes and information, their shrinking process is not complete. Early tests on inorganic matter are mixed and early beta tests on organic matter are fatal."

"Ok, not taking the knockoff form, that's for sure." Naruto muttered. "The original Ant-Man would be the one person who knows the formula to keep control of his suit and technology. Gideon, can you get me the address for a Dr. Hank Pym?"

"One moment." Gideon began a quick search and found the address. "Address found outside the city."

"Perfect. On my way." Naruto super sped down the hallway and out of the building just as Hope van Dyne turned the corner. She looked around and could have sworn she heard someone.

"Huh…weird."

Naruto appeared outside Dr. Pym's home and after a quick scan found that no one was home. Gideon hacked into the house's security system to make it so that he wasn't even there as he phased through the house and down to the basement where his scanner picked up a lab. After Gideon infiltrated the system and unlocked the door, Naruto opened it to see a very nice lab set up in the basement perfect for Ant-man. There were various hives of ants set up but also included security cameras tied in to Cross Technologies and enough tech for a size changing superhero.

"Not a bad setup." Naruto remarked as he walked in and found some files on Pym Particles which was the formula and power source for the Ant-man suit and what allowed him to shrink and grow. "Gideon, how long will Dr. Pym be gone?"

"He's attending a scientific conference downtown. I'm tracking his phone's GPS and will alert you if he is on his way back."

"Thanks, Gideon." Naruto put his pack on the ground and sat down at the workstation where he began going over all of Dr. Pym's research, notes, and data on Pym Particles.

Pym Particles was a formula that altered atomic relative distance of objects or in layman's terms change the distance between atoms which is technically incorrect. The size of an atom is determined via quantum mechanics to be the ratio of several fundamental constants: charge of an electron, mass of an electron, and Planck's constant so changing the atomic relative distance isn't what happens. Via the Pym field and using the formula of the Pym Particle, it adjusts the magnitude of Planck's constant of an atom. The Planck's constant is related to the quantization of light and matter and is a subatomic-scale constant so by adjusting the magnitude of Planck's constant by a scale of ten times lower than the atoms original constant become a hundred times smaller. And the same is true in reverse so if you adjust the magnitude of Planck's contact by a scale of ten times greater than the object becomes a hundred times larger. The Pym Particles also shrinks an object uniformly along with controlling mass and density so that when a person is shrunk their mass and density shrink in an equal factor which would probably make riding an ant much easier.

It's very sophisticated science with a ton of uses but was dangerous. Exposure to the particles over a long period of time could cause adverse effects since such a process on a living organic being without a protective suit could be dangerous or fatal. It was the suit that protected the user and allowed them to shrink along with protecting the user's organs and brains from damage. Naruto read over every piece of research Dr. Pym had on the Pym Particles along with having Gideon run a few simulations which took a total of about an hour. After that he began drawing up calculations and designs for a containment device that would not only safely house the Pym Particle vials he was going to borrow but also safely utilize one vial to shrink the Vibranium and excess gold/gems.

He was jotting down some calculations and measurements on a piece of paper before he super sped out of the house and returned about thirty seconds later with a mishmash of items from a hardware store that he also borrowed. He took apart a plastic pill compartment box and removed the small dividers before replacing them with new ring holders that would hold the Pym Particle vials in place. After making the new case he began insulting the inside of the box to keep the vials safe and then laminated the outside with the same material as the Ant-man helmet as a safety measure so nothing bad happened. It took a little bit but once it was done he placed five Pym Particle vials inside and locked it shut. He was taking a total of six vials but kept the sixth out as he worked on the shrinking device using a flashlight, a tablet, a pneumatic actuator, a regulator, and a laser pointer. After taking them apart and carefully building the shrinking device using the parts and putting the Pym Particle vial in the center connected to the actuator and regulator, he built the laser and flashlight components around it using the circuit board and processors from the tablet for its function.

All in all, the building took another solid hour. With his super speed, he could have done it in minutes but he didn't want to rush screwing with the Pym Particles and accidently shrink himself like in Honey We Shrunk ourselves or something like that. But when he was done the device looked like a flashlight but much larger so sort of like a lightsaber but not the toy version of the lightsaber and more like the movie replicas. Granted, it also has some wires attached to a circuit and transistor board on the side and it had a glowing red light which is where the bulb used to be. The glowing red light was the sixth Pym Particle vial and it was powering the shrink ray. Turns out the Pym Particles actually powered the Ant-Man suit so it could power the shrink ray and luckily Dr. Pym kept detailed notes on the suit's capabilities so he knew how to reverse the polarity of the serum. That helped because when he shrunk something all he needed to do to restore it to regular size was flip a switch as well as adjust how small something was shrunk.

After screwing in the last bolt and making sure the shrinking ray didn't have a loose wire or circuit board out of place, it was ready for a field test. He took out one of his high-calorie/energy bars and placed it on the table before aiming his shrink ray at it. He'd have to come up with a better name for it. A flick of the switch on the side and it shot out a red light at the energy bar which scanned its dimensions. It was a safety measure Gideon recommended so that the effects of the shrink ray were focused. The light produced from the shrinking ray scanned the item's dimensions and logged it into Gideon's database. It was another way to keep track of what he was carrying as well as ensuring that he shrunk only what he needed and didn't accidently shrink a building or car.

After the bar was scanned, he pressed the flashlight button and a red beam of energy hit the bar which shrunk down to the size of a penny. He flicked the switch on the side in the other direction and pressed the button again, this time the energy beam enlarged the bar back to its normal size. "Perfect. Shrink ray is working and I just figured out a way to carry more energy bars. Thanks for your help, Gideon."

"My pleasure, Naruto. Dr. Pym is on his way home so I would suggest you leave."

"Right." Naruto cleaned up the lab, put everything back and left a nice note for Dr. Pym to explain what happened along with a flash drive. The letter read:

Dear, Dr. Pym

I would first like to start off and apologize for using your lab and equipment. Unfortunately, when one is traveling through the multiverse you tend to need to borrow other people's equipment in order to make what you need. You don't know me but my name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. You could look it up but that name doesn't mean anything on this earth since my doppelganger doesn't exist here. I am a metahuman speedster who is currently traveling through the multiverse after an accident knocked me from my earth. I've been bouncing around over a dozen earths until circumstances led me to this one and I required some of your Pym Particles. Don't worry, I'm not a supervillain, insane or an idiot scientist, I'm actually quite smart. In fact, I left you some notes on how I think you could improve your formula and use it in other ways and I've including my multidimensional theorem equation and map of the multiverse to help prove my point.

Anyway, apologies for taking what was yours and sorry for whatever kind of headache this would cause you. If it makes you feel any better, I went to Pym Technologies first until I found out you were pushed out of your own company. It would intrigue you to know that Daniel Cross is currently working on trying to replicate your Pym Particle serum. I've copied everything from their servers and it's on the flash drive. Hope this helps. Sorry again for stealing your stuff but if you ever find yourself traveling through the multiverse in an effort to get home then you make do with what you have. After that, Naruto super sped out of Dr. Pym's house and back to the rooftop where he left all the gold, jewels, and Vibranium. He took out the munitions box he filled with the gold and diamonds and took out a handful to put in his pack in case he needed money before locking it up tight and putting it back in the duffle bag. Then with one quick scan and blast from his shrink ray, the duffle bag of Vibranium, gold, and diamonds had shrunk to the size of a deck of cards and weight about as much.

"Ha…" Naruto tossed it up and caught it with no issue. "Thank you, Dr. Pym."

He put it in his pack along with the shrink ray before racing back to Manhattan because he wanted pizza.

Manhattan, New York City

Naruto was walking down the sidewalk carrying a large box of cheese pizza he bought from Joe's Pizza. Well, actually it was the third box since he ate through the first two along with three bottles of coke. He had got it for Tsunade, Shizune and the kids back when he first got his powers and it was good. Nothing makes you feel better after so much running than some soda and pizza. You'd think the sight of a man carrying a large pizza box and eating it as he walked down the sidewalk on a New York street at night would be a weird sight to see but you'd be wrong.

Naruto walked pass a park when he saw a guy staring at a fence and he was trembling. "Hey, dude. Are you ok?"

Naruto walked closer and saw he was sweating, looked like he hadn't eaten or drank anything in hours, had a large wet stain on the front of his pants and looked like he was in pain. "I…can't…leave…"

Naruto put the pizza box and soda down before activating his watch and scanning the dude from head to toe. "Gideon, what's wrong with him?"

"It would appear that his nervous system and brain has been hijacked from a microparticle virus he inhaled. It has controlled his Cerebrum and Cerebellum making him complacent and completely obedient to any command he was given when he was infected." Gideon informed him.

"Viral mind control. That's terrifying." Naruto muttered as he looked over the brain scans and saw the virus doing its work. "It looks like it hijacked his brain chemistry but it's not permanent. Let me try something."

Naruto walked behind the man and vibrated his right hand at super speed so it began generating lightning. Not enough that it would kill the guy but enough that it would either knock him out or help him. It was a coin toss. He touched the guy's head and the lightning coursed through his brain which caused his entire body to jerk before he dropped to the ground like he was hit with a taser.

"Oh…god." The man muttered as he managed to move again but slowly.

"Hey, are you all right?" Naruto asked him as he helped the guy sit against the fence.

"I'm so tired…" the guy whispered so Naruto handed him his soda which he guzzled down as fast as he could.

"What happened to you?" Naruto asked.

"I don't know. I was here last night for a concert and some British dude showed up. He's not human, man. He's got to be one of those super people. He told me to stare at the fence and I couldn't move." He answered as Naruto brought over the pizza box so he could eat.

"A British guy did this to you?" Naruto asked for clarification.

"Yeah, British. Wore a suit. Had some older British guy with him. I don't know how but it's like once he tells you something you have to listen to him. Practically everyone in the place did as he said." He said as he kept eating the pizza.

"Ok, well you're fine now." Naruto took out some money from his wallet and gave him two hundred dollars. It wasn't his money anyways since he took it from an ATM. "Here. Get a cab and go home. You're dehydrated and haven't eaten so take a shower, drink plenty of fluids and get some rest."

"Thanks, man." The guy replied as Naruto waved down a cab and helped the guy in. "You're a hero, dude. Thank you."

Naruto smiled as the guy got in the cab and went home. He looked over at the fence and then back at the concert hall. Maybe it was the Kilgrave guy the guy from this morning mentioned and maybe he was the person Jessica was after? Again, Naruto wasn't that well versed in the Marvel media as Cisco was. He only knew Jessica Jones because he saw her face on all the promotional material for when her series debuted but Linda watched the series and gave him brief info dumps about what happened. Kilgrave was an asshole. He told a guy to kill himself this morning and then commanded another to stare at a fence all day. He could be dangerous so maybe tracking this guy down was a good idea but he didn't want to get mind controlled.

"Gideon, the microparticles that were hijacking the dude's brain. Could they affect me?" Naruto asked her.

"According to my reading…no."

"Was the dramatic pause necessary?" Naruto wondered.

"No, just something I decided to go with. While the microparticles would overflood and control the brain in a normal human subject your super speed brain chemistry, accelerated healing, and general improved homeostasis prevents your mind from being hijacked. Similar to how your body was able to heal from deadly radiation on Earth-21 when a normal human would succumb to radiation sickness. You should have no problem if you encounter the source of mind control virus but I would still urge caution." Gideon warned him.

"Right. If I start to go do dark side…then be prepared to emit a sonic wave from the watch. That should keep my brain and ears scrambled." Naruto told her.

"One moment to calibrate…and done." Gideon replied.

"Thanks." Naruto walked over to the concert hall and noticed the motorcycle parked out front before he walked in. He was going to get some security footage from the night before to get a good ID on this mind control person and confirm it was this Kilgrave.

"HELLO, NEW YORK CITY!"

Naruto heard someone so he walked inside which is when he saw Jessica Jones drop from the sky and land on the ground floor. She was looking at someone on stage and it was a guy in a purple suit using a microphone.

"So, you found my testing arena? All by yourself?"

"Just followed the trail of misery."

"Oh, that's a good band name. Now for the real test. Stop there, Jessica Jones." He ordered but she didn't and kept moving. "God damn it! I want you to know, I forgive you for everything. I'll say it every day for as long as you need to hear it."

"You heard that?" Jessica asked only for him to smile.

"I wrote it. Surprise—AH!" Kilgrave stopped as a beer bottle hit him on the head and he hit the ground with a thud.

"Oh, now that's what I call a strike!" Jessica heard as she saw a guy walk in. It was the same guy who rescued the man in Central Park that Kilgrave ordered to kill himself. "And Naruto strikes out purple British douche with one right down the middle! The crowd goes wild! Japan-10! England-Zero!"

Naruto held up his hands and mocked like he was on the receiving end of applause as Kilgrave managed to get up, holding his hand over his forehead which had a cut on it. "You bastard!"

"Oh, come on, dude! You kind of deserved it from what I hear, Dr. Who. I mean, seriously? You mind control a dude to stare at a fence all day? Isn't that a little bit cruel?" Naruto wondered.

"Oh, I'll show you cruel. Kill yourself." Kilgrave ordered.

"NO!" Jessica turned around to save him but saw that Naruto didn't move at all and instead just yawned.

"Is that all you got?" Naruto wondered, shrugging his shoulders.

"Didn't you hear me? I said to kill yourself." Kilgrave ordered but Naruto just picked at his fingernails.

"Yeah, I heard you the first time and that's kind of an awful thing to say to someone." Naruto pointed out before he looked over at Jessica. "Isn't that awful?"

"Yeah…" She muttered as Naruto winked before he super sped forward and shoulder slammed Kilgrave in the stomach, sending him crashing into the drum set.

"I give myself an eight out of ten for that one. Nice hit but I was aiming for the amplifier. What do you think?" Naruto asked Jessica.

"Who are you?" Jessica asked him only for Naruto to raise his hand and vibrate it so it sparked with electricity.

"Someone like you. Not all of us are super strong." He told her when he heard Kilgrave groan in pain as he shambled out of the drum set. Naruto walked over to restrain him when he was suddenly punched in the stomach which felt like getting hit by a truck. He flew through the air and was knocked into the Jessica as the two tumbled on the floor.

"Shit…" Jessica groaned as she looked over at Naruto who held his stomach in pain.

"Crap…" Naruto looked up and saw a tall African American man standing in front of Kilgrave with a fairly blank expression but it showed anger. "Is that Luke Cage?"

"Yeah." Jessica said as she got to her feet.

"We're screwed. I think he broke a rib…or six…" He groaned in pain as Kilgrave got back up.

"Mr. Cage had been ordered to ring me about your exploits since before he blew up his seedy little bar. Uh, the 12-hour window at that point was actually 16 hours. Now it's 24…and a hundred yards." Kilgrave smirked as he dabbed the blood on his forehead. "Did you think he was more powerful than me? With his unbreakable skin? Is that why you desired him?"

"Wow…talk about inferiority complex…" Naruto groaned as he managed to get to his knees. His ribs ached and it hurt to breath but he'd be fine soon enough.

"I tried so hard to avoid this Jessica. This is not what I wanted. But you failed the test. Kill them." Kilgrave ordered before he walked away. Luke Cage walked towards them and was going to comply with the order.

"No, don't do this. Luke!" Jessica pleaded as she caught his punch and tried to push him back. The two seemed even so Naruto activated his right gauntlet and grabbed Cage's left ankle before pulling but it didn't do much as he was not only super strong with invincible skin but also weighed a ton.

"Oh, crap." Naruto muttered. Cage then kicked him in the stomach and sent him flying into the bar before he threw Jessica across the room and through a table. Jessica threw two chairs at Cage which he just batted away like it was nothing before she pushed a giant catering cabinet at him but with one bat of his hand it was caved it and knocked aside.

