Ten year old Midoriya Izuku honestly wished he could stay in his bed and never get up, the boy loved his bed more than life itself sometimes. He would marry his bed if the law allowed it and damn anyone who called their union unholy.

"Knock Knock!!" the broccoli haired colored boy sighed at the interruption of his sleep, "Izu, baby it's time to get up or you'll be late for the field trip at that new science center." his mother; Midoriya Inko, a slightly plump woman with matching green eyes and hair, told the boy through the door.

"Okay Kaa-Chan." he replied to the woman as he rolled out of bed looking towards a poster of his all time favorite Hero; All Might-- a broad man with literal muscles on his muscles and a bright smile that could blind any mortal man.

Kami how he wished he could smile as brightly as the blonde number one Hero. How he wished he had a fraction of his might so he could save people, so he could fit in...if only a little.

In a world filled with superhumans Izuku was extraordinary because he was absolutely ordinary.

The greenette was surrounded by people with Quirks; humans with a special gene called the Quirk factor allowing them to wield literal superpowers.

It's been almost three hundred years since the first person developed a Quirk and since then eighty percent of the world evolved to be something special-- except him.

...but despite everything; despite the constant bullying, pity or disgusted looks the greenette still wanted to be a Professional Hero.

but unlike those old comic books he couldn't just workout constantly and gain above average human strength or pick up a weapon and practice with it until he became a master at it. First off he already tried working out and he put himself into the hospital for a few days from not having enough nutrients to keep up with all his work.

After that his mother kept a closer eye on him making sure he didn't hurt himself and stopped him from working out too hard.

Izuku also tried learning martial arts. First he tried going to a few different dojos but he always got turned away because of his lack of Quirk; something about not wanting him to get hurt or afraid he wouldn't be able to keep up with everyone else.

But the looks in their eyes, Izuku knew they didn't care about his safety, they were just disgusted by his Quirklessness.

So Izuku watched videos of a few martial arts styles and copied several moves from Heros but after practicing a week he broke his wrist punching a tree.

So Izuku focused on what he was good at and hoped to Kami above it would be enough for him to get into a Hero school, hopefully the best hero school; U.A! The highschool where All Might, Endeavor and Best Jeanist went.

But with that pesky no Quirkless rule for the Hero program he would have to go to a less strict Hero Academy.

Izuku knew he would never be physically fit enough to stand up to Villains so the green haired boy picked up the habit of analyzing Hero's-- focusing heavily on their Quirks pros and cons along with their fighting styles and support gear and ways to improve all three of them or how to tear them apart.

Because of that Izuku also found himself almost equally interested in engineering and came up with so many ideas that it made his head spin sometimes.

While he had six and a half notebooks for all his analysis on Heros, he had two notebooks filled with theoretical inventions he could make when he became a professional Hero that could help him with his career.

Of course they were a little basic and whenever he tried to go over his Math he would come up with different numbers but he was still only ten years old and in the fourth grade; he had years to study to one day become a real inventor.

It was also his backup plan if couldn't fulfill his lifelong dream. Inventing gadgets for professional Heros didn't sound so bad; he could be the next David Shield!

But Izuku didn't want to be the next David Shield.

Izuku wanted to be like All Might and save people with a fearless smile. He wanted people to feel safe in his presence.

The emerald eyed boy trudged the halls of his elementary school with weak purpose ignoring the other students who purposely bumped into him.

As Izuku entered his classroom, he went straight to his desk keeping his eyes on the floor wishing he could just disappear or that his classmates would.

Once upon a time Izuku would have tried to get to know them, to talk to them but well that time has long since passed and he was pretty sure they would just insult him or something.

"Hello students!!" a brunette woman entered the classroom with a small smile that didn't seem to reach her eyes at all. "Who's ready to vist I-Center; the new science branch of I-Island that is headed by David Shield himself!!" she exclaimed with false enthusiasm.

Not a single student raised their hand or cheered alongside her which she could understand.

Izuku stood behind his class along with his teacher who was a healthy distance away from the greenette eyeing him with no small amount of disgust, which he tried to pretend didn't hurt him. They all waited for several minutes to be let in the circular, eggshell white building that reached fifthteen stories high.

After a few minutes a man with dark brown messy hair with a goatee and ocean blue eyes which were hidden behind a pair of black glasses came out of the building wearing a small smile.

He wore a white dress shirt which was hidden behind a white lab coat, with black slacks with matching raven colored shoes. "Hello children, it is an honor to meet you." He waved slightly at them. "As you may or may not know my name is David Shield; you may call me Dr.Shield, Dr. S, or even by my first name David if you want to." he explained to the small class of thirty who looked bored out of their minds.

"Today we will be exploring the newly opened Japan branch of I-Island; I-Center! Where we explore and discover all aspects of science and technology!" He exclaimed and Izuku smiled excitedly.

"And now for the final phase of our tour!" David told the class. "Our Quirk research!" Several eyes lit up at his words. "Who here can describe Quirks and their types?" Izuku raised his hand and jumped up and down several times causing his classmates to laugh at the boy.

"Put your hand down stupid Deku! No one wants to hear your useless explanations!" an ash blonde teen with an explosive hairstyle and almost glowing red eyes yelled at the green haired boy.

Izuku whimpered slightly at the burning glare and put his hand down causing his classmates and teacher to chuckle at the boy. David himself frowned at the group and cleared his throat bringing the attention back to him.

"I would like to hear your explanation, young man." The scientists told the boy who immediately brightened up but before he could open his mouth the blonde who insulted the boy earlier beat him to it.

"Trust me teach, this fucking nerd will go on and on if given half the chance! it's better to just ignore him." He told David who slightly scowled at the interrupting boy. "Everybody else does."

The head scientist pressed his glasses back up his face and cleared his throat, "First of all young man I don't appreciate that kind of language; Use it again and you will be escorted out." The blonde scowled harshly at the grown up, "Second I decide when and who speaks not you, so kindly be quiet unless called upon and now..." he looked at the green haired boy who was stationed at the back of the glass who looked at him in awe which put a bad taste in his mouth for some reason. "Tell me everything you know about Quirks!" David exclaimed and the greenette began explaining, ignoring the disgusted looks being thrown at him.

"Quirks originated somewhere between two hundred and three hundred years ago-- The first official Quirk user was a baby born in Qing Qing City, China and for a short period of time was considered a holy figure; each religion thought he was someone who descended from their versions of Heaven, until another Quirk user was born and another and another." David nodded along with a bright smile and his face.

"Quirks originate from a special gene called 'The Quirk Factor' The Quirk Factor affects the entire genome granting it's users a special ability and most of the time a Quirk user can be identified with a simple X-ray to the foot to show a missing pinky toe joint-- this suggest a chromosomal linkage between the two." David's eyes seemed to brighten as the boy continued while his classmates rolled their eyes and pretended to barf.

"Most Quirk users activate their abilities by the time they are four but it can happen earlier or later; the earliest a Quirk can manifest is at birth and the latest recorded Quirk manifestation is at thirty four years old. This anomaly usually happens because of the phenomenon known as limiters. This is when a Quirk can only be unlocked under incredibly specific circumstances and until those circumstances happen they are basically Quirkless." Izuku ignored the laughing and curel smirks surrounding him.

"Research suggests that these late-bloomers usually have what is now being called "Super-Quirks" in which their abilities are stronger and overall more powerful then normal Quirks which naturally appear at the age of four." David nodded along with the kid.

"Quirks fall into three categories; Emitter which can produce or alter, Transformation that causes the user to temporarily alter themselves, and finally Mutation, which is when parts of the users physicality permanently changes." Izuku took a deep breath causing many of the students to laugh. "Most Quirks are passed down by our parents and are usually a variation of one of them, a combination of the two, or something completely and utterly new."

"That's..ha.." David laughed slightly causing the greenette to look down for a moment, "Is amazing!" The class looked surprised at the man. "I don't think I ever met someone your age who knows Quirks so well. There is almost nothing I can say that can add to the knowledge you provided for us! Good job!" Izuku grinned widely at the man and the blonde from before scowled at his happy expression.