"All those sweet things he said were mine!" Kilgrave shouted as Cage had Jessica pinned up against a wall. He threw out a punch that she ducked and he destroyed part of the wall.

"Get off the stage, asshole!" Naruto threw a bottle of whiskey but Kilgrave ducked. He crawled over the bar and walked over to him which made Kilgrave panic a bit.

"Cage, kill him!" He ordered.

Cage tossed Jessica aside and charged at Naruto full speed. He reached out to grab him but Naruto grabbed his hand during a side step and used Cage's moment to throw him to the ground. Kilgrave saw that this new person was dangerous so he ran and left Cage to deal with him and Jessica. Cage got back up and threw out several punches and kicks that Naruto dodged with ease. Luke Cage was nearly invulnerable, indestructible, and super strong but his speed was no different than a regular human.

Cage tried to grab Naruto but he moved out of his reach just as Jessica rushed over and kicked him in the back so he fell onto his face. "You're stronger than me, Luke. You can push him out." Jessica told him as Luke got back up.

"I…can't…" Cage charged them so Naruto held up his repulsor and fired it point blank in his face. The impact and force was enough to knock him on his back.

"You think that was enough?" Naruto wondered only for Cage to get back to his feet.

"No." She replied.

Naruto remembered how he shocked the guy outside out of Kilgrave's mind control so it could work on Luke Cage. Cage charged at them so Naruto side stepped and jumped onto his back, putting him in a rear naked choke. "Try and hold him!" He shouted so Jessica grabbed Cage's arms to try and keep him from moving. "Sorry about this."

Naruto vibrated his hand at super speed, generating more lightning than he did with the guy outside to consider Cage's indestructible skin before he grab the top of his head and the current went through his entire body. Luke's entire body stiffened up before he fell back and passed out, falling on top of Naruto which felt like having a giant bag of cement bricks fall on you.

"Oh, shit!" Naruto wheezed and struggled to get free as Jessica pulled him out from under Cage's body before helping him back to his feet. "He's like a damn truck."

"Is he dead?" Jessica wondered so Naruto knelt down and checked for a pulse.

"He's fine. Just knocked out." He also checked his breathing and found it was steady.

"What did you do?" Jessica wondered, kneeling down to check on him.

"Just sent a concentrated lightning current through his body. I used it on one of the people that guy mind controlled outside and it knocked him out of whatever was done to him." Naruto explained. "Considering his strength…I used a little extra."

"Are you crazy? That could have killed him or put him in a coma." Jessica told him off only for Naruto to activate his watch and scan Cage's head to get a brain scan.

"He's not in a coma. He's just knocked out but it looks like whatever mind control Kilgrave had him on is broken." Naruto walked over to the bar and grabbed a bottle of strong vodka. He removed the cap and held the bottle in front of Cage's nose, using its strong scent as a sort of mock smelling salts and it was enough to wake him up.

"Luke…" Jessica shook him as he began to regain consciousness. "Are you ok?"

"I think so…" Luke groaned in pain as he managed to sit up with Jessica and Naruto's help. His near invulnerable skin kept him safe and he didn't feel any pain from when Jessica had to fight back but he now had a massive headache. "My head hurts."

"That's probably my fault." Naruto told him as Luke got his first good look at the mystery man who helped Jessica and saved him from Kilgrave's control.

"Who are you?" Cage asked him.

"Just a friend and someone who is still breathing kind of hard after you punched him." Naruto wheezed as he tossed the bottle of vodka to the side. "I sent a concentrated electrical surge through your brain and body. It got rid of whatever Kilgrave uses to control people but I had to give you extra considering what I saw you do. Your head is probably gonna hurt for a bit."

"Small price to pay. Thanks." Cage said as he stood up when they heard police sirens getting closer. "We should get out of here."

"Right." Jessica led them out of the club and onto the street where she and Luke got on her bike. She pressed the pedal and her bike engine sputtered before revving when she looked back and saw Naruto was gone. "Where'd he go?"

"Don't know." Cage replied when they heard more sirens so they drove away before the police could take them into custody and ask them questions.

Jessica and Luke arrived back at her apartment and both were quiet the entire time. Neither had said a word about what happened or the revelation that he had been under Kilgrave's mind control the entire time he was with her. It was a bit of a curveball thrown into their plans and now he knew Jessica was coming after him. She opened up the door to her apartment that still had the broken window and walked into her kitchen to grab a bottle of whiskey. She sat down at her desk and poured herself a glass.

"Jessica…"

"It's ok, Luke." She told him before walking over and hugging him. "I'm just glad you're ok."

"I'm so sorry." Luke told her, wrapping his arms around her. "I tried to stop…but I couldn't. I didn't mean anything I said."

Jessica and Luke enjoyed the small moment of silence and comfort. "You know it's weird. I thought about you. I knew it would never happen but I couldn't help but imagine…us. Like on an actual date. Bowling."

"Bowling?" Luke asked her.

"Just normal shit. You're the first person I ever thought I'd have a future with." She admitted.

[Crack] She and Luke heard a small crack so they turned and saw Naruto standing outside the door with a bag he got from a Halal cart. He had accidently stepped on a piece of broken glass. "Apologies if I ruined a moment. I'll come back later." Naruto told them.

"No, it's fine." Jessica told him so Naruto opened the door and accidently knocked off more of the broken glass.

"I would have knocked but uh…broken glass. Sorry to interrupt again but I figured with the whole mind controlling British douche that maybe we should talk." Naruto suggested, holding up an extra bag of food. "I brought takeout."

"Sounds good." Luke admitted. Naruto put the food on the table when he saw Luke hold his hand out. "Luke Cage."

"Naruto Namikaze. Pleasure to meet you." Naruto shook his hand before looking over at Jessica. "Jessica, we've met."

"Yeah ok, first things first before we have this little pep talk dinner. Who are you? How do you know about me? And how did you find me?" Jessica asked him in her usual tough love tone.

"Just a bag full of kittens isn't she?" Naruto joked before thinking up some bullshit answers. "First of, I'm Naruto. Second, I've heard stories about a tough PI in New York named Jessica Jones so it wasn't that hard. And third, I just used my phone."

"And you were after Kilgrave too?" Luke asked him.

"Not exactly. I've heard about him and his exploits if you want to call it that. British dude mind controlling people and I ran into one of his victims outside the music hall. I didn't know he was going to be there so I just went in to see if there was any evidence or security footage which is when I saw you." Naruto answered as he sat down and took out his chicken and rice. "Can we at least talk and eat?"

"Fine. I'm starving anyway." Jessica replied, sitting in her chair and Luke did the same. They took out some food when Naruto noticed small trail of blood on the floor next to Jessica.

"Are you bleeding?" He asked her and she looked down to see a cut and splotch of blood on her jeans. Naruto reached into his pack and took out a small medical kit.

"I'll be fine." Jessica assured him, wiping some of the blood with a napkin.

"You leave it untreated then it could get infected and you're gonna be not as useful with one leg. Let me take a look at it. Take off your pants." Naruto told her, earning looks from Jessica and Luke.

"I usually like a little more romancing." Jessica pointed out.

"And I'm usually more smooth but given the circumstances it's probably better to make sure it didn't get infected. Besides, I have a girlfriend and I'm in a happy relationship." Naruto told her, taking some gauze and cleaning wipes from his medical kit.

Jessica relented and lowered her jeans as she sat down in her chair. "You know, a lot of the cases I've dealt with have had men in happy relationships." Jessica told him.

"Who screw up their relationships because they can't keep it in their pants, I imagine. But I'd like to think I'm not a horndog. Besides, if I made a move on you I figure you or Luke would just throw me out the window or my girlfriend would kill me. And I enjoy living." Naruto replied, earning a chuckle from both of them as he cleaned her cut with some wipes. Jessica recoiled a bit but toughed through it. "A clean cut and it's a deep one. A few stitches and you should be good."

"So, on top of controlling electricity and being fast you're also a doctor?" Luke wondered.

"And smart as well. Call me a jack of all trades." Naruto began to stich Jessica's wound and she drank some whiskey to help with the pain. "How's your headache by the way?"

"Better thanks." Luke replied. "What I want to know is why weren't you affected by what Kilgrave did?"

"I heal fast." Naruto answered. "Nearly a hundred times faster than a normal human can on a good day. I felt a few broken ribs from when you hit me and they healed up about ten minutes ago."

"That must come in handy." Jessica stated, gritting her teeth through the stiches.

"It does but has its issues. I can't get drunk but no hangovers is a plus." Naruto admitted.

"Sounds like a dream to me." Jessica told him.

"Well, my healing is what keeps Kilgrave from taking over my mind. Whatever virus he emits that lets him control people is simply healed and kicked out as soon as it enters my body. Seeing his expression when he couldn't control me was pretty funny." Naruto finished up the stitching and wrapped some gauze around her leg. "All right, you should be good."

"Thanks." She told him, pulling her pants back up.

"No problem." Naruto replied, putting his medical kit away. "So, how do we stop Dr. Who?"

"We've got to find him first." Jessica replied and Luke took out his phone but it was dead as well as crushed. "Damn, that just got harder."

"What?" Naruto wondered as he took a sip of water.

"Kilgrave had me under his mind control and called him with updates." Luke replied.

"Back to square one." Jessica cursed only for Naruto to take the phone.

"No, it's crushed but I might be able to recover the data from it." Naruto took out his own phone and plugged it in before pressing a few buttons on his watch to see if the data was recoverable. Luckily, the phone wasn't too badly damaged but needed a complete recharge before he could get the information. "Yeah, the data on the phone isn't damaged. Just the screen and interface but I can still get everything off it. Just need to let it recharge."

"Good." Jessica handed him a power cord and he plugged it in.

"So, do you have a plan if we find him?" Naruto wondered.

"All I know is that I can't let him control another person." Jessica stated. "So, I have to kill him."

Line Break xxxxx

After the odd late night dinner Naruto, Jessica, and Luke had the three had to wait until Luke's phone was done charging before they could go after Kilgrave. After their little meal and initial interaction, Jessica and Luke were wiped out so they crashed fairly quickly. Naruto left to find himself a hotel room and promised he be back in the morning.

Jessica woke up in the morning feeling a little groggy but that was usually no different than every other morning. She saw Luke sleeping beside her which made her smile a bit before she got up and got dressed in a clean pair of jeans and a black tank top. She walked out of her bedroom and into the kitchen where she saw her entire apartment was cleaned and fixed up. No more dents in the walls or broken plaster. The roof was clean with no indentations from all the times she had thrown something up and the place looked clean and kind of refurbished.

"What the hell happened here?" Jessica asked herself when she heard some noise coming from the door and saw Naruto fixing the broken glass by the door along with the lock. "What are you doing?"

"Just fixing your door and lock for you. I wasn't busy and it seemed like easy work." Naruto replied, using a screwdriver to tighten a screw.

"And the rest of my apartment?"

"Just cleaned it up. Don't worry, I didn't look anywhere I wasn't supposed to." Naruto promised. "Done."

"Great, now I can slam the door again and break it." Jessica remarked as Naruto walked over with some bags. "What's that?"

"Just some stuff. Uh, some food, medicine, and things like that." Naruto replied, checking Luke's phone before connecting Gideon to it and having her go over the data. "The data on the phone isn't too corrupted so I should be able to pull the data off it. Just give me a minute."

Jessica opened up the bags and found a breakfast burrito so she started to eat and grabbed one of the coffees while watching Naruto work on Luke's phone. "So, where did you come from?" Jessica asked.

"Far away." Naruto answered, speed reading through all the data on Luke's phone and compiling it on his phone before Gideon began sorting through it.

"You could be a little more specific. How did you get your powers?" Jessica wondered, probing for as much information as she could on this mystery guy. He had helped her but her cautious nature indicated that he was hiding something.

"Got struck by a lightning bolt and put in a coma for nine months. I wouldn't recommend it." Naruto replied before looking at Jessica. "I can see you're probing for information as you probably are still wary of me which I get given what's happened. If you want to know something, all you had to do was ask."

"He figured you out pretty quickly." They heard as Luke walked in and took a coffee.

"Not that hard to figure out." Naruto commented.

"All right. Why are you really helping me?" Jessica asked him.

"Because it was the right thing to do."

"Really? It's that simple?" Jessica pointed out.

"To me it is. You saw that Kilgrave's powers don't work on me and I threw a beer bottle at his head so he wants me dead. Not to mention I helped one of the people he mind controlled and hearing what he wanted to do and his personality is enough to know that someone like him doesn't deserve to have those kinds of powers." Naruto told her. "I'm not hard to figure out. I help people. It's what a hero does."

"Well, you'll have to forgive my skepticism but in my experience when something is too good to be true that's because it is." Jessica stated.

"And you'd be right 9 out of 10 times but I'm the one exception. I'm comfortable with my powers so I don't need anymore. I'm super smart so I can outsmart you if I want to, and I've got nothing to gain from screwing with you other then you and Luke trying to kill me. And I don't need money since I'm kind of already set." Naruto reached into his pack and pulled out two small diamonds. "You two can have those. I can get more."

"Where did you get these?" Luke asked, picking one up and it looked like the real deal.

"I repurposed it from a black market arms trafficker who didn't need it." Naruto answered.

"So, you stole it from a weapons dealer?" Jessica asked and Naruto shrugged.

"I'd like to think of it more as…a public service." He corrected. "I'm not clean cut good or an idiot. I'm here to help so you can say yes and we can take Kilgrave down together with minimal headache or you could go solo and make it much harder for yourself?"

Jessica looked over at Luke who just shrugged in response. "Well, when you put it like that how can I refuse. Did you get anything from Luke's destroyed phone?"

"One second." Naruto checked and did find several outgoing calls to a Justin Boden. One quick search and he got enough information. "Yup. All of Luke's outgoing calls are to one Justin Boden. Hedge fund manager, happily married and with an address on the Upper East Side. Not a bad place for a mind controlling sociopath to hold up."

"All right." Jessica gulped down her coffee and threw her breakfast burrito away. "Let's go."

"So, it's just gonna be you two going up against him alone?" Luke asked.

"We can't get the police involved or risk him getting you again, Luke." Jessica pointed out.

"Maybe there's a way we can stop that." Naruto suggested getting both of them to look at him. "Kilgrave's powers…you need to hear him for it to work, right?"

"Yeah. Being near him and listening to him are what get you under his control." Jessica answered.

"But if you don't hear him then nothing happens, right?" Naruto asked and she nodded. "I think I can work out an extra safety measure."

"You can make something that can block out Kilgrave's voice?" Luke asked him as Naruto went over the math in his head before writing down the address to John Boden's apartment.

"I'll meet you both at the address." Naruto super sped out of the apartment with his speed kicking up wind and scattering some papers and napkins arounds.

"That's gonna get annoying really fast." Jessica stated, walking into her room to get changed. She put on her jacket and Luke got cleaned up before they took Luke's motorcycle and drove to the address. They waited outside the building for about a minute and Jessica was getting antsy. "Where is he?"

"He said he'd be here so let's just give it a few more minutes." Luke suggested and Jessica chuckled at that.

"Should I be jealous, Luke? New guy with super speed shows up and saves you and you get all weak in the knees." Jessica remarked and Luke just shrugged.

"Helps he gave me a diamond. I'm a sucker for jewelry."

"Be careful, Luke. With his super speed he might be too fast in the bedroom." Jessica warned him when a sudden gust of wind blew past her and Naruto appeared next to them.

"Juvenile humor but I'll admit it's kind of funny. Luckily, my endurance is also super human so that's not a problem." Naruto pointed out and Jessica relented before he took out a small case that had high-tech ear plugs. "Sorry I'm late but I had to borrow parts for these from uh…let's just say some private facilities."

"And by borrow you mean—"

"Let's move on, shall we." Naruto put two in his ears and handed the rest to Jessica and Luke. "You can hear everything, right? Sounds normal?"