"Whatever! He only knows all that stuff is because it's something he can never fucking have!" The ash blonde student scoffed at the scientist who looked towards him in confusion until his eyes widened in realization, "He's just a useless, Quirkless Deku who dreams and fantasizes about things he can never even hope to have!" He cruelly laughed at the boy who looked down as the class joined in.

"It's fucking pathetic!!" The blonde spat at the boy who flinched at the tone and took a step back. "Pieces of trash like you don't deserve to breathe our air! You should just stay in the back and cower and let actually people talk!!" Izuku felt tears gather at the corner of his eyes.

"What's your name, young man?" David asked the ash blonde student who looked at the scientist with a scowl.

"Bakugou Katsuki; what's It to you?!" he exclaimed and the head scientist just scowled.

"What's it to me?" David asked, "Nothing much except your banned for I-Center and I-Island and I will make sure that if you ever become a Hero you will receive zero support from us." He simply told the boy in silent anger, surpassing the group.

"Guards!!" two white rectangular robots came out of the ceiling and floated next to David. "Escort the boy to his school bus and make sure he stays there." The two robots flew towards the scowling boy.

"Fuck! Whatever asshole, I don't care!!" He yelled to the man, Katsuki turned his head towards the greenette. "And the next time I see you I'm going to cave in your fucking face!!" Izuku flinched harshly and backed away from the boy.

"Bye..Kacchan." Izuku muttered.

"Shield-San is this really necessary?" The teacher asked the man who blankly stared at her. "He...he was just playing around." disgust briefly appeared on his face before it was quickly wiped off.

"Yes it was. Now let's continue onto the tour." David told the woman and began walking down the hall. "Who here knows that humans aren't the only things that possess Quirks?" Izuku immediately raised his hand, getting a smile from David and eye rolls from everyone else.

"I had a feeling you would know young man-- Animals also have the capability to have the Quirk Factor but it's extraordinary rare. Fun fact U.A's principle is actually an animal with a intelligence Quirk." Most of the class seemed awed at the discover. "We dedicate a part of our Quirk research to these animals to see if we can advance their abilities and or contain them." He walked over to a panel and typed in a code and looked into a round camera that scanned his eye. /Hello Doctor Shield./ a computer voice welcomed him and opened a door disguise as a white wall.

As he and the class walked in they saw several dozen animals held within cubies with clear walls. "Every single one of these animals has a Quirk, some more dangerous than others." The brunette pointed to the lion, "This lion has the ability to teleport several meters in any direction and.." he pointed to a ferret. "This albino ferret can float thirty feet in the air for around ten seconds." The brunette scientist continued explaining all their Quirks.

After several minutes of going through the room the class stopped at the last exhibit, "This here is a Arachnid grouped within the spider family.'' He introduced the larger than average arachnid which was completely green while it's eight eyes were bright ruby red. "We've run numerous tests on it but we still don't know what Quirk it could have." he told the group who began to look bored again at the revelation. "We know it has one but it seems to be completely invisible." Izuku looked at the spider in awe while the rest of the class seemed to turn away and look at the more interesting animals.

Izuku felt a connection to the spider... like it was an old friend. "Do you want to hold it?" David asked the greenette who looked at the man in surprise.

"Wh..wha...what?" Izuku slightly stuttered in surprise.

"I asked if you want to hold it, it's venom is harmless to humans and it's incredibly friendly! My own daughter has held this little creature and all it's done is cuddle in her hands." he slightly chuckled as he looked at the nervous boy.

Izuku looked at the spider again and Izuku could swear all eight of its eyes were centered on him. "Yeah." Izuku answered with a slight curve of his lips.

"Great!" The scientist exclaimed. "Release subject ZZZ-1011." David commanded to the air and the clear cubie opened up and the man laid his hand near the arachnid and it immediately climbed onto him.

He slowly brought over to Izuku who cupped his hands under David's and the spider slowly climbed onto him. "What's her name?" Izuku asked and the scientist queried an eyebrow.

"How did you know it was a 'her'?" David asked and Izuku shrugged, not really paying attention to him as he and the spider continued to look at each other. The man shook his head in slight amusement, "My daughter actually named her, it's Neith." Izuku grinned at the creature.

"Hey Neith, it's nice to meet you." he silently greeted the green spider and rubbed its face against his palm.

"She really likes you." David observed with a light smile. "You know we can't identify what species she is, she looks like a wolf-spider but there's several characteristics that point to a few other species."

Izuku looked away from the animal and payed attention to the spider but as he did, Neith did something unexpected, "AGHH!!" Izuku screamed, drawing the attention of the whole class as he dropped the spider and held his injured hand to his chest.

Neith seemed to immediately curl into herself and die while the poor boy cried his eyes out in pain. "Why does it hurt so much?!" Izuku screamed as his head hit the cold floor bringing a slight relief to his hot skin.

The greenette soon felt bile raise through his throat and his breakfast soon covered the floor. "EWW!!" several of his classmates cringed.

"Don't worry Midoriya-Kun, I've called an ambulance!" The brown haired scientist tried comforting the boy, whose vision began to double as blood rained down his eyes. After several moments of agony he passed out leaving a panic class and scientist.

Izuku's eyelids shot open. The greenette didn't know how long he'd been asleep but he...he felt amazing! "Izu!!" Izuku's head snapped towards the familiar voice and he felt puggy arms wrap around him in a tight hug.

"Oh, I was so worried!! Even though the doctor said you were fine… I… I… but you're okay!!" The green haired boy felt tears land on his... hospital gown?

After a moment of confusion he remembered what had happened at I-Center and what brought him here in the first place.

"Inko-San i brought you an ice coffee." David Shield entered the room wearing a normal blue dress shirt and black pants, carrying two cups of coffee.

"Mr...Shield?" Izuku questioned with a dry voice that caused a slight coughing fit.

"Midoriya-Kun! It's nice to see you up." The man greeted the boy with a warm smile that turned guilty. "I'm 'so' sorry for what happened and don't worry about any hospital bills-- I-Center will take care of all your expenses." Izuku immediately shook his head.

"Mr.Shield this isn't your fau..." Inko laid a hand on Izuku's shoulder.

"I already tried." she told her son with an awkward smile, "He wouldn't take no for an answer and after seeing your hospital bill we really can't take no for an answer." Izuku's eyes widened in panic which both adults saw.

"Like I said Midoriya-Kun, I-Center will cover the costs." Izuku sighed and nodded his head in understanding.

"What happened anyway? Wasn't Neith's venom supposed to be harmless?" David winced which the boy immediately caught and raised a concerned eyebrow at.

"Well her venom...wasn't poisonous to humans..." the man coughed looking away from the boy for a moment, "but it turns out that her Quirk when activated made her venom radioactive." Izuku's eyes widened in horror and after a moment, promptly passed out.

"Izuku!!" Inko cried out towards her son.

A middle aged balding man with a full blonde beard, twin light brown ram horns coming out of his forehead and a signature doctor's coat came in, "Hello Midoriya-San." He greeted the green haired woman, "Dr. Shield." he turned to the scientist and gave a slight nod in acknowledgement.

"And Izuku-Kun." he smiled at the young boy who waved in awkwardness, "It's good to see you up. You gave us quite the scare but from your new test results it seems that you'll be able to go home tomorrow." three- fourths of the room sighed in relief.

Izuku was confused why his new test results said that his old one's didn't, "Can I ask… what did my old test results say?" Izuku asked with hestaintion and the man gazed at his mother who looked unsure for a moment but nodded.

"Well two days ago you came in and exhibited signs of extreme radiation poisoning. We immediately put you on several medications to control the symptoms and slow down the progression of the poisoning but after several of your tests came back it was deemed that you radiation levels had already passed what should have been possible to survive." Izuku swallowed the bile that was in his throat and seemingly rubbed his arm in disbelief.

"Frankly it was a miracle that you didn't immediately pass away after that spider bit you. At first we thought it had something to do with your Quirk." Izuku's eyes narrowed in confusion, "Until Midoriya-San came and identified you, clearing up the misunderstanding. But then after you were still... alive after several hours passed we redid the tests and your radiation levels were going down. Still lethal but a lot less lethal than before." Izuku nodded at the doctor with understanding.