They nodded so Naruto tapped his watch and the earpieces began emitting a faint blue light. The second that happened all the excess and ambient noise of New York City just disappeared and they heard nothing. It was jarring like they had suddenly lost their sense of hearing. A taxi drove by but they couldn't hear the engine and even though they could see a barking dog they heard nothing.

"Kind of jarring, isn't it?" Naruto said and they were able to hear him.

"What is this?" Jessica asked.

"I call it sound masking. The earpieces are essentially reading all excess noise that will enter your ear and then plays it back slightly out of phase so the sound waves cancel each other out so you can't hear anything. The only exception is the radio I put in the ear plugs so we can talk to one another." Naruto explained. "If Kilgrave's powers are really based on his victims being able to hear him then this should take away that advantage and make sure he can't control us if his powers get stronger."

"Not bad." Luke took out one ear piece and the sound returned before he put it back in.

"At least we don't have to worry about Kilgrave taking control of Luke again." Jessica said.

"True but again these things kill all ambient noise so we'll be essentially walking in their deaf. Keep an extra eye out." Naruto warned them. "And try not to get tossed around. I didn't have time to make these things indestructible so press them deep into the ear and try not to get hit."

Jessica and Luke pressed the earpieces deeper into their ears before making their way into the building and up the elevator. They walked down the hall to the apartment which they saw had the door slightly cracked open. They stopped and Naruto activated one of his gauntlets and the blade before checking his watch's sensor and it picked up two heat signatures. He signaled to them that there were two people inside and they nodded before he slowly opened the door and walked in followed by Jessica and Luke.

Naruto immediately saw a dead body on the floor next to a syringe and a bottle of drain cleaner. He checked the body but there was no pulse and he was cold so he must have been dead for a while. Kilgrave must have ordered the guy to kill himself with a syringe of drain cleaner. They walked in and saw the kitchen and living area was a mess with blood stains all over the place which came from an elderly man on the floor. Given the surgical saw and kitchen knife next to his body and his missing arms, they were cut off and he died from blood loss which is when they saw a guy over by the sink.

"Hey!" Jessica shouted. "Hey, where's Kilgrave?!"

The man turned so they could see the scene and it was horrific. The man was trying to get rid of the older man's arms by using the sink's garbage disposal. "Jesus Christ." Naruto muttered.

"Hey, stop!" Jessica shoved him back and turned off the garbage disposal.

"I have to remove dad from the face of the earth!" The man begged.

"No, you don't. Stop! It's ok." Jessica assured him.

"Then we have to kill ourselves!" The man struggled to get free only for Jessica to kick him into Naruto who shocked him in the head and he went down quickly.

"I put a little extra in that. I don't think he's gonna want to see what he did." Naruto said as he and Luke checked the rest of the apartment but there was no one else.

"Place is empty. Kilgrave is long gone." Luke told Jessica.

"Dammit." She seethed in anger before seeing the black garbage bags piled up and a lone picture frame on the kitchen table. It showed the two men from the apartment next to a boat named Goldfish.

Naruto checked on the dead man with the cut off arms and pulled out a photograph from his pocket of him, a woman, and a young boy. He put it back when the man gasped and woke up. "Holy shit…"

Jessica rushed over and the elderly man focused his attention on her. "He's stronger now. Don't listen. Don't look at him. He'll make you kill."

"Where did he go?" Jessica asked but the man's head just tilted to the side. "Albert?!"

Naruto checked his pulse but he was gone. "He's gone." He told her before taking a look around the place. "If Kilgrave's not here then we need to find him before he hurts more people. What the hell was he doing here anyway and what did he want destroyed?"

Jessica brought over one of the garbage bags and began taking stuff out. "Syringes, a centrifuge, chemicals. Some of the same shit we saw before when we were following up the lead at Zalk labs." She said as Naruto took a look at some of the stuff and began going through the science in his head when he saw a vial.

"Fetal tissue. Who's Hope Shlottman?"

"Someone we couldn't save. Did you say fetal tissue?" Jessica asked and Naruto showed her container along with marker that said submitted for testing by Jeri Hogarth. "She's a fucking idiot."

Jessica marched away and took out her phone to call someone leaving Naruto and Luke alone. "I'd hate to be on the other end of that call." Luke commented when he saw Naruto just seemed to be standing there looking at the bottle and the other supplies. "What is it?"

"The old man said Kilgrave got stronger…he must have used this fetal sample to do that. And judging by how angry Jessica got, the embryo probably has a connection to Kilgrave. That's why he wants all this gone. Erase all evidence of his powers getting stronger." Naruto began speeding through all the garbage and notes that were left behind and not destroyed while Jessica was on the phone.

"Biological material, fetal tissue, Hope Shlottman. Submitted to testing by J. Hogarth." Jessica said to her as she watched Naruto work through the math and super sped away to get some stuff before returning. "No, it made him stronger."

"I don't know what else I can do to pay for my mistakes. I have bled for them, I have lost everything that I care about. Pam is facing murder charges, and she won't see me, and my partners are forcing me out." Jeri Hogarth told her.

"Don't let them. Fight them." Jessica told her as she watched Naruto draw out some of his blood to begin making something. "You are who you are. A sack of dark oozing shit in an expensive suit. Which makes you the best shark in town, and you're gonna represent Justin Boden pro bono. He's another one of Kilgrave's victims. He's gonna be charged with murder. Keep him safe. I'll text you the info and this does not make us square. But doing something good helps with the self-loathing. Trust me."

Jessica hung up after that and saw Luke watching Naruto work on something. "You should take up therapy. I think people would really benefit from it." Naruto joked, speed shaking a vial with various liquids until they combined into an orange glowing liquid.

"Bite me. What's with the science lab set up?" Jessica asked him.

"Naruto thinks he might be able to make something that can stop Kilgrave." Luke explained.

"Like a cure?" Jessica wondered.

"Maybe." Naruto replied, looking at the orange glowing liquid with trepidation. "Given how thorough Kilgrave had them be in getting rid of evidence I don't have a lot to go on other then what I've been able to scan of his powers. But combining that with what I know, traces of what we have and our experiences with Kilgrave I think I synthesized something that might be able to stop him."

"You used your blood, didn't you?" Jessica questioned.

"Yeah. I have a natural immunity to his powers given my accelerated healing. My body essentially heals and kills whatever Kilgrave's body does when he uses his powers. I used my blood as a base and combining that with everything else might have made a cure." Naruto explained.

"Might?" Jessica asked.

"I don't have the right set up or equipment to completely test this but if I did the math right and I always do…there is a 50% chance this stops Kilgrave's powers for good." Naruto stated.

"And the other 50%?" Luke had to ask.

"My blood isn't compatible with normal blood. It's general genetic makeup is different combined with the accelerated activity of the cells…the other 50% chance is that the accelerated blood leads to an increase in red blood cell production and respiratory activity followed by musculature rigor mortis and possible brain hemorrhaging before eventually overactivity of the heart. It'll give him a heart attack and kill him." Naruto said with a no nonsense tone given the gravity of the situation. "I know that you said you had to kill Kilgrave and after what I've seen he's done you'll get no argument from me that he's a bad person but this could solve the issue for good."

"So instead of killing him with my bare hands we'll poison him. Much more humane." Jessica remarked.

"Or it could cure him and he could spend the rest of his days in jail, feeling completely powerless and pathetic. A quick death or the rest of his life knowing that he can never hurt someone and the only thing that made him special is gone?" Naruto suggested, putting the liquid into a syringe. "With his personality and mind, seeing him breakdown at losing his powers and ability to control people must seem appealing."

"A bit." Jessica admitted. "Whether we cure him or kill him means nothing until we find him. And I think I know where he is."

Jessica held up the picture with the boat on it. "Goldfish? Kind of a weird name for a boat." Luke admitted.

"It's docked at the Hudson Ferry Terminal. I found the bills." Jessica stated. "He must be feeling confident."

"It's a trap. With his increase in powers, he could have a whole bunch of people there and even police." Luke stated.

"And we're three super powered idiots who want to do some good. Sounds fair to me." Jessica remarked.

"She's got a point. And we know it's trap so we can make it work on our terms." Naruto suggested and Jessica started to smirk.

A few hours later…

The sun had set and the Hudson Ferry Terminal was empty with no sign of anyone working. Jessica walked into the terminal with her hood up and her gaze down. As she walked into the building, Kilgrave walked in from the back entrance so he could see her. "And here we are for the last and final round." He remarked but she didn't say anything and kept walking. "Too afraid to look me in the eye. Present arms."

Ten police officers came from the back and the stairs and they surrounded Jessica with their guns drawn. "Just in case dad's potion doesn't work." Jessica kept walking as the officers kept their guns drawn on her. "Jessica, I demand that you show me your face—"

Kilgrave was cut off when the fire alarm went off, drowning out her voice. Jessica then removed her hood to reveal it wasn't Jessica but her adopted sister Trish. She had the high-tech earpieces blocking out any noise and kept her eyes to the ground.

"Oh, for god's sake, it's Patsy!" Kilgrave groaned when Trish was suddenly whisked away by something moving at super speed and she was gone. Then something moving at super speed knocked into all the officers and sent them flying throughout the room.

Jessica then appeared on the balcony and jumped down to the ground floor where she glared at Kilgrave with a burning anger. He tried to yell a command at her but the drowning noise from the alarm muffled his voice and Naruto's earpieces kept it so she heard nothing. Kilgrave saw he had no effect on her so he ran.

"Trish is safe and several blocks away, Jessica. She's good. Luke and I are ready in case there's any interference." Naruto radioed in.

"Thanks." She went after Kilgrave through the back door to the terminal where she saw several dozen civilians lined up while he kept moving to the yacht.

"Unbelievable. Ready the yacht." Kilgrave ordered and the boat hands did that. "Start killing each other, now!"

The civilians dropped their lifeless robot phase and began to attack one another only for something to move in at super speed and blur through the area. Several seconds later, all the civilians were knocked out and tied up with rope so they weren't a danger to each other.

Kilgrave's smug smile vanished as Jessica kept walking and he began to panic. He raced to the boat but saw it suddenly stopped, likely due to the giant hole ripped out of the side where the engine was. "Stop, Jessica! Stop!" He ordered but she kept moving. "I said stop! STOP!"

Jessica just grabbed him and lifted him into the air. "Smile." She then jabbed him in the neck with the syringe and tossed him to the ground.

Kilgrave groaned in pain and reached for his neck when he saw the syringe in Jessica's hands. "What did you do?"

"Cured you. With some help." Jessica remarked as Naruto and Luke walked onto the scene. Luke was carrying the yacht's engine which he quickly tossed aside.

"Cured me?" Kilgrave thought that was a joke as Naruto checked his watch and smiled before he took out his earpieces.

"She's right. Well, I cured you but she did the deed." Naruto said as he nodded to the others. "It's done. His powers are gone."

"You sure?" Luke asked and Naruto nodded so he and Jessica removed the earpieces.

"Luke, grab that man and snap his neck." Kilgrave ordered but Luke just stood there. "I said to grab that man and snap his neck!"

"No." Luke replied.

"Like I said, Kilgrave…we cured you." Jessica told him. "Your powers are gone. You can't hurt anyone ever again."

"No, I don't believe you. Luke, kill them both!" Kilgrave shouted but Luke did nothing. Kilgrave looked at the two dock hands who came off the ship and smiled. "You two, help me up!"

The two dock hands just looked confused at what was going on. "You two might want to get the police inside. This guy here broke into the place, kidnapped all these people, and kept you against your will. Go on." Naruto ushered them and they did, running away. "Like she said, Kilgrave it's over. Your powers are gone."

"No…no, it can't be." Kilgrave was defeated as Jessica walked over and he backed away in terror. "Stay away from me!"

"No one is ever gonna have to do what you say again." Jessica grabbed him by the tie and yanked him up to his feet so she could see him face to face. "The serum we injected you with cured you but there is still a chance it'll kill you which is what I'm hoping for. But I think my friend was right that death is too easy for you. You're gonna go to jail…you're gonna rot in prison if someone doesn't kill you first…and honestly I'm betting on that. You're nothing more than the disgusting, weak piece of shit that you've always been…only this time you can't hurt anyone or make them feel the same. It's over."

She dropped him to the ground and walked away with Luke and Naruto following. "It's never over, Jessica! What I did to you will never be gone. I'll undo what you did to me. I'll get my powers back and I'll make your life a living nightmare. You'll come crawling, begging on your knees for me to stop but I won't stop! Nothing can stop me!" Kilgrave declared only for Naruto to turn around and kick him across the face. Given the crack they heard it likely broke his jaw.

"Just shut up…" Naruto told him. The police from inside the terminal came out and saw the scene with the civilians tied up. "Help! That man kidnapped all of us!"

"Yeah, he's one of those super people!" Jessica added, quickly playing the part of innocent bystander.

The police quickly untied the civilians tied up with the rope and two men secured Kilgrave. They weren't sure what was going on but they knew that he had control of them and forced them to do what he said. They weren't sure what the hell happened but knew the British man in the purple suit was responsible. Seeing Kilgrave taken by the police without his powers was very satisfying and Jessica couldn't be happier.

Line Break xxxxx

Naruto was walking down the street of Manhattan towards Hell's Kitchen with some bags in his hands to go see Jessica. He stopped at a newspaper stand to pick up a paper of the New York Bulletin and chuckled at the headline. It read, Mind Control Hoax: mastermind behind bars and it was a complete with an unflattering picture of Kilgrave screaming at the camera with his mouth in a brace from Naruto's kick. It had been three days since Kilgrave was taken into custody on multiple accounts of kidnapping, theft, coercion, attempted murder, and aiding and abetting attempted murder.

"Heh-heh…" Naruto couldn't help but smile.

"Mind control. What an idiot." The newspaper stand owner remarked. He was an elderly man in his mid-70s with grey hair, glasses, and a nice mustache. His nametag read Stan. The man looked at Naruto with confusion. "You're not from around here, are you?"

"No, uh…I'm not. Just passing through but helping some friends before I head home." Naruto replied.

"True sign of a hero is someone who is willing to put his trip to home and loved ones on hold to help other people without asking for anything. Stay safe, true believer." He told Naruto.

"Thanks." Naruto smiled and walked down the street before he looked back and saw the old man helping someone else. "Heh…nice old man."

Naruto walked down the street and into Jessica's apartment building where he got on the elevator.

"Hold the door, please!" He heard someone say.

Naruto quickly held the door open so the person could get on and it was Trish. "Oh, hey it's you. Uh…Narto, right?"

"It's Naruto. And you're Trish, Jessica's sister."

"I am. I guess this is our first time meeting since the last time was kind of abrupt."

"Oh, I don't know. I mean Jessica could have taken us to a bar where we could meet like regular people but where else can you say that you met someone while helping to take down a mind controlling sociopath and saving a whole bunch of innocent people? It's quite a conversation starter." Naruto joked and Trish chuckled.

"It's nice to see Jessica's taste in friends have gotten better." Trish said with a smile.

"If by friend you mean helpful good Samaritan with super powers then sure. And she's certainly has a brave sister. It's nice to know that being a hero isn't limited to just her. Helping us took a lot of courage." Naruto praised her.

"Well, I was motivated. So, any chance I can get you on my radio show for an interview? I bet my fans would love to meet a new superhero who is apparently fast enough to get me out of a dangerous situation in the blink of an eye." Trish wondered.

"Sorry, Trish but I don't think that's a good idea but I will compromise and answer any and all questions that you may have." Naruto replied and Trish smiled. The elevator ride was filled with questions upon questions until they arrived on Jessica's floor and even then it was more questions.

"So, because of your super speed you have this super-fast metabolism?" Trish asked, writing everything down in a notebook.