"It kept decreasing for the next two days and now it can barely be detected in your blood. You'll never be able to participate in blood drives but that's about as far as the consequences for this incident will go." Izuku nodded again absent-mindedly looking around the room.

"Thank you." The doctor nodded and left the group of three.

"So how are you feeling?" Inko asked her son who grinned, surprising her and David.

The greenette took a deep breath, "I feel good."

Izuku did feel good when he woke up, he felt great. Everything just felt amazing and it didn't take long to figure out why.

When the doctor came in and Izuku truly began to focus he realized that his vision was better than ever. He could see colors that he didn't even recognize and saw small skin flakes coming off all the adults' faces.

He could hear several conversations happening throughout the hospital and felt small vibrations travel through the bed he was laying on.

Izuku's skin also became extremely sensitive to an almost painful degree but he could also feel the slightest change of the aircurrent. It was weird but exhilarating in a way.

Izuku's canines on his upper mouth had grown and sharpened and as his tongue ran over them a small amount of liquid dropped on it, numbing it for a minute.

Somehow, he had gained a Quirk and of course Izuku immediately connected the dots between the spider bite and his emerging powers. "You've been quiet for a while, Izuku , are you okay?" Inko asked her boy with clear concern.

"Yeah, I just can't wait for tomorrow. It's getting a little stuffy here." Izuku told his mom who nodded in agreement looking around the white room.

Izuku sat next to his mother as the duo drove to their apartment building in their city of Musutafu. "I still can't believe Mr.Shield gave you his personal phone number!" The greenette boy exclaimed as his mother chuckled at his enthusiasm.

"Yeah, did you know he has a daughter?" Inko asked, trying to be nonchalant about the weird topic change.

"He does?" The green haired mother nodded her head.

"Yeah!" Inko exclaimed loudly causing her son to flinch, "He tells me she's incredibly intelligent and outgoing but has been having a tough time adjusting to Musutafu especially… um..." Izuku looked at his mother with confusion when she didn't elaborate, "Well anyway would you like to meet her? both Shield-San and I think you guys would be great friends!" Izuku hestainted for a moment.

'Would this girl be like everyone else? Would she hate me because… well I have a Quirk now, so does it really matter anymore? But I don't think I would want to be friends with someone who would treat me differently just because I have a Quirk now and it's not like I can tell people yet. It's too soon and anybody can connect what that spider did and my new Quirk.' Izuku thought to himself as he stared at his smiling mother.

'But mom does seem to really want me to meet her and she is David Shield's daughter... of course Kacchan is Auntie Misuki and Uncle Masaru's son and he still hates Quirkless people… but what kind of future Hero would I be if I didn't at least give her a chance.' Izuku nodded to himself.

"I would love to." Inko smiled brightly at her son.

"That's great! I just know you guys will hit it off." Inko told her son who nodded. "I'll call David-San later and he can set something up for the four of us." the boy nodded in acknowledgement.

Once both Midoriya's entered their apartment, Izuku strayed at the door. "Hey Kaa-Chan I'm going to walk around the neighborhood, get some fresh air!" As Izuku quickly left and ignored his mother's "Wait" pretending he didn't hear it and jogged down the stairs.

Izuku wanted to test out the full range of his new Quirk that seemed to grant him super hearing and venomous fangs-- he knew it was a mutant Quirk as no matter how hard he tried his fangs never retracted and his overly perfect vision and hearing couldn't be decreased only ignored.

He walked towards the park and sat down and soon began to focus on his hearing and winced at how many of the muffled voices he could hear again.

He took several deep breaths and tried to focus on one-- he saw a girl with raven black hair who seemed a few inches taller than him.

She seemed to be talking to a woman who looked alot like her and Izuku took a breath and pushed out all the other voices. "Kaa-San, are you and Tou-San really thinking of moving here? All my friends are at Aichi Prefecture and all the schools are better over there anyway." the woman patted the girl's head.

"Momo don't worry, okay. If this place is not up to mine or your father's standards then of course we won't move." She comforted her daughter who nodded after a moment.

"We only want what's best for you my little peach and since U.A is so close and you have decided you wanted to become a Pro-Hero it's only right to see if this area is a good fit. That way we don't have to be separated when the time comes." she smiled lightly at the girl who giggled as her mother lightly tapped her nose.