"It's sort of a tradeoff for the powers. No superpowers come without a limitation, weakness, or side effect. I'm not only able to run at super speed but my metabolism and body are as well. It lets me heal fast from injuries but that healing and using my speed requires my body to go through a lot of calories and energy to keep it up. Even on a day I don't use my powers I have to consume at least 50,000 calories to make sure I don't pass out." Naruto explained as they walked down the hallway to Jessica's door.

"Wow, that's a lot of food." Trish noted as she wrote it down.

"Yup. Thankfully my body burns it but the calorie and energy intake is always something I have to keep aware about with my powers." Naruto knocked on the door and they waited for an answer.

"Interesting. So, Naruto I have to ask. A guy like you with super powers, is so smart, talented, helpful, kind and…" Trish looked Naruto up and down when she noticed he caught her gaze and quickly refocused. "…arguably handsome…do you have any intentions towards Jessica?"

"No, Trish. I'm in a happily committed relationship. Besides…" Naruto stopped as Luke opened up the door. "…if I did then I'd have to contend with Power Man here and I like living. Hey, Luke."

"Hey. What's going on?" Luke asked.

"Nothing." Trish and Naruto replied as Jessica walked in from the kitchen.

"What's going on?" Jessica asked.

"Just thought I'd stop after three days of no radio contact. Sorry for that but I've been a little busy on handling the Kilgrave situation. Just crossing some T's and dotting some I's. We don't have to worry about him anymore, that's for sure even if he gets out of prison." Naruto promised.

"How can you be so sure? What if he gets his powers back?" Luke pointed out.

"Which is what I was working on for the past three days along with some other stuff." Naruto answered and he had everyone's attention. "I slipped into the jail they were keeping Kilgrave in and took some samples of his blood to run some more tests and see how my serum was doing. It was working but I wanted to account for long term potentiation and the possibility of the virus coming back or even mutating so I went to a few private laboratories and even some government ones and experimented with some stem cell genetic therapy with brain development and control and…"

Naruto stopped himself as he saw he just confused everyone with his science talk. "How about you skip to the end." Jessica told him.

"Right. Short version, sorry. Anyway, I managed to make another serum to sew up any potential cracks or leaks in my original serum. This time I was able to get more accurate data on Kilgrave and his body so the serum is better tuned. His powers are gone for good and there's no way they're coming back." Naruto promised.

Everyone let that sink in for a moment and they couldn't help but smile. After everything Kilgrave had done to them, he was now without his powers and done for. He would either spend years in jail, get himself killed, or wander around the rest of his life knowing that everything that made him powerful and special is gone. A dirtbag like him didn't deserve a quick and easy death.

"So, it's really over?" Jessica sat down and had to take it all in.

"It is. His powers are never coming back. With everything the police and those eye witnesses have they'll at least be able to charge Kilgrave with enough to keep him in prison. Even if by some miracle they decide to let him go then his attitude alone will probably get him killed but just in case…" Naruto took out an extra smartphone from one of the bags and handed it to her. He turned it on and the only thing that was active on the phone was a tracking program and it was tracking one thing. "I also injected him with some nanites of my own design which can be tracked using that phone. It'll let you know if he gets within a one-mile radius. Just in case something happens then you can find him."

"Wow, talk about prepared for the worst." Trish remarked.

"This is me dotting my Is and crossing my Ts. Kilgrave is done which means I've done another good thing, we all get to be the hero even though no one knows about it but hooray team." Naruto commented, before putting the rest of the bags on the table. "And I brought gifts."

"And how much of that did you steal?" Luke wondered.

"Only the stuff that was originally stolen or belonged to really bad people who got them via very bad means." Naruto pointed out before he took out a small bag. "Speaking of which, I figured that all of this personal work probably didn't pay anything and two diamonds probably won't do much so here is more."

Naruto placed a small bag on the ground and judging by the jingle and clatter it was pretty obvious what it was. If that wasn't enough then the bag spilled open and out poured some gold krugerrands and assorted gems.

"Whoa…" Trish was in disbelief as she walked over and picked up a diamond the size of a quarter. "Where did you get this?"

"From a horrible black market arms dealer named Ulysses Klaue. I sort of interrupted his operation when I first got here and took some stuff he didn't need including Vibranium. I could only carry so much stuff the first time so I went back a few days ago but when I did he wised up to the fact that someone stole something from him and he moved the Vibranium. I still haven't been able to find the rest but I did get his money so that's a plus. I cleaned him out." Naruto chuckled as Jessica picked up some of the gold krugerrands. "Use it, donate it to charity, or whatever but it's yours. I also used some of his money to make various charitable donations to New Yorkers and people in need."

"A regular superhero, aren't you?" Jessica remarked and Naruto shrugged.

"I try my best. And I've got some other stuff too, here." Naruto pulled out a dark yellow/grey T-shirt and handed it to Luke. "There you go. I had that made special. It's made of a special kelvar composite material with nice linen and breathes like the best shirt you can wear. Bulletproof shirt for the bulletproof man since I figured you'd get annoyed buying new shirts and stuff that get scuffed up."

"Smart man." Luke looked it over and it was nice.

"Double-XL, sort of had to guess your size and its dryer safe so enjoy." Naruto smiled before taking out some other stuff which included a special tea box, some gift coupons, a flash drive, and a tiny travelers size bottle of whiskey that had the company label removed and replaced with Naruto's smiling face.

"Really?" Jessica looked at the bottle in disbelief while Trish and Luke just chuckled.

"What? I made it so why not advertise this handsome face. I'd be careful with that, Jessica. I know you could probably drink anyone under the table except for me but that is special alcohol." Naruto warned her.

"What's so special about it?" Trish wondered.

"With my metabolism, normal alcohol doesn't affect me. Even the most homemade and strongest moonshine in the world is basically like water. That's homemade speedster based alcohol so it's essentially like 1000proof. It's more than a hundred times more concentrated than anything you've probably had so be careful. Too big a gulp and that will definitely get you drunk with a hangover that you wish will kill you." Naruto warned.

"Yeah, so let's put that in a safe place." Trish walked over and took the bottle from her hands. "And everything else?"

"Just some stuff to help Jessica relax that she might like. I know that your abrasive personality is one of the things that many people probably…like about you but I have some special tea that you can drink when you're feeling particularly pissed off and will calm you down right away. Along with that are some gift receipts to the city's best spas and such paid in full should you want a day to treat yourself." Naruto suggested.

"Yeah, because when you see me you see spa treatments and seaweed wraps." Jessica remarked.

"Hey, if you don't want it then I'll take them." Trish grabbed the receipts and smiled. They were to some of the best spas in the city and would normally cost a fortune.

"Well, I think this you'll like." Naruto held up the flash drive. "It's got a special hacking program on it which will help with your PI work. Just upload it to your phone and you can use it to bypass almost any alarm or digital lock there is. Plus, I did a little internet hacking and removed any kind of mention, newspaper clipping, or blog post about Jessica Jones and her powers so people should be able to leave you alone."

"That I'll take with a smile on my face." Jessica reached over and took the flash drive with a smile.

"I also would have offered you a relaxing message and dinner but I figured you're not someone for that and you'd probably throw me out the window if I tried to touch you so I'll leave it at that plus the gold." Naruto stated.

"Very smart." Jessica replied as she looked at Naruto. "So, what are you gonna do now? Heading home yet?"

"Maybe. There was some kind of seismic disturbance followed by a quantum entanglement energy field fluctuation in the Adirondack mountains I want to check out but I might head home after. But I'll try and stop before I leave so I can say goodbye." Naruto promised.

"Well, if you ever need a PI then you know where to find me. And thank you, Naruto." Jessica said to him in a real moment of honesty and emotional vulnerability. "For everything."

"You're welcome." Naruto replied. "Would it be out of line to offer a hug goodbye or will you punch me in the stomach?"

"In this case I guess it's ok." Jessica relented and the two shared a hug. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Naruto hugged her back before he hugged Trish. "It was nice to meet you, Trish."

"You, too. And thank you for everything you've done for Jessica."

"My pleasure." Naruto replied as he shook hands with Luke and groaned a bit as Luke's grip hurt. "Luke…take care."

"You too. You ever come by again come find me and I'll show you around Harlem. I know a guy who'll cut your hair for free." Luke suggested only for Naruto to touch his spikey hair.

"Yeah, appreciate it but I'm not changing my hair." Naruto told him before he secured his bag and headed to the door. "Take care. And Jessica…try not to get yourself into trouble."

"Feels like something I should be saying to you." Jessica pointed out.

"Well, at this point trouble is kind of second nature to me. And besides…what's a little trouble to make things interesting." Naruto winked as his eyes flickered with electricity before he super sped away in a blast of wind.

"Whoa…" Trish muttered, seeing Naruto's powers only for the second time and it was incredible.

"What do you really think?" Luke asked Jessica.

"I think he's kind of a goody-goody guy and talks a lot but…" Jessica couldn't help herself but chuckle. "…He's definitely unique, that's for sure."

Line Break xxxxx

Adirondack Mountains, New York State

Naruto followed all the data Gideon intercepted on the seismic activity and Quantum Entanglement energy fluctuation field and arrived at its source which looked like it was a camp ground that was hit with a sudden and very contained tornado.

"Whoa…" Naruto looked around and was intrigued at what could have caused this. He activated the scanner in his watch and it wasn't picking up any residual Quantum energy but instead he found the remnants of whatever kind of security system was set up for the area. He saw what looked like a cabin nearby and at first you'd think it would be a camping cabin or a private retreat but that was less likely. A camping cabin wouldn't have a top of the line motion tracking sensor system with a vast net of high-tech security cameras and a laser fence around the perimeter. Granted the laser fence was destroyed but this was top of the line security tech which meant this place was either owned by a private company or a governmental agency.

He walked through the destroyed perimeter and saw some shell casings, a few destroyed firearms, and a blood coated splinter of wood. "Jeez…hate to see how this fight turned out. Gideon, any residual Quantum energy?"

"I'm not picking up any residual traces but I'm currently tapped into all orbiting satellites so I'll keep watch for any similar pop ups."

"Good. Was there any kind of lease or ownership contract for this area?" Naruto wondered.

"There is one for a private holding company that belonged to a subsidiary and then a private LLC belonging to SHIELD. It was set up on a continuous payment plan."

"So, this place belonged to SHIELD then what the hell happened here?" Naruto asked himself when he accidently kicked a camera that was on the ground. "Bingo."

He pulled out a cable from his pack and plugged in his phone to download the data but as he was doing this, a four-wheel rough and ready jeep had driven up to the property as well. One of the car's occupants slowly and quietly snuck up behind Naruto with a pistol and was ready to take him by surprise but that wasn't going to work. Hearing the subtle shift of the grass behind him, Naruto turned and grabbed his attack's arm before throwing him to the ground with a hip throw. He got control of the gun and his arm with a wrist lock and took it before aiming the pistol at the man's head.

"Damn, that hurt." The man replied with his voice and accent showing he was British.

"Hi there. Nice to meet you." Naruto smiled before aiming his gun to the side where he saw an older man walked out from the trees with gun. "Having a nice walk fellas?"

"Something like that. Do you mind letting my friend go?" The man asked him.

"Oh, that depends on whether you two just so happened to be innocent bystanders who wondered into this area or from what I'm guessing to be more accurate, SHIELD agents. So, are you here to see what happened or are you actually Hydra agents in disguise?" Naruto wondered.

"Like that's bloody gonna happen. Coulson, just shoot him." The man said.

"Wait, Phil Coulson?" Naruto asked and the man nodded. "A lot of the SHIELD files on this earth pretty much point you as a great agent and you were the one who helped bring the Avengers together. I thought you were supposed to be dead?"

"Didn't stick." Coulson replied.

"Oh, I know how that goes." Naruto let go of Hunter's wrist before he ejected the pistol's magazine, pulled the slide back and took it apart. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Agent Coulson. The name's Naruto."

"Likewise. You already know my compatriot, Lance Hunter." Coulson walked over with his gun still at the ready. "What are you doing here?"

"Doing what any dimension traveling superhero would do when he finds himself on another hero and is still playing the hero? Investigate seismic activity and Quantum Entanglement energy fields." Naruto answered.

"Did you say dimension traveling superhero?" Hunter asked him.

"Indeed, I did. Allow me to introduce myself. Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, alias Impulse. Super genius, crimefighter extraordinaire, super speedster, and for the last several months traveler of the multiverse." Naruto took a dramatic bow after his own introduction while Hunter and Coulson looked at him in confusion and mild interest.

"Really? You're a superhero?" Hunter asked rhetorically so Naruto just sped past them in a whoosh of air and vanished before reappearing with a box of donuts he got miles away.

"Plus, super genius and traveler of the multiverse." Naruto added.

"I'm convinced." Coulson replied. Naruto offered him a donut but he passed as he checked the area. "Was there anyone here when you arrived?"

"No. I got here about five minutes ago and the place was empty? I'm guessing this place isn't a regular cabin retreat. Because if it is then the amount of security here is kind of overkill." Naruto pointed out. "I'm still trying to figure out what the hell happened here though."

"It's Skye." Coulson answered, looking around at the scene of the crime.

"Skye did this? Did they do this to her or did she do it to them?" Hunter wondered so Naruto kicked one of the security cameras on the ground.

"One way to figure out." Naruto pointed out.

Coulson, Hunter, and Naruto went to the cabin to tap into the security camera system and find out what happened. There they got security footage of a late night attack against this Skye person who was supposed to be staying here. The footage showed a man shoot her with a bullet before she emitted some kind of concussive wave that deflected the bullet, knocked back her attackers, and destroyed the surrounding terrain.

"Wow…that's a first." Naruto muttered.

"My god. Skye's doing that?" Hunter was in disbelief. "Glad she's on our side. She's still on our side, isn't she?"

"This isn't good." Coulson stated.

"Well, at least they didn't take her. That means she's out there, so we'll find her and—that's new." Hunter said when the footage showed a mysterious man in a trench coat appear via an energy field before taking Skye and vanishing in the same energy field he seemed to produce. "Did she just get abducted by aliens? What the hell was that?"

"We don't know what he is. He took Skye's father and Raina." Coulson told him.

"Seriously? I was only gone a week." Hunter remarked.

"We don't know where he comes from, where he goes, or who he works for. He doesn't leave trails or clues." Coulson listed off. "I lost her."

"I might be able to answer a few questions and fill in a few blanks about what might have happened to give you some information?" Naruto suggested.

"And why would you help us?" Hunter asked him. "For all we know you could be secretly working with Hydra or whoever this guy is."

"Pffft, please like I would ever work for a Nazi death cult. My family may have fought for the Axis powers during World War 2 but that's only because we're from Japan so don't hold that on me. And I'm helping you because it's what I do. I help people both in and out of costume and…" Naruto looked over at Coulson. "…if this Skye is really important to you then I'm happy to help find her."

Coulson looked at Naruto and the two shared a quick intense stare down. "What can you tell us?" Coulson asked him.

"Well, if that guy took Skye then we might be able to track him. It's how I ended up here. I was tracking a Quantum Entanglement energy signature." Naruto told them as he looked around for a pen and paper to write stuff down when he saw a large picture on the wall. He took it off to use the back of it but saw it was covering a monitor. "Perfect, Gideon connect to the cabin's system please for visual aids?"

Naruto pressed a few buttons on his watch and soon enough Gideon connected to the whole cabin system. "I'm fully connected. Hello Agent Coulson, Lance Hunter."

"What the hell is that?" Lance asked.

"Oh, that's Gideon. She's my personal AI. Gideon, introduce yourself." Naruto told her.

"Greetings, I am Gideon, an artificial conscious created by Naruto Namikaze. And to help elaborate and back our statement of being from another earth, please direct your attention to the diagram on the screen." Gideon brought up the map of the multiverse and included location of Earth-1 versus Earth-19999.

"She's connected to your phones as well and uploaded the information so you can confirm for yourselves later but I'll start with tracking the teleporter. Gideon, please bring up visual aids for Quantum Entanglement please?" Naruto asked.