"Okay Kaa-San. Sorry." Momo told her mother who laughed and hugged her child tightly.

Izuku smiled at the conversation and decided it was about time to change targets as he felt a little creepy now.

Izuku spent two hours honing his hearing to different conversations at the park. He also found out his eyes could zoom into something like his hearing if he was focusing hard enough which was cool.

"BUZZ!!!" The green eyed boy held his head in slight pain wondering why he suddenly felt like the he was about to get knifed in the back, "Deku!!" A familiar voice screamed at him and the greenette winced seeing his childhood friend turned bully and his posse walking behind him.

Katsuki had a furious expression and his hands began emitting small explosions. "I'm going to fucking kill you!! That fucker of a doctor called the Hag and my Otou-San!!" He screamed in fury.

The greenette immediately ran away without a second thought, he could feel the wind blaze across his face. "DEKU!! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE AND TAKE YOUR BEATING LIKE A MAN!" Izuku ran even faster as he heard larger and larger explosive noises headed towards him.

As he ran he was amazed at how much distance he was covering in such a short amount of time, 'Guess I can add superhuman speed.' but despite that he could still hear the ash blonde bully behind him. He tried running faster and he soon saw an alleyway and made a quick right.

The greenette didn't want to get beaten up again, he looked around and saw a fire escape ladder which was a few feet in the air, so he crouched down and leaped up with all his strength but instead of jumping a few feet he flew over the building over to the next ally sticking onto the wall. "What..?" he muttered to himself but before he could think he fell off the wall and landed on the floor creating a slight dent.

"Owww..." Izuku held his head and curled into himself.

"Izuku, I was so worried about you!" Inko hugged her son tightly as he walked through the door.

"Dont worry Kaa-Chan, I was just at the park playing." Inko nodded with a smile.

"Well why don't you take a quick shower I'll start making your favorite meal-- Katsudon." Izuku nodded rapidly and headed towards the bathroom.

Izuku thought that school would be a nightmare and he was right.

He could feel Kacchan's eyes on him the entire time and the buzzing in the back of his skull was running on a loop in his head. It was incredibly difficult to stay a step ahead of him but with his new Quirk it was now doable.

He made it to the end of the day without a single hit or burn and none of his stuff was taken or destroyed, for the first time in a while Izuku went home not in any pain or humiliated in any way.

Izuku spent a few hours online trying to find a good place to train his Quirk and found a Beach filled with trash of all sizes; Takoba Municipal Beach.

He went there about an hour after he came home from school in a simple t-shirt and shorts, 'What is a pick up truck doing on a beach?!' Izuku eyebrows raised in astonishment.

Izuku knew he had leaping power but he didn't know if he also had an increase of overall strength and moving that truck could be a good test. He walked behind it and took a deep breath and laid his hands on the back and pushed against it with everything he had.

"BAGHHAH!" The pick up truck flew through the air, cashing through several garbage piles.

"Okay so I have super strength." Izuku nodded to himself and after a moment he whooped in the air. "Awesome!!"

As Izuku left the bathroom his 'Izuku-Tingle' (patent pending) buzzed. He looked around and saw nobody around him, but before he realized Katsuki had blasted his way through the empty hallway and aimed a punch towards his head with a vicious smirk. Fortunately Izuku dodged the impossible quick hit, surprising the ash blonde and many of the inhabitants lurking through the halls.

"Kami damn it!!" Katsuki screamed at the greenette. "Why can't you stay still and take your fucking beating?!?!" He began swiping at the boy with well timed mini explosions but Izuku continued to dodge, bending his back in what should have been a painful and impossible angle without an extreme amount of training.

"You're a fucking coward Deku! Always running AWAY!! Never fighting back!!" After another attempted explosion at his face he instinctively flipped over the ash blonde. "What. The. Fuck Deku?" Katsuki questioned in a hard tone as the rest of the students in the hall had widened eyes and open jaws.

Izuku swallowed roughly and considered running away again but the ash blonde words began to echo in his head, "I'm no..not ru..run..running away anymore Kacchan!" He exclaimed to Katsuki and raised his hands. 'I have a Quirk now, I have powers! I'm going to be a hero! He can't bully me anymore!'

Katsuki grounded his teeth together and rushed the greenette with a large right hook which Izuku grabbed, ignoring the heat on his face and flipped him on his back knocking the air out of his lungs. "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" a teacher screamed at the end of the hall and all the students ran leaving only Izuku and Katsuki staring up at the man.

Izuku sighed as he kicked the dirt in front of him as he walked home, 'Three months of detention.' The greenette shook his head in anger. 'At least they didn't call Kaa-Chan... of course if they did they would have to tell her who I fought and why his parents weren't called and why he wasn't punished too.'

'Izuku-Tingle' Izuku looked behind him and saw Katsuki following him with an enraged expression. "We're not done your fucking Deku!" Izuku looked at the boy and for a moment he thought about continuing the fight but realized he didn't need to fight him again. He proved to himself that he could stand up to his bully.

He proved that he wasn't the coward Kacchan said he was, his opinion didn't matter anymore. So he turned away from the ash blonde and ran all the way home with a large smile.

"Are you ready Izu?" Inko questioned the boy in the bathroom as she wore a black dress with her hair tied up with black heels and an old silver necklace wrapped around her neck.

"Yeah." Izuku left the bathroom wearing a dark green dress shirt rolled up to his elbows and black pants with matching shoes.

"You look so cute." Inko pinched his cheeks and Izuku blushed slightly and smiled at his mother.

"Thanks Kaa-Chan." the green haired mother patted his cheek.

"Let's go! The dinner reservation is at eight!" Izuku nodded with a happy smile.

Izuku sat across from a blonde girl with a pair of glasses and a red dress who shared an awkward smile with him as both their parents talked to each other. "S.s..s..so um...wh..wh..what kin..kinds of thi..thi..things do yo..you lik..like Shi..shield-Chan?" Izuku asked the blonde who wrinkled her nose.

"Call me Melissa please. I don't really like the last name things and I actually really like engineering like my father." Izuku nodded.

Y..y..you ca..can call me De..." Izuku coughed for a moment and blushed, " Yo..you ca..can cal..call m..me Izu..Izuku." Melissa nodded, "And that sounds cool, I..um... I like dra.. drawing des..des..designs for...po..poss.. possible in..inven..inventions. "He awkwardly told the girl who looked surprised. "I do..don..don''t ha..have th..the equi..equipment or mo..mo..money to ac..ac..act..actually bui..build anythi..anything an..and wh..whenever I do..do..double che..cheek m...m..my wo..work I al..al..alw...always fi..find a mi..mistake I missed." He laughed slightly.

"S..s..so wh..why do you like en..engin..engineering? i..i..is it ju..just be..beca..because of yo...yout Otou-San?" Izuku questioned the girl who shook her head.

"No, I actually wanted to be a Hero like Uncle Might but then I was diagnosed as Quirkless." Izuku's eyes bulged at what she just said. "I lost hope until Uncle told me that he wouldn't be the Hero he was without my dad. That his inventions helped him and saved his life a few times." she smiled brightly at the boy who blushed a little and how pretty she looked.

"He called my dad his hero and I decided that if I couldn't be a Pro-Hero then I would be a Hero to the Hero's! " Izuku grinned at the girl's enthusiasm.

"Th...th..that's rea..really in..insp..inspirational.'' The blonde face heated up slightly. "I..um I actually want to be a Pro-Hero." He told the girl who looked surprised and slightly concerned.

"I thought..." Izuku nodded in silent confirmation.

"I wa..a..am." Izuku swallowed his previous words hoping she didn't catch it. "It's just that... I want to help people, save them. I want people to see and think that they don't have to worry anymore because.." He laughed and the girl titled her head slightly. "Because I'm there." Melissa smiled slightly at the boy as he said that. "I know I can't be All Might, or any popular Hero but if I could just help a few people, as many people as I can then I think that's enough." Melissa couldn't help but have a large smile grow across her face.