"Of course." Gideon brought up a lot of science information and visual aids about objects being affected by a quantum state.

"Now Quantum entanglement is kind of wordy and sciency so I'll try and simplify it but essentially it's the connection of two objects, particles or whatever via a quantum state. That just means that every single probability for outcomes of the particles or objects is known and can be predicted. So, when one thing happens to one object you know the probability of what will happen to the other." Naruto explained and the visual aids Gideon provided help with the lesson.

"So, two objects connected together via an energy field?" Coulson asked and Naruto nodded.

"Yes, just an energy field that is unseen in the physical world. Sort of like the phenomenon of luck. Good luck happens to you and bad luck happens to someone else. Two objects connected to one another." Naruto added.

"Ok, starting to get it." Hunter muttered.

"The energy I picked up was a Quantum Entanglement energy field and after seeing what happened on the video I think I have an idea on what that mystery guy can do. He's a teleporter." Naruto stated. "The energy field he creates is essentially an anchor to one point on the planet. Well, less an anchor and more like a concentrated burst of photons that mark and area but anyway. He then can move to another point via a Quantum field and lay another anchor if we're continuing with the metaphor. And between those two anchor points is a Quantum tunnel which allows this teleporter to move between the two points instantaneously so he could travel from Australia to New York in the blink of an eye via this Quantum Tunnel."

"I actually think I understood that." Hunter remarked.

"Can he be tracked?" Coulson asked him.

"Well, I was able to pick up the energy field he used when he arrived here to take Skye. I have Gideon tasked into satellites so the next time he shows up it'll track where he arrives. Granted, I'm fast but getting an instantaneous teleporter is still kind of out of my wheelhouse but with enough information I can narrow down a possible home location he arrived at." Naruto suggested.

"Thank you." Coulson said to him and Naruto smiled.

"Again, like I said I'm happy to help. Besides, I could tell that this Skye is really important to you and I understand that." Naruto replied. "Now, I'll do better work when I have some food in me. How does Chinese sound?"

"Good to me. Dumplings please and Shrimp Lo Mein." Hunter ordered.

"Roasted Pork." Coulson put his order in.

"Got it. See you soon." Naruto then super sped out of the area in a whoosh of air and flicker of lightning.

"Ok, that is really cool." Hunter remarked and looked at Coulson. "You've been rather trusting of a guy we just met. Are you sure he's really one of the good guys?"

"I'd like to say I have a knack for reading people and telling if they're good or not but after Bobbi and Mack I think it's lost a bit of its effectiveness." Coulson replied.

"True but you did tell me that you suspected Bobbi and Mack of being up to something so you were partially right." Hunter pointed out. "I mean, I know the guy ended the standoff, didn't kill us despite the multitude of opportunities he's had and says he's willing to help us find Skye but do you really believe this whole dimension traveling thing? It's a load of crock, right?"

"I'm not sure. The world used to think aliens were nothing but superstition until the Battle of New York and I've seen stranger. Plus, there's been no mention of an enhanced person on the Index with his kind of powers. Then again after what happened with Skye I think our Index list is lacking." Coulson admitted. "Still, he's willing to help us, he's smart, he has powers and we're out of options."

Hunter agreed with that and it was the least bad of the options they had. "All right but if he poisons us then I get to say I told you so in the afterlife."

"Granted." Coulson replied as the two got comfortable in the cabin. Hunter reached into his bag and took out two glasses and a flask of whiskey which he poured into the glasses for him and Coulson to drink which they did. "Do you usually travel with glasses and a flask of whiskey?"

"You never know when you're gonna need something to keep you warm on a cold night." Hunter replied.

"Two glasses?"

"The other one's for the person keeping me warm. But in your case, I'll make an exception." Hunter grabbed the flask to pour again but Coulson stopped him.

"I need to keep my head clear." Coulson told him before getting up and heading over to the window while Hunter poured himself another glass. "SHIELD and Skye gone in one day—how could I let that happen?"

"There's no way you could have known. They fooled all of us. Bobbi and Mack are conniving liars and thieves and the next time I see either of them I'll—"

"They're good agents. Try to see it from the other side." Coulson vouched.

"Screw their side." Hunter stated. "There are very few people in this world that I'd throw down with, but you're one of them. Gonzales, the Love Boat Captain? Not if hell froze over."

"He's a brilliant tactician who dedicated his life to SHIELD. I ran into him a couple of times at the Triskelion. He's not a bad guy." Coulson told Hunter.

"Good guys don't usually stab you in the back." Hunter pointed out.

"Maybe he's got a point. I was dead, after all. I shouldn't even be here."

"We all have our bad days." Hunter commented. "Well, maybe we should forget all this? Head down to Mexico where we can lay low and enjoy the quiet life."

"That's not an option." Coulston stated with finality. "The problem is, there are no good options."

"Well, maybe it's time for the bad ones. Or better yet, option C as in call in the super-fast superhero." Hunter remarked when they heard chewing and saw Naruto sitting in the corner eating some dumplings. "When did you get here?"

"Oh, about…a minute ago. Right in the middle of you naming the Love Boat Captain and Coulson trying to play devil's advocate." Naruto put the rest of the food and some other bags on the table. "Delivery straight from Flushing's Chinatown."

"Great, I'm starving." Hunter walked over and grabbed his food when he noticed how much was bought. "Are you a compulsive eater?"

"No, it's a hyper metabolism thing. My speed lets me run and heal fast but it requires a lot of calories and energy to use so got to keep my blood sugar up." Naruto answered, finishing his dumplings, and taking out his container of roast pork before handing Coulson one. "Has its benefits though. No hangovers is a plus but can't get drunk so drinking is no fun."

"Shame." Hunter remarked as Coulson looked at his food.

"If the opinion of a wayward multiverse traveler means anything…just because the other guys may not be bad guys doesn't mean they're the best good guys." Naruto told Coulson. "From what I can gather, this Love Boat Gonzalez guy planted this Bobbi and Mack as double agents into your group. They were friends, which meant that the betrayal hurts even more. Their job was to find out what secrets you were keeping from them when all along he was keeping himself a secret from you instead of just talking to you and to again point out you don't know what his ultimate goal is, what he wants, or how all this fits. Kind of a paradox you got here, Coulson."

"And your solution?" Coulson wondered.

"Well, my solution, and this is just me again so let's keep that in mind." Naruto said and Coulson and Hunter nodded. "In this situation, I'd like to go with a saying from the youngest President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, speak softly and carry a big stick. Show your hand and talk but be ready for the worst to happen and have a backup plan. And in my case, it would involve hacking, finding out secrets, tricking this Gonzales guy to figure out what he wants, followed up by explosives for when things go wrong and a 90% chance of me fighting every single agent there. But again, this is just me."

"That simple huh?" Coulson pointed out.

"It can be when you have backup plans to your backup plans. I never go into a situation without at least ten backup plans for any kind of variable. In this case, Gonzales wants you so use that your advantage to get more information on him while you find Skye. In this case, I would recommend getting either a helicopter or one of those Quinjets I saw SHIELD used to have. Would make stealth and travel much easier." Naruto suggested.

"That's not a terrible plan." Hunter stated and Coulson began to formulate one in his head.

"Actually, it's not. I think I have an idea." Coulson replied.

The next day…

The next morning at the cabin, Naruto was working on a laptop that he had borrowed and it was currently tapped into all nearby satellites for his search on the teleporter. On the table around him were various scientific instruments he had used to make some stuff they need. Hunter was sleep on the couch and Coulson just walked back in when they heard the engine roar of a jet that flew ahead. The noise woke up Hunter.

"What was that?" Hunter asked, feeling a little groggy from getting woken up.

"Gonzales's SHIELD team is here." Coulson replied, closing the blinds, and filling his coffee cup before taking a sip.

"Really?" Naruto looked at his watch in amusement. "Huh. Would have thought they'd be here sooner. Oh well. Oh, Hunter your breakfast is in the pan by the way."

"Thanks, mate." Hunter rubbed his eyes and walked over to plate his omelet before he sat down to eat. Coulson watched Naruto work on his laptop and it was impressive. Naruto's brain work at super speed along with his hands so he was doing in minutes what would take a super computer hours.

"Is it always this easy for you?" Coulson wondered.

"Eh, every now and then I encounter and problem I can't solve right away. I'm actually still working on a zombie cure for a world I passed through. Don't worry, I decontaminated before I left. But it helps that my brains gets smarter so it shouldn't be much longer. And I've prepared everything you said you'd need." Naruto handed him various items he requested.

"I should put you on retainer." Coulson remarked, putting the items away in his pack.

"Thanks, but I prefer the private sector. I have my own science company on my earth. Sort of like Stark industries only minus the giant ego and long history." Naruto answered. "But we do good work for the planet and everyone and the money we make helps fund more research."

"I should have gone private. Better money in it then this." Hunter replied, sipping some coffee as he looked at his watch. "Your backup is on his way right?"

"Yeah, so we just have to wait. I think you have plenty of time for your breakfast." Coulson promised when they heard a loud crash at the front door which shook the wall and knocked off the picture frames. "Huh, they brought a battering ram."

"Interesting. They must really want you." Naruto said to Coulson.

"I guess I'm just special." Coulson replied as he sat down and the three just relax at the table with the continuous crashes against the reinforced front door kind of like a ticking clock.

An hour passed which gave Hunter plenty of time to eat his breakfast and for them to get everything they needed. Coulson and Hunter grabbed their bags and stood together in the living area as Naruto packed up the laptop and science equipment with the doors structural integrity minutes away from being compromised.

"Ok, so how are you gonna handle this?" Hunter wondered.

"Easy. They may have guns but I can outrun bullets. And don't worry, Coulson. I won't seriously hurt them." Naruto promised when a final crash busted the door down and a five man tactical squad of SHIELD agents came in with assault rifles. There they saw Coulson and Hunter standing together and an unknown third individual. Naruto just smiled at them. "Now that's just rude. Did you have to break down the door? That's gonna hurt this place's resale value."

"Let me see your hands." An agent ordered.

Naruto just raised up his right hand and began vibrating it to channel lightning which made the agents shoot at him. The next several moments happened in the blink of an eye for Coulson and Hunter but at Naruto's speed everyone was moving in super slow motion. He walked forward and grabbed the bullets in mid-air before punching the first guy in the helmet so the force of his punch would sent him to the floor. He then grabbed the assault rifle of the second guy and raised it up so it hit him in the face. Naruto plucked a few more bullets out of the air before tripping the third guy and then elbowing him in the back of the head. He slapped the fourth guy in the ear which knocked him over to the table and then threw out a punch to the face to the fifth guy and the force knocked him into the wall. (1)

A flicker of lightning and sound of gunshots later, the five agents fell to ground or crashed into the table and wall but all of them were knocked out. "Whoa, that is fast." Coulson remarked.

"That was fun." Naruto opened his hand and dropped all the bullets to the floor. He looked down at one of the knocked out agents and saw the helmet on his camera so he waved. "Hello, MTV."

"Let's go." Coulson said as he and Hunter walked out but not before they took their weapons.

"Right behind you." He helped pick up some weapons and followed them out as the three walked through the area to the quinjet the agents arrived in.

"So, you can fly a jet right?" Hunter asked Naruto.

"Well, I've designed my own version of a quinjet on my earth so if the basic set up is the same then I should know how to pilot it." Naruto answered.

"Coulson, what about you?" Hunter wondered.

"Well, I've watched May fly a few times. I can probably get us off the ground." Coulson replied.

"That's comforting." Hunter remarked.

"Relax, Hunter. If I can't fly it then Gideon can show me and if that makes you uncomfortable then I'm sure she can hack the auto-pilot and fly for us." Naruto suggested as they arrived at the quinjet which looked similar to the one he made on his earth. "How about that? It is similar."

"Hold it right there!" They heard as another quinjet decloaked and another SHIELD squad marched out with guns.

"Oh, retroreflective panels for a stealth mode. I'm definitely doing that when I get home." Naruto stated, giddy with excitement over the upgrade he was inspired to make.

"Less talking, more running." Hunter told him.

"Relax, I got…" Naruto vanished in the blink of an eye and knocked out the SHIELD agents, the pilots and powered down the extra quinjet in several seconds before returning to his original spot. "…it."

"Now you're just showing off." Coulson remarked.

"If you got it then flaunt it." Naruto replied, walking into the quinjet where he put the bags down on a seat and sat down in the pilot's chair. He looked over the set up and then had Gideon connect to the quinjet's systems and there were a lot of similarities between this version and the one he made on his earth. "Gideon's uploaded into the quinjet's systems so she can pilot us when we're ready."

They saw one of the SHIELD agents had regained consciousness and rushed over to the quinjet to arrest them when he was grabbed from behind and knocked out. It was a tall African American man wearing metal armor and the right side of his face had burn scars. "Is that your backup?" Hunter asked.

"Agent Hunter, Naruto meet Agent Mike Peterson." Coulson introduced them. "Thanks for coming on such short notice. I see you've taken well to the upgrades."

"No complaints here. Shall we get going?" Mike asked as he took the other pilot seat and began a digital download while Naruto powered up the quinjet as Gideon activated the automatic pilot.

"You could have mentioned that your backup was a lethal cyborg." Hunter said to Coulson.

"Truthfully, I just wanted to see the look on your face when he showed up. Priceless." Coulson stated.

"Glad I amuse you." Hunter replied.

"You know I can hear you." Mike said as Gideon took them up.

"Ok, Gideon's set on the autopilot and we'll be hitting a cruising altitude of 45,000 feet. What's this info you said you'd have for me?" Naruto asked Coulson.

"Agent Peterson has been doing some overseas work for me. He's been trailing a Hydra head scientist known as Lists. He intercepted a coded transmission from Lists mentioning his interest in powered people." Coulson replied.

"He's hunting them down and experimenting on them." Mike stated.

"I hate this guy." Naruto remarked.

"Whoever our teleporter is he's connected to Skye's father and whatever group of powered people he's involved with. Your search hasn't managed to isolate a main location but maybe Hydra's intel can do that for you. There's only one man who's connected to both sides of this equation. If we're gonna find Skye, we need to find him first." Coulson planned out.

"And who's that?" Hunter wondered.

"Our bad option. Grant Ward." Coulon answered.

"That is a bad option." Hunter remarked.

Several hours later…

The quinjet stopped off in Mexico for Coulson's plan to get to Ward and his Hydra connection. They were currently watching their targets via surveillance at a hotel room with some soccer playing on the TV in their motel room. Hunter was watching Naruto work on something for them when he heard a beep on Coulson's table. It was Fitz who managed to connect via video uplink.

"Hunter?!"

"How did you ring Coulson's tablet?" Hunter asked Fitz.

"Where—are you watching Mexican football? Where are you?"

"Uh, undisclosed secure location?" Hunter replied when Coulson walked over.

"Fitz? How did you open Fury's toolbox?"

"Don't worry. It's safe. I stole it first."

"You stole it? Fitz, you're amazing. Can we meet up?" Coulson asked him when they saw Fitz was in the bathroom and someone outside was knocking on the door.

"Uh, I'm being followed. They won't grab me. I think they're hoping I'll lead them to you first. The thing is, would it still be ok if I cam and hung out with you? Maybe you could show me how to shake a tail. Maybe you could start, like now?"

Hunter looked up at Coulson who nodded. "You in a bathroom? With one of those electric hand dryers?"

"Oh, yes!"

"You're gonna be ok, mate." Hunter promised.

San Francisco, California

Agent Fitz was currently walking down the sidewalk in San Francisco wearing a very nice suit, glasses and carrying a backpack. Two of Gonzales agents were following him on orders that Fitz would lead them to Coulson. Fitz continued his walk until it turned into a sprint and the two agents ran after him. Fitz ran as fast as he could until he arrived at a parking garage and raced up the stairs until he got to the top floor. The agent that was chasing him arrived at the top but Fitz was gone. In actuality, he had climbed into the cloaked quinjet. Fitz, Hunter, Coulson, and Naruto watched on the security cameras outside the quinjet as the agents looked around when one ran in their direction.

"That won't end well." Hunter remarked as the agent ran face first into the side of the quinjet.

"Oh, that had to hurt." Naruto joked.

"Get us in the air." Coulson ordered and Mike did so. The two agents on the ground could see the quinjet take off but there was nothing they could do.

"Mike?" Fitz was not expecting to see him.

"Hey, Fitz. God to see you again."

"New hardware. Hey, how did you—"

"Not now, Fitz." Coulson pulled him back and put in in a chair before strapping him in. "Fitz, meet Naruto Namikaze. Super speedster who's been helping us. Naruto meet Leopold Fitz. Probably just as smart as you are."

"Nice to meet you." Naruto shook his hand.

"Yeah, same." Fitz shook his hand before handing Coulson the toolbox who activated the holographic interface. "So, what's the plan?"

"We need to find Skye. Problem is, all we know is that she was taken by the same powered person who took Raina and Cal." Coulson told him.

"Do we have any leads?" Fitz asked.

"Yeah. I've been tracking our powered teleporter by the Quantum energy field he leaves behind but they're too spread out and sparse for me to get a clear location on where he originates from." Naruto activated his watch's holographic projector to show them the scans he's run and the places the energy signal has appeared and they're sort of all over the place. "My guess is that there is something masking the signal of where he teleports back to after he visits these places. I need more info and Coulson said that Hydra might have that."

"Hydra's new heads: Strucker and Lists. My sources say they're researching powered people. Apparently, they're even more obsessed than Whitehall." Coulson added.

"If I get can access to their network, I can back trace everything Hydra has. Not only get you a better look at their network but if Coulson is right and they're on the path of this teleporter then I can combine their research with mine and it will be able to help us find Skye." Naruto stated. "You guys get everything you could need on Hydra. We can take them down and find your friend."

"Two birds with one stone. How are you gonna get this information?" Fitz asked.

"Easy. Ward's gonna give it to us." Coulson answered.

Tijuana, Mexico

Mexico was the current hiding place for SHIELD traitor and former Hydra member Grant Ward and Kara or Agent 33 who was a brainwashed killer for the group before they both left and went off the grid. Kara was at a restaurant using a payphone to talk to her mother.

"Thanks for the picture. Really helped clear some things up. Wait mom, what men? When exactly did they call? Ok, if they call again, don't say a word. I've got to go—call when I can." She hung up and hurried out of the restaurant when Agent Coulson walked up to her, his gun pointed at her stomach.

"Agent 33. You're looking well." Coulson remarked. Kara turned around only to see Mike Peterson so she was trapped. "We need to borrow your phone."

She reluctantly handed it over and called the first number on it. "Hey, sweetie. Why don't you drop by? I've love to catch up."

Mike Peterson sat Kara down at a table to keep watch over her as they waited for Ward to arrive. "That mask on your face. Got any more of those lying around?"

"Afraid not." Kara replied.

"At least I have my winning personality." Mike remarked. Kara saw Ward walk in and got up only for Mike to stop her.

"They didn't hurt you, did they?" Ward asked as he walked over.

"No, I'm ok. You shouldn't have come." Kara said to him.

"Fact that this guy hasn't killed me yet means they need me." Ward pointed out. "Mike."

"Ward. Turn around." Mike ordered so Ward did. Mike used his cybernetic eye to check for weapons and found plenty. "You know what needs to happen."

Ward removed his two pistols, two knives, and a garrote wire and put them on the table.

"All of it." Mike ordered so Ward removed the small lock pick from his wrist. He then pointed to the left and Ward walked over to the table Coulson was sitting at.

"Ward."

"I'm flattered. Bringing the robot along just for a sit-down with me." Ward remarked.

"There's no need for false modesty. We both know you're that good but frankly this isn't about you. I'm after bigger fish—Strucker and Lists." Coulson told him.

"I can't help you. I'm not with Hydra anymore. Even then, I only knew them by reputation—never met either." Ward answered.

"Again, with the false modesty. We both know you're resourceful. Bet you know a guy who knows a guy." Coulson suggested.

"You know, last time I suggested we work together, you called me a deluded son of a bitch." Ward recounted.

"Oh, that's still all true but I'm giving you the chance to actually do something good to make up for all the bad. Get me inside Hydra." Coulson said but Ward wasn't having any of it. "Oh, well. Guess we go with option B."

"And what's that?" Ward asked when he felt a blast of wind by his side and then a painful jab in the neck. "Son of a bitch!"

"Hope that hurt." Naruto remarked as he injected a syringe into Ward's neck. "And what's gonna happen next if you don't answer Coulson's questions is gonna hurt even more."

"What the hell did you just do to me?" Ward asked Coulson.

"You know how Skye didn't think SHIELD had a truth serum? She was partially right…but now we do. Although, it's not really a truth serum so much as small solution of nanobots that are currently attaching to the prefrontal cortex of your brain." Coulson answered.

"It's the part of your brain that's responsible for all executive behavior like deciding to tell a lie or the truth. You see, you can build up a tolerance to drugs and things like that but you can't control what happens to your brain. Electrical impulses will stimulate the prefrontal cortex and make you tell the truth. If you lie…well, let's just say I did this with a demon and it looked like it hurt." Naruto explained as Ward looked at him with a death glare.

"Do you have a way for us to get close to Hydra?" Coulson asked Ward who struggled to keep it together and lie but it literally felt like his brain was on fire and couldn't.

"I know someone who can get to Lists." Ward answered as he grit through his teeth to try and stop but to no avail.

"Good because you're gonna tell us everything." Coulson said as he and Naruto fist bumped.

Several hours later…

Coulson, Fitz, Hunter, Mike, and Naruto were back on the quinjet and heading to location where they would meet with Dr. Lists. How did they set that up? All apart of the plan they put together.

"That was bloody brilliant. I had faith but I was still worried it was touch and go there." Hunter said as the five of them sat around the quinjet on their way to meet up with Dr. Lists. "So, we're sure we can trust the intel Ward got us from Bakshi?"

"Well, he wasn't lying. Lists is going to meet with Bakshi but we'll be there and take him down. A Hydra head gets taken down, I can get the intel to find the teleporter and it's a win-win." Naruto replied.

"Lists sent over his location at the runway. Isolated and heavily guarded so we'll have to land a little bit away to avoid detection but Naruto can get in there easily. He can take out the guards so that we can come in." Coulson added. "Once we have Lists, we can use him to get to Strucker and we'll find Skye."

"And best of all, Ward and Bakshi are back in captivity." Hunter added. After they got everything they needed from Ward and Bakshi, Coulson had Naruto drop them off at the US-Mexico border and they were taken back into custody. "Feels good, doesn't it Fitz?"

"It does. To be honest, sir I was thinking that we would have to work with Ward on this one." Fitz admitted to Coulson.

"That would have been a last ditch effort on my part but thankfully we didn't need to." Coulson replied.

"Don't thank me. Happy to help and taking down members of a Nazi death cult is always a good time." Naruto stated.

"So, I have to ask how did you get your powers?" Fitz wondered.

"Got hit by a dark matter infused lightning bolt after a Particle Accelerator explosion and put in a coma for nine months." Naruto answered.

"9 months? Geez, that couldn't have been easy." Hunter said.

"It wasn't but when I woke up I discovered my powers and then spent a year on my earth training and putting away bad guys before I ended up traveling through the multiverse."

"I still can't believe it and that multiverse is real. You're literally the walking scientific breakthrough of the century." Fitz stated.

"Well, I'm here so ask any and all questions you have." Naruto told him and that's exactly what Fitz did. They talked about everything Naruto has been through and his powers until they arrived and it was time to take down Lists.

Private runway for Echidna Capital Management

Echidna Capital Management happened to be a front company that Hydra employed for its various efforts and currently one of its planes was being used by Dr. Lists for travel and as a sort of temporary mobile base as he traveled the US. The plane was stopped at a runway for the meeting with Sunil Bakshi but that wasn't going to happen.

A speeding blur raced from the horizon and quickly raced up into the plane. The guards and Hydra agents didn't even have the chance to act or sound an alarm as they were all knocked out one by one. Even Dr. Lists was just sitting in his office on the plane when Naruto appeared behind him and sent a lightning bolt through his system. He stood in the middle of the plane and saw all the Hydra agents were knocked out and the situation was handled.

"Easy." Naruto pressed his watch to activate the communicator. "Coulson, they're all down and I've got my eyes on Lists. You're cleared to come in."

"Roger that. We're on our way." Coulson replied as Naruto walked over to one of the computers and synched his phone to its network.

"Fitz, get ready for a big file transfer. Hydra has a lot of information on this plane." Naruto told him.

"Roger that. Files are downloading now and I'm already running decryption algorithms on them."

Naruto checked Dr. Lists research and his and Coulson's hunch was right that they were tracking the teleporter. "Coulson, looks like we were right. Hydra is tracking the teleporter like I was and tracking the Quantum energy signature he left behind. They haven't had any success in identifying whoever it is but they're tracking him."

"Cross reference their data with what you have. Maybe it'll help you track this guy down." Coulson suggested so Naruto began doing that when he heard the quinjet roar close by.

Naruto was cross referencing Hydra's data with his own and they had logged the same teleporting sights as he did but it would seem that while they were tracking the teleporter they were also tracking people in that immediate vicinity. "Fitz, check on the files you have and see if there's anything recent in Dr. Lists filed on recent subjects?"

"Checking…" Fitz looked through the data until he found what Naruto asked for. "Got it. Ethan Johnston, 26 and listed as a potential enhanced. Died of cardiogenic shock in the 37th hour of experimentation."

"He was picked up on the outskirts of Prague right?"

"Uh, yeah. Says here they got him as he was traveling. Why?" Fitz wondered.

"The area Hydra captured him is in the same vicinity the teleporter showed up at." Naruto answered when he heard footsteps and saw Coulson and Mike walk in.

"Think there could be a connection?" Coulson wondered where Naruto's thought process was going.

"They have him listed as a potential enhanced and he was picked up in the same vicinity the teleporter had shown up in. And you said he's shown up before with this Raina person and Skye's father who are people of interest or enhanced and most recently Skye. So maybe whatever group this teleporter belongs to has him transport people like him around the country for ease of travel. It's what I would do." Naruto suggested.

"Agreed. Fitz, make sure you log everything and leave no stone unturned." Coulson ordered as he looked around and saw Dr. Lists. "We got Lists. Call the FBI and let them know where they can find him and his associates with all the evidence they need."

"Roger that." Fitz replied when his system and Gideon picked up a sudden Tachyon signature. "Sir, the teleporter's shown up again."

"In Milwaukee and this is the second time in the last few hours. Hang on…" Naruto tapped into nearby satellite feeds and then tapped into street camera footage to try and see what was going on. "I'm tapped into nearby camera footage so maybe we can see something. Here, I'm mirroring it on the big screen."

The cameras footage appeared on the screens inside the plane and Gideon was running a search on anything of note but there didn't seem to be anything extraordinary going on. So, she began analyzing every single person via facial recognition and see if she could pull anything out of the ordinary. That's when Coulson noticed someone.

"Camera 6. Stop and rewind two seconds." Coulson told him so Naruto did and it backed up enough so that Coulson could confirm what he saw. "It's Skye and she's with Cal."

"Her dad? What's he doing? Does he have her hostage?" Hunter wondered.

"It doesn't look like it. Play it forward." Coulson said and Naruto let the camera footage play with Gideon bringing up all relevant camera feeds that gave them an angle on Skye and her father.

"It just looks like she's on a walk. Maybe the teleporter dropped off her and her father?" Naruto suggested.

"Well, we found here and we have no idea if the teleporter is coming back so we don't have much time to waste. How fast can you get there?" Coulson wondered.

"Very fast." Naruto replied.

"All right, head there now and we'll be right behind you. Call me when you do and I'll talk her down but don't aggravate her father or make things worse. We don't know what's going on." Coulson told him.

"Got it." Naruto super sped out of the plane and to Wisconsin with Coulson and the others behind him.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Naruto slid to a stop outside an office building. Based on the footage Gideon was able to track, Skye and her father had gone in and hadn't come out so he walked in to find her. He followed Coulson's advice and decided play it calm and not do anything to make Skye or her father nervous. If the stories Coulson told about him are true then he didn't need to escalate things. He walked up two flights of stairs in a run down office building that needed some serious maintenance and passed an empty office when he saw a shadow come from the door.

He saw a person step into view and raise his hand up which began to spark with electricity. Seeing as how his hand was pointing right at him, Naruto had to defend himself so he grabbed the guy's wrist and swept his legs so he hit the floor face first. He got on the guy's back, pulled his wrist behind his back, and activated one of his repulsors which was aimed at the back of his head.

"Easy, Sparky. It's probably a good idea if you calm down." Naruto warned him.

"How the hell did you do that?" The man asked him. "What are you doing here?"

"Which one do you want me to answer first?" Naruto asked when he heard footsteps and saw Skye and her father walk.

"Lincoln!"

"Who are you?" Skye's father asked.

"Skye, stay back!" Lincoln warned her.

"Skye? Finally. Coulson's been looking for you. One second." Naruto tapped his watch and activated the communicator. "Coulson, you're on speaker! I found Skye."

"Skye! Skye are you there?!"

"Coulson? Is that you?" Skye called out.

"It's me. I'm glad you're all right and Naruto found you." Coulson said as Naruto gave Skye a mock salute. "Don't worry, he's one of the good guys. He's been helping me find you. Don't move. We're on our way."

"SHIELD's coming?" Skye asked.

"More of just Coulson, Hunter, Fitz and Mike Peterson." Naruto answered. "I don't know the whole story but apparently things got pretty complicated."

"Very complicated but we're coming and things are gonna be ok. I promise. Naruto will look out for you until we arrive. You can trust him." Coulson promised. "I'll explain once I get there."

"Roger that. We'll be waiting." Naruto tapped his watch and looked at Skye. "Sorry for the weird introduction. Naruto Namikaze, pleasure to meet you."

"You, too. Can you get off him?" Skye asked, referring to Lincoln who Naruto was still on top of.

"Oh, right sorry." Naruto got up and helped him back to his feet. "Sorry about that but you tried to attack me so I just acted in self-defense."

"It's fine." Lincoln rubbed his wrist as Skye walked over.

"Lincoln, what are you doing here?"

"Jiaying sent me to make sure everything was cool." Lincoln answered.

"Why wouldn't everything be cool?" Skye's father asked as he stabbed his scalpel into a filing cabinet. "What's going on here? Wait, a minute? You think that Daisy isn't safe here with me?"

"I didn't say that. Just calm down." Lincoln said to him.

"Don't patronize me. Who the hell do you think you are? I'm her father!"

"Cal, let me explain." Skye pleaded.

"No. Oh, what an idiot I've been. I see what's happening. You were gonna dump me here like yesterday's trash. You don't want to spend time with me. This isn't daddy's day out. This is goodbye." Cal muttered.

"It's not forever. It's—" "Skye, don't." Lincoln stopped her from getting too close.

"Her name is Daisy!" Cal grabbed Lincoln in anger before slamming him into a wall and then a filing cabinet. Skye and Naruto rushed over to make sure he was ok as Cal's anger began to boil over. "After everything I did for Jiaying, for our family! Years of searching, the pain, and the rejection!"

"Cal, I'm warning you." Lincoln's hands began to spark.

"Oh, you're warning me?" Cal said before he looked at Naruto. "And you…SHIELD's little pet dog! Do you think I'm gonna let you take my daughter too?!"