"You didn't stutter once." she stated and the boy's face heated up, "You've been stuttering the whole time but as soon as you talked about becoming a Hero it disappeared." she giggled slightly. "You must really want to be one." Izuku nodded in confirmation.

"I actually filled like six journals with all the information of Heros I could find since I was four." Melissa raised an eyebrow. " I thought, what better way to become a hero than to study them." Melissa nodded with a smile and a small giggle.

"So what kind of inventions have you thought of?" Melissa asked and Izuku smiled.

"We should do this again." David said to Inko and Izuku as his daughter nodded in agreement.

"That would be wonderful! You guys can come over to our place and I can cook dinner." David agreed with the plan. "I'll text you a date." She took out her phone and immediately followed through causing the brown haired scientist to laugh.

"So I really liked talking to you today." Melissa stated and Izuku nodded with a blush.

"I really liked talking to you too." Melissa smiled slightly, "Would..yo..you like t..to ex..exchan..exchange ph..phone numbers." Melissa nodded and took out her phone and unlocked it. She headed into her contacts and gave the device to Izuku who typed in his phone number and quickly gave it back.

"I'll text you." Izuku nodded with a smile and after a moment his mom and him walked away as the Shield's entered a silver car and drove off.

"I'm glad we went out with them, today was great." Izuku told his mother who nodded.

"It was fun. David-San was so nice and charming." Inko sighed dreamily, making Izuku's heart stop for a moment and a grin stretched across his face.

"You like him!" Izuku accused his mom who blush and slapped the boy's arm.

"Izuku!!" she exclaimed at the boy as she laughed.

They continued walking towards the train station, "Okay maybe I like him a little." Izuku smiled and held his mother's hand.

'Izuku-Tingle!!' the greenette head shot around in alarm as the back of his head buzzed loudly but after several moments he saw no visible danger.

"Stop." Both Midoriya's listened to the voice as a brown haired teen with pale skin and grey eyes appeared in front of them and pointed a gun in their direction.

The teen towered over the mother and son duo and his eyes seemed skittish quickly looking around. He eyed the old silver necklace that hung around her neck and Inko saw where he was looking and covered it, shaking her head.

"No. nonono, it was my mother's." Inko whimpered and Izuku held her head, 'I should do something...I should do something but...but a Hero will come! I know they will, I'll just get in the way.' Izuku's hands squeezed as gently as he could around his mother's.

The thief's hand quickly reached for the necklace and Inko screamed in fright and before Izuku could react, before any Hero could help the gun went off.

"BANG!!" Izuku covered his ears in agony and after a moment he opened them only to see the thief gone and his mom laying on the ground with a hole in her bleeding chest.

Izuku's eyes widened and he fell to his knees and immediately put pressure on the wound but as soon as he focused on her heartbeat his throat broke out an agonizing scream.

There was no heartbeat. She was gone. His mother was dead.

After Izuku finished answering several questions about what happened, he sat next to a sketch artist to describe the teen who killed his mother in as much detail as he could remember and after a half an hour he was left alone.

Two detectives looked over the sketch and looked each other, "Didn't ask for money, didn't try to sexual assault the boy or woman and only took an old necklace." one detective laid out a few facts.

"Seems like killing the woman was his only goal and took the necklace as a trophy or.. as proof." The two detectives looked at each other for a moment.

"So could be a gang initiation; kill someone, take one of their belongings as proof and bam you're in." Izuku clenched his jaw in anger, hearing everything the detectives said. "Or it could be some sick kid who just likes killing people." He nodded at the point.

One detective sighed, "So what do we do with the kid?" Izuku's eyes twitched. "Well turns out the mom was divorced but she never gained full custody; it seems like the dad just agreed that the kid should just live with her without anything official so, he just goes home and waits until his old man gets back into the country."

The younger detective winced, "Well is there anyone we can call to pick the kid up at least. We can't just let him walk home." the other detective shook his head.

"No, the kid gave us a number for an old family friend but they didn't answer so i'll give him a ride to his apartment..and I guess that's the end of it." He shrugged and his partner sighed.

Izuku sat on the living room couch silently staring at a copied sketch of the teen who killed his mother with eyes burning with anger. "I'm going to make you pay." he silently promised the monster.