"Honestly, I've got no idea what's going on other then the fact that you could use a chill pill. Maybe a massage or a trip to a spa." Naruto pointed out. "But like Lincoln said, calm down before you hurt yourself."

"The only one I want to hurt is you!" Cal charged so Naruto just sidestepped his attack, threw him in the wall and vibrated his hand to deliver an electric shock to the back of the head which knocked him out.

"Like I said. A chill pill." Naruto muttered as he picked him up and sat him against the wall.

"Is he…"

"He's just unconscious. With how his behavior was going it was kind of necessary, don't you think?" Naruto pointed out and they nodded.

"Who are you? How did you do that?" Lincoln asked him.

"Are you an Inhuman like us?" Skye added.

"Inhuman? What kind of name is that? No. I'm a Metahuman and I'm not exactly from this earth." Naruto vibrated his hand at super speed to show them. "It's a long story so perhaps we could talk this out and I can figure out what the hell is going on?"

Several hours later…

SHIELD Agents Bobbi Morse and Alphonso Mack Mackenzie walked into the old office building together looking for any sign of Skye since they managed to track her when she made the phone call. "Place looks empty." Mack said when Bobbi noticed some scuff marks in the hall.

"Signs of a fight but has to have happened hours ago. Whoever was here cleared out." Bobbi theorized.

"Not exactly." They heard from an office so they walked in and saw Coulson sitting at a desk and playing with a hula girl bobble figure. Sitting next to him was Hunter who was drinking from a flask, Fitz who was playing cards with Skye and Mike Peterson who was leaning against the wall with Skye's father in handcuffs. "I figured you two would have been here hours ago."

"It's remarkable they could even find us with their heads up their assess." Hunter remarked as Coulson stood up.

"Take me to Gonzales. It's time he and I talk about who's really doing SHIELD's job because so far, it seems like I'm the only one." Coulson pointed out.

After the travel to back to the base, Coulson met with Gonzales in his office where the other high ranking members of his SHIELD faction had gathered which included Agent May. "So, I'm glad you make yourself comfortable and used SHIELD resources on an internal manhunt instead of actually doing our job."

"And that's what you were doing?" Agent Weaver asked him.

"It was. While you've been so focused on distrust and thinking the worst of me, I and the agents who believe in me have actually been going after the real bad guys. Hydra." Coulson answered.

"Not everyone who was helping you was an agent." Gonzales pointed out.

"Then that's where you and I differ, Agent Gonzales because I'm someone who is willing to trust an enhanced person with powers and give him the benefit of the doubt rather than assume the worse. He didn't have to help me at all. He doesn't even belong on this earth." Coulson pulled out his phone which Agent Weaver took and began looking through it and at the multiversal equation and data.

"Surely you can't be serious." Weaver pointed out.

"It's true. He's a hero who could have just left me alone but decided to help because he is a good person. Someone who trusted me and I trusted him. And with his help we captured Grant Ward, Sunil Bakshi, Dr. Lists, and dozens of other Hydra operatives and gained access to their entire network." Coulson then pulled out a flash drive and put it on the desk before taking out and activating the toolbox and handed it to Agent Gonzales. "Here you go. Unlocked and all yours. Go nuts. At least until Fury shows up and asks for it back." Coulson told him which earned genuine looks of shock from Gonzales. "Oops, spoiler alert."

Coulson's phone rang and he checked to see who it was. "Oh, hey." Coulson showed Gonzales it was Maria Hill further proving that Gonzales had no idea exactly what was going on and while he was playing checkers, Coulson was playing chess. And he was actually doing their job instead of focused on a witch hunt. "I have to take this."

Coulson left and entered a private room where he could video chat with Maria Hill in private.

"I bet Gonzales wasn't thrilled when you said he wasn't invited to this chat."

"Yeah, well I wasn't too happy when he blew a hole in my base and kicked me out. We all live with disappointment and right now, we have bigger problems."

"So, you found it?" Hill asked and Coulson brought up one of the files they got from when they captured Lists.

"I'm guessing Hydra doesn't know that Loki's scepter was the weapon that killed me, but I bet they know it can control minds." Coulson stated.

"And in their hands it's catastrophic. Please tell me you know where it is?" Hill asked.

"That's easy thanks to the very detailed files that Dr. Lists kept. Sokovia with Baron von Strucker. I sent over everything we have on Strucker's location." Coulson answered.

"Last thing. Theta protocol—is it ready?"

"It is. Time to bring in the Avengers but I think I know someone who can give them a hand. He's helped me more than enough." Coulson suggested.

"If he's as good as you say he is then extra help is always welcome." Hill replied. "Let's see how Impulse does with the Avengers."

Sokovia, Secret Hydra Base

The info that Coulson was able to get with Naruto's help gave them the info on where Baron von Strucker is and where the Chitauri scepter was which Hill fed to the Avengers. It gave them a new mission and after getting the info from Hill a new ally as well. The Hydra base was alerted when it picked up the Avengers Quinjet closing in which resulted in a fight to the castle Strucker was using for his operations. The Hydra army was armed with new plasma-based weapons and even flight packs curtesy of the stolen items from the Chitauri invasion but even with the advance weapons it did little to change how the battle was going. Poorly for Hydra.

An armored jeep drove through the snow, plowing into Hydra soldiers and it was being driven by Natasha Romanoff aka the Black Widow. Standing in the back was Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye who was using his bow and arrows to shoot down Hydra soldier after solider with precision. Natasha kept her eyes on the road but quickly threw out a punch to her left, hitting a Hydra soldier who used his flight pack to try and sneak up on her. She then kicked him away as the armored avenger, Tony Stark AKA Iron Man flew down and blasted some Hydra goons with his repulsor rays. Clint stabbed a Hydra soldier who tried to grab him from behind before kicking him back when a Hydra jeep drove up alongside them. The gunner aimed the plasma cannon at them only for Thor to drop down and throw him off. He threw his hammer Mjolnir and flew through the air where he handed on a watchtower and knocked off the three guards before grabbing a fourth guard who flew by and slamming him to the ground. He jumped off the watch tower and ripped off one of the metal legs which he used as a weapon and knocked some of the Hydra goons back when a motorcycle drove by and knocked some of them back. Riding said motorcycle was Steve Rogers AKA Captain America and he was dragging a Hydra soldier by the leg through the dirt before throwing him into a group. He threw his shield as he drove off a jump and it ricocheted around, hitting several Hydra goons before returning to him. He swerved around a corner as a Hydra tank came into view which is when Thor landed and knocked it into the air which is when Iron Man blasted it with his repulsor. The wreckage was then caught by Bruce Banner AKA the Hulk who kept smashing through the army Hydra sent after him. All heroes gathered together as they closed in on the hydra castle bit by bit.

Iron Man flew through the forest, blasting Hydra goons, bunkers, turret emplacements, and jeeps before dodging cannon fire from the castle. He closed in on the top building when he bounced off an energy shield. "SHIT!"

"Language. Jarvis, what's the view from upstairs?" Captain America asked.

"The Central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken."

"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it." Thor declared as he took down more Hydra goons. "At long last."

Black Widow tossed a grenade into a car before taking out a Hydra goon with a flying elbow and rolling to the ground where she grappled two more men to the ground and snapped their necks. "At long last is lasting a little long, boys." Romanoff remarked, shooting a Hydra gunner off of his turret.

Hawkeye hid behind a tree for cover before pulling out an explosive arrow and firing it at a nearby bunker which exploded. "Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise."

Iron Man flew by and blasted more Hydra goons before making his way back. "Wait a second. No one else is gonna deal with the fact that Cap just said, Language?"

"I know." Cap said, using his motorcycle to take out a jeep. "It just slipped out. Impulse how are we doing?"

A super speeding blur of white and crimson lightning raced through the forest faster then the eye could see and took out over a hundred Hydra men in a manner of seconds before he slid to a stop near a tree and blasted by throwing a bolt of lightning. Naruto was dressed up in his Impulse suit and using his repulsors to blast two flying Hydra goons out of the sky. "Perimeter is secure and Hydra is making a defiant last stand but that scepter is definitely here." Impulse took off running and began taking down more and more Hydra.

"I still can't believe this is a real thing and we've got an actual dimension traveler here with us." Natasha stated, seeing him run through the forest with speed and precision.

"And I can't believe he copied my repulsor tech even if it's a little amateur and could use some improvement." Tony remarked before deploying the Iron Legion to deal with any civilian casualties and keeping them from getting hurt.

Clint moved through the woods and hid behind a tree near a bunker before he fired an explosive arrow only to miss seeing a silver blur grab it in mid-air. Clint noticed the bunker didn't blow up so he turned to fire another arrow when he was knocked to the ground. He looked up to see a silver haired man walk by him, twirling the arrow between his fingers.

"You didn't see that coming?" The mystery enhanced then took off running in a blur as Clint tried to shoot him but he was long gone.

That momentary distraction was enough for the bunker to deploy a plasma cannon and fire a shot that graze Clint's side. The speeding blur kept moving through the forest and knocked into Cap who managed to land on his feet. "We have an Enhanced on the field." Cap stated.

"Clint's hit!" Romanoff rushed to protect him and provide some first aid on his wound. "Someone want to take care of that bunker?"

The Hulk just roared and barreled through it like it was nothing. "Thank you."

Impulse took down several more Hydra agents and saw the speeding blur heading over to Cap who was fighting some Hydra agents as he told Tony to hurry up and get inside the castle. He rushed over and ran alongside the blur to see a silver haired man running at super speed but not as fast as he was going. The silver blur saw him and tried to attack him as the two engaged in a little speedster race through the forest but Naruto was faster. He ducked under a punch and kneed the man in the gut before slamming him into a tree. The man pushed off and tried to punch and kick him but Naruto was too fast for him to touch him before he grabbed his arm and threw him to the ground.

He then heard a loud clang and saw Thor and Captain America do a team up attack which was enough distraction for the silver blur to escape. "The enhanced speedster is gone. I'll get Clint back to the Quinjet. Just get the scepter." Naruto raced over and took Clint back to the quinjet.

"And for gosh sake, watch your language!" Tony joked.

"That's not going away any time soon." Steve muttered.

After getting Clint to the quinjet and making sure he was stable, he helped Thor secure the perimeter and all the Hydra soldiers while Tony went inside the castle to get the scepter and Cap got Baron Strucker. He had a brief encounter with an enhanced woman but he got Strucker and Tony got the scepter so it was a win. Hill called in the UN to help with the clean up and securing of Hydra prisoners while the Avengers got on the quinjet back to New York. Naruto got a ride back with them and relaxed as he sipped on some water and ate a sandwich.

Clint was being looked after, the scepter was secure, Tony was flying the jet, and Dr. Banner was listening to some music. Naruto sat in his chair and happily munched on his sandwich when he saw Cap and Thor walk over. "Hey. Sandwich?" Naruto offered.

"No, I'm fine. Thanks again for helping." Cap told him. "I'm not sure where Hill managed to find you but we appreciate it. Going up against Hydra is no easy task but you handled yourself pretty well out there."

"Indeed. You have a great grasp of your skills with speed that would make many in Asgard jealous. How did you come by this dimension?" Thor asked Naruto.

"Just trying to find my way home. Multiversal travel isn't an exact science and it's a lot so I've been doing this for a while." He replied.

"How long have you been here on this earth?" Steve wondered.

"Almost a week. Helped out some other people including Hill which is probably why she asked me to come help out on this mission. She knew I could handle myself." Naruto answered, omitting the fact that he had helped Coulson since he was told that Coulson didn't want them to know he was alive. "Helping people and picking up some souvenirs before I try again to make my way home has kind of become routine now."

"Well, here's hoping you figure out how to get home soon. Maybe Tony could help you?" Steve suggested.

"I appreciate that." He replied.

"Thor, report on the Hulk." Romanoff called out.

"The Gates of hell are filled with the screams of his victims." Thor replied with a smile but that wasn't the right answer. Natasha gave him a look and Dr. Banner dropped his head into his hands. "But not the screams of the dead, of course. No, no wounded screams. Mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining, and tales of sprained deltoids, and gout."

"Smooth." Naruto joked and Steve chuckled.

"Hey, Banner?" Tony called out. "Dr. Cho is on her way in from Seoul. Is it ok if she sets up in your lab?"

"Uh, yeah, she knows her way around." Bruce replied.

"Thanks. Tell her to prep everything. Barton's gonna need the full treatment." Tony said to Jarvis.

"Very good, sir."

"Jarvis, take the wheel." Tony got out of the pilot's seat and walked over to Thor, Cap, and Naruto as they looked at the Chitauri scepter. "Feels good, yeah? I mean, you've been after this thing since SHIELD collapsed. Not that I haven't enjoyed our little raiding parties but…"

"No, but this…this brings it to a close." Thor stated.

"As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. I don't mean just weapons. Since is when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?" Steve wondered.

"I did some digging into Hydra's files while I've been here and apparently his partner Dr. Lists has been working on human experimentation for a while. I'm guessing that speedster was one of his successes." Naruto told them.

"How fast was he?" Thor asked.

"Fast but he's not a speedster like I am. The source of his powers and how he got them aren't the same as I how I got mine." Naruto answered.

"Banner and I will give the scepter a once over before it goes back to Asgard. Is that cool with you?" Tony asked and Thor nodded. "Just a few days till the farewell party. You're staying, right?"

"Yes, yes of course. A victory should be honored with revels." Thor said with pride.

"Yeah, who doesn't love revels? Captain?"

"Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and Hydra. So, yes, revels." Steve replied.

"All right. Kid, you're welcome to stay as well. Figured the least we could offer you for your help is a place to crash and a party to relax before you head home." Tony suggested. "And it'll give me a chance to see how smart Hill claims you are."

"Sounds like fun." Naruto smiled.

Avengers Tower, New York City

The Avengers quinjet arrived at Avenger's Tower which was a skyscraper with the Avenger's A logo on the side of the building. The Quinjet landed on the landing pad where Maria Hill and Dr. Cho were waiting. Dr. Cho and her medical tended to Clint who was taken to Dr. Banners lab for treatment. Thor walked out of the quinjet with the scepter and Naruto walked out with his pack to find someplace he could relax. Hill pat him on the shoulder before she spoke with Cap about the two enhanced in Sokovia. Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. One was a telekinetic/telepath and the other was a speedster.

Naruto walked around the several floors that were set aside for the Avengers and was impressed. It gave him plenty of ideas should he decide to get a building like this. He walked around and found the kitchen which is where he got some water before heading upstairs to see how Barton was doing. There he saw Dr. Cho's cellular stimulation machine working on healing his wound.

"Wow, that is impressive." Naruto said as he walked in and looked at the machine and what it was doing. "Cellular regeneration using nano-molecular lasers to revitalize tissue and replaced dead one with artificial kind. Incredible."

"And you are?" Dr. Cho asked.

"A helpful friend just passing through. Nice to meet you, Dr. Cho. Name's Naruto. This is very impressive." Naruto said to her.

"Thank you." She replied.

"Easy there, Naruto. You two can get a room later." Natasha joked as she looked at the machine slowly healing Clint's wound. "Are you sure he's gonna be ok. Pretending to need this guy really brings the team together."

"There's no possibility of deterioration. The nano-molecular functionality is instantaneous. His cells don't know they're bonding with simulacra." She assured her.

"She's creating tissue." Dr. Banner told them.

"If you brought him to my lab. The regeneration cradle could do this in 20 minutes."

"Oh, he's flat-lining. Call it. Time?" Tony joked as he arrived with drinks for everyone.

"No, no, no. I'm gonna live forever and I'm gonna be made of plastic." Clint stated.

"You'll be made of you, Mr. Barton. Your own girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference." Dr. Cho assured him.

"I don't have a girlfriend." Barton pointed out.

"That I can't fix. This is the next best thing, Tony. Your clunky metal suits are gonna be left in the dust."

"Well, that is exactly the plan. And Helen, I expect to see you at the party on Saturday." Tony told her.

"Unlike you, I don't have a lot of time for parties." She pointed out. "Will Thor be there?"

Tony and Bruce left soon after to do some work and Naruto continued his walk around the place before he relaxed on the couch and took a nap. He'd spend the next three days in Avenger's tower hanging out, relaxing, and using his time to make some things for his journey. He used one of the spare labs to make plenty of extra high-calorie energy speedster bars and with the shrink ray he could carry more should he ever run into a situation again where accessibility to food is limited. On his third day in Avengers Tower, Naruto was working with Gideon on all the data they had recovered from his multiversal travels to figure out the best way to get to his earth. Unfortunately, there was a problem with that.

"Damn, are you sure about that Gideon?" Naruto asked her, looking at all the calculations on the whiteboard.

"I'm afraid so. I have the data from when you encountered the energy field and I'm afraid even at your current speed there is nothing that can penetrate the tachyon energy field surrounding Earth-1." Gideon showed him the data and a visual model. She theorized based on all the data they had and she recorded that the reason he kept getting knocked around to other earths when he got close to Earth-1 had to do with how he and Ronnie ended up on Earth-2.

"Everything ok?" He heard and saw Steve and Natasha enter the lab.

"Yeah, just ran into a problem with my trip back home. Turns out it's a little more complicated than I initially theorized." Naruto said.

"How?" Natasha wondered. "And feel free to try and tone down the science."

"When I was knocked from my earth, it was because my friends and I were closing a singularity over our city. When we closed it, it knocked me and my friend onto another earth but that's not all it did. It created a Tachyon energy field around my home earth sort of like a dome that is preventing multiversal travel there." Naruto explained. "Gideon told me that I was actually close to getting home on one occasion but the energy field around my home earth's unique vibrational field knocked me away. It's essentially like someone put an extra door on your front house that you don't have the key to."

"Is there any way around it?" Steve asked.

"Gideon thinks that there are cracks in the dome. Portals essentially on my earth to other earths so I can get home using one of those. I still need to do some more research but at the moment, that's my plan." Naruto answered. "Tony hasn't been particularly helpful the past three days. He and Dr. Banner were working on something the entire time. Hope it helps you guys in the future."

"Maybe. Anyway, we just wanted to check up on you and see how you were doing. Figured with you being on a strange earth that it could seem isolating." Natasha said and Naruto chuckled a bit. "Did I say something funny?"

"No, it's just uh…with the red hair and how you said that…you kind of remind me of my mother. Fierce, powerful but with a lot of compassion." Naruto stated.

"Aww, I knew you had a crush on me." Natasha joked.

"And you think you're funny as well. I'm not laughing." Naruto replied and Steve chuckled at the small back and forth.

"Anyway, party's gonna start soon so if you want to get cleaned up and get ready." Steve told him.

"Thanks." Naruto put the marker down and went to get a shower and get changed into some clothes that Jarvis had provided.

The party was enjoyable but he didn't know anybody there and how these people ended up at a party at Avengers Tower is beyond him. It just screamed security threat but this wasn't his earth so, meh. But he ate some good food, drank a lot of Tony's alcohol, and enjoyed some casual conversation. Thor did bring him over so he could join Steve in a sampling of Asgardian alcohol. One of the elderly WW2 veterans at the party saw Thor take out a special flash and was intrigued.

"Oh, I've got to have some of that."

"Oh, no, no, no. See this…this was aged for 1,000 years in the barrels built from the wreck of Grunhel's fleet. It is not meant for mortal men." Thor warned him as he poured a few drops into glasses for Steve, Naruto, and himself.

"Neither was Omaha beach, blondie. Stop trying to scare us." Another Veteran said and Steve and Naruto just shrugged.

"All right." Thor poured a little in a few cups which ended up being a mistake as the regular humans that tried it ended up needing to be carried out of the building. Steve and Naruto were fine. Naruto felt a buzz for a few minutes before his metabolism healed it up.

The party began to slow down until it was just the Avengers along with Naruto, Rhodey, and Dr. Cho. They ordered Chinese takeout, sat around and just goofed off and somehow the topic of Thor's hammer came up in discussion with Clint claiming the worthiness of the hammer thing nothing more than a trick. Naruto stepped outside onto the balcony to get some air and relax as he looked back and saw the Avengers each trying to lift Thor's hammer but none of them could. Naruto was about to walk in and try for himself when Gideon alerted him.

"Naruto, I've detected a foreign AI system in Avenger's Tower attempting to gain access." Gideon informed him.

"What?" Naruto rushed back in and his sudden arrival was noticed.

"Hey, kid you're turn." Tony told him.

"Guys, I think there's a problem." Naruto said when a loud high-pitched ringing ran through the building.

"Worthy…" they heard as a disheveled and broken Iron Legion armor walked over to them. "No. How could you be worthy? You're all killers. I'm sorry, I was asleep. Or I was a dream. There was this terrible noise. And I was tangled in…strings. I have to kill the other guy. He was a good guy."

"You killed someone?" Steve asked.

"Wouldn't have been my first call. But, down in the real world, we're faced with ugly choices."

"Who sent you?" Thor asked as the robot played back a voice recording of Tony.

"I see a suit of armor around the world."

"Ultron." Dr. Banner stated.

"In the flesh. Or no, not yet. Not this chrysalis. But I'm ready. I'm on a mission."

"What mission?" Romanoff asked.

"Peace in our time." Ultron declared and three Iron Legion suits flew out of the wall towards them but they never got a chance to attack. Naruto sped forward and vibrated his fist before smashing each and every single one of the iron suits into pieces in the blink of an eye. He saw one of the Iron Legion suits grab the Scepter up on the second floor so he raced up the stairs and then vibrated through the iron suit, causing it to explode into pieces. Everyone blinked and saw a whoosh of lightning before all the iron suits were destroyed and Naruto appeared on the second floor.

"That was dramatic." They heard from the Iron Legion helmet that was still functioning but barely. "So, you have someone new to help you? Interesting. But it doesn't matter. Like the rest of you he has the same problem. Humanity can't be saved if it's not allowed to evolve. There is only one path to peace. The Avenger's extinction."

Naruto then super sped forward and stabbed the Ultron infected robot with an arrow. It was strange as he could have just stepped on its head but instead he stabbed it with an arrow and there was a reason for that. It wasn't a regular arrow but a special USB arrow from Hawkeye's armory that he had uploaded something onto.

"Gideon, activate technovore virus and kill Ultron." Naruto ordered.

"Already commencing. Sorry, Ultron but it would appear that you are no longer needed here." Gideon said as she began to overpower his operating system. While Ultron may have been born from an artificial intelligence crafted from an alien scepter jewel, Gideon was a time-tested perfected AI with years of experience and knew exactly how to dismantle Ultron before it gained too much awareness and tried to escape.

"No…No…NO! This is wrong! You can't do this! I can't—Er…egh…I'…I…had string…but now…I'm…" Ultron's panicked cries garbled into feedback before he was silenced.

"Upload complete and Ultron is terminated. I'll monitor and analyze all systems to make sure that he has indeed been erased." Gideon replied.

"Phew…that could have gone bad." Naruto stated.

"What just happened?" Clint asked and everyone went to the lab to check on things. Thor took the Chitauri scepter and placed it in a case which he kept close for safe keeping as Dr. Banner and Natasha checked their database to assess the damage Ultron did.

"A lot of our files are gone or erased but there doesn't seem to be any sign of Ultron left in the Tower's database." Dr. Banner stated. "Things could have gotten a lot worse if Ultron got free."

"Are we sure that he really is gone?" Steve wondered.

"Gideon's doing a thorough search of the internet for Ultron's code. If she finds something she'll let us know." Naruto checked his phone to monitor Gideon's progress. That's when he saw something that Gideon found. "Huh, remember how Ultron said he killed someone?"

"Yeah, but there wasn't anyone else in the building." Maria Hill pointed out.

"True, no living person was here but there was someone and Gideon just brought him back." Naruto pressed a button on his phone and Jarvis's orange holographic AI core appeared in the room.

"Hello, everyone." Jarvis greeted them.

"Jarvis, buddy. I thought you were dead." Tony said when a white holographic AI core appeared next to Jarvis's only this one was far more complex.

"He wasn't dead. Merely scattered his programing after Ultron attempted to erase him. I found his various components and put him back together." Gideon explained.

"Everyone, say hi to Gideon. My personal artificial intelligence and the person we owe everything to tonight or else things could have gotten worse." Naruto introduced her.

"Hello, everyone. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"So, one AI saved us from a homicidal AI. Good to know." Rhodey commented.

"How was your program able to defeat Ultron so easily?" Thor wondered.

"Well, it helps that I've had Gideon plugged into Avengers Tower since I've been on this earth. Whatever Tony and Bruce did to make Ultron was unique and he's powerful but Gideon is from the future and has been around a lot longer and been through tougher. I knew I just had to get her to slow Ultron down before he could leave and escape into the internet and she could wipe him out." Naruto explained as he looked at Tony. "Let that be a lesson to not screw with alien technology to create an artificial intelligence."

"Wait, I don't get is if Tony made Ultron then why did it want to kill us?" Dr. Choe asked.

"My guess is it has to do with how Ultron was created." Naruto suggested.

"He shouldn't have been made in the first place. At least, this is the first we're hearing about." Steve said and Tony began to chuckle.

"Is it? Is this so terrible. It's not, is it. It's actually kind of funny."

"This could have been avoided if you didn't mettle with things you don't understand." Thor told Tony who just went up to him.

"No, it is funny. It's a hoot that you don't understand why we need this."

"Tony, maybe this might not be the time." Bruce pleaded.

"Really? That's it? You just roll over and show your belly every time somebody snarls?" Tony asked him.

"Only when I created a murder bot."

"We didn't. We weren't even close. We were close to an interface."

"Well you did something right and you did it right here. The Avengers were supposed to be different then SHIELD." Steve reminded him.

"Does anyone here remember the time I flew a nuke into a wormhole? Saved New York? Remember that? A hostile alien army cam marching through and we're standing 300 feet below it." Tony reminded them. "We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the live long day but that, right up there…that's the end game. How were you guys planning on defeating that?"

"Together." Steve said.

"We'll lose." Tony flat out told him.

"Then we'll do that together too." Steve stated.

"Tony, Steve has a point." Naruto told him.

"I'm sorry, since when you did you get a vote around here Mr. World traveler?" Tony asked him.

"Since I'm the one who saved this planet from reaping the horrors of your arrogance and idiocy in trying to create an artificial intelligence from the programming of an alien scepter that mind controls people." Naruto pointed out. "Tony, you may be smarter than me in certain areas of science at the moment but I'm not an idiot or a child. What you did was reckless and if you would pull your head out of your ass then you would be able to see that."

"Oh, nice." Clint whispered to Natasha.

"Yeah, I like him." Natasha whispered back.

"It's your work with the scepter that was your problem. Gideon's AI interface is based on a neuromorphic matrix of a sane, smart person and carefully developed over time with time being the keyword here. Your application of the Scepter's programming into your program was like birthing an AI in the middle of its teenage years with access to the internet. It couldn't make heads or tails of what was going on and went insane without proper guidance." Naruto told him off.

"That's what happened?" Dr. Banner asked.

"Yeah. Ultron had its prime directives but the programming from the scepter essentially jumped him into an advanced thought process that was trying to reconcile it's own existence with the overload of information Avenger's Tower and the internet. It was such an overload of information at once and with the internet, mostly negative to the point where it twisted the Ultron directive into thinking that peace was only possibly without the Avengers and likely humanity's extinction." Naruto explained.

"An AI that had an existential crisis? Now I've heard everything." Maria Hill remarked.

"I get that you wanted to do good things Tony but the road to hell was paved with such intentions. Maybe you should think should I before could I?" Naruto suggested as Gideon's AI hologram disappeared. "Because I won't be here next to stop it. Thanks for the party but I think this is a good point for me to leave. Try not to get yourselves killed."

"Naruto, wait—" Steve couldn't finish as Naruto just super sped away, grabbed his things and ran out of Avengers Towers and through the streets of Manhattan before opening up a breach into the Multiverse. Suffice to say that his trip to this world left a bad taste in his mouth and likely wouldn't come back. Unfortunately, the world he was going to next would make this one seems wholesome.

Just as the breech closed, an astral figure appeared in the sky above New York with a noticeably large cranium. His eyes were white and seemed to be observing the events that happened below.

"And that is how one accident in the multiverse sends a champion from one world to the far reaches of existence. His actions, while seemingly benevolent are not without consequence for you see reality and time are cause an effect. In aiding the Avengers in defeated Ultron before he could escape, he prevents the rise of one of the Earth's deadliest villains."

Scenes began to play out that showed Ultron escaping with the scepter, building himself a new body with Vibranium he stole from Klaue and his new allies in the Maximoff Twins who set Hulk on a rampage in Johannesburg. All leading up to Ultron's final plan of turning the city of Sokovia into a Vibranium meteor to wipe out humanity.

"But in the process of Ultron's rise came with them two of Earth's greatest heroes."

Scenes played out that showed Ultron using the mind stone in the scepter to great a new body for himself before Wanda and Pietro left Ultron after realizing what he was going to do. The Avengers steal the body and Tony puts Jarvis in thus creating Vision. Wanda and Pietro then help fight against Ultron at the battle of Sokovia with Pietro sacrificing himself and Wanda killing Ultron Prime by ripping out its core with her powers. Both she and Vision would later join the Avengers and play crucial roles when the Sokovia accords are ratified and Thanos arrived on earth

"With Ultron defeated so early, one hero is never made and another goes down the wrong path."

Tony continued working with Jarvis instead of using Friday and Thor took the scepter to Asgard for safe keeping while Wanda and Pietro joined an extremist group and began committing terrorist attacks against the Avengers.

"One change from a traveler of the multiverse and I watch. I could change and make it so that the traveler never showed up or returns to his world now but that is not my path. I watch and observe, never interfere especially with this individual. For Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze of Earth-1 has a journey to continue and every chapter along his path shall change him. And the Universe…along with all of existence will need him at his best for what's to come."

The Watcher observed a red wave of anti-matter and the Anti-Monitor beginning his plan to wipe out all of an existence and Naruto had a role to play.

"He may not see it but he has an important role to play." The Watcher stated.

As Naruto was traveling through the multiverse he remembered something.

"Oh, dammit! I forgot to go to Wakanda!"

1). Imagine the Flash slow motion scene with the Nazis in Justice Society: World War 2. He's moving at super speed to handle the five guys with ease.

I hoped you guys part 6 of the Multiverse. For those wondering where's the Boys, don't worry that's next. I was originally going to do MCU and Boys in the same chapter but then realized I'd have to cut some stuff to make them fit into one chapter which would be too long so this chapter has the MCU and the next chapter will have the Boys. We got Jessica Jones, some Agents of SHIELD and Avengers: Age of Ultron here but changed since Naruto's here.

Also, I know some of you will be disappointed at the turn this chapter made at the end with how things changed for Age of Ultron but as I thought out this story in my head it wouldn't have happened the same as it did in the MCU. For one thing, Naruto being the genius he is and Gideon being an incredible AI would have detected Ultron coming. Sure, he made from the programming of the mind stone along with parts of Jarvis and elements of Tony and Bruce but during the party scene he's still fairly young in his life cycle. It's not untill later when he uploads himself into internet and begins his plans that he gets smarter and starts to evolve. Realistically I knew Naruto and Gideon would able to stop Ultron if they got to him soon enough and I didn't want to just write Naruto going through the Age of Ultron movie when it made no sense and he could have stopped it sooner. Sorry for those who wanted to see more but it's how I feel.

Next chapter, Naruto's been to a world that has heroes like him and now he arrives at an earth where the heroes are more like celebrities. They need a serious spanking. Until next time.
